Minuet Of the Forest

AUTHOR'S NOTE: It has been pointed out ot me that we are in Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I'm going to need all you folks out there to pray for Cyberen extra hard. For those of you not in on the scoop, the real animator, Cyberen AKA Brock J. has breast cancer. He is a male. Yes, it is very possible, and very serious. This is nothing to joke about. He doesn't have "breasts". In fact, he's sent me several naughty pictures over the years, and he has quite a nice body. He's in lots of pain right now. Please go to his Newgrounds page (cyberen.newgrounds.com) and wish him well. He needs all the support he can get right now, especially from the internet - the one place where he has friends; friends like YOU! What's the worst thing about being a genie? The cramped living condintions? The eternal slavery? Cyberen was bound to geniehood last episode (<a href="http://www.newgrounds.co" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://www.newgrounds.co</a> m/portal/view/466007) , and he's about to find out that it's losing your junk to a swirling trail of orange smoke! Cyberen is frantic because he(?) doesn't even remember what used to be down there, and frankly, folks, I don't either! Cyberen, always thirsty for self-insight, tries to call Jhonen Vasquez, but Jhonen Vasquez, turned into an octopus last episode, is unable to respond. Gilbert Gottfried discovers this secret conversation and confiscate's Cyberen's Cyberen-shaped cell phone, and reads him the entire book "Paradise Lost" as punishment. Cyberen realizes the only way to ever know the truth about his former little, orange sex organs is to get Gilbert Gottfried to wish for the information, but this will be very tricky, as he does not seem to have taken a liking to Cyberen (or maybe he just SOUNDS that way, who knows). How ever can our hero convince this cacophonous comedian/captor to conjur up a classification for Cyberen's crotch? Watch and find out!

Last episode (<a href="http://www.newgrounds.co" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://www.newgrounds.co</a> m/portal/view/465870) an unlikely ally saved the fair city of Alamosa from the clutches of Omega Cyberen: the genie! The famous mischief maker flies onto the scene and beats the living heck (pardon my language) out of Omega Cyberen, going as far as enchanting Jhonen Vasquez's wheelchair into a sticky bomber jet! Unfortunately (but perhaps intentionally :/), the genie left just enough time for Omega Cyberen to beat Cyberen's buns (I have a filthy mouth tonight, I'm really sorry, folks). When the terrible deed was done he dismembers the body (offscreen, of course, you know i detest violence) and magically reattatches Cyberen's arms and Legs. He attempts to do the same for Jhonen Vasquez, but unfortunately, Jhonen Vasquez, lacking the magical properties Cyberen innately possesses, rejects his old limbs, and instead, turns into an octopus (which is irrelevant to the remainder of this story, but it just might be a problem later on, you never know, folks). We left off with an ominous request from the genie for a favor in return (he must have had some reason for helping our heroes, after all). Mayor Chodestein was happy to oblige, but what ever could the genie want? Guess! Nope, it's worse! He wants Cyberen's immortal soul so that he can bind it to his lamp and be free, once and for all (maybe now he wont be such a grouch (I'm washing my mouth out with soap after I submit this))! Cyberen is not very happy about this, but he knows he must for the good of Alamosa. He soon finds out, however, that super powers and wish granting abilities can be quite fun; he even models his lamp after Invader Zim's basement! He sure loves Invader Zim. Some might think it's unhealthy, but I digress. Before long, Cyberen gets assigned to granting wishes for Gilbert Gottfried and begins to wish he was no longer immortal so that he could kill himself.

Today's episode Jhonen Vasquez's arms and legs have been ripped off in his not-so-well-thought-out plan to save Alamosa from the Russian's bio-weapon (Omega Cyberen). Left for dead, this gothy goofball slithers to The Happy Hospital using only his nipples, carrying his limbs in his gigantic frickin mouth. Jhonen Vasquez explains to wise old Dr. Buttswallows that his blood type is the same as Cyberen's. The delighted doctor proceeds to attatch Jhonen Vasquez's arms and legs to Cyberen's body. Using the miraculous, faith-based healing abilities that have enabled him to survive numerous suicide attempts, Cyberen gets back on his feet instantaniously and once again regains his vision and other senses (unfortunately, not his sense of fashion, as he finds himself sporting fishnet sleeves and tight, leather, chain-laden pants that a 1990s mall-goth would be ashamed to wear). Due to his psionic bond with the defected Phil Donahue, Cyberen has been aware of Omega Cyberen from the start, and has readied himself for a battle that you will NOT want to miss! Even with Jhonen Vasquez's valiant sacrifice and Cyberen's speedy recovery, this Russian ruffian has already decimated Alamosa! If Cyberen wants to step in before all is lost, he better shake a leg - even if it isnt his! AH HA HA HA HA HA! I crack me up. Enjoy the silly!

Cyberen Shakes a Leg!

Last episode (<a href="http://www.newgrounds.co" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://www.newgrounds.co</a> m/portal/view/465314), Cyberen, blown to pieces and stuck in a hospital bed discovered an ingenius way to communicatw with Dr. Buttswallows who thought Cyberen recieved massive brain damage during the explosion: tapping his head in Morse code! Dr. Buttswallows goes into the Happy Hospital storage room to collect the pieces of Cyberen and put him back together like Humpty-Dumpty, only to discover they are missing! With the help of Detective Browncock, a local, legendary private investigator formerly employed by the Alamosa Police Department before he was "mistakenly" charged with possession of child pornography and subsequently acquitted (don't worry, the full story is explained this episode), Dr. Buttswallows discovers Alamosa is in deep doo-doo (pardon my language)! You guessed it (or maybe not): it's the Russians!!! Still bitter about the loss of their submarine (good ole season one), it turns out they weren't bluffing about constructing their own Cyberen - a massive brute of a Cyberen hellbent on destroying Alamosa! Making matters worse, Cyberen's severely burned torso is unable to save the day like normal. Meanwhile, Jhonen Vasquez is hiding in the Alamosa Happy Fallout Shelter riddled with guilt. HE was the one who accidentally stole the submarine in season one, after all (you guys know the story). He realizes that if he can undo the stitches on Omega Cyberen (as it calls itself) he can return the stolen body parts to Cyberen, Cyberen could surely formulate a plan on how to get rid of this fifteen foot monstrosity (which would be quite deadly even after being debased by Jhonen Vasquez). The cowardly Jhonen Vasquez knows that it is a suicide mission, but is overcome with guilt and leaves the shelter to unravel Omega Cyberen. Its a long shot, but just maybe Jhonen Vasquez will succeed (I sure hope so :])!

With nothing else to do, Strawberry Clock and Orange Clock make sweet, sweet love to each other in the form of buttsecks. My Clock Day 2008 submission, of course. HAPPY FUCKING CLOCK DAY. B. Also, please note: This movie is extremely graphically intense. Low quality is recommended, but the audio may still go out of sync. If the audio isn't going with the pointer, either change your quality settings or find a better computer. As it turns out, my computer isn't handling it well, even while compressed. This is my first actual hand-drawn flash. I was in a flash animation class for college and this is what I was able to come up with. However, because I had about a week to do this, I had to make it shorter than I originally intended. As a result, that's how the idea of the "End of Part I" segment fell into place. I do intend to continue working on this however and I hope to improve on my artwork as well as the flash. Currently, I do not own any flash software for my computer at home. However, I have got myself a new desktop computer and I'll be seeking the programs that I need. I hope to get everything I need by the time I am off for summer vacation this year. Part 2 of this flash will be the first thing I'll try to accomplish and I plan to make it longer and better than this one. As for the characters, the only two that are my original artwork are Casey Finley (supposedly an anime-like version of myself) and Sonia. Everyone else I do not claim ownership of them. The entire flash in general was an inspiration from various works of my favorite flash artists. If you plan to put this up on YouTube, keep in mind that I too have a YouTube account. I'm known as ShadowRanma on YouTube. I already have this flash up on YouTube, so if you plan to put up a copy for yourself, be sure to give me credit for it. Trust me. I'll know if you don't. **UPDATE**
Sorry. I've forgotten to mention what's going on here. It's starting off with me (long black-haired dude with the blue vest and black shirt) playing my DS game and Sonia (girl with violet hair and blue eyes) somehow interrupts the game. I'm not going to spoil the rest of it, so the rest you'll have to see for yourself. Anyways, enjoy the flash, comment on it, criticize it, give me a few pointers, whatever comes to your mind. And, whether you gave my flash a good vote or not, I appreciate that you took the time to view my flash.

UPDATE: I can't thank you guys enough for the fantastic feedback. Top page = 6,000+ views... thanks so much front page picker guy! =D I submitted this video here on Newgrounds several days ago. I hadn't realized at the time however that over 10% of the films audio was lost. I apologize for reposting it... but since this spoof is entirely dependent upon its sound content (it's a musical) I believe it is worth the extra measures. Thanks so much to all those that pointed out the audio troubles in the first place. To view this movie with its original coloring, please darken your computer monitor slightly. Pirates: in the Key of Arrrgh! You've sailed to the ends of the world to catch back wicked Jack. You've liberated Calypso from her human bonds. All Aztec coins have been returned to their chest. Now break open that bottle of rum, unlace your corset and limber up your finest singing voice. We're about to do it all again... this time in rousing show tunes. All classic pirates characters are back (minus Cotton) to attend to all unfinished business. Of all sea creatures and coral specimens alike, why does Calypso opt to express herself through the hermit crab? What becomes of Elizabeth as she blissfully sunbathes upon that deserted isle? Is Jack truly any better off than he was nine hours ago? The scurvy filmmakers buried secrets deep beneath the movies' surfaces. Now join "Pirates in the Key of Arrrgh!" as we embark on a treasure hunt to answer all these burning questions and more. Some thanks...
Thanks to Gordon College for their hospitality.
Thanks to Roy Bailey for his knowledge in flash animation.
Thanks to AlmightyHans for his assistance with character design in the film.

Then I saw it. I entered a door and found a horrid sight, quicky finding out what this place was. There were tanks, rows after rows, each numbered and coded with lights and machines buzzing about. They were all empty, but one. I stopped and approached the thing in the tank, and as I walked forward I began to notice what was inside. it appeared to be a woman, unclothed, with a rather muscular build, greyish hair and a strange tatoo on her left shoulder. I approached the tank to study what I saw, I could not believe this was real. Who was this woman? what was this woman? Whoever had made this place.. did they create this person? questions only gathered more and more into my mind as I looked on farther. I gazed at the tatoo on the her shoulder, it was a symbol, followed by a barcode. in plain black. I sighed wondering what the hell this place was, and looked up to study her face. Perhaps she was a missing person who had been brough here, or a scientist conducting experiments on herself. I couldnt really make it out, so I got closer tank. My face was almost up to the glass before I could see clearly. I peered into her closed eyes and wondered if she was even alive. Her body was motionless inside the tank, surrounded by some sort of fluid. I became sick to my stomach at the thought someone would do such a thing to a human being. Then, as if hearing my words, the woman awoke, eyes wide open and almost buldging. Our eyes met, they were a strange shade of bright green, no color a natural pair of eyes were. She looked up and down at me in curiousity, as if never seeing anything like me before, and smiled. I was scared shitless, this woman had fangs, from the quick look I got they appeared sharper then that of a wolverines. I feel to the ground, startled(my face had still been up upon the glass). I looked up, the woman appeared confused at why I feel, and even a little upset, she must of known she had scared me. I approached the tank again, and looked up. She smiled again, and put her hand on the glass. Her face was horrifying, but yet I felt she meant no harm to me. I smiled back at her, and put my hand up on the glass where her hand was. Staring into her eyes I could tell that these were her first moments of life. She was probably made by whatever the hell these people were, whoever the hell they were, and had no idea what she was, or I was for that matter. I continued to look into her eyes, she was still smiling at me. I wondered what could possibly be on her mind, and then I heard a voice. "Intriguing", isn't it?" the man behind me said. I looked over quickly to see what it was. He wore a white pedicoat, along with a pair of spectacles and black boots. "It is the latest prototype of bio-human combatant soldier" the man said. "I wouldn't get too attached to it if I were you, we will have no need for it after its testing." he continued. "Its mind status is still of its own will, afterall, thats not what our founders want, do they?" I looked at him confused. "What do they want?" I asked suspiciously. He smiled, "Weapons, lots of them." He said. I looked over at the woman in the tank, and she smiled again. I qucikly realized what they were going to do to her. I began to feel bad for her. "Your going to kill her?" I asked dumbly. He looked suspicious, and a bit annoyed of my question. "When the research is complete, there will be no reason to keep it around." He said. "It was determined from the anaylis that it is unpredictable and will most likely not respond the way it is needed." He contininued. He looked at me and squinted, "Begone, forget what you have seen here, as if anyone would believe you anyways" he said smiling. I don't know what came over me. I felt bad for the poor creature in the tank. I pulled out the pistol and pointed it straight at the mans head. "Let her out." I said plainly. The man looked startled, but quicky regained his smirk. "Your making a big mistake boy." he said teasingly. "Let her out" I repeated angrily. He smirked, walked over and pushed a button.

A short animation about a little boy that wakes up to discover that he has an ear ache

This isn't your typical submission here, so if you come here for an animation with lots of explosions, fighting, ranchy humour, parody/ satire do not waste your time watching this, and don't comment about how I wasted your time. And if you don't like it don't tell me or give me constructive critism. Thanks! Sorry, needed to get that out of the way. About the animation: The animation is a little over a minute long animated at a frame rate of 15 frames per second. I've also submitted this to deviantart. The story is about a little boy that gets an ear ache and starts crying loudly. He's taken to the doctor where he's given drops and a teddy bear. The story was based on my brother, but no he never had a bear stuffed in his mouth to shut him up. I spent maybe 60 hours on this. And I think it is at least better quality than the first animation I submitted here. I was experimenting with the use of painted backgrounds rather than backgrounds drawn in flash and I think I liked the effect. I used marcomedia flash mx 2004, Photoshop CS, and Corel painter IX to make this. Thanks for viewing.

A Mages True Worth

You'll have to decide exactly what it is for yourself

It's about a minute long and mostly hand drawn frame-by-frame... it doesn't really have much of a point, I suppose. Hope you enjoy it! There seems to be a little sound sync problem in a couple of places, so I'm working on fixing that... sorry! Anyways, I definately welcome your comments, you can't improve without having your faults pointed out. And remember... YOU are the social commentary.
