A lot of people aren't getting their medals...It's not that I don't care, it's because I don't know what's wrong. Something has seriously broken between the time we launched and right now - maybe something to do with shit serverside, maybe something that was changed inpage, no clue - all I know is that they worked for a long while, and now it's all a broken shitstorm (some people get them, some don't). We had to use a seriously experimental, last-minute method to get medals in this to begin with, as the standard medal code wouldn't export with the collab (the collab barely exported WITHOUT the medal code). Just make sure you're logged in and hope for the best...I guess. LOOK, I'M POWERLESS, I CAN'T DO ANYTHING, I'M JUST SOME GUY WITH A TINY DICK AND AN EVEN SMALLER BRAIN, AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON SO STOP CONTACTING ME BECAUSE I'LL JUST BE DUMB ALL OVER MY INBOX // + // The long (AND I MEAN LONG, N***A) awaited Street Fighter Collab is finally here! Lots of artists, lots of Street Fighter cartoons - grab coffee / beer / bourbon / wine / friends / parents and...enjoy! Big file, yeah, but it's looong! (P.S. Don't grab your parents.) There was a couple other submissions I really wanted to add, but couldn't for one reason or another. Sad times, but whaddya gonna do. Feel free to throw your shit up alongside this...maybe have a Street Fighter night! Gonna send out some co-auths' later and fill that up more. DO YOU LOVE IT OR DO YOU LOVE IT?

Street Fighter Collab

A story about Chainsaw the Children's son's life. Happy Pico Day!

February 1st, the day that the Shape 'n Shape Collab was submitted for a second time. I can't say I was happy with the outcome at first, but you know what, collabs are about working with others and having fun. That one was short, but I couldn't stay mad at anybody. We also got some great feedback. Even Mindchamber wants us dead. Hehehe... Well, here we are on good old Pico Day. I decided to make something this year, and still can't beleive I made a three minute movie in 12 days. BUT, I have spent at least a good 50 hours working on this. Nonetheless, I handled this movie with care and really love the outcome. I hope you will too to some extent. If you have any problems watching the movie, please tell me. This is a small story of events in the life of Chainsaw the Children's (Dad) son's life. I think it's pretty enjoyable. A simple comedy, but I have to warn you, the art is pretty shitty. Enjoy. MEDIUM QUALITY HIGHLY RECCOMENDED Edit 1: Finally! I got the Flash Ads working. Some minor trouble there, never used it before. That dickhead JohhnyUtah told me that I didn't have to add that 4-digit code. Specs
Runtime: Three minutes, two seconds (not counting credits)
24FPS
5348 total frames
Flash Ads online and working Edit 2: It got in the collection? Alright. I know that most non-spam submission for hte occasion will get in anyway, but now plenty of people will be seeing this movie. Awesome.

THANKS FOR YOUR REVIEWS! After receiving over 350, I CAN'T PROMISE I'LL RESPOND TO NEW REVIEWS! I'll try! Here is the Newgrounds Flash version of "A Bid for Freedom". It is a story that I wrote and converted into a small fable with images provided by the talented Nacho Rodriguez (who created Mr. Coo and won the #1 slot in Cold Hard Flash's Best Animated) and lush watercolours by his girlfriend Cecilia Deshayes.
It is an illustrated storybook, narrated for your pleasure by the debonair Andy Dennis, with guest turns by Sasuya and Josh "Tomamoto" Tomar you HAVE to hear!
The Storybook route was pursued so it could enter ReNaeNae's excellent Storybook Collab;
<a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1003968">http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1003968</a> Talents in writing, art, voice, sound, code etc. should give it a look! To turn the pages, hover your mouse pointer over the bottom corner of the page, then left-click and drag the page across with your mouse until it fully flips over.
Narration starts on each page as you view it, but you're free to read at your own pace (you can right-click and select "Zoom In", then drag around to see all the fine details). This story is NOT an attempt at hair-pin-bend trigger-happy balls-to-the-wall FBF hentai-maniac game-parodying shenanigannary. NO REALLY, IT'S NOT!
The power here is in the words and the pictures.
There is COMEDY, ACTION, DRAMA and ROMANCE, all skewed at odd angles.
There's fantasy, exotic locations, body odour, and even a fast car if you stick with it!
Have patience, we've many things to offer you. Stick with us. We're a good group. Please vote and review showing respect to the combined talent and hard work involved in this Flash. A lot of passion went into this just for you guys, so be fair.
Critique, constructive criticism, suggestions, these are things we graciously accept.
If you vote or review abusively, you let Newgrounds down. Don't.
If this is "not your sort of thing" or you're somehow disappointed by the lack of animation, this is not the fault of anyone involved; no-one's forcing you to watch! With all this in mind, we hope you enjoy (with your drink or snack of choice) our hard work, vote and review responsibly... and may your day be brighter. For more awesome while you wait, check out:

Further thanks go to the Newgrounds Team for their support of this work, and to all Newgrounds users who do the same (including Mr GUS, who is highly underrated: be sure to see his latest <a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/483436">http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/483436</a> and vote for it in this year's Treasure Hunt).

Some folks have asked why these episodes are a little shorter than the earlier Press Start cartoons. Mario has learned how to ActionScript 3.0 to make art!

** EDIT ** OK, for those of you who "don't get it." To create an ever evolving background, the code, or actionScript, is going through a loop. it repeats over and over, redrawing shapes in various random colors. It never ends, yet it is ever changing. It repeats a pattern. To put it as basic as possible - Go take some mushrooms and watch the center of the hole for like...5 minutes. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND. This is a process art using ActionScript 3.0. I wanted to make a loop that was completely algorithmic (to demonstrate intellectual superiority, of course.... j/k) Programming can make some very interesting works, and exploring this is a great way to create art pieces. Make algorithmic art!
AND PLEASE don't vote based on length, or humor...vote based on the CODE which was used to make this :)

Tweening for beginners

AUTHOR'S NOTE: It has been pointed out ot me that we are in Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I'm going to need all you folks out there to pray for Cyberen extra hard. For those of you not in on the scoop, the real animator, Cyberen AKA Brock J. has breast cancer. He is a male. Yes, it is very possible, and very serious. This is nothing to joke about. He doesn't have "breasts". In fact, he's sent me several naughty pictures over the years, and he has quite a nice body. He's in lots of pain right now. Please go to his Newgrounds page (cyberen.newgrounds.com) and wish him well. He needs all the support he can get right now, especially from the internet - the one place where he has friends; friends like YOU! Last episode (<a href="http://www.newgrounds.co" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://www.newgrounds.co</a> m/portal/view/465314), Cyberen, blown to pieces and stuck in a hospital bed discovered an ingenius way to communicatw with Dr. Buttswallows who thought Cyberen recieved massive brain damage during the explosion: tapping his head in Morse code! Dr. Buttswallows goes into the Happy Hospital storage room to collect the pieces of Cyberen and put him back together like Humpty-Dumpty, only to discover they are missing! With the help of Detective Browncock, a local, legendary private investigator formerly employed by the Alamosa Police Department before he was "mistakenly" charged with possession of child pornography and subsequently acquitted (don't worry, the full story is explained this episode), Dr. Buttswallows discovers Alamosa is in deep doo-doo (pardon my language)! You guessed it (or maybe not): it's the Russians!!! Still bitter about the loss of their submarine (good ole season one), it turns out they weren't bluffing about constructing their own Cyberen - a massive brute of a Cyberen hellbent on destroying Alamosa! Making matters worse, Cyberen's severely burned torso is unable to save the day like normal. Meanwhile, Jhonen Vasquez is hiding in the Alamosa Happy Fallout Shelter riddled with guilt. HE was the one who accidentally stole the submarine in season one, after all (you guys know the story). He realizes that if he can undo the stitches on Omega Cyberen (as it calls itself) he can return the stolen body parts to Cyberen, Cyberen could surely formulate a plan on how to get rid of this fifteen foot monstrosity (which would be quite deadly even after being debased by Jhonen Vasquez). The cowardly Jhonen Vasquez knows that it is a suicide mission, but is overcome with guilt and leaves the shelter to unravel Omega Cyberen. Its a long shot, but just maybe Jhonen Vasquez will succeed (I sure hope so :])!

Hunt For the Red Cyberen

Ok so, first of all. I used to be tager. But i thought against that name and im now quantium graphics. Impressive name eh? Well anyways i was experimenting with code and the such, as thats the only place im a major noob at, when i discovered quite a few new tricks, delving into the deep files on the interior of my computer i discovered a large amount of tweening.. i say large - i mean insane. And did this little number, combining the hell loads of tweening (now refered to as "Kaleido") and mixed it with the code. THIS IS THE OUTCOME! IMPORTANT NOTES THIS IS THE CHANGED VERSION, PRELOADER WORKS NOW - SORRY FOR WASTED TIME BEFORE Put on low quality, or your computer will break. BEAVERS!

KALIEDO.

I would have added a replay button to this, but Flash refused to accept the code for "on (release) {"

Walk in the Woods

a collab I started at stick page. I decided to post it here. tell me what you think.

specs:
fps: 18(though some entries had the fps code)
canvas: 550x400 (for most of the entries)
time taken to start and finish: about 2 months.
duration: 1.53 minutes (excluding the credits)
collab compiled by: me, zwolfsburg/zwolfs. people who entered:
UlionX
madness
destructomat
Puddles1000 (PuD)
NegaDrain
stickflasher
Raffeh
blacky
zwolfs (me)
zofar
javarush214 (sorry about the lag) I already know that I made some typos in the credits. I also know that madness's entry had a layer problem and javarush214's entry lagged (because the fps code didn't work). I'd like to thank nega drain for making the menu ( I just edited it.) and I'd also like to thank Raffeh for helping with the actionscript. If you select a scene from the scene select menu than the animation will play from the chosen frame but you won't be able to hear the music. It doesn't matter that much, lol. I also forgot to credit stormwalker, leo4life and unsichtbar for not finishing their entries.

the bouncy ball collab

Exact same code typed out works though... :S

Preloader Made Easy

For once i am serious! I am going to finish this off unlike all the other ones i made.
I'm going to make this game! It was inspired by Fancy Pants Adventure.
This may take a month or two but i think its gona be worth it. I will need allot of help since
i can't code. Any volunteers to help code would be greatly appreciated and get a huge amount of the credit. This is just like a little introduction to the game.
In the game, you are an evil stick man who found a sword in a rock. This sword was a good holy sword and stuff so it made you want to turn good. But you need to know why you like to randomly kill before you turn good. So you make your quest to the Wise One who wants to kill you. When you defeat him in a battle he will tell you and then *BINGO* game over and you win. Thats my plan of it. Hopefully you will get levels and special moves and EXP.
At the end there is a little preview of 2 of the main powerfull moves. It's a pretty short movie. Enjoy. Any volunteers for helping me with the actionscript please pm me. When it says "And so the adventure begins" thats the end.

Dare to ask if I have any Wii's in stock?

Daily 1st!? Awesome! And a weekly third! Right in time for my Birthday ^_^ Yay Front Page ^____^ Apparently a lot of people share my pain. I dedicate this flash to them, but I'm sure the rest of you will enjoy it all the same! EDIT: Seeing as several people love stealing this, I've decided that I'll allow some sites to host this as well, so long as I am asked before hand. Please, no more PM's about people stealing it. So many already have... At least it shows my name at the very end, although some people have taken that part out... I work at Target as the Electronics Specialist. You have NO idea how many times a day I get asked if we have Wii's in Stock. This is the reply I wish I could give. NOTE: New Version has a very simplistic "REPLAY" button and now has a code to help prevent people stealing it... as much...
