This was a real thing that almost happened.

No yeah, over in Denver Colorado, United Airlines thought this was a fitting tribute to the tragedy that was 9/11 Thankfully they cancelled it at the last minute, but it was a real "What were they thinking?" Kind of moment that I felt like was silly enough to laugh about and point out how ridiculous it is. This was also a huge speed test, I got this done in record time. The idea came yesterday, and it's done today. HELL YEAH. Big shout out to TeffyD who made the perfect track for this, found it from the Corporate Music Collab in the audio portal! I'm Stuck

Family, love, violence, death. The ludicrousness of a western upbringing in a nutshell.

This is my graduation film from Vancouver Film School's Classical Animation program (CA88). I made this all the way back in 2014/15, but, same with the other films that I've been uploading, only now, eleven years later, it has occurred to me that maybe it'd be a cool thing to have them here on Newgrounds as well. The film achieved quite a bit of success in the animation festival circuit, and I hope you'll enjoy it too :) P.S.: Some people tend to think, after watching this film, that this is a pro-gun film (or even worse, a "pro-mass shooting" film) and I'd like to make myself quite clear: I obviously do not condone gun violence of any kind, specially in schools - just like any decent human being, I think it is a disgraceful, heinous thing. The film is actually criticizing gun/macho culture. Anyway, I presume that the users of the website that gave us Pico's School will be able to see that. Seven raids were launched each with two British Vulcan bombers and eleven Victor tankers. The raids targeted the airfield as well as radar and surface defense positions on the isles using bombs or new American supplied Shrike Anti-radiation (radar seeking) missiles. The raids would go down as the longest bombing missions of the 20th century, however, they are also generally considered to have been ineffective, causing only light and quickly repaired damage to the airfield and radar sites. The raids were criticized as being an excuse for the airforce to justify its existence and avoid budget cuts in what was shaping up to be mostly an army and naval operation. The raids did have a demoralizing effect on the Argentinians and caused them to shift some of their air assets in order to ensure future raids couldn't target cities on the mainland. ---------------------------------------------About me:--------------------------------------------- I'm Imperial Scribe, I make animations about military and naval history as well as war theory. sfct part eleven

Animation based on a poem with the same name by Ingmar Heytze

This is the first animation I upload on Newgrounds.
It's based on a poem with the same name by Ingmar Heytze. It's about the longing for extra-terrestrial life. The poem is recited by a friend of mine Boss John Carpenter. Translation for those who so desire: Man 1: What's keeping the universe.
Man 2: It promised.
-Gentlemen's suffering Now that stargazers unperturbed
stare into the empty space,
voyagers like steel lints
soar through a dark vacuum
and dishes gather white noise,
we know: we are alone. But those willing to see in eleven dimensions
dream up creatures of crystal-
ears large as cornfields
hear each silent night
their laughter from distant systems
in a glittering universe. One breathes in, one breathes out,
one waits - It's a rather poor translation, but it's very difficult to translate poetry. I hear not everyone likes it when something that isn't in English is uploaded here, so that's why I did it anyway.

Kosmisch Intermezzo

This continued for eleven cycles, until five complete short films were ready.

24 animations about Toast, a Fez Hat and a hideous Nyan cat.

Here's the compilation video of this year's '24 in 24'. The basic idea is that we attempt to create 24 animations in 24 hours. This year, we were only able to get 20 finished in the 24 hour time period, and had to do some overtime to complete the final 4 animations. It's a bummer that we couldn't get them all finished in the allocated time, but we're overall happy with the quality this year, even if some of them turned out rather cringe-worthy. Josiah Brooks did the male voices for the Toast and Cloud series, and he did a fantastic job. We used some of the left over audio to create other animations such as Gross Nyan Cat. Hania Lee did the voice for Toast's daughter, Katie. We'll probably do an extended version of Fez Guy at some point. Thanks to everyone who tuned into the live broadcast to contribute their ideas!
