Coming 2022Add to your wishlist on Steam! Vaygren, a fantastical world, filled with memorable women and nations constantly at war… at least until Alees used her might and magic to unify the world. The great Queen Alees will do whatever necessary to keep her peace! Rebellion is on the rise! The renowned general Solara sends Nyx, an ambitious and proud Nekomata under her command, to investigate possible rebellious activities and eliminate them. Nyx graciously eagerly accepts the assignment, although she’s less than thrilled to find that her team for the mission consists solely of newbie cadets fresh out of training. Even so, her ambition won’t let her turn down the assignment. And besides… there are perks to being in command of an entire squad of hotties, and Nyx never could turn down a hot piece of ass. Visit the website for updates and more!

I took a little break from the usual projects this month to try and do something I've wanted to do for a while... It's still April in my part of the world, which means I've made finished this project just in time! Have some April O'Neil! I grew up with the classic Ninja Turtle's cartoon (though it was reruns and rented VHS tapes at the time), and I've desperately wanted to contribute to the April in April movement for the last couple of years. Unfortunately, due to how long my puppet animation takes, I've never been able to work quick enough, nor find an artist interested in drawing the assets. Vaygren - Happy Thanksgiving

I'm super happy with how this one came out! I set out to make this one look as much like traditionally drawn, frame-by-frame animation as possible, even though it's all really just puppet animation! I was hoping to have this out for the release on Netflix, but... well, didn't quite make it. >_< Here's the "Super Authentic Hentai Edition":

Vaygren: Yvain's Reward - Teaser

This is our tribute to Zone, who gave us something great over a decade ago. This project took a bit longer than we'd hoped, but the quality was well worth it! I used a new technique with animating to try and make everything look more like it was animated "frame-by-frame" instead of puppet animation, and I think it came out pretty well! Enjoy! And if you like traditional frame-by-frame animation, I also do some work with Cyberframe: patreon.com/Cyberframe

Elastigirl is shirking her superhero duties... A collaboration from myself and Slappyfrog! It's just a simple loop, but I'm pretty happy with it, though I think the guy's hand movements could use some improvment. I went with 24fps for this one over my usual 12. It looks much smoother, and my thoughts were that it emulates the 24fps look of the film, where my 12fps is usually meant to mimic the look of 2d animated television.

Vaygren: Royal Pain in the Ass

Like all the best abominations, this one was inspired by a clerical error I made while inputting some data for the animation. The result was so amazing, how could I not make a loop of it?

Porl & Stoveny - Veracity

This one is entirely RelatedGuy's fault. When I started making these test animations, he suggested this. I think that it's really Pearl's motion that really makes this one. Also, check out the sheen on that gem.

Porl & Stoveny - Right Round

At this point, the majority of the rig is done. Admittedly, the rig can still be broken if it isn't animated correctly...

Porl & Stoveny - How We Do It

Now we actually start seeing some reasonable looking animation... even if I've enlarged their heads a tad. Pretty happy with how the lipsync and head rigs are working out. :D

Porl & Stoveny - Bobble

Although this might seem like a bit of a step backwards, this is where we start seeing some of Pearl's

Porl & Stoveny - The Truth is Out There

By this point, most of Stevonnie's rig was complete (still a bit more to be done on the hair), and I'd started testing out some of the lips sync and facial animations.

Porl & Stoveny - Bouncin'

One of the big motivators behind this particular abomination was to see how well I could convert an animation into pixel art. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty pleased with how it came out.

Also, I'd …

Porl & Stoveny - Megastevonia

This is a perfectly legitimate way to test out an animation rig, I swear. For instance, I was able to identify a problem in Stevonnie's rig where her right breast was not animating when being exported…

Porl & Stoveny - Regret

Just testing out the capabilities of my rig.

Porl & Stoveny - Can't Can't

As I've been working on the Pearl and Stevonnie animation, I occasionally render out these absurd little videos, sometimes set to music, in order to test out the range of motion in the rig I built.
S…
