Despite his ambulating to parts anew and the aging of his forme, still he finds himself stuck in the throes of his own debt of mind, the stores of his mental account now plummeting deep into the negatives.Carved still with the symbols of those who would never regard him, Phono once again seeks out the bear; with the still-held belief that only its claws are capable of puncturing the varicose swelling of potential boiling within him and bringing an end to the torment caused by his stagnant, frustrated meandering. But the bear has expanded its dominion much in the two years since; expansions of which threaten to halt Phono on his assured path to ideation. Surely there could be some compromise...

The head honcho Cisernos get manhandled by a man in armor for being abusive

"I always knew that i shouldn't have hope. But for just one moment, i wanted to dream." Bola thought to herself, fighting the tears that threatened to burst forth by closing her eyes. The patrons begin to pour back into the cafe. "Hey Bola." That same raspy voice that lorded over her nightmares came to her ears. Bola opened her blurry vision only to be greeted with Cisernos's terrifying grin as she licked her lips inches from the maid's visage. "It's time for us to discuss your work performance." She said slowly, watching with glee as the fear and hopelessness truly etched itself on the maid's face with every word she says. Bola's third eye darted to the right. Juri stood there, a bead of sweat broke across her forehead. Her hands trembling, it was alien to Bola to see the sadistic maid in such a state. "Don't look at Juri, she isn't going to save you. Now about that client." Cisernos grabbed Bola's wrist, she didn't grab too hard or anything. Why would she? The look on Bola's dumb cute little face tells her that she isn't going to resist. "Follow me into my office-" Cisneros noticed that Bola's eyes widened and her lip started trembling as she took a wobbly step back, Juri took five steps back, the maids stood as still as a scarecrow. And that when she felt the scalding hot metal fingers wrapped around her throat. Searing the flesh off her neck. She was lifted off the ground like a toddler, the now heated metal burning into her throat. Bola fell on her butt as she stared at the raging inferno that was the armored warrior who saved her life. The Slayer has returned. Cisneros got slammed face first into the ground, cracks forming as her nose is caved in and lights flung wildly in her vision as she thrown into the window of Sweet Cream. "OOOOOHHHHHHHHH SHHHHHHHHHHIITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!" Cisneros screamed as she hit the glass back first, the shattering making all the patrons jump back. Some of the maids winced, not in sympathy, but some of them knew from first hand experience that getting hurled through a glass window hurted. Cisneros had been so kind as to demonstrate that to them whenever they got out of line. Lucky for her that she had access to a repairman that was pretty cheap. Cisneros felt the long jagged glass shards impale her all over. Luckily none of them hit too deep. The back of her head hit the counter of the bar, knocking over drinks. She blacked out for only a moment, prior experiences had hardened her to quickly snap out of a black out. Another factor that played into her recovering a little more quickly was her martial art. All Martial Art users have a higher tolerance for pain and damage. How much can they take depends from user to user. "And…thank Veju for me unlocking my Martial Art. But to more important matters…HOW THE FUCK ISN'T THIS BASTARD DEA-" The thought that Cisneros had died in her brain as she saw the towering inferno walking towards her like a warning from the Titans themselves. Cisernos grabbed her shotgun, her hands shaking, the melted flesh from her throat dripping onto the shotgun. she couldn't afford to make another pocket dimension. It would take a lot of time and energy which she damn sure didn't have right now. Hell when she got access to that giant napalm bomb courtesy of Reggie she placed it in the pocket dimension because she knew that if she ever had to finally take down that smug bastard Mikhali then that would be an instant win condition. "I knew he was tough but how the hells did he survive that?! It was a specially designed napalm bomb made in that other realm during a war. That bomb alone could wipe out an entire army! I paid half of Juri's college fund for that bomb!" She thought in a panic (she hated the fact that she of all people was losing her calm in this moment.) The Patrons scattered with only one female staying to watch what was about to happen. She was obliterated on five beers and three martinis and she never missed a good fight in her life. "Juri! Soda! Get him!!!" Cisernos roared, even if it pained her to do so, luckily her vocal cords weren't damaged too badly. Both Juri and Soda look at each other, and then at the burning warrior that slowly made his way to their boss. Each step blackening the wooden floor. Juri's hands tightened over the handle of the farenblade (a laser sword that can cut through most things, she was not eager to risk her life on this simple fact however.) and she took a step back. The sweet wholesome maid next to her named Soda hovered her hand near her gun holster before thinking better of it. "You fucking cowards, all of you are good for nothing-" Cisneros cut herself off, now wasn't the time for perfectly justified anger. Cisneros attempted to fire her shotgun but the Slayer jammed his fingers into the hole and the shotgun exploded, Cisneros's right arm exploded in pain as it became encased in ice. The feeling in her hand was already dead. The sharp ice shards tearing through her veins and muscle tissue. She screamed in agony, and did her best to blink back the tears rapidly making their way to her eyes. The one woman cheered as the maids gasped in shock and horror. Bola's eyes were as wide as dinner plates as Juri had a small smile at the sight of Cisernos's in pain. Soda grinned at the satisfying sight of her boss finally getting what was coming to her bitch ass. The Slayer grabbed her by the hair and forced her to look him in the eyes. All the patrons and maids watched with bated breath. "Who else does Mikhali have under him? It can't be just you, give me names." The Slayer told her as he lifted her up in front of everyone, powerless to do much of anything. And she fucking hated that. Cisernos grunts but figures she still have a shot of getting out of this alive with most of her body intact. "Mikhali you bastard, you might actually be in trouble." Cisernos thought with a grin. "Alright, I assume you want to be a hero to the downtrodden so i give you the names and you get the hell out of my establishment. Deal?" Cisnernos asked of the warrior. The Slayer nodded.

Original music with an animation inspired by Out of this World made entirely in Aseprite.

This is a rotoscoped music video for our new single Equinox. Equinox’s video is heavily inspired by Out of this World, specifically the SNES port I played over 20 years ago. It totals 3882 individually drawn frames entirely made in Aseprite at 25fps and overlayed in Vegas. The animation’s resolution matches that of the Super Nintendo and it’s made with a strict color palette. This took 9 months to complete. Fun fact the majority of the scenes take place in the Middlesex Greenway which spans 3 different towns in New Jersey, with other locations being in Middlesex College, Roosevelt Park in Edison and the final scene takes place upon Washington Rock in Greenbrook NJ. The Middlesex Greenway is a very special place to me. I tried my best to convey the bittersweet feeling of change and aging by paralleling these concepts with the autumn equinox. I really hope you guys enjoy my video as much as I did making it. Much love-Slingtaile from the duo Bastard Feather

20 animators redo the original english dub opening, ROCK THE DRAGON

Toriyama sensei's work inspired multiple generations of animators, especially due to being dubbed in so many languages early on in the popularity of anime in the west.We originally released this on Goku Day 2024, and now it's here on Newgrounds to share as well. I know this song is hated by a lot of people for good reason, lol. But please follow me on this line of thought- I'm 38, and I've been a huge DB fan since I was about 11 or 12 in mid 90s America. My first exposure to the show was even earlier, original Dragon Ball in full Japanese airing very early in the morning on some channel we got when I was a little kid. I'd think this was a fever dream if I didn't remember so many details. The impression the show left on me (in both instances) was enormous. How it LOOKED and how it MOVED. I'd never seen anything like that then. Seeing this dumb intro blast on to tv all insanely with the Ocean dub in like, 1997, broke my brain in a phenomenal way. This I know to be true as well for a lot of current animators who are aging rapidly like me (lol). I've seen Japanese language DB several times over at this point, and like a weird purist don't ever watch the dub-- but oh baby, the Ocean dub in the 90's just hits that specific way that brings me back to being so small and sitting in front of a tube TV, absorbing the show into my bones. I wanted to pay tribute to that feeling, and how much effect this feeling has had on the animation community across the globe. I was deeply saddened by the loss Tori-sensei this year, way too soon for it not to be tragic. I feel like I owe so much to him. I hope he knew the sheer amount of people he influenced, just exactly that same way. <img src="https://uploads.ungrounded.net/tmp/img/1209000/iu_1209048_18188906.webp" width="764" height="1019" alt="iu_1209048_18188906.webp" data-smart-scale="764,1019"> Brianne Drouhard - Worthikids - Aaron Long - RubberRoss w/Giwi - Quinn Taketa - Charlie Bryant - David Liu - Nas Pasha - SmallBu - Tom Barkel w/Sarah Harper - Ashley Nichols - Louie Zong - Paul Robertson - Arin Hanson - KC Green - Parker Simmons - Abby Memedokies
