DESYNCED - The Animated Pilot

An animated short written and directed by Matthew Davidson.

Back in 2021, when I was a student at high school, and after working on Two Friends, I made another short called Animal Rescue. It's an original short with its original characters and story and sort of inspired by the Peppa Pig episode "The Flying Vet", but is not an adaptation of any previous material or related to it in terms of plot. Also, it's the final of two of my finest animated shorts with limited animation and stick figure character designs before moving forward to drawing with dimension and learning the twelve principles of animation.

A wolf ran from a life of killing. Only to be directly confronted by his past.

Please comment your thoughts on the video! As mentioned, this animation's based on a chapter of my new book: "Killer Birthright"If you would like to see more of what led to this confrontation as well as what happens next, consider picking it up on Lulu.com for $15.99!!I decided not to put it on amazon because it enforces much higher pricing. It would've been more around $30.Purchase here!https://www.lulu.com/shop/joseph-kennedy/killer-birthright-illustrated-edition/paperback/product-gj4jn6m.html?q=&page=1&pageSize=4 Or if you don't like links, go to Lulu.com and search: Killer Birthright by Joseph KennedyThis book was a major passion project of mine and I hope you all enjoy it!

Glass Eyes (Animated Short Film - Novel Adaptation)

Thanks to the Fate fandom's incredible support, you can now see Artoria Pendragon sharing a much closer, sweeter dynamic with Shirou 💙💖It always felt surprising that she never got an animated adaptation fully dedicated to her romantic route (unlike Rin and Sakura) especially considering how adorable and charming her personality is 😳💕

Part 2 of the animation adaptation based on BigiGts's comic with the same title.

Here it is finally! After a very, VERY long delay, the 2nd part and finale of the animation "HoloXtra - Big N' Smol" is finally here! 😭😭😭 With Lui seemingly missing and having been dropped in an unknown location, Iroha decided to separate with Laplus and Koyori to run around the massive, garbage-filled room and look for her, not knowing that Lui had fallen inside one of Chloe's boots, waking up and trying to get out of the stinky prison by herself but to no avail.Laplus and Koyori on the other hand decided to climb Chloe's bedroom to help with the search with the idea that having a much better view of the whole room could make finding Lui much faster, that is, until Laplus decided to separate with Koyori and wake Chloe up properly to help them get to the portal. Will they succeed in each of their goals and go back to their normal size? Or will they become forever trapped within the confines of Chloe's massive room full of trash? And for the most important question: Will Chloe even try to clean her room before Sora-senpai visits?Find out in this 2nd part and finale of the animation which took me 4+ months to make! 😓😓😓 _____________________________________________________________________ This video is an adaptation from BigiGts's comic with the same name, but I decided after consulting them that I want to create some sort of epilogue after the ending part of the original comic story (we've talked/discussed about what the extra scenes' story will be like and what scenario would be added). I had to split the animation into 2 parts because the story is very long. This might be one of the challenging animations that I made for a while as I needed to animate five/six separate characters individually (which is different than just using some random mob models in my other videos), use some heavy effects (which causes so much lag and sometimes crashed MMD on my "potato" laptop, and also causes some random glitches when rendering the video, which I can't fix sadly so expect some "glitches" when watching), and specifically making Chloe's messy room (which took me more than a week to make an edit of). I also had some challenges from my IRL/health stuff (like my thumb randomly twitching due to overwork and in one time I woke up in the middle of the night where it doesn't stop twitching which is scary, random blackouts in our place which made me force to bring my potato laptop at work just to continue on the animation, and other private related matters). Anyways, sorry again for the very long delay and I hope you enjoy watching the video and the wait was worth it~! 😖😖😖 If you like my videos and wanted to show some support, you can support me on my Patreon, Subscribestar or Ko-fi. It helps me keep motivated to make more videos in the future! (MMD Giantess) HoloXtra: Big N' Smol (Part 2)

A cool animation I decided to make using more scrapped models from Foodfight!

I decided to do another short similar to my previous one, SUGI, for this year's Newgrounds Low Poly Day. I mentioned in the description of SUGI that I used 3D models that a friend of mine, Ziggy Cashmere, recovered from the original production of the infamously terrible animated film, Foodfight!, which he made a YouTube documentary about the insane production of. However, I never could've guessed that more models would be recovered since. Long story short, he found even more background character models, almost 100 of them, as well as some environment models from a cancelled video game adaptation of Foodfight! I had been playing around with those models for several months, but I decided to lock in and make something quick with them for this year's Low Poly Day. I spent some time fixing an environment model of Chinatown from a flying level in the cancelled game, which involved meticulously going through an old folder of textures and reapplying each of them to the correct faces of the model. Then I took two of the recently found character models, Alyssa and Gutter Girl, and made a quick mocap animation of them skating through the environment since they both had skateboards with their model. I'm admittedly more proud of the work I did restoring the Chinatown city then I am with the character animation, but I think it was worth making something quick just to show it off to the world. Also I have to give another special shoutout to Jiji, a friend of a friend, who gave me permission to use another one of his tracks, "Olliewood", as the soundtrack for this animation. His great Y2K techno beats really add to the vibe of the low-poly aesthetic I used in this short and SUGI. Give it a listen on YouTube here, and check out his other music while you're at it: https://youtube.com/@__jebbe

An animation adaptation of BigiGts's comic with the same title featuring Sakamata Chloe.

Hello everyone~!I made an animation but I can't upload the entirety of it on Youtube so I decided uploaded the full video here. I hope you all enjoy watching it~ Sakamata Chloe, one of the members and the intern/cleaner of the "secret" organization HoloX, had just finished her livestream and decided to finally do what she loves the most - sleeping and doing nothing at all!Laplus, the actual leader of the organization, and Lui, another member and the acting leader, was so fed up with her messiness and tried to force her to clean her room (which is so messy that it looks like a storm had passed through it) because their senior Sora which she admires so much would be coming to visit them but Chloe locked her room afterwards, making them unable to tell if she's actually cleaning or not.Seeking the help of Koyori, they try to ask her for something which could help them spy and monitor Chloe and check if she is cleaning her room. As she introduces a "multiversal rift machine that let's you see any part of the world", what could go wrong? This video is an adaptation from BigiGts's comic with the same name. I was inspired by their comic and BigiGts themselves suggested that we do a bit of an art trade so I made an adaptation of their comic (while featuring the art they made for it in the credits)! This is also a thank you for them on making those MiSide artworks (which unfortunately, I am still burned-out to continue for now so it might take a while before I return to it).I had to split the animation into 2 parts because the story is very long. This might be one of the challenging animations that I made for a while as I needed to animate five separate characters, use some heavy effects (which causes so much lag and sometimes crashed MMD on my "potato" laptop), and specifically making Chloe's messy room (which took me more than a week to make an edit of).My apologies of there isn't a lot of size scenes here since it is mostly about the story. The 2nd part will probably focus and have more size scenes. If you like my videos and wanted to show some support, you can support me on my Patreon, Subscribestar or Ko-fi. How exactly did Callie start acting like a dog?

Content warning: Pet Play and Mind Control This is an animated adaptation of the first three renders of my Puppy Callie comic series that I starts a couple of months ago. It started out as a single image, but ended up becoming more popular than I anticipated, so I began making more installments. Eventually, I decided to turn the first three parts of the series into an animated short. You can check out all of the follow-up parts over on Bluesky or on my new Itaku page, where I have them all conveniently sorted into one gallery. Asset credits are available at the end of the animation.
