With over 150 animators, we present to you Azumanga Daioh: Reanimated!

Spanning years of hard work and over 150 animators, we present to you Azumanga Daioh Reanimated! Complete with new visuals, new gags, and an immense amount of love and creativity from the animators. We cherish forever Azumanga Daioh, and present this reanimation project as a means to show our appreciation to Kiyohiko Azuma and his illustrious work. Darrow_glass, editor and owner’s note: Thank you so much to everyone who worked on this project. This took a lot of time and effort and I couldn't have done it without the wonderful work the animators did and their constant improvement over the years. Thanks as well to Chorata who let me take over the project in the second half of its lifespan, it was an amazing project to inherit and editing the entire thing felt like a culmination of my studies and personal work. GREEDY [Doctor Steel Fan Animation]

This is what it's like chatting with my friends on an average discord call.

This video was a first of mine, my first true attempt at animation. Through weeks of sleepless work i'm more than happy to present this video inspired by Sr Pelo's work! I apologize for my shit voice acting, again a first time for me, everyone else did great. This video is dedicated to my close group of friends, they mean the world to me and I wanted to show them my appreciation with a cartoon, more than happy with their participation in the project. A thing to note is that this was originally three videos but with some help we successfully stitched them together to become one. The characters seen in this video, outside of Goo-Gee, belongs to my friends, I do not claim ownership of them.

This is what I was able to make before my SSD corrupted and could no longer finish it. It is a bunch of stiched-together previews I found and was able to recover. Though it was never truly finished, I'm still immensely proud of it. This song has been my all-time favorite fnf mod song and nothing has ever come close. This was made as a love letter and a token of appreciation. Also this project started all the way back in 2022 and I didn't know how to draw Boyfriend back then lol. I probably still don't.

Our first computer with a CD-ROM drive. As a pack-in title there was an intriguing game with the Title "King's Quest". The cover had a beautiful, Disney-Style Illustration and it promised grand adventures in a land filled with fantasy and funny characters. Little did we know, the infamous Boogeyman from Chapter 4 would haunt our dreams for the rest of our childhood. However, what the game DID do for me was make me want to be an animator. But not for Disney or Dreamworks, no. There was an exciting new Medium in CD-ROM's and it needed animation and, so i thought, it all would be traditionally hand-drawn. Well, only a couple of years later the multimedia craze was over and realtime 3D took over the gaming sphere. However, i never forgot King's Quest and my early dreams of being an animator for a company like Sierra. So finally i made the childhood dream come true and produced this little tribute. With much love and appreciation to Roberta Williams, Lorelei Shannon and Marc Hudgins, whos character design sheets i copied rigulously as a 12 year old. A brief parody based on a joke that may have been too obvious to make.

A short, silly something I animated in Blender (4.1). It's a small parody based on a joke that was seemingly too obvious to do much with (that being "Anaconda" and the Pokémon Sandaconda, if you didn't figure it out already). The 3-second-long hook from Anaconda is apparently enough to trigger some copyright bulldust, so I decided to make a bootleg version to bypass that. Newgrounds seems to have a thing against bootleg music, though. Well, you'll just have to settle with this "unlicensed" bootleg, it's better than dealing with copyright mumbo jumbo. I'm not trashing on Gardevoir or something, so keep your shirts on. Lyleen does need some appreciation, though. Rights/Credit to their respective owners.

This is an animation I made recently of the streamer: EtsuNamu on Twitch. I've been watching her content live for 5 months now and 2 years of her reaction content. The community there has been so welcoming that I even got the opportunity to design the art for her channel points. As a token of my appreciation, I decided to combine some clips and form the idea for this animation: The NAMU PUNCH!!!!!

Appreciation

more of that animation i made a while back

Erm... last time i uploaded this it was like 10 seconds of animation and it got like blammed or whatever... this is after a month of me working on it and animation sure is hard but it gives me an appreciation for indie animators and one man teams. Also gives me more of an understanding on how action poses and key frames work. I sure am learning a lot like a good little artist. No references have been used except for me right hand for specific hand positions. every pose you see is from memory and i struggled to draw out a lot of these scenarios and kept re-drawing them until it looked right. the only thing i really do dislike are the impact frames as i do not really understand how they work. I also suck at walk cycles cuz i never really draw my funny characters walking unless it's having one foot forward. drawing front facing and full one sided versions of the characters was extremely weird due to my art style making the legs weirdly fat/thick, so body proportions and character profiles are definitely something i have to work on. Thanks for reading, please give me lots of criticism and tips. I truly do appreciate your time and words.(maybe drawing frame by frame was a mistake? do indie animators still animate this way? i was thinking on trying rigs after this to see if i can to it better)

Support me <a href="http://www.patreon.com/wafellmaker" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">www.patreon.com/wafellmaker</a> Well here we are; The STPPM finale. I had so so so much fun with this project. I'm Genuinely so happy with how the finale turned out. I will leave below another little diary entry about this episode. I understand my pipeline - release infrequency does not please the YouTube algorithm, and I know of strategies I could employ to better my odds. (making smaller, easier projects, animating trending topics, etc) I believe while these strategies would better my chances of getting my art out there, they would make me disappointed in myself as an artist. I've made the conscious decision to take the hard route to make me happy with what I'm doing, even if my work is less publicly 'successful.' Despite knowing all of this, it is still extremely disheartening to spend months and months on an episode, only to release it and see it gain zero traction. So disheartening that it actually had me seriously consider giving up on Super Turbo Power Punch MAXED after episode 2. I am so glad I didn't. I am so glad I finished this series. I believe it to be something truly special to me. But before I get ahead of myself, lets talk about episode 5. This chat may leak into topics across the whole series, as at the time of writing this I just watched the series as a whole, and feelings towards STPPM as a whole certainly are flowing. Kal's redesign was planned in the script. But I didn't actually have a plan for what I wanted him to look like when he became the Keeper of Radness. I waited until I got to Damian's death before modeling Kal. I really like Kals new design. The black belt caused me some headache, but I think the result was worth it. I really like a lot of the dialog between Kal and Korloc in this episode. It's a lot of high inspired confrontational silliness. Stuff I like to imagine Kal picked up across all of his movie watching both in the vision realm and over the course of his childhood. I watched a lot of Kung-fu movies as a child. Which of course was accompanied with all kinds of action movies of all way shapes and forms. Basically everything Jet Li, Fearless, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The One, The Protector, Ong Bak, Matrix,. I could go on and on. Martial arts always attracted my interest as I am a huge action fan. My family means a great deal to me, and while I have always and continue to connect with different members of my family over different things, I spent a great portion of time watching these films with my Dad. My Dad was hugely involved in my childhood and is unquestionably the culprit in injecting an appreciation for kung fu movies into my life. (Hey what do you know, The effect you have on others, eh?) Anyways, kung fu movies hold a special place in my heart, and I thank my dad for that. The shot towards the end of Episode 4 of Kal and Damian watching Kung fu movies in the vision realm reminds me of those days with my dad. huddled in front of the family TV rewinding the VHS to watch the cool fight scene once more. A lot of Kal's kung fu is just him waving his hands around. As though all he did was perceive kung fu fights through TV rather than being trained seriously. Because that's exactly what he did. There was a time when I was a kid I used to think I could be a master just by watching TV. But after just 10 minutes of jumping around doing kung fu in the backyard, it was always easier to just go inside to watch more kung fu and daydream, much like my fellow enthusiast Kal. Kal takes his 'training' much more seriously than I ever did. But the inspiration for his character was a hyper-dramatic version of my younger self. A caricature of the 'I watch kung fu movies I know what im doing' type. The fact we did not see the lessons Kal learned in the movies directly was perhaps a strange choice for the story. It was however a conscious decision for the overall message and theme. We learn from the influences around us. Of those influences, it's our jobs as people to filter and deduce what is worth passing on to others, and what we can let go of. With this in mind, it doesn't matter what specific influences did what to Kal directly. Kal made the decision that of everything he's learned,. Being Rad is whats worth passing on. I feel I could talk all day about the nitty gritty but a lot of it is pretty self-explanatory as to what I was going for, so I leave it to you! I started writing a script for my next project back in August of 2024. I plan to start working on my new project very soon. But fear not, Another action packed story is coming. Thanks again everyone for your patience, and your loving support through my journey. I love you all dearly. A short birthday music video to Gruff, my most favorite ACNH villager.

Belated Happy Birthday to Gruff! Gruff is my most favorite villager from the Animal Crossing franchise, since I started playing my first Animal Crossing game. Gruff is a sophisticated goat who loves rock music and dark, edgy fashion. So the best way to show my love and appreciation for him is to feature him performing in a rock concert. I know Gruff's birthday was last August 29, which means I'm 2 weeks late to post this. The animation was put on hold several times due to work, the ongoing renovation of our home, errands needed to be done and problems piled up along the way that needed to be resolved. But despite the hindrances, I'm glad I was able to finish this animation, it's better than not having it done at all. I hope you enjoy this short music video!
