An insomniac boy hears weird noises coming from his parents' room. What could it be?

This is a short flm that I created back in 2019. It's by far my most laborious project, the one that took me the longest time to complete. I tried to combine different ideas and aesthetics that I had explored in my previous projects. This film, in a way, generated another film that I've also posted here on Newgrounds, "Please Send Me My Award Again": <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1024638">https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1024638</a> - it's a film about an award that I won for this film. By the way, I've asked in the forum if I'm breaking any rules by posting this film here (because of some of the things that happen in the film, I won't say what things in case you're reading this before watching the film). It seems that I'm not, but if I am, please don't ban me from Newgrounds, I really like it here. Just get the video removed, I'll understand. Oh, and I do have a license for the music in the film that isn't royalty-free ("Black Force Domain", by Krisiun. Fantastic death metal band from Brazil). hello it's me JB, so for flash forward I wanted to show you my old newgrounds parody skills and show how good I am at mimicking 21/22 Year Old Tom Fulp yeah somehow I can do it really well, I mean it looks like crap and it's easy to recreate and mimic, but I know you Tom are in your 40s, anyway I like to mock your stuff it's a punching bag for me except the behemoth those games I should play also thanks for helping indie games be a thing, also Tom you have a copy of the FLA of Pico's SchoolQ/AWho The Foe is Pauly?Pauly is like the alter ego of my oc on other platforms meant for a mature but not edgy audience so think of him as the opposite of Pico in terms of violence so instead of killing people you tame them or something like that Pauly is a newgrounds dot com character exclusive. How Did you pull this off?So I used Jpexs and the Pico 2 files that mr. mindchamber sent which had the original FLA for Pico's School well not the 1999 but close enough from 2000 named school53.fla and I used JPEXS flash decompiler to learn how to use buttons and fontsso here's the fonts used:Arial BoldBeeknees ITCBarney ttnorm That's All. -JB

The Russian Bat ExperimentDuring the Cold War, Soviet scientists in Magadan began experiments weaponizing nature itself. They wanted to spread deadly viruses over enemy borders using small animals as carriers. The laboratory-made viruses were so potent that they killed most animals instantly, which presented a logical challenge for the scientists... to find a vector that could survive the virus when humans could not. They decided to try vampire bats. These were ideal creatures because they were accustomed to feasting on the blood of diseased and dead animals and had natural immunity to some of the manufactured viruses’ deadliest features.Unfortunately, these tropical bats could not survive the brutal Russian winter, even in a controlled environment. The project stalled until they could breed a new type of resilient vampire bat. One with thick fur, a robust constitution, and an increased blood storage capacity. Augmented by Pleistocene gene splicing and radiation exposure, the scientists produced twelve abnormally large vampire bats suitable for the toughest climates. Despite their size and density, when they were injected with the deadly virus these genetic monsters withered and died. All except one. A very special bat. This test subject was much larger than the others. Perhaps that is why he could endure the deadly chemicals injected into his veins. His oily wings were heavy and the thick leather membrane squeaked when he splayed his clawed fingers. His belly was swollen and he breathed in long, loud gasps. Most horrifying of all and unlike any bat every recorded, this creature could speak. He called himself HUGO.The scientists, terrified yet driven by the overmastering spell of discovery, attempted to train Hugo. They spoke to him and taught him the rudiments of reading and writing. In time, he could carry a conversation with his “hosts” as he called them. When he performed his tasks well he was rewarded with blood that was drawn from political prisoners in the Gulag and stored in huge vats. Hugo drank, and drank, and drank. The more blood he took in, the more he needed. He demanded more and refused to cooperate with the training regimen. Eventually he reversed the scientists’ role. Instead of rewarding him with blood when he performed to their expectations, he had trained them to provide blood in exchange for compliance. When he was interrogated by intelligence officials about his creators Hugo laughed, and in a guttural voice, sticky and wet, he called the researchers “little meat packets.”Once, when looking at a picture of the night sky, Hugo spoke his true mind. He wanted to be set free from the laboratory so he might “taste all the kinds of blood in the world.” “Let me fly,” he Demanded in tone that hinted of mockery and threat. “You keep me here. You deprive me. You starve me.”The overseers of the project had condemned the project long before. The plans to disperse viruses through animal vectors was deemed unreasonably dangerous. They had only allowed Hugo to exist thus far out of sheer, horrified curiosity. Despite the scientific opportunities such a creature presented, authorities commanded Hugo’s termination. An execution squad armed with rifles marched into the laboratory with orders to arrest the scientists and destroy all evidence of their abominable work. But they were too late. The entire research staff was dead. They lay curled in contorted positions, drained, shrink wrapped in their own pallid skin and collapsing inward like emptied sacks. Hugo had vanished, but before he left he had scrawled with the tip of his claw on the outside of the facility... “Fresh blood tastes best.”Reports arrived two days later from the nearest Gulag. All of the prisoners and guards were reduced to leathery husks. Not a single drop of blood remained in their veins. Victims were found all along the so-called “Road of Bones”, the path Hugo had taken on his way into the heartland of Russia. Then, suddenly, in the deep cold of winter, the killings stopped. The rampage ended.Few records survived the purges, but one NKVD memo marked “Not for Distribution” declared the “Experiment was Contained.” Decades passed in relative silence. Rumors were squashed with ridicule. Families of the decedents were paid off or threatened into silence. “Hugo” became a boogeyman to frighten unruly children. That was, until two years ago when a derelict fishing trawler was found on Turkey’s Black Sea coast. Inside, every crewman was dead. Pale, their veins collapsed, drained of blood. Their skeletons were wrapped in dry skin, twisted into positions of eternal agony. Only one piece of evidence hinted at the cause. Scratched into the rusted iron hull of the ship were the words:“Hugo is Famished”.......................... Spread this creepypasta far and wide! Animation Storytime about the time I broke my arm from going on Heelys at work.

I don't know about you, but I for one LOVE inflicting grevious bodily harm on myself in grimly predictable ways. So when I remembered that Heelys are a thing that exist, I HAD to buy a pair and experience the joy that was so crassly robbed of me by my nafarious saftey-concious parents. It took eight days for me to hurt myself bad enough to have to go to the hospital. Nice. Anyway I hope you like this tale of my Very Cool and Normal Exploits. It took 10 months and I'm very tired so I no longer know what to write here. I was gonna do a breakdown of ALL the anime I watched while animating this one but it ended up being a lot more anime than I expected so I'll do this as a blog post seperately. Huge thanks to MJ for dealing with my nonsense and doing such a dope job on sound design, ily bestie!

EUGENE'S SHOW! - Deal with the Rat

What’s the time?

The first episodes I ever worked on for Cyanide & Happiness, 2015

Thus marks the beginning of the end of my animatic uploads, as I dive into episode segments that I've worked on for the Cyanide &amp; Happiness Show. There's layers to the delays on this! I actually initially assembled this very .fla file while I was in the studio facing layoffs for the first time, and I was let go before I could complete it. Now that I've recovered my work hard drive, I can pick up where I left off archiving my work, and my history with Explosm. At the time that I was assigned to work on Bill Brass, I was brand-spanking new at this whole thing. I had made an audition for them, then they gave me a scenario to test what I could do, and then they assigned me a couple of promo's to animatic for the show. One of which was of a stickman swallowing the camera, and we enter through his esophagus and out his asshole where he had the "Cyanide &amp; Happiness Show: Season Too!" logo at the ready by his buttcheeks. The other promo, which was more involved, was <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9A04LB7vU4E" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">this brief little ad.</a>. These were my functional tests to see if I could keep up with feedback and deadlines. With the ads complete, Season Too was getting ready to wrap up, so they tacked me onto the Bob Ross segment of "Too Many Cops" and all over the place in "Too Much History" I struggled for a little bit with getting clear imagery up for some shots in the "Ghost of History's Past" segment, so Beth Del Rosario stepped up and helped me out, because she's incredible at what she does. She saved my ass a lot through Season Three, Purgatony, and she knocks out all of her work in very quick order. I will always feel bad about like not "getting it" fast enough to the point that others needed to dive in and help me out. That's the kinda guilt that makes me want to improve so that doesn't happen again, but as embarrassed as I was that I NEEDED help, I am equally grateful that the Explosm team could help when they were able. They didn't let me drown, and based on what I've been hearing from other creative gigs with other studios, it makes it seem like that's a rare grace in the industry. Because there's been such a gap between this part's assembly and the next part, expect there to be some changes when the Part 2 goes up. This'll wrap up the "Too Much History" Episode, and that'd be it for Season Too. Then, I got a couple of segments from Season Three to upload. A few things from Season Four. And then the only animatics that'll be left are the more recent shorts that I've been working on as a contractor from this year! But I'm trying to get this old stuff archived. It's just one less thing left to do before I move onto newer, more colorful, more original, less stick-figury, more challenging-to-make content that's more my own. More for you! Not blueprints from bygone eras. Stay tuned, and thanks for watching! The 28th Cyanide & Happiness Short I've Worked On!

This is owned by Explosm Entertainment, but I drew and animated everything here! This is an animatic, not the final animation, but if you're interested in how it turned out, click here to watch The Cookie Jar on YouTube! <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39iS_tJushY" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39iS_tJushY</a> This one went through a couple of revisions before it came out the way it did, but I loved this one. I PULVERIZED the audioscape with Gundam references, in sound effects for the time machine and using a track from the 08th MS Team as temp music. Seemed like dire, doomy sci-fi music and fitting for the theme. There used to be a scene between the kid's shocked expression upon learning he's him from the future and the "Now gimme all those cookies" turnaround, where the music got all sad and piano-keyed as the time-traveler pleaded and begged him to not take the cookies and turn his life around, "You have to believe me...Please!" before procuring his gun and delivering his line "Now gimme all those cookies." At the time, I liked the mood-swingy nature of him, because he looked like a crazy person to me, but I agree it was a good idea to cut it out. I loved the time-travelers design- I can't remember if he was custom made for the short or if he was a model re-used from something we've done before, but I was told to specifically design him that way. The time machine I made up on the fly, it's pretty much just a futuristic phone booth, lol. I got the bowling-ball hole designs from 80s-90s animes I grew up watching as a kid and snuck them into his bionic eye to make it look even more futuristic. Directed By: Connor Murphy

Silly things my friend has done in childhood?? Yes, Please! Everyone has had a childhood, so many funny stories and good memories have come out of that time in our lives. These are just a few stupid/silly things we've done and believed as kids. They're so, so many more like this that I can remember. We are still friends to this day today; He still does some outrageously funny things. Thank you very much for sticking around. Sorry, for not uploading for just a long period. Space, you fly, you explore, blow stuff up. I've seen it so many times. Time to raise the bar. In this thing you are not going to fly around a universe. In this thing - you gonna fly BEYOND the universe. Or if you want to get technical - the space between Universes. An endless plane of twilight, made out of echoes and shards of other universes and realities. The space beyond space. A vibrant canvas, on which all the realities are painted. Full of wonders and horrors. Ever seen that movie "Event Horizon"? I've been always curious about that place, that the ship went through, that other, twisted dimension. Well, if everything goes as planed - you might have an opportunity to find out. Or at least, see and experience my vision of it. I want to throw the player in Event Horizon movie setting. There's not a lot of those on the market. I mean sure, Dead Space, newest Alien and such. But they are all FPS,shooters or survival horrors. And most of them are story-on-rails. I don't like that. And I want to change that. I want to explore the horror. Map it. Planets exploration, blowing ships up, trading, gearing up. Its the same form, the same matrix over and over with little to no change. I want to evolve the genre, enrich it with new materials. Experiment. [EXTRA TAGS]

Fly's Life : Bad Logic

Promo Short/Trailer for a mind bending feature length animated hell ride

This is a 5-minute promo trailer for my independent animated feature film “When Black Birds Fly”. I animated it completely by myself over the past two years or so. I financed it out of pocket (although with some help from Ruby LaRocca) without the aid of kickstarter, indiegogo or any other social networking illuminati reptilian prostitution ring. I don’t have rich parents or fancy big money investors. It’s not a remake, throw-back, homage, slasher, zombie, vampire or any other stereotypical horror movie filler crap designed to try and trick you into renting/buying it from whatever corporate sleaze fuck merchant cunt, who doesn’t give a fuck about art or filmmaking. It’s a completely original one of a kind experience that you won’t find anywhere else, and because of that, it’s not going to be for everyone and I accept those consequences! I am going solo on this one and don’t have any sort of distribution in place just yet. I’m about 85% done with the film, mostly just editing/sound mixing and cleaning up bad animation at this point. I should be done by the end of the year BUT I’m really struggling to pay the bills. I live alone in a small shit sack in the middle of woods PA in an old age community (no I’m not eldery, though I’m grumpy like I am) and find inventive ways to pay the bills every month, but the older I get the harder it gets to invent ways to find money to do this shit every day! So if you enjoy this kind of balls-to-wall psychotic freak out animation, then please, please, PLEASE consider either buying something from my store or just donating if you’re a kind god-loving/fearing/hating/punching soul! A slightly longer version of this trailer first premiered at Slaughter In Syracuse put on by Beneath The Underground &amp; Vultra Video in May 2014, I cut it down to 5 minutes to try and make it easier to watch. If you work for any film festivals, magazines, websites or anything else of the sort that can help me get this out there, please contact me! I’m much nicer than the conspiracy theory ranting bag headed lunatic I make myself out to be on the internet ;) Store: <a href="http://www.draconianfilms.com/store.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://www.draconianfilms.com/store.html</a> Paypal donations: <a href="http://www.deadlyproductionsrecords.com/donations.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://www.deadlyproductionsrecords.com/donations.html</a> This film stars such wonderful actor/actress people as: Brandon Slagle

ScreamerClauz Rough Plot outline: Heaven is a beautiful, clean suburban paradise. Every block is populated by lush trees and lovely row homes. People are free to roam and do whatever they please, as long as they follow one simple rule: DO NOT communicate with “The Evil One” that dwells on the other side of a giant wall that circles the town, which is under 24 hour surveillance by a team of soldiers wearing gas masks. The ruler of the town is a man named Caine, who plasters images of himself all around, insisting that his citizens trust and love him. A small child becomes obsessed with the seemingly increasing flocks of black birds that populate the town. One day after chasing one he discovers a talking kitten with a broken leg, who begs Marius and his classmate Eden to crawl through a hole in the wall to help her. The kids decide to do it and she repays them by introducing them to a brightly colored fruit that grows wildly on the other side of the wall. After consuming it the kitten brings them to meet the Evil One, who attempts to teach them the forbidden knowledge that Caine is hiding from them all. Kyle is on walk through the forest with his assistant, Emi. An unexpected storm has Kyle lead to a hunter's bar a few miles from whence he and Emi where. The storm worsens and they have to stay at the bar until it passes, because Emi cannot fly in the rain, and Kyle, being blind, would not get very far on his own. While the two wade out the storm, an unknown guest walks up to Kyle and decides to get to know him. Lixes, an uberhog, has become an ally of Kyle. This is only the beginning of until Kyle reaches his brother, Matt. Kyle and Emi belong to me.
Lixes belongs to GGG(GirlsGangsGirls as known on DeviatART).
