Dotty sinks on a golden road & meets the 8 Buddhist Precepts in The Sinking Road Village.

Hello, Newgrounds, O-ho-HONK!!🤡 You may be wondering "Why didn't you upload this a month ago when you completed this thing?!" Well... I tried, but it didn't seem like Newgrounds really liked it at the time because it kept failing LMAO, so here it is now, thank y'all for your patience!! 💚-------------------Originally uploaded on YouTube July 21st & in higher quality !!"Dotty Duette, after forgetting the tomatoes for her tomato soup, gets pushed into the waters to drown by an unknown assailant, where she then mysteriously get attached to a magical golden road which drags her down to the underwater "Sinking Road Village". Once there, she meets the embodiment's of the 8 Buddhist Precepts, some welcoming her and making her feel right at home until the road comes back down for her, and some, like the infamous 1st Precept, who's out for her blood." ★ Welcome to The Sinking Road Village!! ★"Sinking Road" is a 2D Indie-Animated Movie animated entirely by one person; Me, Baphomet the Clown!Taking place in the Universe of Dwurm, All the Characters involved are Clown-like, Humanoid Slug Aliens known as "Dumblotraights", This is only one of MANY Dwurm-Stories to be brought to life in a feature film, but "Sinking Road" is #1 of them all!! 🤡 I began work on Sinking Road back in the end of April of 2020 after a dream I had, this means the movie has been in almost constant development for 6+ years, that's why I hope it was worth the wait! Nothing prompted me to make this but pure will-power & my love for animation, & I gained inspiration from works like Cuphead, 1951's Alice in Wonderland & Land of the Lustrous! I had many times where I thought I wasn't going to make it, but I did it, and I'm beyond proud of myself.♥ ♥ I just want to take this moment to say THANK YOU to my AMAZING Voice Actors & The Amazing Support I've gotten from My Fiancé, Family, Friends & YOU, My Community, in Support of my First-Ever Independent FILM!! 💚 I seriously would not have been able to complete this film had I not had the support from ALL OF YOU!! I owe you all my life!! 💚 🕊️ & During the production, my Little Sister, Milly, passed away in January of 2026, Rest in Peace, my amazing sister, I love you & miss you so much. 🩷-------------------------------------------------------------------🎨 ALL THE ANIMATIONS, CHARACTERS, ART & MUSIC(*) WAS MADE & CREATED BY ME!![ Moa "Baphomet The Clown" Olsson, aka. Warning: Flashing Lights

Archive #001.095_DT

Research organised and conducted by RGT Ltd. A recovered record of lost media from 2019 which is a homage to early flash game culture. It was found today, though despite restoration attempts the record is still highly corrupted. An original descriptor was attached to the record which reads:"Images used in this video were illustrated by me, and inspired by, "Submachine", "Desolation: Stages of Anxiety", & "The Sagittarian" Archive #001.095_DT____________________________________________________________Site Visit Notes:Site observations concluded total destruction of premises.Site is understood to be a decommissioned commercial property, evidenced by FF&E.Site is believed to have been desolate prior to collapse based on the presence of rot anddormant mould. Temporal inconsistency warrants further investigation. Luminol tests revealed trace quantities of blood within the rubble. Despite this, nobodies were recovered. Subsequently tests rendered the site presently devoid of life.Noted: Structural anomaly observed in the foundational wall traces, which suggest anunusual corridor-dominated floor plan. Initial causality and emergence traces pending. *Archive is incomplete Uploader's Note:

All music and visuals are created by me - this applies to all subsequent posts and uploads. OVERDUB

a pod of bots made a harsh landing on the red planet

A thing I wrote that I thought it would be cool to read over some footage that would accompany the theme. The soundscape came from me screwing around in Audacity for 15 or so minutes, and I thought it had a similar theme to the writing. I was working on Santa Smoke Prologue and Globetrotter when friend of mine Noah who was interested in collaborating at the time offered his skills, and I had the idea of painting a mental picture for him and having him recreate it in Unreal engine because he was learning to use it at the time. Clearly, Microsoft Sam read the script rather than myself, for two reasons, one being I have not found the confidence in recent times to try spoken word, and I've been really down in the dumps for 3 weeks recovering from a screwed up surgery. Finally started to move around more a couple days ago, ended up (gross/bloody warning): s̶p̶l̶i̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ o̶p̶e̶n̶ a̶ b̶i̶t̶ a̶n̶d̶ b̶l̶e̶e̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ a̶l̶l̶ o̶v̶e̶r̶ m̶y̶s̶e̶l̶f̶ s̶o̶ I̶ h̶a̶d̶ t̶o̶ g̶o̶ t̶o̶ t̶h̶e̶ d̶o̶c̶t̶o̶r̶ t̶o̶ g̶e̶t̶ c̶l̶o̶s̶e̶d̶ b̶a̶c̶k̶ u̶p̶. Mentally drained from a week of agony and following weeks of boredom and insanity, and 3 moderate complications later, I caved and spent a fair bit of time scrolling social media (twitter and youtube), something I try strongly to avoid. It got the best of me and I felt even more miserable from doing nothing, to a point the day after I came back from the doctor (so 3 days ago) that I decided I am going to get back on the computer and finish up some old crap ive been working on. So I put this together, hosted a modded Minecraft server for my friends to play on with customized world generation and perfected configs, and made that little game about the philosophy of self destructive behaviour, insanity, and the internet.
Script:

a pod of bots made a harsh landing on the red planet
the immortal rover sustained a head injury
doomed to live forever with amnesia and limited problem solving skills
merciful would be water, on the brain, but it's bone dry round these parts
biomechanical superbeings form a roaming grouphome
home away from home, it seems new everywhere they go
little do the rovers realize, they're like half blind field mice
retracing the circumference of a small crater, made by their impact

oh, they're hardly poor souls
after all, ignorance is bliss
life goes on

one bot, nicknamed tom servo, not particularly capable of escaping small craters or repairing broken hardware, lost the ability to speak, and thereby the ability to call for help or talk sense into his handicapped crewmates, but is otherwise entirely conscious and unharmed

it's going to be a long life for tom servo

I used DaVinci Resolve because that's what I've got for video editing, my dad bought some kind of big package and anyways I have a copy, but I am very inexperienced with it, I apologize if anything is wrong with it from professional editor standpoint. I hit the target for what my vision on this project was, and it was cool to work together with someone on something, made this a quick and easy project even though the pieces sat in a folder for like a month. I have spent more effort on this description than what I created ok done bye

Once again, I was the first one to make a battle of Newgrounds vs Youtube. Why has everyone yet to make this before? This holiday is mostly about how awesome Newgrounds is. So what if I do that by shitting on Youtube? Newgrounds is so much better than Youtube. But here's my problem about this Movie before anyone explains it to me. This movie might be a little too hateful for youtube. I mean, that's what I was trying to do. I wanted to be like Garth Ennis. But a lot of people might hate me for this. This holiday is not about what website is better. It’s not about how broken Youtube is and how they treat their creators. It's all about Pico. Pico is cool. We can make Pico anything we want. He and also everything that makes Newgrounds so tremendous and better than Youtube. But it also used to be Tom's birthday, but not anymore. HAPPY LAYE BIRTHDAY! If you didn’t know, in the background, it shows all the things I hate about youtube. Seriously, I really hate what's on the wall. I was going to put SMG4 on the wall, but that would be too mean. I don’t hate his channel, I just stop watching it, because of Mario and Meggy, and the fans ruin the channel for me. I wish there were more things I could add to the wall.I should have put a better MLP thing on the wall because it ruins youtube for me. Good thing it dies down. Flumpty Bumpty and Birthday Boy Blam are technically not Newgrounds characters…YET. But they will be if @JoneBro uploads all the games on this website. I mean, they probably fit really well here and everyone would love them. Hay, @JoneBro, can you please upload the ONAF games here? Not all of them, just one game each week. I’m begging you, people are going to think I’m stupid because of this. CUM ON! Here is why I think Newgrounds is better than Youtube:Age:Newgrounds is one of the oldest websites on the internet, so it has seen shit. From the rise of Facebook and the fall of MySpace.com, Newgrounds was there watching, and laughing. NG is 27 years old. Youtube is 17 years old, that was the same age I was when I was drawing porn. Style:Newgrounds as always had a distinct style. Having a personality of its own. It’s been changed to look a little more simple over the years. EVEN REMOVING THE TANK LOGO! But still, keep the style that it always is. You know what it is when you first see it.Youtube looks okay. It looks simple. But what's the personality? Mascots:Soulless empty hollow shells, selling us crap we don't need, that's the mascot. But not the Mascots on Newgrounds. No. On the Tank logo, The mascot was mostly the tank, then the rider, but soon the Tankman got a personality. Newgrounds have a lot of mascots. Each has its own thing that makes them unique. You can even have some of them and make videos of them. But mostly the mascot for this holiday is Pico.Youtube never had a Mascot. No characters that I would love or make videos of. No real original holidays. (I think).Wait, maybe you are the Mascot of Youtube. Maybe we are the Soulless empty hollow shells, selling crap other people don't need. Maybe I’m the reason why PT was canceled. Maybe Guillermo del toro-AND THAT’S WHY KONAMI IS ONE OF THE BEST GAMING COMPANIES OF ALL TIME! SUB TO COMPLETIONIST. Content:Newgrounds has animated Movies, WEB GAMES (one of the best places for them), music/audio, artworks, AND news/blogs. But it doesn't stop just there. There's a form where people can have Arguments, a chat room like Discord but with no creeps, a radio that plays ONE SONG, a wiki about the website history, and a download page that lets you download wallpapers and flash loaders that haven’t updated since 2012. Hay, I got this NG stop motion opening, so I don’t know, you could put it there if you want. I’m ok with it.Youtube only has videos… that’s it!? ONLY VIDEOS!? YOU: “ It’s a website about watching videos. WHAT ELSE ARE THEY GONNA HAVE!? ” Reviews? Blogs? A shop? (Oh, they have that. Newgrounds used to have a shop, I wonder what happen to it?), I know they have blog posts, but they're just to give quick updates. They now have posted and they work fine. You have to be a little popular to do that.I think there should be a separate page on YouTube for reviews of videos. People would write big video reviews blogs and also have a link to them so people can also watch them. And there could be ads next to the reviews so the writers can make some catch off of their writing. People can put hard work into writing reviews to help creators or views become better…or just make fun of them for giggles. I like to do both.Newgrounds just have more stuff. A lot. People might want less, but can you play games on Youtube? Stuff fillers buttons:Newgrounds has great fillers and Options to customize to find content better. Likes range from content that was made today or years ago. There’s an opinion for sorting it by date, score, or views.Categories from different genres.YouTube has this too, but Newgrounds is more colorful. You know what, Age Rating:Newgrounds has an age rating system that is the same one used for video games. E for Everyone (not only for kids), Teens for Teens, M for Mature audience, and A for Perverts. With this system, the viewer/player will know if it’s appropriate for them before they watch it and their parents can't get mad. So you won’t watch a Pokémon animation about a kid with a brain tumor who stabs it with a knife Unless you want to see it, I do.Inside of a group of people deciding if you work age rating, you can do it yourself. This is a really good System and easy to understand, better the movie ratings. But if you miss the age rating, someone will fix it for you.On YouTube, there is no real rating. There are kids stuff, middle and adult. The kid's rating will get the video to be (MADE FOR KIDS), so the video will not have any comments, no saving the video to watch later, and no MiniPlayer. Are you fucking kidding me? Why the fuck would anyone make videos for kids if stuff like these is convenient!? Kids are not stupid babies, they play Call of Duty. Data is important and that’s why they use it. Who cares about collecting data on children, it’s long and not gonna do anything creepy, it’s not that bad. The government keeps track of us so we don’t do anything illegal. Kids use forks and knives to cut their food, but they can poke their eyes with it, but they won’t. Kids can fall off bikes and get hurt, that’s why they make sure they don’t do that, but if they do, they learn from it and shrug off the pain. I watched cartoons about Mario murdering everyone in the mushroom kingdom when I was younger than 13! I was playing flash games with guns and blood… I miss that.E is not for only kids, it’s for Everyone for every age. You shouldn’t restrict that. And not their adult stuff also called age-restricted content, probably some people would call it, good YouTube videos. This video is a little naughty but for a reason, they get age-restricted which means they won’t get that much money from it. The only rating you can make a decent earning is the middle ground, not too nascent for kids and not too edgy. I know there should be a lament of how far you can go, but videos might be demonetized for the stupidest reason that you did not intend. Youtube should have a rating on the thumbnail so the viewer would know ahead of time. Or the Youtuber could do it di t themselves. But on Newgrounds, they have solutions of tools to look at more movies, games, art, and music. They have an age rating tool that only gives you content with the age rating you want. So you won’t get content that is Rated A. Score Rating:YouTube used to have a score with the buttons, like and dislike, which shows if a video is good or not. This could teach the creator to get good. But now they removed the dislike button and score. Fucking pussy. So a video about hating gay people would only get likes. But if you ask me, it’s actually not that big of a dual that YouTube removed the dislike button. You can still comment your thoughts on the comments until they remove that…FUCKING CUNTS.On Newgrounds, they don’t even have a dislike button or a like button. Inside they have STARS! You can give a game, movie, art, or music a star score from 1 to 10. Not just not a simple thumbs up and down (UP YOUR ASS). You have to think about the score. Youtube used to have a star system, but remove it with a thumbs up and down, and remove the thumbs down. Review vs CommentWhen you make a review on Newgrounds, it will be the first thing you see when you go back to it, so you won’t forget you made it. And you can only make one, so no spamming. Your review will have your score rating for the content.Youtube comments kinda suck. Youtube should be more like Reddit comments. I don’t know if that should be a good thing, but here’s a video that explains this idea better. Also, lets the comments have a dislike number too. And maybe had ads banners in the comments so they could make some money there, so they can pay people to mod them or something. Shitposting:To prevent Newgrounds from being a dumping ground for garbage content like DeviantArt. They have a system called blaming. If a Flash or whatever has too many low scares, it will be removed from Newgrounds. This might sound mean, but it’s a way to save up space. And art and music just get ignored. Youtube, you can upload whatever you want, mostly, but it will never be seen. Even if it’s good, it’s hard to get noticed. How people will view your content. PORTAL:Every time you upload on Newgrounds, it will be at the top of the Portal. It’s where everyone can see anything New on Newgrounds and vote on it. And if it gets more positive votes, it will stayIt’s easy to get views on Newgrounds than on Youtube. How can anyone see your videos if you are new on Youtube? Algorithm:It’s what Youtube think you want, without you even telling them what you want.If the crater is not upleading that much because they're working hard on a new good video, the Algorithm will ignore them and they won’t get views. Copyright:Youtube is not In charge of copyright, it's the owner.I feel they should go a little easy on these creators. On Newgrounds, they advised to not use copyrighted music, but you're not making any money from it, so it's okay. Changes:If your video gets copyright climbed, you can edit out the copyrighted music with something else, but for Animation:Making animation is hard and takes a long time. It’s a fact. No, scratch that, making something GOOD is hard and take’s a long time, like good animation. Newgrounds understand this, you could take as long as you want to make something.Youtube, you need to keep uploading if it’s a real job that helps you pay for food or rent. But there is one thing that makes Newgrounds Superior to Youtube…NEWGROUNDS HAS PORN! Tits, ass, Dicks, and sometimes both in that order, Newgrounds got them. Youtube only has the bar medium on it. You can only do so little or not at all. But if you don’t want to see it, you can turn off the A rating if someone else is in the room. I hope you all enjoy this and happy Pico day. EDIT 5/30/2023Frontpage!? And two trophies!? Thank you, so much!
