Warning to Space Ghost fans: There's a worm in this.

And thus; the creation of the first fully animated cartoon featuring my boys! Catch some of their recently uploaded comics on here and on my Bluesky:Slank & Marx playlist on NEWGROUNDSSlank & Marx hashtag on BLUESKY Some context:I went on a huge Space Ghost Coast to Coast bender after joining an art collab on Newgrounds. My chosen character was Brak, since he looked kind of freaky and I had seen him SOMEWHERE before. Lo and behold, I go into a rabbit hole of all Space Ghost related media, because it's what I do every time I find out something exists. Learnt a bit about Adult Swim's and Cartoon Network's history in the process. At a random point in my daily agenda, I find an officially uploaded German dub of The Brak Show (specifically "The Eye" episode), to which I just thought "Oh boy...", but I was surprised at how well it holds up to the original version. Not BETTER, but a very well executed take on the characters' voices. One particular interaction between Brak and Zorak was particuarly funny to me, not just on its' own, but also in the way that it made funny pictures in my mind featuring my boys. And I was a bit burnt out on the Ape Escape animation I've been working on anyway, so I took a break from that by working on this every now and then, until it became a fully finished THING (wow!). I adore how incredibly offended Brak gets in that scene, which I felt was fitting for Slank, and Zorak is an absolute jackass in it, which I felt was especially fitting for Marx. The English subtitles aren't a direct copy of the original dialogue, but a translation of the German dub, just for fun (I have such a varied skillset!). I tried to stay somewhat faithful to it, either directly translating it or coming up with something else that has a similar effect. I'd link the original upload here, but as of writing this, I noticed that it's not available anymore. Yer on your own!

Ignorance is penis.

Another Twitter meme where you draw your comfort characters from a scene of A Goofy Movie. (I made it a 4:3 Ratio video to capture the Retroness.)

I have many comfort characters but it’s so hard to…

A Brak show parody

Zorak hits on Ashi and Brak laments life in the dump.

Zorak hits on Ashi and Brak laments life in the dump. It's the unexpected sequel to the crossover no one wanted. I did not ever think I would make a sequel to Samurai Brak, but at the start of this week I had an idea for an extra scene that would've been nice to include in the original, had on not made it a year ago. Basically, I had misremembered Brak saying the line "I wish my show wasn't cancelled" at the end of the final episode of The Brak Show, and I thought it would be hilarious to take that audio and animate Brak under a piece of cardboard in the rain while saying it, but the actual line is "I wish we weren't penguins and that our show wasn't cancelled" so my enthusiasm immediately went away since it wasn't what I wanted, and I knew I wouldn't be able to splice it good enough to work, but I pursued anyways because this was exactly what I was needing for my last cartoon of the year, something quick and stupid. So I kept playing with the audio splicing, and I got it to sound decent enough, I probably could've gotten it to sound a lot better if I had spent hours looking through audio of Brak for appropriate sounds but eh, that would've been too much effort for it to be worth it lol. So the splicing was okay enough for me to commit to animating it, and it would've been done after only 2 days, but then while animating it I got the idea to take the "hubba dubba" audio of Zorak fawning over Brak's two moms and animate him fawning over Ashi instead... and then her decapitating him ;) It was very funny in my head, and it's still funny to me watching it back but idk, maybe it's not as good as the original, but is any sequel ever? lol Also animating Ashi was a bitch. For starters, I actually had to get close to Samurai Jack's style, and that took more rough passes than I usually do. I was in a weird situation where I thought the drawings I did were good, especially for me, and they were even decent drawings of Ashi, but I just wasn't happy with them because they weren't 100% accurate to the show's style, but I realized, unlike the first Samurai Brak, that didn't really matter here, so I just went ahead and cleaned up what I had, and let me tell you, doing characters with no outlines is a pain. You would think it wouldn't be, but it is. It does look nice though. Zorak and Brak on the other hand were very fun to animate. Zorak especially is super fun to draw. Samurai Brak 2

Finally the mystery character in season 5 of Samurai Jack is revealed.

Finally the mystery character in season 5 of Samurai Jack is revealed. Inspired by this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/samuraijack/...
Audio from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yizuP... This was supposed to come out in October before my Halloween cartoon, but then I put it on the backburner when I realized I needed more time for my Halloween cartoon, and then that didn't get finished, so this was gonna be uploaded in November, after I finished another cartoon, but then I got sick and didn't finish that cartoon, and now I've finally finished this one 'cause it was easier to finish than the other one. Gonna be at least one more short cartoon before the end is out. Also yes I recreated (aka traced) footage from the actual episode. I figured it'd be safer than just straight up ripping the footage, plus the quality would've been noticeably different so, you know. LINKS Like my animations and want to know when a new one is out? Samurai Brak

So ever since I turned to the dark side, it's been basically impossible for me to not associate the concept of friendship with MLP, so when I was going through old Brak clips, I pretty much just HAD to do this This is the result of around 3 days of near constant working (With a lot of distractions, damn Charlie Brooker and Karl Pilkington to hell), though due to the rushed nature of it, it's hella messy! Wooo, ridiculously half-assed lipsyncing!

MLP: Friendship is Great

Those of you who know Brak off of Space Ghost will enjoy this. Those of you who hate Cream the Rabbit's voice will too. Best of all; the audio is off a cd! So it doesn't suck!!
