HellBlaze HQ) back when our sites were merged way back in 2006.. and from now on, you can also find all topics related to this series here as I was able to acquire the data for original HellBlaze Cafe forums (2004-2011), and merge it into Talk Nexus forums, and so, the two communities are now officially together once again. So, if you want to ask questions or discuss what's going on with the series and such, this is the place to be, as this is where the past, present and discussion of this series future can be found. P.S. If you are reading this notice and have already joined the forums, thank you, and your account has been validated, the reason you didn't get an email, is because I am ironing out some bugs from the conversion and merge of HBC's data with Talk Nexus. First, we thank everyone who banded together with us over many years to help see this project through to completion! We could not have done this without you! That's right! I've learned how to make music! This is one of many already finished songs that I've made for "Melodi," my very first legitimate actual real not joking video game project! "Melodi" tells the story of a malnourished and psychopathic elf girl named Melodi Ravenian, and is a character-driven game full of pixel art, animation and branching dialogue paths that lead you down various rabbit-holes and introduce you to various wacky and unsettling characters. In this terribly violent game, you'll meet a little stuffed cat, brought to life by a magical candle known as the Heartflame. This cat, who is a species of animated objects known as "The Branded," believes her name is "Brandy." Resident Evil's Chris Redfield has his own branded cereal! It's high in iron! .... litterally Okay, so I'm aware any jokes about Chris Redfield's unreasonably muscular body could be several years too late to really be funny but some friends and I came up with this idea some time ago and I happened to just stumble upon the original audio file lurking deep in one of my obscurely named folders and figured I'd eventually edit it and do something with the file ... WELL! With the whole 'house move' thing I'm going through I haven't had much time to work on bigger, better projects like Nothing to Fear .. that animation I occasionally post things about and been working on for absa-fucking-lootley-ages but just haven't had the time to focus on it properly. So sorry to those involved in the making of that animation! I'll have to something to show for it soon hopefully; I've been running into a fair few technical problems with that project so I needed to work on something else for a little bit so I can return with a fresh perspective and not rush it out. SOOO! Yea. I made this.... enjoy. Meet Seymour Evil: one of the starring characters of the upcoming series, Villainy.

This was originally a teaser for the series, but I've since re-branded it as the first of a series of "Police Interrogation" shorts. Here Seymour Evil is sat down and questioned about the details of his latest attempts at villainy.
"Attempts" is a key word here.

Villainy - P.I. #1

Early years
The late 1950s in London saw the term "RAVE" used to describe the "wild bohemian parties" of the Soho beatnik slt.[4] In 1958 Buddy Holly recorded the hit "Rave On," citing the madness and frenzy of a feeling and the desire for it to never end.[5] The word "rave" was later used in the burgeoning mod youth culture of the early 1960s as the way to describe any wild party in general. People who were gregarious party animals were described as "ravers". Pop musicians such as Steve Marriott of The Small Faces and Clare Willans were self-described "ravers". Presaging the word's subsequent 1980s association with electronic music, the word "rave" was a common term used regarding the music of mid-60s garage rock and psychedelia bands (notably The Yardbirds). Along with being an alternative term for partying at such garage events in general, the "rave-up" referred to a specific crescendo moment near the end of a song where the music was played faster, heavier and with intense soloing or elements of controlled feedback.[6] It was later part of the title of an electronic music performance event held on 28 January 1967 at London's Roundhouse titled the "Million Volt Light and Sound Rave". The event featured the only known public airing of an experimental sound collage created for the occasion by Paul McCartney of The Beatles - the legendary Carnival of Light recording.[7] With the rapid change of British pop culture from the mod era of 1963-1966 to the hippie era of 1967 and beyond, the term fell out of popular usage. During the 1970s and early 1980s until its resurrection, the term was not in vogue, one notable exception being in the lyrics of the song "Drive-In Saturday" by David Bowie (from his 1973 album Aladdin Sane) which includes the line "It's a crash course for the ravers." Its use during that era would have been perceived as a quaint or ironic use of bygone slang: part of the dated 1960s lexicon along with words such as "groovy". The perception of the word changed again in the late 1980s when the term was revived and adopted by a new youth culture, possibly inspired by the use of the term in Jamaica.[4] In the mid to late 1980s a wave of psychedelic and other electronic dance music, most notably acid house and Techno, emerged and caught on in the clubs, warehouses, and free-parties around Manchester and later London. These early raves were called Acid House Parties. They were mainstream events that attracted thousands of people (up to 25,000[citation needed] instead of the 4,000 that came to earlier warehouse parties). Acid House parties were first re-branded "rave parties" in the media, during the summer of 1989 by Neil Andrew Megson during a television interview. In the UK, in 1988-89, raves were similar to football matches in that they provided a setting for working-class unification, in a time with a union movement in decline and few jobs, and many of the attendees of raves were die-hard football fans.[8] In the late 1980s, the word "rave" was adopted to describe the subculture that grew out of the acid house movement.[9] Activities were related to the party atmosphere of Ibiza, a Mediterranean island in Spain, frequented by British, Italians, and German youth on vacation.[2] The fear that a certain number of rave party attendees used "club drugs" such as MDMA, cocaine, amphetamines and, more recently, ketamine, was taken by authorities as a pretext to ban those parties altogether. British politicians responded with hostility to the emerging rave party trend. Politicians spoke out against raves and began to fine anyone who held illegal parties. Police crackdowns on these often-illegal parties drove the scene into the countryside. The word "rave" somehow caught on in the UK to describe common semi-spontaneous weekend parties occurring at various locations linked by the brand new M25 London Orbital motorway that ringed London and the Home Counties. (It was this that gave the band Orbital their name.) These ranged from former warehouses and industrial sites, in London, to fields and country clubs

GENERAL FRANCISCO FRANCO
President of Spain
General Francisco Bahamonde Franco was not the most popular leader in Spain during the early 1930s. A man of humble origins, he had worked his way up the military ladder fighting colonial wars in Africa. He was hardly charismatic; Hitler once described meeting him as "Iess pleasurable than having four or five teeth pulled." But Franco, a staunch conservative, was infuriated when a Republican alliance of socialists, Marxists, and liberals won Spain's first free elections in 1936. So the General decided to "restore order" by force.
Franco's Nationalists were losing the civil war, but military support from Hitler, Mussolini, and the U. S. corporations that backed Hitler turned the tide in his favor. Italy and Germany sent 6,000 trucks to Franco's fascists, but 12,000 were supplied by Ford, General Motors and Studebaker. The U.S. claimed neutrality but didn't stop these companies from aiding Franco. The failure of the U.S. and other democratic nations to assist Spain's democratic government was ultimately responsible for Franco's victory in 1939, and, sadly, American volunteers who had fought for the Republic were branded "premature anti-fascists" and relentlessly persecuted during the U.S. anti-communist hysteria of the 1950s.
Under Franco, all political parties and labor unions were banned, books were burned, and dissenters were tortured and executed. Spain was ostracized by the international community, but the U.S. considered Franco a Cold War ally and sank millions into the country. After Franco's death in 1975, Spain became a democratic republic once again.
