Do you ever consider how fragile you are?

Do you ever consider that you are a machine? So one of the things I do aside from make animations is work on tools for making art with code. This is an attempt at making something with those tools. All the visuals are coded up using p5.js, an open-source graphics library I help maintain, within butter.video (my day job!), a browser-based motion graphics editor where you can write and edit graphics code in a timeline. For a long time I've wanted something like Flash to exist again where you can pop open the Actions panel and write some code, and also continue to edit on the timeline, and that's basically what Butter can do now for p5.js code! Since this is primarily useful for motion graphics rather than character animation, I made something that can be mostly motion graphics. Is the spoken word cringe? Maybe a bit! But we could all use to be a bit more cringe sometimes.

How to defeat Fury Bowser! (Bowser's Fury Animation)

On his 10th Anniversary of being on Newgrounds, Black Rhino Ranger talks about his future

Well, fellas. Today is officially the 10th Anniversary of my very first Newgrounds animation: https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/522034 Now in this animation, it's all about discussing about what my future is going to be like in the 2020s and what my animations will be like when the 2020s come around the corner. Will I still keep using the same animation software I used in 2009? Should I upgrade to a brand new type of animation like Adobe Animate or Toon Boom Harmony? Should I create a brand new series or bring back something I made in the past or make a brand new fan animation series based on another franchise just I have been doing with the Skylanders since 2011? I know there are some big worries about the future like what's to become of flash animation on Deviantart when all the browsers stop supporting the plugin by the end of 2020 and even Youtube's brand new algorithms of wanting to be as kid friendly as possible. Newgrounds, athough very picky, is perhaps the best website for me to continuously submit my animations. What about the Skylanders? Well, they haven't gotten a new console game since 2016, their TV show, Skylanders Academy has been cancelled and the only thing keeping them alive is the Ring of Heroes app which sadly is not available in my country. On Youtube, I use to be big with Skylanders fan animation but in this day and age, I've been in decline. But that doesn't mean I'm giving up on the Skylanders just yet. I plan to continue the Skylanders franchise until 2021, their 10th Anniversary. After that, I'll be focusing on something original. Is it any of these ideas presented in the animation or is it a extra hidden scroll burried deep within my brain cells waiting to be unveiled. I am planning to make a pilot for each of these ideas. First, I'll make a teaser picture for each of them on Deviantart with a description about what they represent. They may not be made for Newgrounds but you'll perhaps find them on Youtube or other sites like Dailymotion, Vimeo and even the new made Vlare. In the meantime, what are your early thoughts about these ideas? Lay them in the comments.

Any Ideas (10 Years of BRR on Newgrounds Special)

It wasn't as funny as the first one, it's more action based

2. I had problems with the audio.

I designed and programmed the MMORPG in this preview. It is flash based, so it can be played in the browser. Sorry for the low-quality video, CamStudio is not good with gradients.

Journey to Bowser Part 1. Mario receives a letter that involves Cake!

Created by sOMeonEUNo. Watch before you vote! Personally I think it's my best movie yet... If you don't like sprite movies/ Super Mario Bros. I am sorry don't vote based on that, and my next ones not gonna be a sprite movie. Please leave reviews telling me what you think of my movie, I usually do respond!
The thing at the beginning has nothing to do with the rest of the movie... It's just there for the heck of it. #2 will have more action I think...
Runtime of about 4 minutes...
Other stuff:
If you like this then then you can check out my other stuff but I don't think it's as good as this, though Mushroom Kumbat is pretty funny depending on your sense of humour.
By the way... Have you tried clicking on the part where it says click here something will happen while bowser is on youtube? (plus pay attention to what it says on the youtube scene) If you like this please reccomend it for the mario collection!

Part 2 of 2 for the first episode. The final scene in this is when I started getting more comfortable with Flash, overall it's obvious that this is an improvement from where this started. And the 2nd episode is already much cleaner, (I started using the pencil tool and I have to say I'm liking it a lot since it's creating thin lines and the quality is looking much more professional) The first episode was an experiment for me, to see if I could actually complete one and to get familiar with Flash, now that I am more than comfortable it'll be a lot easier to make the upcoming episodes 10x better. I am only going to keep learning from the mistakes from this and will constantly keep getting better. Thanks to all that helped me and were there when I dealt with the harsh times that happened to me during the process of making this. I'm going to say this one more time I guess, before you post please take the time to read what I wrote. Because half of the comments about negatives I already stated here. I'm not saying post only positives, no that would be pointless and arrogant. But if you're going to post please make it constructive, I started this a long time ago and I've improved a lot. And as the episode goes on it becomes pretty clear. But I wanted to keep the animation rough because it shows where I started. The audio has issues, yeah that's a given, I also stated I was sorry about it and to bear with it for now. I post on NG because stuff is easier to get shown here. And I feel people who have been animating for years can offer me constructive criticism on how to get better. I do not respond or acknowledge reviews of "get better" "this is shit", please don't waste your time writing them because I'm not going to waste my time taking them seriously. If you want to diss my project then whatever, but please take the time to actually read what I take the time to write to give a background on what you're about to watch. Well I had typed out a massive commentary then my browser closed and I apologize but my patience is dead. It was a long work day for me. Anyway, moving on. I apologize for the audio quality, I was new to the program when I first started Flash in December. For the NG version I had to lower the quality of the audio as well as the images. I just ask you all to bear with it, I know it's rough. I have a better version that is the entire episode including the opening and ending on my production site. www.azure-productions.com /sh_episode_1.html Along the way I've gotten a lot of tips from friends of the trade and I learned a lot more about optimization so the file won't be so big. So for the first episode it had to be broken down into parts, once again I apologize. The 2nd episode is under way and the audio quality is already much better and leveled and the art and animation is much cleaner and smoother (pencil tool ftw). With that disclaimer out of the way I hope you enjoy this minus the short comings. Short Synopsis: Based loosely on the novel series of the same name. Futuristic war feel, the events in the anime happen after the 3rd book "Shattered Heaven Episode III: Serenade for the Winds." Both Earth and Mars are rebuilding under a new leadership known as the United Generation of World and is headed by a single man named Gail Contadino. 2 years after the end of the war mysterious deaths continue to occur, namely of some of the most skilled Mechanical Frame pilots from both sides. Focus at first is on the main characters of my novel and how they are dealing with the aftermath of the war and eventually them becoming targeted by this unknown source. This is the prologue to the first season and actually does not happen until later on. Much thanks to my cast Adam Novus: Adam "Azure Knight" Tilford

Edit: I managed to fit another scene into this without going over the limit. So the episode is going to be split into 2 parts which is much less than I originally anticipated.
