Meet Tube Capsule! - TOSS: Meet the Crew Short

This is a story for the prompt "field" and a bit of "distance" i made in flash use arrow keys to toggle pages music link use arrow keys to toggle pages i tried to be a bit creative with it Special Thanks for im-leia for musicJamirot for this amazing oppurtunityand Newgrounds for their amazing website here is the story (for mobile users) : It was just a regular day at home, chilling, when I heard a voice from above — it was my mom. She told me that tomorrow we are going to take a trip to the fields with my grandparents. "OK," I said. Well, we'll see. Every month we travel to the fields in the countryside just to have a nice day with our grandparents. I really like the fields; it is a silent place to put your thoughts aside and maybe stretch or meditate. When I heard about this, I was excited to go, especially with my grandad. I loved staying with him; he always teaches me cool stuff. Like last year, where he taught me how to make a wooden tent and also taught me how to catch fish. Life here was simple and we were happy. That was until tomorrow, when my mom told me something really tragic. "So, we are going to the fields, but your grandad isn't joining us." "WHY?" I said. "Because… Because… your grandad got a heart attack and passed away," she said while she was sobbing. "WHAT? That can't be…" I said. "It's impossible." I couldn't go to the fields without my grandad. I felt my heart broken from the inside. Then we took the road to the fields. I felt depressed. Now, who would teach me how to make cool things and tell me old trivia? And now he's dead. What's the point of going anyway, you might ask? So, they're hosting my grandad's funeral in the fields. I needed to go; it will be the most important day of my life. That way, I can tell him my final goodbyes. The trip felt long, way too long than it should be. Every mile we crossed, I felt sadder, more depressed. As he was my only best friend in this whole universe, I never had any friends. Everyone likes bullying me for some reason. He was the only one who understood me; he was ME. So, finding out that he's dead just didn't feel right, but I had nothing to do. That's life — people live and die. That's why we need to live the best of it, spend every little second with your family, because you won't be seeing them again. The road went on and on, like it was stretching. It felt like eternity. "Honey, wake up," mom said. I thought we had arrived at the fields, but no — we just stopped at the gas station for a quick rest. I felt devastated. My family went inside to order a quick snack. I didn't have the appetite to eat anything; I just waited in the car. I really wanted to see my grandad one last time in my life. I felt like they took forever to finish ordering. I couldn't wait to go. I saw them exiting the gas station. "FINALLY!" I said. They came back with snacks. "Take some," my sister said while trying to give me a bag of chips. "No thanks," I said. I wasn't that hungry anyway. We took the road, driving our way to the fields — slowly but surely — crossing beautiful landscapes, giant farmlands, and stunning mountains. For a second, I forgot about everything. I was mesmerized by the magnificent views of the wilderness: giant trees, long stretching lakes, and fascinating wildlife. And before I knew it, we finally arrived at the fields. "Oh, here they are!" our grandma shouted while waving her hands. I saw her from far away. When we parked our car, we were greeted by our grandma, but something felt off, like a missing puzzle piece — my grandad was that missing puzzle piece. The trauma hit me again. I instantly remembered everything. I really missed him. I didn't have the chance to see him again. "SNAP OUT OF IT!" my mom said. My grandma led us to the house, where I saw a lot of familiar faces — my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin. "Wanna play something?" he said. "What the hell? Are you SERIOUS? It's a funeral! A FUCKING FUNERAL!" Everyone started staring at me. "Sorry!" I said, but he dragged me away anyway. We went outside in the beautiful sunset, playing soccer and passing the ball. "So, what are you into right now?" my cousin said. "Yeah, nothing, what about you?" I said. "The same," my cousin said. We were kinda just awkwardly passing the ball over and over again with basically no purpose. After passing the ball for about 20 minutes, my mom called me. "Get in here, son," she said. I went to her. "What's the matter, mom?" I said. "Your grandma wants to give you something." She said. I was curious. "What is it?" I said. "Follow me and you'll see." I followed my mom, then I saw my grandmother holding a big can of some sort. "What is this?" I asked. "It's your grandad's time capsule," she said. I was shocked — my grandad's time capsule, that's so COOL! I really wanted to open it. My grandma gave it to me and I started to open it in no time. I found a lot of vintage stuff, like old Star Wars action figures, his old yo-yo that looked SO OLD, old newspapers from the 1970s, and a letter? I picked up the piece of paper. It read: June 23rd, 1982 "Hi there, it's me. I am 15 years old now. I fell in love with this year. I met a lot of new friends and learned a lot of cool new stuff. When I grow up, I will become an engineer, establish a new family, and maybe even meet my grandchildren in the future." I was touched by it. I felt better with this letter. It felt like my grandad was still alive with us. This letter was the cure to my depression and my sadness. I challenged myself to also meet new friends, learn new cool stuff, establish a family, and someday meet my grandchildren in the future. But for now, I just sat down to observe the nature around me. "I wish I could meet you again." THE END

Dream Capsule Part 4 (Collab) - Fariid Animation

Spooder-Man visits his friend Lowronce to make a trade, it goes completely wrong.

I originally made this short in early January of 2014 whilst I was still in 7th grade, making it the perfect time capsule of early-2010s internet chaos through raw Microsoft Paint sketches and unfiltered creative energy straight from my middle school years. This re-upload preserves the animation's original spirit as it always was, a messy and unapologetically unhinged story with an odd layer of late night comfort. Lowronce was based on a teacher assistant who worked in my class and he often brought his Ouya to class, as I was watching The Uncle Dolan Show and Spodermen at the time, I was doodling my own Spooder-Man sketches on a journal and then I asked the man who would be Lowronce if I could turn him into a peanut/bean shaped cartoon, he was all game for it as long as the character didn't bare his real government name and thus a legend was born. This was the first of a few Spooder-Man shorts, all possessing strange arts and dialogues but eventually I put the series on a long pause.

TrouserToons - Sticky's Time Capsule

This was very fun to do, alongside being a time capsule of the campaign I'm in "The Lowriders". Compression fucked up, making me want to ensure the quality of future projects. Made in 2022.

In contrast to my junior film, which was a self-contained story, my senior film here, created entirely within 9 months, is a taste of something much greater. This is a film that takes place in a world, and with characters that I've been developing for years, I'm itching to show you more of it as soon as possible, but for the time being, I hope this serves as a nice introduction to the world of CAPSULES. My hope is that someday I'll get to show you these things and more on the big screen, as an animated series. I'm gonna make it happen one way or another, so I hope you look forward to it! This was a massive undertaking that actually ended up ballooning by an entire minute, but I'm so so pleased with how all of our work for this project was able to come out (fun fact: this was my first time working with a voice actor!)

Did a 48 Hour short contest in my animation year last December. The theme was food.

Did a 48 Hour short contest in my animation year last December. The theme was food. Imo, this isn't great but what it did was get me out of the burnout I was suffering from my actual graduate film at the time. There was also a huge riot in Dublin the weekend this was done so when I look back on this, it's not only a time-capsule to what I was able to do, but also to what was going on, memory is weird...

PODS: Capsule Monsters

Today marks the day that the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft drops off a very special delivery to Earth! In late 2020, the probe collected a significant amount of rocky goodness from an asteroid called Bennu. Storing it securely inside a small capsule, it returned to Earth and delivered this invaluable scientific gift, parachuting to safety in Utah's West Desert. After the drop-off is complete OSIRIS-REx will then fly to another asteroid called Apophis to study it in detail! The spacecraft's name will also be updated from OSIRIS-REX to OSIRIS-APEX ('APophis EXplorer'). It's the gift that keeps on giving! (No sound in this video btw)

Scene#45_DappledProductions

(Edit 8.7.23: Really sorry I left you all hanging like that. Subs are now added.) "Go take your medicine Dusky." This is another episode of the Pokemon series I'm working on. I haven't finished adding audio, or text. But for some reason, I want to let this out before S/V comes out tomorrow. I don't know why that matters to me but, you shouldn't be worrying about that. Everything seems to be a rush while making one of these, it's actually amazing. This animation introduces two of the 70+ pokemon characters I hoard. Typhoon the Quilava and Dusky the Lanturn. They're just chilling about on an internet classic genre, Pixel sprite animation. While heading towards the end, Dusky decides to lament about the distaste he has towards it.He considers the genre to be grave and plain in humor with the overused elements of self awareness, gore, sexual humor, and much more. He continues on with a worry for the future involving this genre. After Typhoon listens to his rant. He chooses to counter the argument with the concern of his friends lack of nourishment through the form of a tiny plastic capsule. These videos don't take me a long time to make, I just need to have a better mindset while doing so. I just get tired to quickly. While also in the text involved in the video, I still got a lot to learn. This is all I got for today, and hopefully I lean back to a healthier schedule of working. I pray I get editing done this week. I'll see you all later. - Akua

A Plushie's Dream

Started work on this the day after viewing the 2018 Sony E3 conference and uh...Yeah. A week later this was birthed. As a very long time fan of the RE series (started young...like age 3/4) I was very much taken aback at first with the 2 remake and the...um..artistic choices. This quick animation showing one of my views.
Still don't get Mr. X's design choice with the fedora and still wondering how it stayed on if they kept his original dropping-into-the-RPD-via-capsule entrance/cutscene.

Give the real you a capsule
Believe in your own lie, turn into the disguise to kill the freak within Disappear, conceal identity
Undercover as another clone
They light the torches when you’re not like them
The spy can ruin lives if exposed Take your fear, make it an entity
Use as cover, never let it go
They contradict themselves but still condemn
When spies that they despise are exposed
Voices sear: “reveal, you’re dead to me”
It’s all over if they ever know
Until they see you through a broader lens
The spy inside can hide with the clothes

A megaman X parody flash that's funny and has...OMG...MULTIPLE ENDINGS???

Hey, guys! Recorderdude back to bring some holiday cheer (though this has NOTHING to do with ANY holidays) with Mega Man X's Paths of LOL. This flash features...OMG...I ACTUALLY LEARNED SOME ACTIONSCRIPT?!?!?!?! Anyways, This flash deals with Megaman X and attempts to parody when he finds the first Dr. Light Capsule. The capsule talks a LOT. In fact, I actually spoke out almost ALL of the script STRAIGHT from the game. This gives three results of discovering the capsule: The Sensical Ending, The Stupid Ending, And The Sonic Ending. Of course, make sure to watch ALL 3 endings. I did EVERYTHING for this guy. Except sprites, SFX, and music. Megaman, Dr. Light, and X enemies are copyright Capcom
Sonic is Copyright SEGA
Sally is copyright Archie Anyways, enjoy it, comment, rate and REVIEW! PLEASE tell me what you think of the new style! -Recorderdude

Mega Man X's Paths of LOL

Even the easiest things like destroying a capsule are sometimes very hard.

Hi, i'm back. I wanted to take a break from my Sonic Of The Dead Series and did something little different instead. It's very very short, but I tried my best to make it as hilarious as possible. Plot: In order to finish the stage, Sonic has to push the button which opens the capsule with the animals inside. However, this isn't always very easy. Be prepared for 12 short clips where Sonic gets beaten by the capsule. At the beginning I wanted to make 15 shorts, but I had some problems with my Flash and on top of that my trial version was about to run out. So I reduced it to 12, but I hope you can still enjoy it. P.S. : At the moment I'm waiting for my new Macbook which I'll get next month. I'm sorry, but until then I won't start Sonic Of The Dead III, so be patient.

The Mario Bros. face the full wrath of Hell Shadow!!!!!

Hey everyone shadefalcon here, whoah it's been like 5, 6 months since my last submission. A lot of sprite edits had to be done and I learnt a few new tricks. This is the second installment to eps 1 of DOD. A lot of questions will be answered such as, Who are in those capsules you saw in the last one? What is Shadow and Bowser planning? What will befall the Mario Bros.? Well just sit back, relax and find out, I hope you enjoy I worked long and hard on this. I look forward to releasing the 3rd one very soon. This time it won't take 5 to 6 months. Peace Out, and Enjoy, :D

Dawning of Darkness 2

--10/23/05-- Hooray, this is the seventh flash that I've finished, and fourth on newgrounds. I started making this months ago and worked on and off of it for a few months and now I've just realised it's close to halloween. Anyway, this may be a little hard to understand because the scenes go by quite fast. In case you don't uderstand the first part, the pink parasite thing is an alien in a glass capsule that has landed on earth. The song is "Turn me on Mr. Deadman" by The Union Underground Facts:

This is a madly energetic 4 minutes of animation collabrated by 3 animators, set to the song "Fly High" by Mad Capsule Markets. The menu music is by whirlguy. whirlguy - As you can see in the beginning of the flash, this started on msn. Wallpaperman sent me a song by mad capsule markets and we both liked it alot. We were both inspired to make a movie about it, random but good, and alot of frame by frame stuff. Wallpaperman and me started this but got out of ideas, so the random idea for a drugs deal and the tripping came in it. The pilot needs to get his parts back after his tragic plane crash, and since his wing is broken, he needs another one. But one thing... What's with those posters? wallpaperman - this movie took liek 3 months cuz we made half of it then couldnt be bothered, then we decided to restart it when jesse said he would join in teh fun! PATS GAY mortalpoet - Isnt online teh give comments atm but im sure they would be along the lines of... "pats gay"

Fly High
