Never thought writing a book would lead me to pursue a live action scifi movie. That in turn was to expensive at $1000 per/minute I had to switch gears. I started with Pixar-style animation and released some episodic examples. Neither test audiences nor myself were thrilled by the early animation. I shifted gears again and got inspired by Final Fantasy The Spirits Within as well as many of the other narrate full cgi Resident Evil films or Tintin or even some of the immersive narrative games like Detroit Becoming Human. Full computer animation showed amazing potential in my early tests, but it was like going back to school when I needed to learn various technical things for converting models for compatibility in 3d programs, dealing with motion capture, lip sinc, facial capture. I spent a lot of time and money on motion capture only to fall back on some simple cheap tools. In the end I not only finished a full movie I could be proud of but I laid the ground work for several other projects that I could do better, quicker, and with much tighter budgets. Thank you everyone for taking the time to watch the film, read all this commentary, and well I guess that's all :) Please subscribe here on Newgrounds and/or on my Youtube channel. Winter of Empires

A little turn table of a model I made for stuff

I just made a 3D model that spins, I will use it for stuff but hopefully this looks fun.

Ci 3D model turn table

a parody of these horrible vhs and dvd people made to teach you art

Hey. This is one of my favorite films I have ever made. I made it like 7 years ago at this point. I was and am frustrated by stop motion being a gimmick like "look it's stop motion ooo" and basically the film can be crap. On the other side I am frustrated by the public's ridiculous urge to only like really slick stop motion that is basically cgi. There are these huge studios that 3d design then 3d print armatures (which takes a ton of skill, I am not taking away from that) but that gritty style matters too. Ok also if you haven't seen these like "How to be a cartoonist" dvd/vhs OMG go find one. They say shit like "Ideas can be anywhere" ok thanks buddy. all music and ideas are licensed and copyright to me My newest game on Xbox with a stop motion short at the start: https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/little-weasel/9mwl7x4r9hnj

After texturizing the G'kar model as a bronze bust I deceided to go for it and do an integration with

An integration of CGI and video of a Renamon figurine

I created a Renamon model and possed her like one scene on Digimon Tamers when she just finished her meal and was thanking for the food. I modelled and textured the dishes and the table. Then I gave her a porcelian-like texture (I really wonder if there is a way to make a 3d printed model look like this) For the stand I used a Tatami texture. I used Blender to make the camera integration and rendered it with Radeon pro render. Took 4 days to render in my Phenom II X3 with a Radeon RX 580.
