In a rut at the moment. Made this "...animation???" to take my mind off some junk. The "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" remix was made by me and as far as I know this is probably allowed on NG....maybe the abundance of Windows stuff is pushing it, but I'll find that out later.

Until Then...

Wrote, sang, produced this song and made this animation! Hope you like it :)

Dexter's Laboratory Intro - Pixel Art Animation

So here it is. After months of work, I've managed to re-animate an ENTIRE episode of Tom and Jerry with Deltarune characters. This is based on my favorite T&J episode, "Heavenly Puss". After making Tennis Chumps last year, I dove straight into making this, and I'm happy to see it finally finished. Massive thanks to NayumiDayo for recreating the entire soundtrack in chiptune form. Really fits the Crustfuck aesthetic of the animation. (Seriously, they've cooked so hard.) Making this animation has been seriously tough so hope you enjoy it. I do hope to make more stuff like this in the future, but uh, considering my finances, that might need to take a backseat for a bit. EDIT: The "My finances are ruined" thing is not a joke, and I'm actually kinda fucked right now. What didn't help was the video was copyrighted on Youtube, so the video kinda flopped. I'm in a situation where I have no choice but to ask for help. If you liked the video, consider supporting me on Ko-Fi. You can also get a commission off of me on Ko-Fi too. I HATE that I have to resort to this, but my back is genuinely against the wall, and I need all the help I can get. -ImaSiphy

Franklin has an idea to get more money in the shop

VOODOO VIDS EPISODE 3: THE CLAW! Well here we are with the third short! This one was a lot of fun to work on this past week. I'll go into more details below as there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it yet. But thank you so much for the support! Newgrounds saw potential in the first episode and gave it a front page position. Truly thankful for that opportunity, and i'm really happy that the short has found some fans. I've been receiving some great messages and really am enjoying meeting others in the indie animation scene. OK, on with the the details. Spoilers from this point on. THE STORYThis third short is based on true events. I was out celebrating a friends birthday and there was an arcade, a claw machine contained these capybara toys, I just really wanted to win one but the machine wouldn't hand it over. My partner decided she would make it her mission to get it for me and i'm happy to say she returned to the arcade the next day and did get it as a surprise, and i'm now a proud owner of a capybara holding a smiling pineapple. FRANKLINWe saw Franklin in the 2nd short briefly. But this time he's made his debut. Franklin is a positive happy guy that just wants to help in anyway he can.. sometimes, he makes mistakes but that's ok. I find BIG characters are a fun contrast to the smallness of Thalia. Having a range of character sizes makes for a more visually dynamic cast and I love how Franklin is essentially Frankenstiens monster wearing bowling shirts and sandals. He's a lovable dude and I can't wait to make more with him. WRITING COMEDYProbably the hardest thing to write because it's just so subjective and i'm not a super confidant writer of anything. The first two shorts required the viewer to have some external knowledge of films like Twilight and Terrifier 3 to really land as intended. So this time I wanted to make the comedy as self contained as it can be. This ones for everyone, or at least I tried my best to write it that way. Some of the greatest comedies ever written stick close to what most people can relate to, Faulty Towers with its husband & wife running a business angle, IT crowd with its office antics... THE OFFICE itself! all of those are relatable character driven sitcoms. As well as referencing popculture from time to time, I need to remember that the writing will land best if it serves what people KNOW. So going forward I hope to lean into that more. and when all else fails? slapstick... Tom the cat getting hit in the face with a frying pan never fails. THE SHOPThe Voodoo Vids building itself is somewhere I want the viewer to desire to go. it's warm, inviting, filled with interesting things. It likely smells of stale coffee and hot CRT's and plastic video cases. I've seen every inch of it because I built everything in it, but the viewers haven't, So I try to get a few establishing shots in there to show the place from different angles. Getting that feeling of "I wish I could go to a place like Voodoo Vids" across more without sapping the pace. I just love strong establishing shots, combined with a nice piece of music, it sets the tone for the rest of it. There is a lot more to see inside, but we'll get to that in a future episode. SILLY VOICESI've done voice work before but for comerical purposes. Yes... I've literally been the guy that says"BUT WAIT! There's more" and I still do that, but I've wanted to get into character work for a while, so I'm using my own project as an excuse to have fun and explore that side of things too.I promise i'll get new voices in for future episodes... i'm no Hank Azaria and i'm looking forward to working with more people. SOME TECHNICAL STUFFThe Capybara world machine was fun to make BUT it was a headache at times. Between the claw rigging, and parenting to the control box, and the fricken CORD on the claw OMG... That was a fiddly thing to get looking right. A lot of trial and error but I settled on a bezier curve and used "hook to" constraints. It does the trick and that's good enough! The Capybara toy itself is a real toy, so I used my own as reference to make the model. I drew the machine artwork in Photoshop and brought it in as an image texture. and to finish off the machines aesthetics I composed its chiptune jingle using a website called "beepbox", if you want to make cool chip tunes and muck about with it, it's a great tool!I was going to model some coins for Victor to use, but I decided it was a detail I could cut to save time, and I don't think it would impact the visual impact by not having that in there. ON great tools a friend told me about WIGGLYPAINT which is the tool I used to draw the squiggly doodles of the characters in the credits. I love how fun they are. FINAL NOTEAside from my partner doing voice work and helping me recording foley sounds I'm working on the animation alone. It's tough but seeing the end result is so satisfying. And if others are enjoying it too then that's even better! Doing this lets me take on all aspects of a production and being indies, we get to just MAKE stuff without having to pass it around a boardroom for sign off on the dirt texture on the glass of the capybara machine. Thanks for the support, thank you for watching, and I look forward to hopefully making you laugh again real soon.

Lyrics:GET ME OUT OF HERE Pick at the walls of my enclosureDays slip away all while I'm losing my composureA fleeting life, a death deniedBetween the bars, outside the box, my freedom lies Trapped in a cell built of my own designHow can that be? Beauty beholden the eye...The will to go on fated to disappear, I'm begging-(You gotta) x6Get Me Out of Here. Watching the clock as hours fall byDrawing a blank, ideas left on the floor to dieLook through the window watching all of the stars go by (Stars go by~)Time's running out, a mental drought, nothing to show Trapped in a cell wrought by my own declineHow can that be? Success is mine to define...The will to go on fated to disappear, I'm begging-(You gotta) x6 Try as I might to create~Over and over the mistake~Getting wrapped up in your head~Just stop caring go get up and make instead~ [Dance Break] Pen to the canvas and drawing the lineEnough standing here I'm all done wasting my timeIt doesn't matter if it ends my career, I've got to-(I gotta) x6I'm getting out of here.

I Love Being Part Of The Economy, It's What I Was Born To Do

an isometric scene of a retro futuristic frutiger aero solar punk device

I recommend watching on fullscreen and with headphones 大家好！Hola! This is a hydroform node, made for terraforming extraterrestrial planets, a planet is bombarded with ice and water meteors to then get heated up and form clouds, a hydroform node takes the formed clouds and converts them into liquid water while distilling and purifying it from other vaporized chemicals mixed in the air, then the prepared water gets pumped out to different places of the planet. The fish is a bioindicator organism, if the fish survives the water is biologically safe, colonists use these as environmental diagnostics. for the overall design I got inspired by Frutiger aero aesthetics, and solar punk concepts for the conceptualization. I thought the result is something you would find in terraria, so i composed the soundtrack a bit like terraria's making it a pixel art Frutiger aero-solar punk mix style. I wanted to get a liminal feeling, or nostalgic feeling, I'm not sure how i got it but i did, to get it i deliberately let some elements of the composition feel off or odd, as in liminal spaces, something that has to do with the lightning, the only thing that casts shadows on this scene are the suctioned clouds and they only cast shadows within themselves, the rest is composition, for example the shadow casted by the device is actually a transparent cube, the shadows casted on the grass by the unimplied clouds are shaders, nothing casts shadows because almost every object's material has emission turned on The process i like using blender for creating 2d like stuff, playing with shaders and programming animations with geometry nodes, so a rough quick sketch took me a few hours and i got this: Then i started conceptualizing and using my references. at first i wanted to make it look as an infinite water body rendered within the boundaries of a cube but it looked as normal water but i ignored that. i used geometry nodes and the shader editor for the water, noise texture for the displacement (using geonodes) and i animated a voronoid texture for the water texturing, The caustics are a voronoid texture on a plane, also seen over the fish. animating the text was easy, i wanted it to look like a converged human language from the future, i used a font called stray (i think this font is from that game also called stray, never played it). I animated it arranging different texts and glitched versions in a 2d image, then animated the texture coordinates of the plane what will have the text.the pipes are transporting water, thats all, it may look weird but it is just moving water. i used geometry nodes for that animation specifically using a waves texture for scaling the pipe across a spline curve.the grass is just 4d noise texture setting the position of each vertex overtime.i didnt know how to make it loop perfectly so i leaved it as so. made only with blender (except the text texture, it was made using Photopea)As for the music, i wanted it to sound nostalgic and chill, i tried to get as close as the visual feeling i had at that time making the scene, So i chose the Mixolydian scale becase of the bVII, and 9th chords, a slow pace rhythm and sounds akin to the style (lofi old school frutiger, chiptune) i produced it with FL studio The sound effects are some folley, others are sounds i found in the internet and some i did with synthesizers The blend file is all yours to explore! Some other arts i've done (mostly with blender) 3D geometry dash sphere spider animated by bboybeat on Newgrounds I also make music; some of these are like the one of this animation! bboybeat's Audio. Animated trailer for the official release of the game World of Horror

This animated trailer for the game World of Horror developed by Panstasz and published by Ysbryd Games was released on YouTube back in October 2023 on various game channels. The game I'd say is a point-and-click, tabletop horror game with various mysteries to solve that eventually circles you back to a mysterious lighthouse. Either survive through the Lovecraftian horrors and save the seaside town or fail spectacularly against supernatural beings or strange phenomenon. I found it fun, and so I enjoyed recreating my feelings for this game through the creation of this trailer for its official launch. This was such a big project so I'm very proud and happy to have been able to finish this one. And I'm very thankful to Brian Kwek of Ysbryd Games for giving me this opportunity and trusting me with this production. It's currently available on Steam, Switch, and Playstation I also have a short production video of how this animation was made.
