The Nesmiths (try to) play Truth or Dare!

Welcome to the TrouserToons Truth or Dare special! Where Johnnie, Janie, and David play a game of Truth or Dare based on submitted requests I took from YouTube commenters XD Also, you might have noticed something a little "different" about how this episode looks compared to the previous ones. That's because, for the first time ever, I decided to try making this episode in a 21:9 aspect ratio! (aka "Cinemascope" or "Ultrawide"). I decided to try animating in a wider aspect ratio this time to try to make the episode feel a bit more "cinematic" and unique. I might make more episodes like this in the future (well, at least longer and more "special" episodes like this one). I've made a couple of animations in 4:3 before, but never in 21:9 before this. So I really hope this pays off! Anyways, enjoy the cartoon! TrouserToons - The Dare of The Matter

We have Smiling Friends at home there I beat everyone to the joke

This started as just a parody of bootleg shirts like the ones of Bart Simpson fighting in the Iraq War or whatever, but at least 5 people wanted to see a full thing of it. I was saving the stuff with the TV head people for an April Fools bit where I pretended it was a legitimate indie pilot I wanted to fund, only for it to just be that shit. They would’ve supposedly been vampire hunters, but every episode would just be petty love triangle shit and they’d never do a single ounce of vampire hunting. But I decided to rework it into the one and only episode that will ever exist of Mister Smile And His Merry Men ”Alep” the Glep alligator thing is voiced by a guy who comments on a lot of my stuff over on YT, LeakyFaucetGaming, because he just asked. On that note, all of the “Merry Men’s” mismatched names were originally coined by another YT commenter, RazorSimon

The tik toker commenter curse

A janky animation about my personal relationship with a meme. Made for the Live Action Jam! "WHY DOES THIS EXISTS?"Funny story, this started its life last weekend with just the final scene only & no V/O, to try and make a random Youtube commenter's day. After considering it “nearly finished” and stopping for the day, minutes later I found out about the Live-Action Jam indirectly through one of the judges! I decided immediately to put in Too Much Effort to make a (hopefully) NG-worthy animation by the deadline.

Inspired by the white text on a black background adult swim bumpers

I was looking around for some inspiration, and happened upon some Adult Swim bumpers from when they were airing Cowboy Bebop however many years ago. I didn't want to just do white text on a black background, so I drew the TV color bars in photoshop (it was either that or paint), and did a little bit of text animation so it wouldn't feel so static. I've had fun making these, I might do more.(edit): At the suggestion of a commenter, the text color has been changed to be more readable.

All right, hot-shots, no small talk or bullshit today! THIS IS MY TERRITORY!

All right, hot-shots, no small talk or bullshit today! Just cold reality and stark, naked truth. Don't wanna know, or friggin' scared? Door's there! Whattaya waiting for? Thanks for sharing, get the hell out! I've had it with your snobby fed-up attitude and your non-stop whining. Why ya smiling? I said get the hell out! THIS IS MY TERRITORY! I've gotten thousands and thousands of comments: "Been there done that”, "Blah blah blah", "Hey this is awesome!", “Teen solipsism blah-blah!”, "I'm adding this to my Favorites list!", "Heard it before - same old shit!" What have these "commenters" ever done in their entire insipid boring lives that's interesting and new? I mean have they ever created a SINGLE THING? From what I've seen they just smear nothing but crap on my comments section. And that's it! Most people have hands, heads, and asses. And what've they produced with them except shit? They shit on the internet while they shit in the toilet. On the net, in the toilet. On the net, in the toilet. What's gonna be left for your stupid kids and grandkids once you're gone, hmm? Unfunny jokes in random blogs that nobody ever reads? Then there's this crap: "Ooh, I've already heard all that before, why don't you come up with something new so I can laugh my ASS OFF!" Ha-ha-ha! There are a googleplex of Boob-tube channels for your "entertainment", so ya can suck down sappy gags all day and never think AT ALL! Now ya can zone out 24/7, without ever turning on your flabby brain. Eat, shit, laugh! Eat, shit, laugh! Eat, shit, laugh! Eat, shit, laugh! Eat, shit, laugh! EAT, SHIT, LAUGH! EAT, SHIT, LAUGH! People! Yeah, you! Take a look at yourselves. Billions of comments all over the web... And they're mostly - shit. Shit, shit, shit... and only a few get the actual message. You are slow on the draw, human beings. You are — slow on the draw. If you've already heard everything... Then why haven't you done anything to make changes in your lives? Hmm? You're so damn tough and certain you're right, aren't you all? And what if you got chained to a radiator, with a baseball bat sticking right in your face? Where will that toughness and certainty go then? Into your pants? With all your adrenaline!? You didn't duck in time! Seven : Zero! You've gotta be nimbler, my precious! They say I’m the same trash as the rest. Guess what, my darling friends? Given the alleged value system of the majority. I'm far worse than that! Far worse! Well I wonder now what your comments will be like... Or maybe get off your ass and change the system?

Waiting for Leo and Satan

A dark strange gorey animation involving the unforgiving undead.

Lychgate is the old english term for the entrance to a church graveyard. This is an animation for NG Halloween 2009. I was planning to do something for this flash-off for a while and only started 5 weeks ago. I love horror and strange movies so I thought I'd make a bloody weird animation this year. This is open to interpretation, or you can just think of it as some weird bloody movie, but I think you can tell that all of the characters are dead. Nonetheless creepers, blood and gore are what I love about Halloween so I dug into my brain, pulled this storyboard out and that's what was going in. 5 weeks of labor made this and I'm satisfied with the result for what it is. I enjoyed making it and hope you enjoy watching it. Thank you to Heroin Slug, an excellent musical artist who provided excellent soundtracks for me. If you're interested in his work leave me a private mesaage or comment about it below.
Congratulations and thanks to Ixintro as well.
Also thank you to Slanted2, a friend of mine who's been animating with me since the start.
Another thank you to Mrs.Tetor and Mrs.Baldauff from my high school for making it possible to do my last 2 movies in school. I owe them 3 trophies and a giant check from the PA computer fair. Happy Halloween, Newgrounds.com, I really hope you guys enjoy this. EDIT: I'm glad people are liking this. It's doing well compared to my expectations. It peaked at a 4.01 (edit: 4.14) and just got 5th place for the day. Yay my first NG trophy! Thanks! EDIT 2: Thank you for front page, Newgrounds staff. That's another big first for me that has happened with this movie. I'm glad people are enjoying it and I thank the people kind enough to drop a review. EDIT 3: Broke 10,000 views: A milestone for me. Thanks again for front page.
I'd like to ask the reviewers to be specific with problems they find in the movie. If you don't understand the plot, tell me where you got lost. If you elaborate you become more helpful and will actually help me improve. Thank you to the commenters and the helpful reviewers.
