"The secret cove was really magical. Beautiful, idyllic, romantic even. The druids invited you and Lulu in as a courtesy to your benefactors. But it seems like the enchanting location spurred some excitement in the two of you. Perhaps if you bang it out quickly it'll only count as slight desecration." Final Fantasy - Slight Desecration

Captain Long John Copper has gathered his crew to scheme their next target for a raid.

The pirate captain Long John Copper has gathered his innermost circle of crewmates to scheme about their next target for a raid. His ship, The Elegant Woman (not to be mistaken for The Elephant Woman, a lesser-known vessel) is among the most feared sights on the seas. A large bounty hangs over Coppers head, as well as those of several notorious members of his pirate crew, such as Puncher, Hammerhead, and Goldbottom, but the authorities dare not pursue them. Now, with the risk of their ruthless seafaring reputation growing stale, it is time to set sail from their hidden cove and seek fresh treasure, plunder, and glory on the high seas... Jim Vs The Movie (Part 11 Intermission)

Jim manages to escape from Monster Island!

It’s a silent film... WINNER OF THE COVETED PBOT DAILY PICK AWARD FOR SAT FEB 20th 2021! My acceptance speech:https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1464715 DIRECTORS COMMENTARYThis is the big escape from Monster Island scene it’s got fantastic stunts in it I was going to have Jim pick up the Jet Ski at one point but then I looked at how much jet ski’s weigh and I was like he can never lift that much weight! So I just put it in a river if you look closely at the Jet Ski during the jump at the waterfall you can see Jim’s stunt double who was a guy named Ricardo that I met one day just outside of a gas station he was enjoying a slushy and eating a sandwich the two of us got to talking and I told him that he looked exactly like Jim and I asked him if he wanted to be in the movie and he said yes! The Jet Ski jump scene took 376 takes and Ricardo broke 97 bones but we finally got the footage! Ricardo is actually seen in another part of this scene the part where Jim jumps off the Jet Ski into the water sadly due to Ricardo’s severe injuries from the previous stunt he was actually killed while filming the stunt luckily we got the footage we needed on the first try! I wanted to include more guts falling out of the sky during the part where the Kraken explodes but the studio wouldn’t pay for it I’ll probably ad it into the Directors cut DVD version when it comes out though. The scuba diver wasn’t actually hired by the studio he just happened to be there while we were filming it’s such a shame that he was tragically eaten by that shark though. Jim Vs The Movie (Part 10 Escape from Monster Island!)

It’s a silent film... WINNER OF THE COVETED PBOT DAILY PICK AWARD FOR SAT FEB 20th 2021! My acceptance speach:https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1464715 DIRECTORS COMMENTARYThis is my other favourite scene in the movie it’s got Lizard People in it and Jim gets caught in a rope trap that makes him dangle upside down! I thought the lizard people should sound like Nibbler from Futurama when he eats stuff. The one thing that I regret in this scene is that I didn’t make Jim’s hat fall off when he was upside down! But I’ll add it in if the movie ever goes back into production. I was going to do a product placement thing for the combo meal so if any fast food restaurants want to help sponsor the production then please send me a message it could be your combo meal on the tree stump! I could also make the turkey a different product. They could be your food products!!! Message me today!!! People need to know about your products!!! Anyways Jim manages to break out of the wooden cage which is far more difficult a task than you would imagine and then the two of them make their way to the rocky Cliffed area and I wanted to make sure that the audience knew that guy died I wanted them to know without a shadow of a doubt that he was dead so I had the giant rock impale him through the rib cage! And then Jim just continues on his way because that’s what Jim does! Anyways you don’t really see very many turkeys dangling from trees these days do you? Jim Vs The Movie (PART 9 Lizard People)

It’s a silent film... DIRECTORS COMMENTARYThis is the part where Jim winds up on Monster Island! It’s one of my favourite scenes in the movie it’s also one of the longest scenes at 13 minutes long! The part where the cyclops is stabbed in the eye and shoots blood everywhere is one of my favourite parts of this scene though I think I should have included a blood trail. I also really enjoy how the giant spider turned out and Larry The Unicorn is one of my favourite characters I think I got the inspiration for Larry from this one caterpillar that was running along the ground in the woods that had a spike on one end of it and I started poking it with a stick. I thought I should do a Mortal Kombat type scene where Larry fought another character and I think that turned out pretty well but figuring out how to animate the fight scene was actually pretty tricky & it took me a few days. I actually had plans for a video game based on the movie where you could actually play the arcade machine and there would have been a variety of different characters that you could play as but I don’t think that I will be able to make the game! If you click this link you can watch all the parts right now!https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1457719#bbspost26592919_post_text PART 1 PART 2 PART 3 PART 4 PART 5 PART 6 PART 7 PART 8 PART 9 PART 10 PART 11 WE’LL BE RIGHT BACK AFTER THESE COMMERCIAL MESSAGES!Jim Vs The Movie is brought to you by Mangled Arms & Flan Flakes DONATE MONEY!http://mrmalfunction.bandcamp.com YOU CAN ACTUALLY DO A VOICE IN THIS FILM JUST LEAVE A COMMENT TELLING ME THAT YOU WANT TO BE IN THE MOVIE AND ILL MESSAGE YOU WITH THE DETAILS! Jim Vs The Movie (Part 8 Monster Island!)

Jim is brought on board Captain Krunches ship!

It’s a silent film... DIRECTORS COMMENTARYIn this part Jim meets the infamous Captain Krunch! This scene was a bit tricky to animate because I had to make the ship go up and down. My favourite part in this scene is the part where the Kraken rips the boat in half I was going to ad in people and barrels and cannon balls and stuff like that falling out of the ship into the water but I didn’t get a chance to the Kraken actually is just a legend though it can’t really hurt you! Jim Vs The Movie (Part 7 Pirates!)

Jim Vs The Movie (Part 6 Treasure Cove!)

DIRECTORS COMMENTARY
This scene is the scene where Jim takes the short cut that the dragon told him about

Jim Vs The Movie (Part 5 The shortcut...)

it a silent film... DIRECTORS COMMENTARYThis is the scene where Jim visits O’Roorke’s castle and he meets the dragon who I thought should sound like Bill Murray’s character in Caddyshack apparently if you successfully navigate Bill Murray’s telephone system you can actually leave him a message and ask him to be in your movie though I’m not sure what his number is or how to navigate through his phone system so I can’t ask him to be in the movie anyways Bill Murray is one of my favourite actors though. I like this scene because the dragon eats the guy and you get to see all the blood spouting from what’s left of his torso I was going to ad a pool of blood by his feet but I didn’t get the chance to. I really like the dragon though his head kind of looks like a hammer!
