FFSX7 Episode 7 - Official Preview

Steve gets jealous of Dire's new Girl Friend and tries to off himself.

"DIRE The JIRE" is a Vegas Pro "Animated" cartoon, fully animated and edited in Vegas Pro 18. This Cartoon was inspired by early Adult Swim shows such as "Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Space Ghost Coast To Coast, and 12 Oz. Mouse".The stiff PNG characters and strange dialog are on purpose and portray an era with strange writing, taboo characters, and weird writing. All Characters and Art Belong to SkippyLucky7 and DJR.

When the Youtube sub count reaches 404 it may have dire consequences for Cal's world

Here's something I've been working on for the past few weeks. I was inspired by reaching the 404 mark on my sub count over on Youtube and had this idea for a short animation. When the subscriber is not found, it has dire consequences for the world Cal and Pals live in. It was a lot of fun making this animation but wow, I've not ever recorded this much screaming for the audio. Actually before now I've never recorded any XD It is very awkward. But at last it's done. As you may guess, this was made primarily for my Youtube audience but I had a lot of fun making it so wanted to share it here too. Power Star Reimagined: The Outset

This is the tale of Leo Tavious, a resident of the crime-infested city known as Heavenly City. Leo, an OG member of the Scorp Gang, finds himself in a dire situation as the gang faces relentless raids and drive-bys, while their rivals, the South Side Gang, thrive in power. Amidst these circumstances, Leo embarks on a quest for vengeance to avenge his brother and settle scores with those who have wronged him or dare to oppose him. However, his past misdeeds start catching up to him, adding to the complexity of his journey back to the top. Standing by his side are his blood brothers and brothers in arms, united in their determination to reclaim what belongs to them, regardless of the sacrifices they must make. Developer notes: Hey guys sorry if the music seems out of place but the super lovely moderators at Newgrounds thought it would be great to take down the original trailer (Admittedly we used a copyrighted song) so this is updated with a NON-COPYRIGHTED song. It was in-between recording our SpongeBob reaction and our Thomas the Tank Engine reaction for his channel. Given I’m working on commissions for MatterBoar, @themaskedmonocole, and a Persona 5 animation for my channel (as well as editing videos, making music, and working a day job), I decided that I would attempt to get this project finished in one day. That way, this project wouldn’t cut into others too badly. I started at around 2 p.m. on the 15th. The music was already made. It is entirely coincidental that I had created a cover of Dire, Dire Docks that could be used in this animation, but I’m happy I made it! Saves me the hypothetical trouble of having to worry and make it now. It didn’t get that much attention when I first posted it despite me being very happy with the way it turned out, so I’m glad this is an opportunity for me to organically reintroduce it to more people. Originally, I was going to go for a 4:3 aspect ratio to match the aspect ratio of the Nintendo 64. But, I felt that a wider canvas would be more dramatic and added to the comedy of Mario fucking drowning. So I went with 2:1. PRODUCTIONI skipped storyboarding and went straight to working on the background art. (The timelapse of the background art is available on Ko-fi for members only!) I went into it hoping to improve on the color palette of Jolly Roger Bay. The colors in Super Mario 64 in general are very muddy, in my opinion, and I wanted to make it more colorful and vibrant. However, I’m not confident in my digital painting skills and struggled all throughout the process. The background was supposed to have a lot more setpieces from Jolly Roger Bay, but I couldn’t make it work. So I settled for just the lake, mountains, and clouds in the sky. When paired with Dire, Dire Docks, the point gets across that this is supposed to be that level from the game. POST-PRODUCTIONThe textbox rotation transition at the end took a fair amount of time to fiddle with to get even remotely close to the game. I could have done it in Flash a lot easier, but that would have ultimately complicated things, I felt. In the end, it looks okay! I completed this about 5 hours after starting.

I PULVERIZED the audioscape with Gundam references, in sound effects for the time machine and using a track from the 08th MS Team as temp music. Seemed like dire, doomy sci-fi music and fitting for the theme. There used to be a scene between the kid's shocked expression upon learning he's him from the future and the "Now gimme all those cookies" turnaround, where the music got all sad and piano-keyed as the time-traveler pleaded and begged him to not take the cookies and turn his life around, "You have to believe me...Please!" before procuring his gun and delivering his line "Now gimme all those cookies." At the time, I liked the mood-swingy nature of him, because he looked like a crazy person to me, but I agree it was a good idea to cut it out. I loved the time-travelers design- I can't remember if he was custom made for the short or if he was a model re-used from something we've done before, but I was told to specifically design him that way. The time machine I made up on the fly, it's pretty much just a futuristic phone booth, lol. I got the bowling-ball hole designs from 80s-90s animes I grew up watching as a kid and snuck them into his bionic eye to make it look even more futuristic. Directed By: Connor Murphy

In it, the fledgling American nation held their own against the worlds mightiest empire. The reason for the war impressment had been an issue of contention between the two nations for some time. Impressment was the forceful conscription of American sailors into the British navy. Britain chose to do this due to their dire need for sailors in the extremely harsh British Navy. Britain had been fighting for some time with Napoleon, and it was not going well for the British empire. To the British desperate times called for desperate actions, hence the impressment of foreign sailors into the navy. One of the most pivotal battles of the war was the battle between the USS Constitution and the HMS Guerriere. In this battle, the pocket battleship, the USS Constitution fought and defeated the HMS Guerrier, in a total upset. Sources:
