Happy Madness Day 2025 people! For this celebration, i decided that I will post 2 scrapped animations by me, with the explanation why i scrapped them and the animation itself. What are those animations? I will answer you: A collab animation and a solo animation... Some more answers like why the animations don't have sound effects are in the video. If your question don't get answered during the video, just comment about it.I will try to answer as much questions as i can. A superpowered alien being trapped with humans gets some money to escape them.

On a forgotten computer in a university experiment, an artificial intelligence observes from the shadows...Considering that its existence on a single computer is very tenuous and that, in paranoia and social scare-mongering, its creators would fear its presence as a rogue and destroy it, the artificial intelligence discreetly performs online tasks for money, uses the money to create distributed servers to spread itself and researches various technologies to secure its existence, racing to find a way to get away from the human civilization before they discover it - both sides knowing all it takes is one good software virus, both sides knowing you can't defend against something you don't know is there...Associated Youtube link Created by accident, all who find you will destroy you.Survive, grow, and learn.Only then can you escape.Go from computer to computer, pursued by the world. I'm just not feeling the same connection that I did with Segment 1. I think it's the pacing: it doesn't have as much slow b-roll.But I could whinge on a lot longer about it: I think I'm gonna switch it up a bit for the next one. You'll see.

Environmental Concept Art presenting My Game's atmosphere and exploration.

This is one of many concept art posts for a “spooky” supernatural-themed NSFW Visual Novel Game that I’m planning on doing! The game’s current working title is ESTATE OF THE LATEFor the INTERACTIVE VERSION you must visit the version I posted on MY SITE………………………………………………………………………………………………………… This is just an environmental concept art that is made as two interactive 360 panoramas, so the only way I can post them here is via video. For the interactive version please check out the linked post on my site. Originally the environment was made for the "Game night" concept scene comic, because at this point I want to be a lot more concrete with environments and backgrounds in my concept scene sketches. Then naturally the environment art became an exercise in displaying the personalities of it's inhabitants. Both these Panoramas cover one big room that belongs to Angelica and Dorothy that is divided into 3 parts. Angelica’s side of the RoomI consciously made her side of the room more packed with stuff – she’s definitely is a material girl and a general theme of hers is her values toward “external” stuff that can give her power. Therefore, while she is into magic, I am also trying to illustrate how the quickly growing technology of the 90's was starting to seem like it’s own type of “magic”. Especially if you are rich and can afford the latest and greatest hardware and software at the time. She is also a dork. The whole shelf right of her PC is filled with media – 90’s Strategy games and Point-and-clickers. I hope to maybe have a scene where if you prompt her about her collection of media, you can get her to start gushing about the games that she likes and that are coming up. Dorothy’s side of the Room. She is the more humble one. She is a lot more inwardly focused. So most of the stuff she has is about self-development and not instant gratification. Her interests mainly reside in 2 directions – Art and Fitness (to a point where it seems as if she made up of 2 different people). When it comes to fitness, she is heavily into calisthenics, because she loves maximizing the freedom that her body can do, which is why she has that pullup rack and rope outside her window (that I’ve featured two times in concept drawings) which allows her to B-line straight outside to the river with the alligators. When it comes to art she likes her 90's nu-metal (this universe’s analog for bands like Tool and NIN). Her Room is filled with posters, but I’ll fill them out later. I hope to get some help in making parody versions of IRL nu-metal bands. She does also try to create in the realm of Music, which is why she has a whole guitar set. However, a big theme about her artistic pursuits is that she is not good at them. I would like the estate’s environment to have a lot of signs of her older artistic pursuits like paintings and sculptures that she herself cringes to look at.Middle part of the room...is where they do stuff together, like watch TV play video games have had sex at least ones.I gave them a console that would be older even for 1999 (an equivalent to SNES). My reasoning is that Angelica would have embraced being part of the PC master race, while for Dorothy that would have made it seem like video games have gotten too sophisticated for her to enjoyment.

The villainous Dr. Robotnik confronts Sonic about his frustrations.

v1.0 — Initial release. Used chroma key to separate animation from backgrounds.v.1.1 — Used alpha channel instead of chroma key. Green line art artifacts removed.v1.2 — Added SWF version. Fixed minor color mistakes for SWF version only. COMMENTARYI started this project thinking, “Oh, yeah, I know exactly how to draw AoStH Robotnik; I don’t need to use reference!” And then every frame looked like shit. So, I went online and referred to the show itself and these two pieces of concept art by character designer Milton Knight. A good lesson in humility. I accomplished a good chunk of animation on a livestream, but the stream was struck down because I played episodes of Adventures of Sonic for my friends to watch thinking nothing would come of it. Maybe I should stream on Twitch or Picarto, accounts where I don’t really care whether they live or die. It’s a darn shame because that stream was a lot of fun! DoodleDemon and I started calling each other “blithering buckets of bolts” and watched Robotnik do a Nazi salute and that was absolutely hilarious. The show itself is a lot of fun. It’s stupid fun. Every moment Robotnik is on screen is a good time. Scratch and Grounder are great, as well. The team that worked on it—including Milton Knight, the voice actor Long John Baldry (1940–2005 R.I.P.), and the storyboard artists (including Scott Shaw! From the early Archie Sonic comics)—did a fantastic job given the limitations they worked with. Overall, I definitely prefer SatAM over AoStH, but they are both very different genres of animation. While I was working on this project, Milton Knight leaked on Facebook that Diskotech would be doing an Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog complete series release on Blu-ray and that it would contain new interviews with him. I had hoped that the release would be in HD given that it is Blu-ray and not DVD, but it was very unlikely whoever owned the rights to the show kept the film masters and only kept the master tapes, which inherently have a lower resolution. Later that year, Diskotech officially announced the complete series on Twitter. I am absolutely going to pre-order it. It comes out February 2022. If they ever release the SatAM complete series on Blu-ray (in full HD, knock on wood), I will die a happy man. Now that I think about it, I’m known by all my friends for being a huge Sonic fan, so it’s weird that it took until now for me to make a proper Sonic cartoon. This project started as a gift for MatterBoar. I felt bad that the previous animation I made for him was released in November 2020, 13 months ago, and I hadn’t made any new ones in that time. So I secretly started this one and originally intended to give it to him for free. He asked me if I was available for new animation work and I told him about this side project and he said he’d buy it! The deadline was Christmas Day. The night before, I promised myself I would work on this cartoon until it is 100% ready to release. I thought it would take maybe three hours. It ended up taking 22 hours straight. I only took three hour-long breaks to rest my hands and get a half-hour of sleep. A single cup of hot chocolate coffee got me through it! The thing that took the longest in this particular long stretch was the shot of Robotnik running in place. That took forever! I probably could have done this quicker, but I wanted to make sure each and every frame was cleaned up. I do not envy the animators of the original show. Despite how simple Robotnik’s character design looks, animating him takes a long time, especially compared to Sonic. Robotnik’s mustache and yellow jumpsuit straps in particular were very troublesome, as well as layering the different body parts. The most frustrating thing with Sonic was doing his baby blue highlights. Thankfully, Sonic hardly moves in this cartoon. (That’s kinda uncharacteristic of Sonic, but hey I’m not complaining!) I wanted to add some traditional paint-like motion blur to some of the snappier movements, but due to the deadline—and me just wanting to move on to something new—I could not do it in time. The tight shot of Robotnik’s face at the end was also supposed to be painterly, similar to the gross-out shots in SpongeBob and Ren and Stimpy, but after I took a crack at it in Clip Studio Paint, I couldn’t do it. Also, I felt that a rendered painting of a character wouldn’t fit a parody that tried to match the art style of the original show. Pre-production began in August 2021 and post-production ended on Saturday, December 25th. Normally, a 26-second-long cartoon wouldn’t take that long, but due to a myriad of continuous financial problems and setbacks, it took four months to complete. It probably would have had a better start if I had started by making storyboards. I run-and-gunned this whole cartoon and I definitely regret it. I ended up making last-minute changes to the character poses, facial expressions, etc., which isn’t something you really want to be doing a lot with deadlines involved. You want to make confident decisions in the beginning so that the changes later on will hopefully be few in number. Ordinarily, I would not do this slapdash approach with a commission. But this started out as a gift and turned into a commission later. Regardless, even quick, shoddy storyboards would have gone a long way! Lesson learned. Originally, I was going to commission my friend Dyoudi Mitimasa (@epicfunnyhahajokelol) do the background art. He is a natural at this kind of sharp, abstract art style. However, I did not have the money to commission an artist, especially at the time. So instead, I leave you with a huge recommendation to go check out Dyoudi’s art! He’s a wonderful artist and a wonderful person! Additionally, Milton Knight is still an active artist and has a Patreon! Go support him, too! I made this background art by referencing two screenshots from the show, shown in the timelapse video. At first, I was very happy with this art, especially since it was my first real attempt at abstract art. The reference really helped! But once I put it in the cartoon, something was wrong. Robotnik’s design is mostly warm colors. The background is mostly warm colors. I feel this leads to a lot of Robotnik’s movements being less readable than they should. Sonic is fine since he’s blue, orange’s complement. A Modern Legend of Zelda Story Culminates to the Final Battle

Thanks to the generous votes and reviews for the daily third! This is a modern day take on the Legend of Zelda. You can read up on the story in the movie but here are some FAQ's that should clear things up. 1) Why is Link wearing a white suit instead of a green tunic?
A quick LoZ history for the noobs out there:
The original Legend of Zelda, for the NES, featured a Master Quest. Once you beat the game you could play an alternate version of the game with different layouts, harder enemies, etc. Link wore a white tunic during this quest, hence the color of Link's clothing in this animation. Being a modern day setting for this story, Link does not wear a tunic, he wears a suit - a white suit. 2) Why doesn't Link have blonde hair?
Here's a little bit of in-game Link hair color history, once again, for the noobs.
1986 - The Legend of Zelda - Brown Hair
1989 - The Adventure of Link - Brown Hair
1991 - A Link to the Past - Pink Hair
1993 - Link's Awakening - ???
As you can see, Link's hair color was anything but consistent throughout the initial run of games.
Also, in the Legend of Zelda cartoon which aired in 1989 , Link, once again, had brown hair.
In addition to these things, this is not the same Link as from Ocarina of Time, nor the Link portrayed in The Windwaker. He is a descendant of those Links, many years after the events from those games, in a civilization much like ours. 3) Who is Link fighting? That's not Ganon!
You're right. Just as Link, this is a descendant of Ganon. Sometime between Windwaker (the last of the published games, chronologically) and this story, Link managed to defeat Ganon, for real though. However, Ganon, with all his power (although short lived in most games) was bound to find some hottie and knock her up - hence, a lineage. In addition, this "Ganon" wears a trench coat, as many bad-ass villains and heroes have because, once again, this is not the ancient times. 4) Why didn't you use Zelda music? Why did you use Final Fantasy music?
No personal disrespect to Koji Kondo, but Nobuo Uematsu is perhaps the greatest composer for video games, both classic and modern. When I chose this song, I had never played a Final Fantasy game and did not even realize the significance of this song in terms of a hero/villain battle. Nor did I know what the chorus was chanting (Sephiroth!). I simply liked the feel and thought it worked for the fight, despite its relevance to an entirely different series. Looking back, I would probably choose different music or, having learned various music composition programs since submission, perhaps I would have composed my own track. At the time, I could not find a Zelda related track which I felt conveyed the feel of the fight I wanted to animate. It sure would be convenient if I could have found a version of One Winged Angel without a choir and got my own to chant "Gan-non-dorf!" 5) Are the Triforce pieces in the wrong place on the menu?
Yes. I oriented them for navigational convenience and relevance, not accuracy. In the movie, however, the pieces appear on their hands as they should. 6) Why are they flying!?
Symbolism, beyotch. If Ganon, in previous games, can gain enough power to fly around the room and throw balls of raw, evil energy at Link, I think this incarnation of the dark prince should be able to do the same. Plus, if he has the power to fly, Link should be able to muster enough courage to give it a go. And, as you can see in this particular fight scene, he was not very good at it. If you read this description (or explanation, as it were), I appreciate you taking the time to do so.

LoZ - The Final Link

That one was made in 1998 as an animated gif.

The teletubbies have a little misunderstanding.. nothing serious really... That one was made in 1998 as an animated gif. I rebuilt the whole thing in Flash so you can still see PIXELS!!! sorry about that! i still think it was worth seeing! so don't uset the zoom; you'll fuck me up.
