Never thought writing a book would lead me to pursue a live action scifi movie. That in turn was to expensive at $1000 per/minute I had to switch gears. I started with Pixar-style animation and released some episodic examples. Neither test audiences nor myself were thrilled by the early animation. I shifted gears again and got inspired by Final Fantasy The Spirits Within as well as many of the other narrate full cgi Resident Evil films or Tintin or even some of the immersive narrative games like Detroit Becoming Human. Full computer animation showed amazing potential in my early tests, but it was like going back to school when I needed to learn various technical things for converting models for compatibility in 3d programs, dealing with motion capture, lip sinc, facial capture. I spent a lot of time and money on motion capture only to fall back on some simple cheap tools. In the end I not only finished a full movie I could be proud of but I laid the ground work for several other projects that I could do better, quicker, and with much tighter budgets. EPILEPSY WARNING Original Title: Pico Day 2025, Sonic Vs Goku, then changed to Sonic Vs Goku Vs Pico Vs Tom Fulp, then changed to Pico Vs Newgrounds Finished on 4/18/2025, I am just going to post it today because I want this to be an early birthday present The original was boring but check it out: click here Don't worry it won't be like the 2003 one... Happy Birthday TOM! this is for your birthday also if I don't finish the other Pico Day one, I don't really like that one so I wanted to make this for you :) Happy 47th birthday Mr. Tom! BEFORE READING Keep in mind that I could not see the early 2000s, so I am trying my best to convey the 2000s! Dear Tom, I may not know you, but your site is awesome, anyway I want to share some information, I decided to get some audios from 2003 - 2005 to capture the feel of the old newgrounds you created, like Doomsday!, C&C Red Alert - Hellmarch, and Bond, James Bond... Metal. I wanted to animation to feel old so I used the pencil tool to give the feel of the old newgrounds animations when they didn't use the brush and used the pencil for some odd reason, like Decline of Video Gaming 3 and Halo: Funny Situations. (Yes I know they also used handdrawn but they used very thin lines and I ain't doing allat.) I hope you enjoy this animation Fulp. Yours awesomely, Cheppekka Tom's shirt texture: click here Fun facts: A lot of old flash animations used mk1 sound effects, which means a lot of people had mk1 back then I used this cool setting to find all these old fragments Did you know you could type ?emulate=flash to older animations that use the newgrounds launcher Tom Fulp was 12 YEARS OLD making up a concept for newgrounds The creator of the Ultimate Showdown was 14 when making his animation It takes the average self animator about 9-11 months, this took me from march 8th to april 18th There are a lot of deleted and lost media animations from newgrounds because of the rating system back then, but lets not be too sad, it's because they weren't good. newgrounds has been on national NEWS yes NEWS for the kindergarden killer game tom is a kind guy, ik shocker right?!

Happy 17th anniversary to SMBZ Episode 6!

Of all the fight scenes in Super Mario Bros. Z that I keep seeing people make fan-made remakes of, Semi-Super Mecha Sonic VS the Axem Rangers X is probably the most common. I don’t blame them, though, it is great! And I thought, “I wonder what this fight would look like in my animation style…” And here we are; although, instead of Mecha Sonic for my remake of this fight scene, I instead decided to up the stakes and instead use Metallix from the SMBZ reboot, plus I just think he’s cooler (no pun intended XD). In all seriousness, I hope you enjoy this take of mine on this fight scene, as it was really fun to make! Who knows? This might give Mark Haynes some ideas for whenever he officially remakes this fight scene ;) And if you saw the release date of this video, it’s coincidentally the 17th anniversary of SMBZ Episode 6 (specifically here, for its Newgrounds upload). I thought this would be a nice way to celebrate it, and I hope you all enjoy the video! Also, I both updated my intro and outro, and even used this cool new video editor called “WEILO, My Last Video Editor”, and man, is it great! Definitely using it MUCH more often for future videos, especially for Episode 2 of Mario, Sonic and Kirby: Warriors of Chaos, coming hopefully this December! Super Mario Bros. Z is a series created and owned by Alvin-Earthworm/Mark Haynes. Please go support his series, both the OG and reboot of it! Metallix's sprites made by BluerSonic, KoolKing Productions and VipSLASH respectively. Is it too late to say this very post got me to 2K?

Since I started animation, I went from around 450 followers to an even 1,000!I didn't wanna draw 1,000 individual Pikmin, so I went with Purples, who can carry much more. Those who have carried the Doomsday Apparatus sure know. Not too much happens in this one, however this animation would perform INCREDIBLY on Twitter. The post would attain around 9,500 LIKES and would ramp my following from 1,000 to 4,000! It was my best performing animation yet. It was wild to see unfold, and I still remember always seeing the number 20 over the notification bell whenever I logged on.

Doomsday Floss

A hedgehog saving the world, a lost fox, and a clueless echidna

Original release: June 7, 2018 It's a time of crisis on Angel Island, as the land mass has fallen from its place in the sky down to the ocean below. Sonic arrives on the scene to investigate, but he's soon intercepted by the red echidna, Knuckles. With the Chaos Emeralds taken from him, will Sonic be able to regain them and restore the island to its natural state? This machinima and the LP it's attached to have been in the making for over two years; from simply being unable to do it on my grandma's computer in late 2015/early 2016 to it becoming a pet project of mine with a little surprise element (watch at the end to see what that's all about,) it took me quite some time to get this all together. I've been looking forward to working on it a lot and hopefully you all enjoy how it turns out. There's a few fixes I made to the segments here after noticing some problems in the LP versions. Those include...
-Audio adjusted for the Launch Base and Hidden Palace title cards to match the other ones
-Syncing for Sonic's portion of the Launch Base segment is improved
-Title card for Aquatic Ruin Zone has a more accurate font SONIC 3 & KNUCKLES LET'S PLAYS:
