For Tech Demo Day, the Doorman heralds a new and beautiful new engine, showcased with gorgeous prerendered visuals and a robust lighting system! Unfortunately for him, its first recipient is a little less privy to mood lighting, and would rather find herself sledding at mach speed.

A little animation to show my fun experience with the sonic games

Before it gets pointed out yes I forgot the buckles on his shoes, shhhh. I know I've mixed it up with Metal Harbor and SA1 cover but I just prefer how that one looks 💔 This was a fun way for me to try hybridising my workflow. I used a mix of hand drawn animation and rigs here to save some time and I think it worked out pretty great, a lot of it only ended up going into backgrounds but it was super helpful. I started this back in January but naturally work and life got in the way. I had to redo a bunch of shots when I got back to it cause they had some STANK drawings in there, happy with how its turned out and I hope you guys enjoy! I have some more ideas for shorts and the time to work on them again now so hopefully there'll be some more coming soon. Here's an example of how I improved in the last few months :P

Eggman gets very upset at (checks notes) Sonic

Eggman gets upset. Extremely upset. Unbelievably upset. But... why? Why is he like this? What happened to the level-headed and confident Doctor Eggman that I once knew long ago? The man who always chortled with a pound of Crisco in the back of his throat? The Eggman... who would accidentally sit on top of his Dreamcast whenever he hopped into his Egg Mobile? We don't know. we just don't know. we will never know... the egg man. :(

You can guess which option we went with.

As the sole lead, I am eternally grateful for everyone on board who lent a hand in the development of this sequel, from the animators responsible for all of the microgame segments featured, to the team who helped form the intro and outro sequences into what they'd become. However, the project isn't without its setbacks. From constant delays on my end due to work, freelance and life commitments piling on to my schedule (on and off, this project took a year and a half to make, with most of the progress being made in the last few months), the looming dread of not living up to the expectations of myself, my friends and the wider audience, and going through one of the worst and most tumultuous times of my life, mentally. As such, I am finished with anything FulpWare-related and finished with big collaborations for a good while in order to focus on myself. But in the spirit of this site, I am letting this series free. If anyone has the passion, dedication and perseverance to continue FulpWare with another movie or even a fully fleshed out game, then you have my full permission.

It belongs to the people.

To everyone.

EVERYTHING, BY EVERYONE.

Late by a few months who would've guessed, but holy SHIT it's finally DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For everyone wondering why I've been silent for the past year and a half, IT WAS THIS!! (╬⊙皿⊙;) So, long story short, around March or April of 2023 Shleptboi came to me with the proposal of joining the Newgrounds Dreamcast Collab and making a toon for it, and I was hesitant at first because none of the shorts were taken but I know if I picked Jet Set Radio that'd I'd have to deliver as hard as I possibly can- and I hope I did! After some back-n-forth I finally decided to claim the short, and thus commenced the development of "how the hell do I turn Jet Set Radio into a cartoon with a plot to follow!?" The first script we (Shleptboi, raivnn, and I) had came up with was really good, but it was also like 70/80 cuts adding up to 5 minutes total of animation, and the team and I tried to pursue it, but it just wasn't happening orz Not to mention I didn't really like how my cuts were turning out, so halfway into the second half of 2023 I decided to scrap everything we made and start from scratch, with a very simple story in mind. After groveling for a bit I came up with a schizo-chart to plot out the storybeats, then I immediately went into boarding. Surprisingly, this time the flow of the story just came naturally to me! That story being the one you are about to/just have watched. There was a point where my Discord account was hacked and I had to finish the rest of the animation using my iPhone as a file transfer to get the other animator's work on my computer, it was a whole process, but im glad that in spite of that I was able to finish this and with this amount of quality, I am quite proud of what my team and I were able to put together (゜▽゜)o☆ CASTGum - DenshaVAPiranha - meulinexMew - BunniBabzBeat - ShleptboiRed Noise Tank - VILLAINBlue Noise Tank - Seamus64Noise Tank Leader - crishatesyouDJ Prof. K - LuckoDaStars (King Cole) WritingWriters - Shleptboi, tofokyo, raivnnStory Outline - tofokyo, Shleptboithis shit went through like three iterations, im tired man EditingStory Editors - tofokyo, Shleptboi, raivnnDialogue Editors - Shleptboi, raivnn StoryboardStorybeats - tofokyoRevision #1 - raivnn, tofokyo, JrembyRevision #2 - tofokyo Background Art & A little character showcase of Vera Swiftpaw, a curvy gun bun mercenary

I've been thinking of getting back into game dev. It's still very much in the super early stages but I've been brainstorming some ideas and I want to go with something reminiscent of the old cel-shaded Dreamcast/PS2 games. For the first character, I've designed Vera Swiftpaw, a curvy gun bun mercenary. I've made a little run cycle and idle animation to show her off in the video above. I hope you like her <3 Music: dreem - prove me right Consider supporting me and my projects on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/omegaozone

Believe or Not. This isn't for DreamCast Month. I wasn't aware of Dreamcast month until I was halfway through making this. ^^'

Sonic vs BigFoot (Blender Animation)

A naked muscular man throws his balls around and pays the price.

This is my part of the Newgrounds Dreamcast Collab! Cosmic Smash is a very obscure game released on SEGA Naomi hardware in arcades back in 2001, with a Dreamcast port released only in Japan as a discounted budget title following the console’s discontinuation earlier that year, sold in a DVD case as opposed to the Dreamcast’s traditional jewel cases. A friend of mine had introduced me to Cosmic Smash as well as some other classics like Rez and Ikaruga last year so when a slot opened up for a Cosmic Smash short in the Dreamcast Collab I snatched it up ASAP. I’ve tried my best to recreate the style of the game’s promotional art while conforming to an animation pipeline. Enjoii :3

can kilik find the soul edge? (created for the newgrounds deamcast collab)

calling all soulcalibur dreamcast fans, not the one where you can make Mr. Crabs, or the one that has Yoda on xbox, or the Zelda one on gamecube. im talking about the (technically) first soulcalibur game. Kilik is searching to find the soul edge. some ancient blade IDK, i got a bit lost reading the lore and just made it about retro video games and DKOldies anyway. as a late participant this was scraped together to the best of my ability within a week to be submitted to the upcoming dreamcast collab. keep your eyes PEELED for that shit when it drops. its going to be insane. there is like a 1000 people working on this!

For the awesome Dreamcast Collab hosted by shleptboi This was a tour de force into actually being more proficient with Blender. For a first time producting an animation of this type using almost exclusively a mix of 3D and 2D, i think i did pretty good. Hope anyone watching this feels as motivated to sing on the karaoke section as I was :) Credits:2D/3D Animation, Video Edition, KeyingFrancisco "Metaru" Cifuentes "Lets Go away" Arrangement and ProductionThennecan -Vocals-Pamela "Iris" Calvo-Guitar-Cradius-Bass-Felipe Cornejo-Keys-Gabriel Leon-Drums-Thennecan -Additional Karaoke Singers-Patricio "Pokerus Project" ThielmannFrancisco "Metaru" CifuentesRonin Op F,Thennecan Special Thanks toTakenobu Mitsuyoshi The full song will be avaliable on Spotify on Thennecan's profile.
