Audio from HTF: Third Strike DVD - Obligatory DVD Commentary

I recently watched all the HTF DVD commentaries. In one of the commentaries, co-creator Kenn Navarro does his Cuddles voice, and I just imagined that Cuddles was there, watching along with everyone else. So I’ve attempted to sketch out that scenario. Edit post: Don't know why the quality is so low on this. If I ever go back to this project, Ill upgrade the quality next time. Sorry about that.

AM'S HATE MONOLOUGE ANIMATED

Everything I did for my high school animation class, on newgrounds!

Just finished my high school animation class today! Had fun, I really liked the class. Here's all the projects I did for it. Here's some of my commentary for a few of these:

Anticipation/Exaggeration: Both of these were traditional animation, drawn on notecards. The process was cool but it was annoying and took too much time. We also used this fancy program "DragonFrame" for this!

Tweens/Bouncing ball: Both of these are crappy because they were just simple things to test out adobe animate our teacher had us do.

Rotoscope: Another time consuming animation, this took over a week. I used the original song clip but I had to switch it to a MIDI version for here.

Final: My favorite one! We could animate whatever we wanted for this. I chose a clip from smiling friends. The teacher really liked it and he told me he liked the show as well.

I know I said this but I really liked this class! Sucks that there isn't another animation class. Also I'm going to tech school next year so I can't take any other classes anyway. Song used:Waterworld SNES - Shop

(VOLUME WARNING+FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED)Fuzzy and Fluffy ask a stranger for directions!~~~~~~~~~~~~Okay, creator commentary time! First and foremost, I apologize for how long this one took in coming out, as I was sick for nearly 2 whole weeks earlier this month. But luckily it all worked out and I could complete it before Halloween. This project is actually a bit of an interesting one because it's a remake of a project I did for 3D Animation class last fall when we had to do a creatures themed short for Halloween, which is why everyone here is more round as they were originally low poly Animal Crossing-style models. I came up with these killer teddy bears, their C-3POesque worrywart owl friend, a rude scarecrow who's lost his scaring mojo and his pumpkin minion. This is the first Screwypilled Tooncels short that doesn't feature Rick, Roxy, Freddy or any of what my primary characters that I dub ''The Looneywood Acres Gang''. I did have a Halloween one with them planned but again, as I fell sick I had limited time and this one was further along completion. Plus I wanted to introduce these guys because they're just one in a group of rotating cast of Animaniacs/KaBlam-inspired secondary ensemble characters. I may eventually just pull a Smiling Friends and drop that one out of season so look forward to that.... This Christmas! Or Valentine's Day... Or Easter.... Regardless, I guess Rick's Demon Dilemma can sort of count as this year's Halloween cartoon with said Looneywood Acres crew since it had demons and released close enough to October. Those with a keen eye may notice I've actually featured these guys in a couple of easter eggs in some past projects since I like to do a lot of foreshadowing and early cameos. Here they finally are in the flesh! I initially intended to make them my sort of ''B'' segment cartoon but lately I'm leaning into making them more of a Kang and Kodos/Mr.Hankey deal where they only appear during their respective holiday season. This is also the first time Clover the puppy from my Hellhounds student movie has a proper speaking appearance in this series so I guess he's officially carried over from that. I may make my next cartoon feature Snowball, the other doggie that stole the heart of my classmates back in the spring.~~~~~~~~~~Sound courtesy of Pixabay Music:"Teddy Bear Waltz" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Watch on YouTube

I originally planned on something a lot smaller but the thumbnails I drew up were too hot and I needed to animate all of them XD I decided to challenge myself to get all the animation done within September and I actually managed to land that crazy schedule. I learned a lot about how best to schedule and manage my time during this project. The hardest part for me is often starting breaking up the project into small chunks with hard deadlines helped by continuing to push me forward and stick to the schedule. It's been a while since I've done my own VA work so hopefully its not terrible XD Nyx seemed to like it so I'm sure its at least half decent. I hadn't really planned on having a Male VA from the start but it felt like something was missing when I was putting together the edit and I didn't have time to do casting for it. The good news is we ended up with some additional dialogue between the two that I think helps tie the scenes together and keep the pacing moving. I also realized a bit too late that I happened to use the same music track that I did in Sinner and a Show XD oh well! Its a nice track, I like it, but I'll try to be more mindful of it or coordinate some custom music for larger projects in the future. There are a few things I'd probably go back and do differently now but overall I'm really happy with how the project turned out. I particularly love bounce in the side view shot and shot choice for the climax shots. One thing I want to play around with in the future is post processing. I'm currently I'm doing pretty much everything in CSP and it became very apparent that I need to figure out a better solution for future projects XD It was weirdly difficult to keep lighting consistent throughout this one and even now there's still some shots that might be a little off. There are so many things I want to study up on now like lighting, color, rendering, and I've certainly noticed some weak spots in my anatomy knowledge too that I need to brush up on. I'll save all that for the future though, until then enjoy the Saki seggs!

(Patreon) ----- Creator Commentary -----This animation started as a little reward for patreon, but I extended the initial deadline and it proceeded to consume an entire month of work. I can't believe my dumbass thought I could squeeze 100+ hours into less than10 days XD. It still ended up pretty constrained for time in spots but I'm still pretty happy with a lot of the shots. There's definitely room for improvement and things I'd definitely do differently now, but that'll have to be for future projects. I can already tell I've improved a lot over the course of this animation alone and learned so many things. One thing I want to work on in the future is composition. I feel like a lot of the shots in this one are kind of similar and a bit flat at times. I want to mix it up and add a bit more depth and direction to the shots. I feel like it could've benefited from some extra small shots too like a proper establishing shot or replacing some of the reused shots with a different shot. The other big thing is consistency and staying "on model", I feel like I should've spent a little extra time revising Calico's design and developing her ref sheet to add more clarity to the size, shape, and positioning of all her markings and revising her design. I draw her so much cuter now, that's need to be reflected in her reference material! I did a little bit of pre-production and it certainly helped, but due to the initial time constraints of the project before I extended it, things got a little rushed in some of the initial shots and I was too far in to go back and redo them. I should've given the thumbnails for the shots some extra iterations, looked at the project as a whole, and how contiguous shots would look next to each other. Oh well, there's always next time! For larger projects in the future, I'm definitely going to slow down and give them the proper love, care, and time they need. I'm looking forward to working on more animations!

At one time there was nothing but darkness, and then the Raven brought fire

"The Bells" By Edgar Allan Poe as sung by Phil Ochs "At one time there was nothing but darkness, and then the Raven brought fire." This, my dearies, is what I like to call a fiddly project. Something I work on if I can't work on other things for whatever reason, If I don't put it up now I shall never stop fiddling. Speaking of fiddling.... Making this thing into a Swf was taxing if ever there was tedium to be had! But I did really want to upload it here. You'll notice there were certainly some differences betwixt this version and the youtube version. Sometimes it was better others it's worse. Whichever you prefer. To the discerning myth fan, you may notice reference to several myths, but to everyone else, do not worry one does not need to have knowledge of these things to see what happens; Evil black ooze want to consume everything, A raven and three monkeys fight the evil. Those who watch me on DA warlord-of-noodles.deviantart.com/ may be familiar with Xipe Totec (Lady Murder), Xochipilli (The Flower Prince) Xochiquetzal (The Flower Empress), and Ixtlilton (The Healer), As well as some of the other fuzzbutts there. As you may have noticed I am borrowing VERY LOOSELY from Aztec Myth and Northern Native American Myth on this one and I plan to do a commentary to explain why I did what I did from a scholastic point of view, but you don't really need it. Mostly, it's just some fantastical battle what I wanted to make fun to watch to a song I adore by a poet with a lovely talent. If you want explanations to things, start reading my Brother Swan comic, I'll touch on it eventually.... Also the blackness is called "The Black Tezcatlipoca"... if anyone cared This is a battle that will have some reference on most stories I shall be doing that take place on Scourosi like Brother Swan warlordofnoodles.comicgenesis.com . And especially in a prequel to Brother Swan I shall be calling "No Evil."

HEY WASSUP. It's been a loooong while since I've submitted. Boy, did this one ever take a while. Not even really because it was hard to make or anything, but just because there were so many damn delays, like losing my computer for a month; or not being able to piece the two halves of it together for another month (the movie's been technically finished since May!), but I pulled through and am now able to bring you my first epic project WIF VOYSE AKTORZ AN EVRYTING. Oh by the way super special thanks to sonicmega and FatKidWitAJetPak for doing the voices! :D They also want you to know that they recorded these a while back and are even MORE amazing now. The movie is about 10 minutes long without the intro, credits, and bonus feature depending on how fast you read the non-voiced bits. This is my final parody, so I went out with a bang. I filled it with references, and I know that'll turn some people off but I think it works well. Whatever, it'll all be well when I start on my new, ORIGINAL series. Special thanks to Nerd-02 for making the Oh Damn song, HellboundNinja for making the Bellawesome userpage banner on my account, and anyone that's in the special thanks section of the credits! Hey yo can you folks recommend this for the Pokémon Collection? Kthx. EDIT: DAILY 1ST, DAILY 1ST, WHOOPEE! MY FIRST TROPHY AND IT'S A DAILY FEATURE! Oh, and Weekly 9th. Kick-ass! EDIT AGAIN (7/28/09): Aha! It appears I've snuck my way into the Top 50! >:) I don't know how; I mean I was 187th or something not too long ago, then all of a sudden I was creeping up all the way as high as 35th! :o It never showed itself in the actual Portal for whatever reason, but now it has. :) I will enjoy the 30 minutes it has left there; I already took a screenshot. <333 EDIT ONCE MORE: If you would like to see this with commentary by me and the guy that made Oh Damn; YOU NOW CAN thanks to one night of boredom and realization that my friend had an old microphone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQmLJs1OmU8 EDIT THE FOURTH (4/22/10): Huzzah, I hit 100,000 views! FINAL EDIT I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING: God, I'm sorry this is so long and all, but reading it wouldn't be too bad... like while it loads or something? Idk. IT FEELS LIKE THIS IS 5 MILLION YEARS OLD but it's been like, half a year since I put it up. WOW. It's gotten a lot of love (and some hate, but whatever) I was gonna do the internet is for porn, but it just wasn't working out and I got sick of the thing (I'm sorry guys :c) But I don't think I need to anyway, someone else can do it if they want because I don't have dibs or anything ._.; I'm working on whatever comes to mind because that's how I do things... Why is it that things only seem to get noticed when GAY is in the title, seriously, this is my only good submission XDDD Okay well I love you everyone, now stay healthy~
---
K, last edit for reals: This is well over 200,000 views. Holy. Christ. That's waaaay over 9,000. Haha... I'm actually glad this isn't on the front page anymore XD It's a lot less stressful. But that doesn't mean I hate you, Noobgrounds, it just means some people are especially obnoxious. But the nice people who take the time to give me a proper review, the ones who read this wall of text; you guys rule. And to everyone who enjoyed this, I love you too :D I'll be sure to provide you all with more stupid animations in the future <3
---
Okay, last edit: Weekly 4th place! Yaaay~ That's pretty cool! Especially since I never thought this would even be very popular. I only did it for funsies! Anyway, since there's a ton of people who keeps asking me THIS IS BY AVENUE Q. I wrote that in the description, but no one notices... it's even in the additional audio... SO NO, IT'S NOT KERMIT. And for all the anime haters out there... what is your problem? Fire Emblem is done in anime style, it's how I've always drawn, there are plenty of awesome games in the same style and some of you are ignorant enough to instantly call it crap. Tales of Symphonia, the Disgaea series, Okage: Shadow King, Final Fantasy; ALL OF WHICH ARE GOOD GAMES. Anyway, this commentary is way too long, but I'd like to thank all of you who loved this, it's made this whole week wonderful and I read every review (sorry I don't respond to them all @_@) but thanks again! I feel pretty awesome XD
---
MOAR EDIT: 50000 views! That's awesome! For those of you who want more, I'm working on "The Internet is for Porn" along with JakBaronKing (he wrote the script). So that's what's next! And btw...
To everyone who says LOL YOU NOOB SHEIK'S A GIRL (with half of you spelling sheik wrong) I know that Sheik is Zelda and is therefore female, but the purpose of her being in that disguise is to pretend she's a man so Ganondorf won't find her. I respect that and consider Sheik and Zelda to be entirely different characters. I'm sorry if you don't agree with me :P
---
EDIT: Omg Daily Feature! I'm so happy! Thanks everyone, I'm glad you enjoyed the flash~
--- The music is not mine, of course, but I drew everything and animated it (painstakingly XD) over a couple weeks. The first part was done months ago, but then I finished it recently, so there's a sliiight change because my art improved a little over that short time >.> It's not too noticeable I don't think. Anyway, this was tons of fun to make and I hope you enjoy it! (Which you should unless you're a jerk with no sense of humor)
