First Time Trying Edibles

An eccentric sleuth and his no-nonsense companion solve a mystery.

Its finally finished! Well, sorta lol. What can i say? Animation is expensive and its tough to get a fully rendered 18-minute cartoon without a $1 million studio backing. That being said, theres so much to enjoy from the hard work by HUMAN artists! Anyway, enjoy the show and Happy Holidays! Elastigirl is shirking her superhero duties... A collaboration from myself and Slappyfrog! It's just a simple loop, but I'm pretty happy with it, though I think the guy's hand movements could use some improvment. I went with 24fps for this one over my usual 12. It looks much smoother, and my thoughts were that it emulates the 24fps look of the film, where my 12fps is usually meant to mimic the look of 2d animated television.

The very first episode of Lazer Cat, the incredible cat that can fly and shoot lazers

well you see... its this cat... and he can fly... and shoot lazers.
and also he fights robots.

the first policeman and the man in the cafe are voiced by Jefferey... dont know his last name
The voice of the second policeman is Ben Hunter
The voice of the crazy kid that says "Oh my god its lazer cat" is Michael Gutierrez and also, I know its laser, but it sounds cooler with a Z, plus, i dont really care. HAH

The adventure of Skeleton Jack and the Temple of the Incredible Musical Cuttlefish!

Yay daily 3rd place, weekly 4th place and Review Crew Pick? Thanks NG! And thanks, reviewers for the tremendous support! Additional info in my first evar NG blog post:<a href="https://nightshadowtwo.newgrounds.com/news/post/307986">https://nightshadowtwo.newgrounds.com/news/post/307986</a> This is the result of 2-3 months of work done for a class assignment. Animation-wise, I'm slightly satisfied, background-design wise, I think I could have done better. Color-wise, I have no idea, since I'm actually red/green color-defecient (color blindness), I can't really tell how well my chosen colors have worked. Most were picked on the basis that it looked pretty good to me, and some, to be sure, had been eyedropper-tooled to obey logic. There are a lot of inconsistencies that remains in this animation due to a shortage of time to fix or I deemed not neccesary to fix because it is unnoticable. Feel free to point out any that you see. File size is 6,155 KB. Hope you enjoy this animation. Be sure to tell your friends if you like it! Cheers.

"WoodMan tries to destroy MegaMan before he foils Dr. Wily's Plans." This took me about a week to make, I could say it took longer than I expected because I had to redo the last scene. Flash can be a pain sometimes. Well enjoy! Voice Acting:

WoodMan Is Incredible

A special Edible Bite to finish off series 1!

We present to you, Newgrounds, Episode 10 of Edible Castle. This is the final episode of the first series and for now, the last of the Edible Castle cartoons. As you may well know, the release of this episode has come through a little online adventure that we set up. It was I guess, a kind of small scale Alternate Reality Game (ARG). We had around 3,000(!!) people looking for episode 10, but only one person is walking away with the prize pack we've mentioned before, and that is: Chris Conant of the USA, AKA RedNoseDonkey on the EC forums! CONGRATULATIONS to Chris! He's won a ton of goodies and will be having a character drawn in his image in a future one of our toons, as well as the chance to do the voice for it! Thanks to everyone who played, and a huge thank you to Tom Fulp for giving us so much unexpected support during it as well. We've had so much fun watching everyone play and hope to do more stuff like this again! But enough of all that, enjoy episode 10! It's a collaboration with a handful of popular NG animators. We gave them all the task of creating an EC-themed winter Olympic event. Once we had all the animations we put the sound to it, created the commentary, and POW! Episode 10. Until next time.. we hope you've enjoyed our little EC extravaganza. Join the forums! -------------------------
Credits: The Swain (Opening Ceremony)
Dim from Super Flash Bros (Action Skiing)
Mike Parker (Steed Bobsleigh)
Chase Suddarth from Tomorrow's Nobody (Snow Writing)
Lazy Muffin (Half Time Celebration)
EgoRaptor (Icicle Jousting)
Tom Fulp (Ice Licking) Thanks again everybody!

Edible Castle #10

The fellas are bringing theatre back into popular mainstream culture! exciting right?

EDIT- Episode 10 was found (thanks) and can be watched here on newgrounds I can't believe it! It's gone! That Wizard has stolen episode 10 which was scheduled for release tomorrow!! I'm in shock! We really need YOUR help to find it! He's not exactly a criminal mastermind so we're pretty confident we can track him down and get that episode on Newgrounds, where it belongs, as soon as possible. The more help we can get, the better, as a lot of talent contributed to this cartoon and we don't want to see it missing for long. Those involved in making the cartoon were Tom Fulp (Newgrounds), The Swain (Blockhead), Mike Parker (College University), Ego Raptor (Awesome Series), Chase Suddarth (Tomorrow's Nobodies), Dim (SuperFlashBros), Lazy Muffin (Nameless), me and Andy - so it's definitely worth the effort if you decide to help us out, especially as there's a reward involved: - an Edible Castle shop item
- a 15 page Edible Castle sticker book
- a Newgrounds T-shirt
- Newgrounds stickers
- a Newgrounds AngryFaic key-chain
- the chance to both be in and voice act in an Edible Castle cartoon
- a collaborative piece of artwork by me and Andy
- and a 2 pence sterling coin (it's probably worth like $2000 or something, I'm not sure what the exchange rate is at the mo) While we try our best to retrieve the episode, please enjoy episode 9. It's a period drama about the deceptions of political forecasting. -Andliam (really running out of ways to write our names here)

Edible Castle #9

Size doesn't matter, it's what you do with your sword that counts.

Only two more episodes to go, and the Edible Castle series 1 comes to an end. ): This one is about a mean troll, kind of like the one in the Monkey Island game. Only ours is real and doesn't eat fish. The more observant of you will have noticed our local gangster Wizard keeps showing up at the end of some episodes to strut his stuff, including this one. Like the king said, he's been writing weird stuff on their kingdom blog (<a href="http://www.ediblecastle.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.ediblecastle.com</a>). Maybe he's drunk again. Enjoy! -Willamdrew

Edible Castle #8

Warning: This cartoon contains nasty filth

Hi guys and gals. This is the fourth installment of the Edible Castle series. It's about dirt fetishes. Not only is this ep4, this is the first of SEVEN EPISODES that will be released EVERY DAY for the next WEEK. This is also a special occasion as the 10th episode will mark the END OF THE FIRST SERIES OF EDIBLE CASTLE! And POSSIBLY the END OF THE SERIES, FULL STOP! CAPITAL LETTERS! We hope you enjoy it, and look out for the next episode!! -William and Andrew

Edible Castle #4

Whenever Jimmy Tickles opens his jar of magic pickles, something incredible happens!!

What an experience this was! Originally commissioned for college, the brief was....well...pretty brief. "Do whatever you fancy" Unfortunately i didn't get they meant that only in regards to work ethic. Jump forward to 3 days before the college deadline and all I have to show for the holidays is a mean set of guitar hero blisters and a christmas induced perma-hangover. Here it is, a few days worth of epic fucking ball busting trying to make something worth watching. This flash is my very first tweened effort, let me hear your thoughts (tho not the messed up ones plz) Enjoy Harry loves you

Tickles' Magic Pickles

It's Halloween night at the Edible Castle. Shame everyone forgot about it.

Hey, thanks for watching our 3rd little Edible Castle episode. This one's my favourite to date, so i hope you all enjoy it! PS.. points for anyone who can find 3 characters who have all graced the Newgrounds Portal in this short.

Edible Castle #3

Hot Dog! It's the 2nd installment of the epic Edible Castle saga.

Hi there, here's another Edible Castle short. Enjoy it if you want. You should also check out the new Edible Castle site if you're a bit peckish.

2 Incredible powers clash to reveal the strongest

*Edit*
Ahhhh finally gotten into a collection. Thanks Everyone and thanks Tom
------------------
This movie Requires Flash 8
Ever thought of 2 great powers in a struggle to become the greatest? Well then here it is, Cell V.S Brolly!
Who will win this Epic struggle? ------------------
Here are some questions I have Recieved for my best Flash going yet : Cell V.s Brolly. Q:) You have alot of DBZ Sound effects etc, where can i get them ?
A:) Well for Brolly and Cell's screaming clips for when they charge i ripped by myself.
The sound effects.... i got from various sites AGES ago and about 5 sound clips from Alvin-Earthworm. Q:) The Bruce Faulconer themes you used in this flash, where can i get them ?
A:) I got them from the Bruce Faulconer Albums. To get them you can either go out and buy
them ..... i think you can only get in America though so.... however you can download
them from various downloading software such as : Limewire, Imesh etc.
(THIS IS ILLEGAL AND RISKY STUFF) Q:) Can you help me make a DBZ Battle ?
A:) I could..... however I'm not going to. No im not being a twat for not helping.....
my reasons are here:
1, If im not working on my own flash im not gonna be helping others ...... ill be out or
on a game etc.
2. I need to keep all the ideas for myself really. Q:) Can you send me all of the stuff you used for your movie ?
A:) No chance. I already have had some one steal a previous movie from Newgrounds and it
even passed onto it &gt;.&lt; and newgrounds has still done nothing &gt;(. For the sprites and
backgrounds etc i suggest just looking on <a href="http://www.Google.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.Google.com</a> and others. Q:) Will you be making another DBZ flash soon ?
A:) Im not sure...... in time i shall make another DBZ flash .... maybe a full length 1
... just like a real episode. Q:) How long does it take you to make flash such as this 1 ?
A:) Well depends on my mood. If im really in the Flash making mood i can work on it for
a long while and then i make more of it so it gets finished sooner Q:) Would you ever Take requests for battles ?
A:) Sure i will but as long as i have the sprite sheets. Q:) Who do you really think would win out of these 2?
A:) In my opinion Cell.....due to the level of super saiyan he lost to..... Q:) DBZ is GAY why make a pointless animation?
A:) Tis gay to you cause you've lost the childhood you once had and loved the show.
Now your old and have lost the kid in you....Kudos to your elderly life.
(I DONT HATE OLD PEOPLE)

Cell V.S Brolly

Edible Castle #1

here is episode four. it is, in fact, incredible.

Yes, we know it has been a long time since our last Tomorrow's Nobodies episode. here is episode four. it is, in fact, incredible. Aprox. 12mins

Tomorrow's Nobodies Ep.4

All Calderbank wants in life are some arms, sigh, just some arms.

Calderbank what a strange fellow you are,
Walking is no problem but you'll never drive a car,
You're no threat to me so can I punch you in the face?,
Haha, can't punch me back, you're a total disgrace. Love him, we love him,
Even though he has no arms at all,
Love him, we love him,
Even though he has no arms. Calderbank do you cry yourself to sleep?
You're no good to anyone - as stupid as a sheep,
I don't feel sorry for you, no, not at all,
Only when you trip up and theres nothing to break your fall.

Calderbank

The last ever 3 episodes of Whitmore, the Toad Pirate

An enemy pirate is on his way,
But not to Whitmore's alarm or dismay,
With a Yo-Ho-Ho he'll brandish his sword,
Take a firm stance and thrust it towards,
Any fool who gets in his way,
Or Barrington 'coz he's a bit of a prat.

Whitmore the Toad Pirate3

UPDATE: Okay, okay. Whew. Cat's off the front page. False alarm, everybody. Please return to your homes. This was my third installment and it's guaranteed to be the most horrible thing I've ever made. If you feel any seizures, nausea, annoyances, or feel compelled to throw away your computer while watching it, SHUT THE CARTOON OFF. I don't want to be held responsible for the demonic implications of this cartoon. It has little to no good animation whatsoever because I felt good animation would be wasted on this. I'm only posting it because it made milk come out of my brother's nose. The audio is done entirely by me, including that BOM noise. I could only make that noise once in my life, so enjoy it while you can. Also, sorry about the premature endings - for some reason, I think they're funny. So enjoy this terrible cartoon while you can. Have a nice day!
