Cuboy Ep.3

A special Edible Bite to finish off series 1!

We present to you, Newgrounds, Episode 10 of Edible Castle. This is the final episode of the first series and for now, the last of the Edible Castle cartoons. As you may well know, the release of this episode has come through a little online adventure that we set up. It was I guess, a kind of small scale Alternate Reality Game (ARG). We had around 3,000(!!) people looking for episode 10, but only one person is walking away with the prize pack we've mentioned before, and that is: Chris Conant of the USA, AKA RedNoseDonkey on the EC forums! CONGRATULATIONS to Chris! He's won a ton of goodies and will be having a character drawn in his image in a future one of our toons, as well as the chance to do the voice for it! Thanks to everyone who played, and a huge thank you to Tom Fulp for giving us so much unexpected support during it as well. We've had so much fun watching everyone play and hope to do more stuff like this again! But enough of all that, enjoy episode 10! It's a collaboration with a handful of popular NG animators. We gave them all the task of creating an EC-themed winter Olympic event. Once we had all the animations we put the sound to it, created the commentary, and POW! Episode 10. Until next time.. we hope you've enjoyed our little EC extravaganza. Join the forums! -------------------------
Credits: The Swain (Opening Ceremony)
Dim from Super Flash Bros (Action Skiing)
Mike Parker (Steed Bobsleigh)

Tom Fulp (Ice Licking) Thanks again everybody!

Edible Castle #10

The fellas are bringing theatre back into popular mainstream culture! exciting right?

EDIT- Episode 10 was found (thanks) and can be watched here on newgrounds I can't believe it! It's gone! That Wizard has stolen episode 10 which was scheduled for release tomorrow!! I'm in shock! We really need YOUR help to find it! He's not exactly a criminal mastermind so we're pretty confident we can track him down and get that episode on Newgrounds, where it belongs, as soon as possible. The more help we can get, the better, as a lot of talent contributed to this cartoon and we don't want to see it missing for long. Those involved in making the cartoon were Tom Fulp (Newgrounds), The Swain (Blockhead), Mike Parker (College University), Ego Raptor (Awesome Series), Chase Suddarth (Tomorrow's Nobodies), Dim (SuperFlashBros), Lazy Muffin (Nameless), me and Andy - so it's definitely worth the effort if you decide to help us out, especially as there's a reward involved: - an Edible Castle shop item
- a 15 page Edible Castle sticker book
- a Newgrounds T-shirt
- Newgrounds stickers
- a Newgrounds AngryFaic key-chain
- the chance to both be in and voice act in an Edible Castle cartoon
- a collaborative piece of artwork by me and Andy
- and a 2 pence sterling coin (it's probably worth like $2000 or something, I'm not sure what the exchange rate is at the mo) While we try our best to retrieve the episode, please enjoy episode 9. It's a period drama about the deceptions of political forecasting. -Andliam (really running out of ways to write our names here)

Edible Castle #9

Size doesn't matter, it's what you do with your sword that counts.

Only two more episodes to go, and the Edible Castle series 1 comes to an end. ): This one is about a mean troll, kind of like the one in the Monkey Island game. Only ours is real and doesn't eat fish. The more observant of you will have noticed our local gangster Wizard keeps showing up at the end of some episodes to strut his stuff, including this one. Like the king said, he's been writing weird stuff on their kingdom blog (<a href="http://www.ediblecastle.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.ediblecastle.com</a>). Maybe he's drunk again. Enjoy! -Willamdrew

Tons of short toons by your favorite artists!

The history of Bytesize goes all the way back to the late 90s, when we ran a series of streaming "gag" cartoons on the front page of NG. At some point the cartoons went stale and the feature seemed obnoxious, so we scrapped it. Almost a decade later, we reintroduced Bytesize with the big NG redesign launch of July, 2007. Only this time, it featured a much more expansive selection of cartoons by numerous artists from around the site. I decided it would be fun to give it a permanent place here in the Portal because it would also inevitably vanish from the front page. 2019 rolled along and it was brought to my attention that the player didn't work anymore. Due to a bunch of site changes, the directory with the individual shorts was gone and the whole player was due for an HTTPS update. Since Flash was on its way out, I decided to Swivel the individual entries and combine them into one video. During this process I realized we had actually been missing a ton of shorts from 2007; I had been using an XML file I manually wrote, before we made an admin tool to add additional shorts. This 2019 update is the first time everything has been available as hi-def video AND the first time a lot of these shorts have been available since the 2007 era.

Whitmore the Toad Pirate returns in this one off Hallowe'en Special!

Whitmore Toad Pirate rest your eyes and go back to the beast,
And as you fade from this world, you should take at least,
Some joy from those who loved you there,
Because your friends stay true even if you dont care. Have a horrible halloween I hope zombies poke your eyes out,
I hope goblins eat your ears off and witches feed you brussel sprouts,
Take my advice and hide away when Whitmore's around,
He'll take your soul chew it up and drag you underground. I hope werewolves gnaw on yours knees and little girls pull your hair,
I hope trolls stamp on you and ugly gnomes strip you bare,
So take my advice and run away when Whitmore's around,
He'll give you warts and stick things on you, yes .. things he's found... Like marbles and scissors and earmuffs and beef gristle,
And lions and tigers and bears, OH MY, and an old rusty whistle,
And all sorts of fruit like pears and possible an apricot,
That might sound nice but trust me, its not. I hope twiglets fill your mouth and I hope you dont enjoy them,
I hope the baggy trousers you're wearing suddenly fill with phlegm,
I hope gremlins tickle your back as evil spirits dance on your chest,
I hope you fail everything in life, yes, every single test. I hope you wake up tomorrow with frogs in your mind and pants too,
I hope you go blind and then and then step on monkey poo,
So take my advice stay clear of Whitmore, he's mean,
And dont forgot to have a horrible horrible halloween!

Calderbank 2

All Calderbank wants in life are some arms, sigh, just some arms.

Calderbank what a strange fellow you are,
Walking is no problem but you'll never drive a car,
You're no threat to me so can I punch you in the face?,
Haha, can't punch me back, you're a total disgrace. Love him, we love him,
Even though he has no arms at all,
Love him, we love him,
Even though he has no arms. Calderbank do you cry yourself to sleep?
You're no good to anyone - as stupid as a sheep,
I don't feel sorry for you, no, not at all,
Only when you trip up and theres nothing to break your fall.
