Hey everyone! Just dropped my latest animated short, and it’s a weird one.“Larry, the Dog Explodes” is live on Newgrounds! It’s a dark comedy about a very good boy having a very bad day. Squirrels, hot dogs, existential dread… and yes, eventually, an explosion. I promise it’s as bizarre and unpredictable as it sounds. If you’re into absurd humor, surreal vibes, and unexpected chaos, I think you’ll dig it. Took a while to animate but totally worth it.

Awesoman vs. Lenard

Guh glad that this is finally done. I'm like 2 weeks behind on other projects I have planned and I'm ready to take it a bit easier. Tired of drawing stupid detailed Nu Cani characters guh (and that's with me simplifying the designs a bit)But yea there's a bit less quality control in this one compared to the last one ngl. Just small things I didn't bother fixing like the bg not filling up the whole screen and not drawing certain layers to where you can see where it gets cut off in motion.Still though, learned more about using animate which was pretty cool. I could probably do some psuedo Live 2D animation (ala Nu Cani) with how I learned about the 3D rotation tool. I wanna do more smaller limited animation projects like this when I get my main priority projects out of the way. Also while working on this, I was feeling very self conscious about how I kinda suck at drawing on model. Like I dunno, I just can't chill out when I'm drawing the same thing but slightly different. Like drawing the same thing in 2 completely different angles is alright, but drawing say, 2 different drawings of the same character but still in side profile messes me up. I kept playing back my animation and seeing how Edmond looked like a slightly different character each scene and it irked me (but not enough to fix lol). I could go more into an existential tangent about this but I don't wanna that's cringeAnyways Edmond isn't he so prettyI love NG cuz I can just keep blogposting and no one will read itSong is hip by mamamooK poop

A unique blend of modern progressive metal which incorporates crushing guitarwork, dynamic vocals that flow from brutal to ethereal seamlessly; voiceover passages and sound effects which hone and craft the storyline while simultaneously capturing the listener's attention to transport them to another world; this album dives deep into themes of great and devastating loss, re-discovery, exploration, eternity, and nothingness, all while telling a familiar story in a completely novel way. This first offering from Ellimist is surely not one to miss!' IN THIS, the 10th track on the album; we describe the internal conflict between Toomin and the hive-mind creature 'Father'; the sponge-like, moon-sized behemoth living deep within the oceans of the blue moon. Capturing any wandering ships which stray too close to the waters, Father ensnares the bodies (and minds) of those unlucky enough to fall into his web. In this song, Toomin contemplates his constant losses in Father's games, which take place in mental simulations of various scenarios derived from the memories of the captured. He experiences the abject horror of being left to drift in an ocean of corpses, surrounded by the bodies of the last Ketrans, slowly giving way to an ever present existential dread; until, that is, by chance, he glimpses the path to victory with his discovery of music. Music changes Toomin profoundly, and with his mastery of the game of music, he is finally able to turn the tables on Father, absorbing the captive minds in Father's possession in the process, thwarting Father, escaping his tethers, and destroying the blue moon. With this, Toomin begin his transcendence into the Ellimist, a biomechanical, intergalactic being of immense strength, and embarks on his journey to find his place in the universe as the cosmic do-gooder... Lyrics:Father is all!Forced to fight, eternally ‘gainst a Menno from my memoriesA living corpse, never decayingThe endless mawForever tethered to the tendrils of the memoryFather is all(Spoken)It’s been lonely, with only the dead to keep me companyWhat is it that you want? You’re a gamer, are you not?Well, I simply wish to play a game...Shall we immerse? On the other sideClinging to a miscueOnly from me can demise come slowly into viewI must set them free! The Unemites are the keyAnd the end to this eternal miseryI MUST END ITStep into my lair, said the Dreth to the ChorkantYou’ve given me the tools I need to lead you to oblivionStep into my lair said the Dreth to the ChorkantYou’ve given me the tools I need to lead you to the endOver and over I best you, andOver and Over, I’m left to rotOver and Over, I’m left in a field of death I cannot escape fromOv-er and ov-er and ov-er, and ov-er and ov-er and ov-er andThe game is allforced to fight, eternally ‘gainst a Menno from my memoriesA living corpse never decayingThe endless mawForever tethered to the tendrils of the memoriesFather is allHow long until you realize? How long until you see that I’ve won...shall we immerse?ON THE OTHER SIDEIn the end, you are nothingA parasitic hive-mindOf planetary scaleA being without meaningAnd in the end I am becomingAll that you once were and moreA billion minds in one;I have become the multitude!(Spoken) The tendrils had penetrated deep, and when I finally freed myself, it nearly killed meAs I surfaced, every mind that I had acquired from father cried out in a thousand languages at onceI was overwhelmed, and in the end, Menno was right after allI had to adapt, or die...
