SO87 - Flight Times (feat. Moon Jelly) [MV]

Pinkeye achieves his dream of flight...somewhat.

Pinkeye achieves his dream of flight...somewhat. And now all of the episodes are on Newgrounds! Again, as with the others, this was originally made in 2021. I had to completely redo the sound design because the original version was difficult to hear.

Chicken to Chicken: Swine Flew

Music video for the song "Robots" by Flight of the Conchords.

I was in doubt if I should upload this one since it is an extended version, but then I remembered a lot of people wanted it in the reviews, and I realized this have twice more animation the last one have, so it's basically the same amount of work, and I really want to show it to the world, I think it's fair. Initially I wanted to animate over the longer version of the song but I could only find the shorter one, after uploading it people pointed out that the name of the song is "robots" and not "the humans are dead", so I was able to find the long version. Then I pondered if I should make the extended version, I'm not really a fan of extending things, seems like laziness and all, but at that time I watched the Flight of The Conchords TV show and got a lot more into their work so it made me want to go ahead and extend the animation over the longer song. In the end it took more time than the first one. That said, Flight of The Conchords is great, BUY THEIR STUFF, they had a TV show and it was amazing just like their songs. Anyway, I made music videos for practice, I have a lot of scripts to animate that I haven't touched because I'm a terrible animator, so I wanted to do some things without too much commitment first, I think I achieved my goal with these music videos, I'm ready to do my completely original animations, and you can expect a lot of them pretty soon. If you don't like it, that's fine, but please leave CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.
I hope you enjoy. Thank you.

CIRCUIT SKIRMISH 2 (disk1of2) This got front page AND review crew pick!? Thank you, Mr. Tom! And thanks to all who are writing reviews and such. Appreciated. Even if I don't respond to it, you can be sure I read it. The sequel is finally here. Well...the first part anyway. The little robot finds himself constantly fighting enemy robots of unknown origin, only to find that he cannot even remember his own origin. Still he feels the need to help, and that's where this short starts. It's about 4 minutes long. This time around the atmosphere's a bit more serious and there's the hint of a story behind the whole ordeal. I've used a couple 3d elements within some of the cuts (primarily the backgrounds). I've spent a little more than half a year working on this on and off, though I've been trying to mold the whole story up since the original came out. I haven't submitted anything in a while, and for that I apologize. 2007 was a rough year for me and I didn't have much time to animate then. Life has gotten a bit better but I still need to figure some things out before I keep working on Part 2. It might be a while! Anyways, ENJOY THE MOVIE!
