A fan animation of Dropout's "The Grinch Who STOLE Shark Week"

Oh hello! It's been a while. I'm a big fan of Dropout.tv and wanted to make this fan animation of one of their improvised bits on Make Some Noise. This is not affiliated with, paid by, or sponsored by Dropout, but they did give me their blessing to animate this, in the comments of their own video, here: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M3zo6Ap9aE" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M3zo6Ap9aE</a> If you want to see me animating in Flash, come to my interactive Twitch stream! <a href="https://www.twitch.tv/gelatinguy" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.twitch.tv/gelatinguy</a> Thanks to all my Twitch viewers and Patreon supporters!

Smash Kingdom: Here Comes My Hero

Repost old art done 2017 Im really sorry that I haven’t spoken on this video, I kinda haven’t got confidence to record myself, it not talking that bothers me, its the fact I can press play and hear my voice again and again XD im fine chatting on livestreams and in person I can talk until your ears bleed off.
Maybe I get over it one day but meh depends on how these video go.
But do let me know if you prefer hearing a voice over on these videos and if anyone knows how to get over the whole I hate hearing myself thing please let me know. So now let blab about the fARTS
This was my 1st time using sharpies to colour normally they just sit around on the side doing nothing or being used for the most random scribbles lol
I did record the lineart getting done but my camera was a twat and decided to mess up the recording
for the lineart I used a letraset fineliner as my black sharpie was looking naff (tip was flat) I did try using the copic fineliner but that one smudged quite a lot even when I left it to dry for abit. As the sharpies are had where quite bright vibrant colours I went with an 80’s theme (im an old git 80’s baby)
colouring with them was fun thou I was unsure what I was doing with them, I was amazed I managed to get the pens to slightly blend I also did the super simple background couple days later because when I finished colouring the girl I was like I aint got a clue what to do for the background and scared I go OTT with it and reck the piece but couple days later I google some ideas for 80’s pattern and find a simple one that would work. Big head up if your gonna do this, have a door and window open seriously I was a pratt and did it in a small room door and windows closed and it gave me a banging headache. Hope you enjoyed watching the video! Tools used Letraset Fineliner

Newgrounds Versus final round - gel vs jerm

Note: the contestents were given only two weeks to complete these movies! Jerm... Gel... These are the finalists for the end of the season of Newgrounds Versus. They pulled no punches with this round of movies for you to vote on. THIS IS THE FINAL BOUT. Gratitude goes out to all who donated for the prize fight. Enjoy the show! -T0MMY Message from Gel:
"Also, I'd like to address what seems to be of concern for many reviewers on NG. Yes, you can move the sticks. No, it's not an accident. As if you could just magically move the joints without me explicitly coding it that way. Easter egg people! Another area of confusion/concern seems to be the main character, Ryle. "That was really good, but why did the stick turn into the aol logo?" For those unfamiliar with stick movies, whenever sticks in movies try to add some depth and dimension to their sticks, they jsut make a fattter stick and outline it. Many times it comes out looking like the AOL guy. I was parodying the characters in stck movies. In fact, the entire movie is a parody of stick movies. The line "stick don't bleed like that" is a jab at how most stick animators make blood float in the air for like 2 seconds before it slowly disappears. Ah well, the jokes are only for people familiar with stick movies anyway, so if you don't get the joke it wasn't meant for you."

Newgrounds Versus - Final

Wink goes on another adventure, or DOES he? Find out!

Originally created for NG Versus Round 5, the competitor dropped out, so the movie sat around, doing nothing, until now! Wink manages to sneak into the movie and has another crazy adventure. Stick around for the preloader game, as it's quite fun! Oops! I submitted an earlier build of the movie, so I've just uploaded the correct one! Also, don't forget to watch the movie, as the game is just the preloader.

"Peoplemation" from the creators of "Love, Wink"

[update 9.25.05] I've just updated the file with a video capture that is much cleaner. You've heard of animation... you've heard of claymation... but now Dustball and gel bring you a Peoplemation. The file size is large, but it will be worth the wait! This movie was animated in 2001, and stars gel, and is directed by me, Dustball, with my very FIRST attempt at composing music for a movie. Enjoy!

Newgrounds Versus Round 2 Gel vs Shawn Hollern

Good evening ladies and gentlement, for your viewing pleasure we have two heavy weight champions competing in this NGVS bout.
In one corner is the 99k champ, Gel!
And his opponent for this evening is Newgrounds Jam veteran, Shawn Hollern!
Please take a moment to donate a dollar for the fight prize to encourage more great fights and entertainment!
Let the blood splatter!

Newgrounds VS: Round 2

Turn up the speakers, sit back, and enjoy yourself. Wink is back! Who is Wink? It's the blue guy from 99K! Now he's in his own full-fledged adventure, and this time, he's not entirely naked... The movie starts with a little dress-up game to keep you occupied while the it loads. Aside from the hidden clothes you can find throughout the movie, there are also easter eggs scattered about, so have fun finding them! But please, watch the movie the first time through without clicking around. Once the movie's done, you can commence your hunt. Note: "Original Score by Dustball" means that all the music was composed by Dustball specifically for this movie. I think he does commissions, so go ahead and SPAM him. 99K: Tasty animation in a tight little package!

I don't know if anyone else cares, but small movies on NG usually suck. So, I set out to prove that folks can make a decent movie in under 100K. This is the result. I hope the story isn't too confusing! Sorry the sound is low quality, but you try fitting all those sounds into 99K! It's even in 16kbps and I "cleverly" reused the sounds through the use of in-Flash amplitude envelopes. Betcha can't tell the first two squeak sounds are the same exact file! All crappy sounds made by me. I had a little extra space left over (4K) so I made a little game for the preloader. My hi score is 57 points! (Note: For those of you familiar with Actionscript, the shapeflag in the hitTest is set to false, so don't be complaining that you swear you clicked on him and he still kept falling, because you're even allowed to grab the bounding box. My code is glitch-free!) The instructions are in the preloader which may take a few seconds to load (9K). Hope you like it! Update (a few hours after submitting): What's this? The score is above 3.50? Wow, thanks! Right after the judgement process, the score was only 3.32. Does this mean there are people out there that blam little movies before they watch them? Eviiil...
