Back to Portrait videos for this one. Eva is one of the more interesting mothers in Umineko to unpack. If you've read Umineko, chances are you already know why. Wanted to play with the glitch effect in Procreate and try to work it into an animation. Please look at the content warnings and see if Umineko is something you'd like to try.

Cartoon and Dot Matrix style visual remake.

An early attempt of NORS to branch out into food reviews has been remade exclusively for Newgrounds into a simple animation through the elements of our moderately successful recent uploads. Another day was spent gratuitously breaking down and repainting Jasper and Gaius' first Publix food review video and trying to be sure to use just the right effects to accompany the frames for this simple animation. Original video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsEmNJxgI38 On Another Note: Big Progress on Our Music Video Adventure! We’ve infused some enchanting elements inspired by Strawberry Switchblade, added delightful glitchy rotoscoping magic, and embraced vaporwave aesthetics in our latest edits. Stay tuned because we can’t wait to unveil more magic soon. Your support means everything as we pour our hearts into every frame. blog.spacehey.com/entry?id=1025559

Concept and InspirationThe idea behind Mario and the Purple Spot came from MrSeb81’s fascination with glitch art and video game lore. He wanted to explore an unusual plot point in the Mario universe, where the normally cheerful world of Mario is disrupted by a strange, unexplained phenomenon: the purple spot. The concept was to give Mario a task that felt strange but oddly relatable—much like the frustration players feel when encountering a glitch they can’t solve. Character DevelopmentMario’s character, usually a fearless plumber, was portrayed in a slightly more confused and paranoid light in this short film. Voice actor behind Mario (MrSeb81 himself, perhaps!) went for a more stressed, edgy tone throughout the video. Mario questions the purple spot’s existence, often engaging in humorous inner monologues that reflect the absurdity of the situation.Supporting characters, such as Luigi and Toad, make brief but impactful appearances, each offering their own ridiculous theories about the purple spot. These small cameos were improvised, adding a spontaneous flavor to the character dynamics. Set Design and Visual EffectsThe purple spot was no ordinary visual. In post-production, MrSeb81 experimented with glitch overlays, using vibrant purples and pixel distortions to make the spot look out-of-place in Mario’s typically vibrant, cheery environment. Using modern editing tools, they were able to give the purple spot an eerie glow that hints at something "off" in the Mario universe. Many of the sets were classic Mario worlds recreated using fan-made 3D models and custom animations. The contrast between the crisp 3D designs and the glitchy, ominous spot is one of the video’s highlights.

A bomb infiltrates a base just to steal a gun.I attempted to capture the old flash animation vibe. I'm finally uploading again! (yay)I made this for an art project in just a week and a half (With 3 days of procrastination). I hope you enjoy! Btw, sorry for the little crosshair that appears in the video. Wick Editor's camera does that for some reason.Warning! there's an audio glitch at 0:33. It's really loud. This has now been fixed.
