Mini-Episode 1: A GRADIENT OF CONSCIOUSNESS

A chef named Johan does everything wrong when handling meat.

Check out my ANIMATION YT CHANNELS-https://www.youtube.com/@stringanimehttps://www.youtube.com/@UCzusrs6aDzKs9mfAWf9SG9g "COOKING" is an animation from 2000, made in MS DOS. It centers around a chef named Johan that does everything wrong when handling meat. The software used was Autodesk Animator Pro. This was a collaboration with my friend Jon, who came up with the concept. The voices and SFX are from these websites-https://sounds.spriters-resource.com/arcade/paperboy/asset/446729/https://freesound.org/

After the previous Pikmin Bit, I still wanted to hit the Thursday deadline. I just wanted to see if I could do two Bits within a week, albeit two very brief ones. This is definitely my largest amount of frames drawn within one shot. In total, I did 54 individual drawings. Now to sell each individual cel used, since this was def a found fotage of a pikmin pilot from 19993. You know, I'm happy that the Puffy Blowhog's corpse can be collected since Pikmin 3. TAKE THAT YA DUMB BALLOON. The boards for this particular Bit were done in a delirious night I had thinking of the time some dude was chatting me up about Political Figure #366910 when I was trying to work. Like, my friend, pleaaaase get more interesting if you wanna talk to a cute cartoonist....Oh, is this a Wendy's? Ah, kay, see ya later. The background here was heavily influenced by the style of Cow & Chicken. A simple gradient didn't feel full enough, so I added the spiral thing some episodes had. I think I'll do more spirals for the backgrounds of future Pikmin Bits, it feels creepy, and Pikmin is creepy.

PIKMIN BITS: Puffy Blowhog Blows It!

Update 1: Added cool new gradient effects, unfortunately, they don't work with Ruffle.

Little Billy

If the Goddesses, Goddeils and Gods intervene, will they prevent chaos or seal the world's fate?

Lor'Avvu Prelude

like this theoretically could have been made as early as 2005 (maybe blending modes came a little later

Artifacts

Also lack some details, but adding gradients seems to cover that up a bit.

Back, briefly, with some fanart. It's a very simple loop, but there are a lot of details. I've been experiementing with color, gradients, hand drawn elements, etc. for the next big project. I need a place to host my art, until I can get a website. If you know of a more appropriate one then newgrounds, or know how to put together a really basic website, I will love you forever. Please let me know. See you soon. T.
