Animated short based on a Tarot Arcana made for Prospect Heights Art Club

I made this animation short based on my contribution for Prospect Height Art Club. I went to Greenwood Cemetery at Battle Hill for getting one Tarot Arcana card and they gave me The Hermit arcana. I made this animation based on The Hermit as my submission, but the organizers told me they need an image not a video file. So I grabbed one frame from the animated short and use that as my submission. Now after finishing my entry for PHAC's Failed Film Festival (get the ticket here) this year, I am going to share this animated short with you all. And also, it was a good way to practice using Davinci Resolve as an alternative to After Effects and Blender. I have always wanted to make an animated piece based on Tarot cards, and the one that's cut-out animation. And here it is.

Suburban G.O.A.T. dares where no goat has ever dared before.

It is recommended that you don't use earphones. The audio volume otherwise is tame (to me). 7/20/2025 Not enough people talk about the demonic presence of that bird. Everyone's like "eugh he stole my rupees eugh he stole my sword euuuugh he's so annoying" but no one ever talks about how he can steal your soul with a single medusa glance or how terrifying he looks just by flying towards you or how many sleeper agent dreams I've had of this thing over the course of 25 years or how his double buns look like googly eyes from behind and oh god he looks like Yorick from Sam and Friends my god guys the video where Yorick eats Kermit the Frog is so damn scary scary scary why is nothing scary anymore we live in such a milquetoast society.

A hermit crab is chided by his dad for still living in a 'rental' shell instead of owning.

Visiting for family dinner, a hermit crab is chided by his dad for still living in a 'rental' shell instead of owning property. A generational clash of crustaceans! Made in Adobe Animate and After Effects using the EDAPT rigging plugin.

Sometimes, the closest thing to a partner has to make do.

Managed to get my hands on the Tao model and the Hermit Bandit models after playing Gunfire Reborn for the first time the past couple of days. Shame there's not many models available, so this is one of the few things one can do with them. Main concept was Tao in heat, so she disarms and fucks the last guy in an area, so he's gonna be alive for longer... For good reason, one is unsure.

Dungeons and DrawBombs Episode 1 is finally here! Our intrepid adventurers set off in a quest against the odds and Internet service providers! Schmizard the Wizard and Branthor the Great begin their newest adventure that is sure to involve a series of interesting and unique characters as they try to eke out a living in Ridiculous Medival World™ Episode 1 took a while to come out because of various other projects that got in the way and because I really don't enjoy editing footage of myself, but here we are. It may be a couple weeks but episodes 2 and 3 are on their way. In the meantime, I'm still having frequent chats with Internet folks so our connection can finally not be terrible, and when that happens we'll record more episodes so that I have even more footage of myself to cringe and edit through. This is the story of Aurora Pierce, one of the main characters of Dreamworld. Intro and Chapter 1: Death and EstrangementAfter the death of Her mother Angela at the age of 17, Aurora falls into a depression and drops out of school, becoming a hermit. Her father Ryan is made angry by her decision despite Aurora's obvious grief, and so their relationship deteriorates. This is a short animatic I'm doing for Aurora. Once finished, I'd like to record VAs and add in music.I'm expecting the full animatic to be about 3-6 minutes long. Let me know what you think Take Care and God Bless
