First Parade of '25 (Hours Long Repainting) in Norascopy and Dot Matrix

Sequel to Dot Matrix World Gate utilizing two animation styles this time - Rotoscoping over the specific moment of the parade with NORS (which we hope you will look into) and more use of the dot matrix style from the last video. It took hours to create and repaint - so far exclusively for Newgrounds with this video partly in celebration of the previous upload and those who supported it within the communities we are a part of. The title refers to the song "This Time of NIght" by New Order (our favorite band and major musical inspiration) who we have to thank for the rare remix of music. If you’re interested in NORS, feel free to check us out here: <a href="https://www.norsupdates.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.norsupdates.com/</a> On Another Note: Big Progress on Our Music Video Adventure! We’ve infused some enchanting elements inspired by Strawberry Switchblade, added delightful glitchy rotoscoping magic, and embraced vaporwave aesthetics in our latest edits. Stay tuned because we can’t wait to unveil more magic soon. Your support means everything as we pour our hearts into every frame. <a href="http://redirect.viglink.com/?key=71fe2139a887ad501313cd8cce3053c5&amp;subId=7368125&amp;u=https%3A//blog.spacehey.com/entry%3Fid%3D1025559" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">blog.spacehey.com/entry?id=1025559</a>

The Hero is back in anime form to kick some butt or something

The Hero is back with another terrible anime!??! Oh gosh no... I can't believe another non-cannon special is back in cartoon form or something. Anyway, in this episode, he goes up against some villains that haven't even been in the live action series yet because funny. Don't worry, they will make their debut in the future as those episodes are in some form of production and/or post-production. This also is its own thing and doesn't do any retelling for older episodes. If you'd like to watch the full, live action series, please check it out here: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYlj--1oywI&amp;list=PLjAAC6H_aB6XoGglN5wo4A1P57YqovbL7" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYlj--1oywI&amp;list=PLjAAC6H_aB6XoGglN5wo4A1P57YqovbL7</a> Real talk, I did this for my storyboarding class and got tired of storyboard pro because it's terrible. So I took matters into my own hands and made something in Vegas Pro because I'm stubborn. The Hero's 2nd Terrible Anime

Thanks for watching my independent animation! Please consider supporting me! Be sure to subscribe and hit the bell so you don't miss a cartoon! LOVE YOU (I've decided to start chatting about my work in the description moving forward. Have a read if you're interested in my process!) vv Well Episode 2 is here. This is easily my favorite piece of art I've ever created. I had a really good time adding some action shots to an otherwise action-less episode of my work. I really love this high contrast pallet. The crazy bright characters turned out sooo good on the dark corporeal realm court room. I certainly intend to write a script that capitalizes on these sort of visuals for my next project. In this episode we meet Katie Spring. Man did Corgan ever demolish this performance. It was so fun watching her bring Katie to life. The performance is so energetic that it motivated me to do all her over-the-top expressions. originally she wasn't going to be on screen when telling Kal about the Keepers. But the performance was just too good to not have her on the screen. I've tried to not dump a huge amount of exposition in my work. It has sadly led to a lack of understanding from the audience. So in this episode I tried to lay out a lot of what's going on, in addition to preserving some mystery. I have begun writing the script for my NEXT project after STPPM is complete. This storywriting problem is the number one priority moving forward with said script. While I love this episode, I want the exposition and action to be more intertwined moving forward. I got to voice Damian, the Keeper of Radness. This is one of my favorite performances ever. Damian is so fun to perform,. I feel more attached to him than I do playing Kal. I fear Kal is a flat lead character. Which leads me to not be super stoked on the performance, or animation. This is a problem I plan to eradicate when moving on to the next series. I do like Kal. He will be much more meaningfully interesting towards the back end of STPPM. But I simply feel hes outshined by Katie and Damian. I'm excited to write new characters with these self-critiques in mind. I think that's all I have to say about Episode 2 for now. I had so much fun with it. The colors being the big winner, But the performances, stepped animation, and shot composition were all such amazing highlights. Can't wait to for more animation soon! SWEET FOR NOTHING - Official Teaser Trailer

An animatic about that time Ron Simmons and JBL got into a bunch of actual barfights

I'm thinkin' this is Season 4 Episode 10 of WWE Storytime? This was originally made for Lowbrow studios in 2019. Directed by Mike Parker, supervised by Julia Slaughter. This was the first of the WWE Storytime animatics I ever did for Lowbrow, and I love it the most. I actually wasn't raised around wrestling or the WWE, so I remember calling up my best friend from high school. He was, and still is to some extent, so I was like "I'm working on this thing. Do you know about the APA?" and he lit up and went off "AWWW DUDE, THEY'RE SO COOL!" and hyped me the hell up to work on this, and I think a lot of his second-hand excitement for the project bled into this, and I made sure I did Ron Simmons and JBL justice. To this day, I still don't watch a lot of wrestling, but because of this animatic, I keep an eye out for 'em. This was also a super challenging time in my life when I was working on this. I was still at the Cyanide &amp; Happiness studio and I was starting sobriety. I remember I was in a headspace like "Enough is enough, I'm going cold turkey, not a drop anymore." And it was October 2019, so there were holiday / Halloween parties afoot at Explosm. I had gained a reputation as a tank- I could put beer and liquor away like nobody's business, so they were making announcements (innocently, I was being quiet about my sobriety) "Hey, if anyone wants to help empty out this keg, come and get it!" And gritted my teeth. Free alcohol within walking distance, and it had been so normalized in my weekly routine (especially Fridays) that it was really difficult to deprogram. Then I get started on this WWE thing at home, and it's ENTIRELY about drinking and having a blast while drinking and I'm just like Goddammit... it was the hardest month ever, and as I'm drawing these guys with their bigass beer mugs I'm just thinking the whole time "Sure looks like fun." ...Then it was my birthday in November, family drinks at Thanksgiving. Then it was Christmas with family. Then it was New Years Eve, while all kinds of shit was going down. Then COVID happened. Somehow I stuck with it. If I could conquer my chemical dependency to alcohol, it's bolstered my belief that I'm stronger than a lot of things. According to my EasyQuit Drinking app, I'm at 3 years 7 months 12 days as I type this. This animatic holds a really special place in my heart for a lot of reasons. It's my first contract animation job OUTSIDE of Cyanide &amp; Happiness, first time working with Lowbrow, it was a really fun story and I got to do a lot of fun things in it. Not sure how much of it made it into the final cut. Like the Ginyu Force homage, or the "Satan Squad" logo (which I slipped in as a reference to the God musical episode of Season 3, The Cyanide &amp; Happiness Show). But I think this one was a huge reminder to tone it down on some of the details, because they might not make it into the final product anyway and it's a big waste of time. A lesson that was repeatedly learned throughout my time with C&amp;H, a cartoon with stick-figures, but I digress. I have a passion for details and background gags.

WWE Storytime Animatic - APA Barfights

beware the strobing lights!

Made this video to promote my new album.

Gregmania 3 Promo

I liked the result though I did have some weird export issues such as the contrast being a bit too high

Maybe someday MV

A experimental short soundscape using minimalist shapes. Letting the visual take a backseat and animating to audio.

High contrast flashing image warning.

Sending Smoke Signals

adventures of Lund, Shrum and friends as they travel to skyrim and follow their new lifes as owners of a contract

Helm Hold Skyrim Machinim

For this guy, I focused on high contrast and extreme saturation as well as no saturation at all.

The Back Room

Compare, contrast, whatever, I just hope you enjoy it!

NEW Tywo At Large Ep. #1

Can we be forgiven even if we betray the ones we love?

EDIT 3* Hahah. Woo hoo. Thanks Tom, I think, for putting this is in the serious shorts section. Great! :) Also, for some time now I've been trying to bump the score up to a 4.00 and it just hasnt been working, but its finally there thanks to you guys :0 EDIT 2*I would like to say to all who have appreciated this work: Thank you so much! The audience of this piece is unbelievably suprising. Hmm. Oh ya I would also ask if some of you guys could suggest this to the noir section or mabey serious shorts. mabey together we can get it in, i dunno. thanks alot! :) EDIT 1*Front page! I love newgrounds! Thank you so much for your support! Also thanks to all who tried desperatly to discover the meaning behind this animation! It makes me feel good! :)* I planned this one out pretty graphicly in my mind. I had planned the elevator scene before I even started working on scene one. So after about 7 months of off and on work, its done. For this guy, I focused on high contrast and extreme saturation as well as no saturation at all. I also focused on the theme, which may be hard-core invisible to you guys, but I would love to see some reviews which try to guess the moral of the story, so to speak. Enjoy and thanks for watching!
