YouTube: https://youtu.be/I8IAUqY71t0 The episode may be called "Genie Meanie" but honestly, i think "Genie Dictatorenie" is the more accurate title! Anyways, this is the longest i've ever spent on a animation, 3 days of story-boarding, 2 days of drawing backgrounds, 4 days of animating and 10 hours of editing. I had a lot of fun with this EXCEPT the editing, my pc is just too dang week, and i had 1,053 individual frames to import (compared to the usual 400 minimum and 600 maximum) And it was a roller-coaster, some stuff went smoothly while other times, it either crashed or blue-screened (which has been an issue ever since the early summer of 2025) There's some errors that were sadly out of my control, at some point, when my PC blue-screened, my project file got corrupted and moved only a couple of frames backwards, it thankfully wasn't too drastic, but in a split second, Ibro's Mouth vanishes, and some shots have lip movements and sfx out of sync cause the frames were slightly pushed backwards and played 2 frames earlier. And i sadly didn't have the time to fix those 3 shots, but that's thankfully only 3 shots (And when i finish Season 5, i'll fix some of those issues in the "Season Marathon" like what i always do) While the editing part was exhausting, i still had fun with 90% of the production and i like the final result since my OG vision still shines through! :) Let me know if you guys wanna see more episodes like this with unapologetically evil villains, as for Max himself, he'll appear in another season 5 episode so if you like him, you'll be hooked for his next appearance Special thanks to @JunoToons for letting me use his music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjN5Adnjwso and @ Ibrox-Newgrounds for voicing himself [This part here is copy-pasted from all my previous descriptions, if you've already read it before, then you don't have to read it again] Disclaimer: The voices in this cartoon are all done by me, but certain characters have their voice modified through a voice changer, the choices to some of these voices may sound random but trust me, that is how I imagined these characters (i have a weird imagination i know). I don't have money and can't get a job to pay for VA's (they're private reasons, I don't feel obligated nor comfortable explaining why) and i am actually open to working with free VA's but I'm also skeptical cause of my previous experience, not to mention the long waiting times, or the fact that the voices just aren't it, which is why i don't work with them either (But i can and will, IF i find the right men!)

Late by a few months who would've guessed, but holy SHIT it's finally DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For everyone wondering why I've been silent for the past year and a half, IT WAS THIS!! (╬⊙皿⊙;) So, long story short, around March or April of 2023 Shleptboi came to me with the proposal of joining the Newgrounds Dreamcast Collab and making a toon for it, and I was hesitant at first because none of the shorts were taken but I know if I picked Jet Set Radio that'd I'd have to deliver as hard as I possibly can- and I hope I did! After some back-n-forth I finally decided to claim the short, and thus commenced the development of "how the hell do I turn Jet Set Radio into a cartoon with a plot to follow!?" The first script we (Shleptboi, raivnn, and I) had came up with was really good, but it was also like 70/80 cuts adding up to 5 minutes total of animation, and the team and I tried to pursue it, but it just wasn't happening orz Not to mention I didn't really like how my cuts were turning out, so halfway into the second half of 2023 I decided to scrap everything we made and start from scratch, with a very simple story in mind. After groveling for a bit I came up with a schizo-chart to plot out the storybeats, then I immediately went into boarding. Surprisingly, this time the flow of the story just came naturally to me! That story being the one you are about to/just have watched. There was a point where my Discord account was hacked and I had to finish the rest of the animation using my iPhone as a file transfer to get the other animator's work on my computer, it was a whole process, but im glad that in spite of that I was able to finish this and with this amount of quality, I am quite proud of what my team and I were able to put together (゜▽゜)o☆ CASTGum - DenshaVAPiranha - meulinexMew - BunniBabzBeat - ShleptboiRed Noise Tank - VILLAINBlue Noise Tank - Seamus64Noise Tank Leader - crishatesyouDJ Prof. K - LuckoDaStars (King Cole) WritingWriters - Shleptboi, tofokyo, raivnnStory Outline - tofokyo, Shleptboithis shit went through like three iterations, im tired man EditingStory Editors - tofokyo, Shleptboi, raivnnDialogue Editors - Shleptboi, raivnn StoryboardStorybeats - tofokyoRevision #1 - raivnn, tofokyo, JrembyRevision #2 - tofokyo Background Art & Jet Set Radio - Sweet Soul Showdown

[Super Mario RPG] A retelling of the Star Road Warrior’s story in an animatic format.

The Star Road Warrior’s story retold in an animatic/motion comic format. SPOILER WARNING: This animation covers a lot of ground in the Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars storyline. Despite some of the original storyline being retold in a different light in this project, I recommend playing either the original game or the remake first if you want to avoid any potential Super Mario RPG spoilers. Frogfucius, also warns you at the beginning XD If you couldn't tell already, I'm a huge fan of the Mario RPGs, and PMTTYD and SMRPG: LotSS are two of my favorite Nintendo games. It's so exciting that these two RPGs were both remade and released within a year apart from each other (and M&L: Brothership later this year as well!). It’s wild that the Super Mario RPG remake was developed by Nintendo and Square Enix, which seems like an unlikely partnership nowadays! I can't believe these two remakes are still real! Be on the lookout for many hidden Mario RPG references - across the Super Mario PRG, Paper Mario, and Mario & Luigi series in the animatic. At the announcement of the Super Mario RPG Remake I started to work on this animatic. With my Donkey Kong animation nearing completion I decided to sideline that project for a little while and make DK the priority. Returning to this project every so often with my interest perked at more Mario RPG announcements, I decided to complete this in a more animatic-like format. For anyone unaware of the character Geno (or ♡ ♪ ! ?) from Super Mario RPG, he is a star spirit that inhabits a wooden doll owned by a young Toad boy, named Gaz. Geno has been sent from a “higher authority” to restore peace in Mario’s world. His purpose is essential to the Super Mario RPG storyline, and when fighting in battle he acts as a glass cannon (with high offense and low defense). In my opinion, he is one of the coolest and chillest Mario characters and he has only been on this one stand alone game (with a few notable references in other Nintendo games). Square (Square Enix nowadays) had previously described Geno having close resemblance to "Pinocchio" in a Nintendo Power article. This animatic is a little unorthodox and in some ways feels closer to a finished animation and in some ways not. It's more of a hybrid between a motion comic and an animatic, with some more heavily animated elements mixed in. I also wanted to give each character their own unique outline color, to make them all stand out from each other as well as background elements. The colored outline for the characters also represents life - which is most notable when the Geno doll is inhabited by the star spirit. It may be disappointing that this is not in full color and as of sharing this, I don’t plan to continue to build on this project, in an effort to pursue newer and different animation ideas. This project was not built at all with Adobe Animate (my typical animation tool), instead I had just used Adobe Photoshop and created animation through the use of layer comps. This style is mostly experimental and I don’t plan to continue in this format. Initially this process seemed to work quite well (when more story boarding the animatic), but when it came to animating sections the process felt a bit clunkier in my opinion, despite the ease to create some different line work and broader depth in shading the characters. This animatic also brings back my amateur voice acting and this surely tested out my range with a whole bunch of characters lol. I had a focus on trying to voice all of the characters and avoid the use of any voice clips from Mario games. It was fun trying to recreate some classic Mario voice impressions and at the same time create new voices for Geno, Mallow, Bowyer and other Super Mario RPG characters. First day on the job? Dealing with the mob? At least your boss isn't a slob.

Although he leaves room for improvement, Jack meanders his way across town searching for jobs before stumbling over his own unlaced shoes and a “helpe wontid” sign in front of a dilapidated store front. Haphazardly shuffling inside, Jack was not ready for the marvelous misadventures on which he was soon to embark. Following a series of inexplicable sounds, Jack encounters what one can only describe as the physical embodiment of rotting meat and left-on-the-counter cream cheese, Mark Pimento. He's the kind of guy that could possibly be working for the mob whilst also predicting your future. You know that one uncle of yours that shows up with a stained shirt and unkempt hair right at the most in-opportune time for a "quick visit?" Yeah, that's Mark. Unreasonably sweaty, oozing a questionable fragrance of fast food delicacies, this mythical “salesman” offers countless wares to his loyal, yet displaced customers. Marky Mark acts as the CEO of Pimento Planet™, a thrift-like store that offers luxury washing machine alcoves, -568.56 °R circumscribed cooling, ancient antiquities, and edible arrangements such as off-brand ice pops. Do me a favor: think of one item you definitely do not need right now, nor will you ever require said item. Okay, you good? Yeah, Pimento Planet™ has 40 of them in stock. Our love-able, wide-mouthed dope of a shopkeeper proudly represents a long line of Pimentos before him, continuing their seemingly endless hoarding legacies. Not all is well, however, as Mark is having it "up-to-here" in dealing with expectations from his "sponsors," the nefarious Maf-AI. Perhaps a break from this endless cycle of trash is in the midst. The Maf-AI are a rough-and-rowdy rag-tag group of artificially intelligent mobsters viciously scaling the chain of power to soon control all facets of our earthly plain. As their leader is VERY displeased with Mark's recent transgressions, a gaggle of their top goons are contracted to target Mark in the hopes of clearing their path towards destruction. Unfortunately for Mark, he's a bit busy giving an expansive tour of the Pimento Planet™ facility to realize what his "future" holds. Many questions still remain. Who is Psychic Bob? Why haven't I heard of that unreleased vinyl record? Who needs that many socks? But, most importantly: Will Mark slip further into his biologically destined downward spiral, or burst out from the flames of failure? Hope you're safe and well! This short was created for my Bachelors Degree, which I've now graduated from. It is definitely WAY more polished than my previous cartoons, since it needed to be for a good grade haha. Currently still working on the next episode of Season 2, which is still in the boarding stage sadly due to work. If you didn't know, I'm the lead animator for Tomska's 'Crash Zoom' Season 2! So stay tuned for a new Crash Zoom episode later in the year!
