NEWGROUNDS EXCLUSIVE DAY EARLY RELEASE This animated short-film follows the absolutely harrowing adventures of two boys from the island of Max Avenue called Ty and Jack, and their journey as they venture off into forgotten territory. After hearing and seeing about a shadowy green beast that reigns from an island in the pacific, terrorising the people of their home town, Ty decides they must investigate and put a stop to the terror. Jack gets dragged into this along the way. Together, the boys embark on a vast journey to the island known only as; Vavaveraki. Will they live? Probably. Will it be scary? Depends. Will lessons be learnt? Perchance. -- Heya, so, it's been a while, hasn't it? I only released one animation in 2024, and this is why. TAFV is without a doubt my biggest and most ambitious project yet. This project is a result of several years of growing and improving my style, so hopefully it lives up to the hype. i really loved working on this project, and i'm overjoyed to have it actually release. now - while this is exciting, what's next? sure, i spent a year and a half working on this thing, and i don't intend to diminish how much this means to me, but, part of me wonders what to do next? i've had a few ideas. first and foremost, i need a break. for as fun as producing my first full length animation was, it was tiring, it was painful at points, it took up a lot of my time, and was sometimes frustrating to think about. i hate to admit this but there was a point when the very thought of animating something simply revolted me. course, that's since changed, as seen by the fact i animated a little trailer for the film on my youtube, but, i think i should take a break just to regain a bit of my passion. like, i'm feeling better now that it's finally done and out, but i'm still not ready to start drafting up a new cartoon. i'm having a rest. now while i am resting, i've also had several ideas for new projects going forward. firstly, one idea that has inspired me lately is the concept of a "Snowboard Mountain 4," which in case you didn't know, would be the fourth instalment to a series of animations called "Snowboard Mountain" which are traditionally Jack focused animations of him taking to the big dollop of snow in the middle of Max Avenue and sliding down it on a board. However, I don't think it'll be just that, I've been drafting up designs for hoverboards, and considered instead making it an episode where the gang races around the island, starting of course on Snowboard Mountain? I haven't figured out a name for this idea yet but it'll come to me. Just know that it won't be called Snowboard Mountain 4. Another potential project I had ideas for is one where Ty and Jack, along with some more friends, have to go beneath the surface of the earth into like a middle earth kind of place, and they might fight a guy who's whole schtick is magnets. there was a character i designed like a few months ago that would appear in this animation should i decide to make it. aaanyway, i don't wanna get your hopes up. let's just celebrate this success, and hopefully it won't be long till we're here again, for a new adventure.

A short animation of the Master Chief from the Halo series.

I made this to both train and test myself on how well I could draw mark v Chief. I was looking at the original Lee Wilson Halo CE story boards and I got inspired to make an animation that somewhat resembled that style. As a side tangent, I really like the style in which those boards were drawn. They do a really good job at capturing the designs of the characters and universe, while putting its own unique spin on them. They also did a really good job at being minimalistic when needed, but still staying true to the original designs. Like if chief needed to be drawn with less detail, Wilson would nail still capturing the general shape and size of him. Things still looked right even when they were drawn much more simplistically, and I think that's one of the hardest things to get right when drawing. Like I probably went a little overboard in some parts with how much detail really needed to be drawn, but I tried to be minimalistic when appropriate. Anyways, all feedback and criticism is appreciated. Thanks for watching.

Hi!This was actually one of the most ambitious projects I've ever made. My friends and I have been looking for something that we could all work together on for a long time now, something fun we could do together in about a couple of weeks and look back to with smiles on our faces. So of course I went overboard and sketched an entire music video. But that was the least I could creatively do, since right from the start I fell in love hard with this idea, and so did everybody else I showed the animatic to. I raced along with everyone to start production and I actually made my hardest effort ever to direct and make this clip a reality. Entire days and weeks of non-stop working, organizing, testing, crunching, managing and all of those little stories that come before anything even sees the light. I honestly believe we did a pretty good job. I thank everyone who worked with us these past couple of weeks and I'm really looking forward for everyone's opinions :) I wanna funkin' die now. UPDATE: Resynced the audio a little bit. I was so sleep deprived I didn't check well enough before

Be careful tho, the streets are filled with monsters, you gotta have a strong weapon equipments in order to make it thro. For optimal chilling vibe, wait until the competitions ends and everyone left. You can then take a peak at some awesome posters in the gallery, while walking on some freshly used conffetis. This was an idea I've had stirring in my head ever since I first heard this remix shortly after beating Megaman 10. I was originally inspired to finally start this project after seeing Megaman 11 announced and as a 30th anniversary tribute. I thought it would be a really cool tribute to not only one of the coolest throwback stages ever made, but just to the legacy of Megaman Classic in general. I was planning on having it done before Megaman 11 came out but life/work/Nintendo Switch/other animation projects/etc. got in the way and plus I went pretty overboard on the detail. I wanted to make sure the character designs were at least close to accurate to their original concept art. Title: Megaman 10: Spirits of the Fallen Animated Music Video (song by E-Tank/Gencoil)

Another down to the wire one I had to severely cut for time, but here it is in all its janky glory. Here's me entry for the 2018 Summer Jam round 3! Future Problems! I really like this character and I may use him again, although he ended up being to complex to draw in such a short timespan. I wanted to have more subtle nods to the issues of energy crisis in this future and use environmental storytelling in this, but god damn it if my ambitions didn't go overboard again. It seemed to reasonable when I boarded it. The sound was last minute and far form my best.

Stubby the robot saves his teddybear, Stuffy!

NOTE: The sound files got corrupted last minute and Flash refused to let me import them again (for some unknown reason). So there is no sound, but once I fix the problem I will upload it with sound. Making this short film has mostly been trial and error. Getting used to Adobe Flash has been tough, this is my first time animating something so intricate (and so long!).
I made a million mistakes but when I finally got something right it was worth all the failures.
My original story included not one, but three robots. Stubby, his girlfriend, and an evil mastermind who kidnaps his girlfriend.
Being the kind of person I am I created an elaborate and fantastic plot, including explosions, cannons, a chase scene (and much more) and designed all the characters only to realize that I would not be capable of animating something so complicated (for me).
I changed my character designs and took out the two extra characters and simplified the story so that Stubby only lost a bear instead of his girlfriend.
Although the story was more simple, it would be something I could animate and that would still be able to look great and test my Flash skills, while still keeping to my original story of an adorable little robot. After finalizing my story I set about creating my characters and landscape and other objects on Adobe Illustrator, a program I am already familiar with.
One of my favorite parts is creating the characters and objects, however I had to remind myself not to go overboard and leave the details for last - something I did not do with my sky.
In the creation I wanted to give my animation a sort of 8-bit style, mixed with animation styles seen in the game "Limbo", using a darker colour palette and silhouettes.
I think it turned out pretty well, plus it was great fun to do. Although I had done the creation of the elements in my animation soon after I was given the task of creating the animation, I then left the animation untouched for weeks, being the procrastinating queen that I am.
Only close to the deadline did I start working on the animation again. Typical. Although the animation was only meant to be 1 minute long, my imagination got the better of me and I ended up making it quite a bit longer, playing out my plot. Typical. In the story Stubby creates a bridge to get over to his teddy. In my original plan the bridge failed and he then made a boat out of scrap metal, which also failed.
Although both plans failed, Stubby did not give up and in the end jumps into the goo and swims across to his beloved Stuffy.
I could not use this part of the plot however because I wa already way over time and the deadline was looming close. The alternative plot where the bridge he builds is a success is still a good ending in my opinion, Stubby shows growth as a character as he overcomes a problem and is reunited with Stuffy. I left my sound files for the night before, this was apparently not a great idea. I ran into a lot of problems trying to find uncopyrighted sound effects and music and also had problems synchronising the sounds with the animation.
I ended up staying up until 3am trying to get it working. Actually, I am writing this now at 4am. You know you leave things too late when you can hear the birds singing outside your window and see the first rays of the morning sun creeping into the sky.
Typical. Even though it is now 4:30am and I am falling asleep in my chair, I can truthfully say that I really enjoyed doing this animation, although it took a lot of time to get it right, I feel very proud of the end result. I put in a lot of work and tried to go the extra mile where I could.
The story and animation also reflects a lot about myself - my styles came through and my inner gamer and lover of all things robotic/electronic/geeky clearly shone through.
This wasn't just about handing in a project and getting a passing mark, it was about creating something that was fun, that I could be proud of and that was a little part of myself. Really hope you enjoyed it.

At crossroads, a man gets pushed down the wrong path.

Well, here's my submission for the NATA Novice Round! The theme was "The Elephant in the Room." There are no literal elephants here, of course. I went with the metaphor about having a large, overwhelming issue at hand (or something along the lines of that.) As far as the storyline goes, I guess this is sort of a bit of a sequel to Masquerade because it discusses another chapter in life, sort of. It is hopefully less depressing, though. The happy ending was intended from the start. In terms of the animation style, I experimented a lot with this (probably more than is initially evident.) I did a lot more frame-by-frame than usual, and although it's still pretty shaky, I think it's getting better, so that's nice. I also started using the same sort of very limited colour scheme that I did in my last video for NATA, but I quickly found that using just blues and purples looked visually boring, so I branched out a bit. Each object or character only has two or three shades of a colour, but entire scenes are now more colourful. I also went a little overboard with vignettes and colour effects overtop of the final product, but I think they help make things look less flat and more appealing. Hopefully. I also did a bunch of little 3D things in this to test out how well it could be integrated. Some things (i.e. backgrounds) fit in better than objects that move in the foreground, but it's still a learning experience. As far as music goes, as usual, I did all the music. The tracks in this are just bits and pieces of things I'm working on, so I'm not uploading them to the Audio Portal yet, but whenever I work them into standalone songs, I will. Also I got a sweet condenser microphone for my birthday so for my next video I will have no excuse to not do voices. Anyway, that's all I have to say for now. I need a weeks' break so I don't go mad from exams/finals/my job/life. Good luck to all the other competitors! Can't wait to see your stuff!

The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym (That's the full title.) (This is my first submission.)

(THERE IS NO PRELOADER I do not know what to do to get one working... plus this is my first and maybe only submission of my work to newgrounds.)
I did this as an English project for my teacher, Mr. V, and I wrote basically everything I said in class and did not change one thing. Enjoy :D. (I know the movie isn't that good, I program more than draw :P) As you all know now I did The narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym, by Edgar Allan Poe
The boys return after a party and are drunk and are sleeping in the same bed when Augustus comes up with an idea.
Sail seas in small tiny boat. That Augustus owns.
They run out in the dark so no one can see them
It gets misty
They are hit by the Penguin.
Augustus sneaks Pym onto his dads BIGGURE ship and hides him in a secret compartment
Days go by and Augustus sends down dog (Tiger) with a note but the dog tries to attack Pym it jumps over Pym and into this crate that Pym used to sleep in and then Pym closes the door on it.
Augustus then comes about a month later and tells of what happened above deck with the axe to the head and sending his dad away to death
Then they come up with a plan with another mutineer.
Pym acts as a guy that died already, then scares the mutineers as Augustus and peter jump in to the fight.
Augustus is stabbed multiple times but the dog comes to save him by biting the cook in the neck.
Later Pym, Peter, Augustus, and their hostage Parker, see a canabal ship, where a cannibal jumps over to their ship and Peter pushes him overboard. Then Pym sees a whole group of dead eaten people.
Lack of food makes the men hungry so they come up with this idea of cannibalism and to draw sticks to see who would die. Parker loses and gets stabbed in the back, then his head feet and hands are cut off and his body eaten.
Augustus later dies, and is picked up but a leg falls off, and then is thrown into the water with the sharks.
The Jane Guy comes and rescues Pym and Peter. The boats goal is to go the furthest south ever.
Going south they find an island inhabited with people. These people seem nice until Pym goes off a side root to check out a flower, which Peter and antoehr person follow him, however the cannibals set off an avalanche which collapse ont eh spare person, but there is an opening Pym and Peter can get out so for a while they make this place their home getting food and water.
Later they try to escape but Peter is jumped. Pym shoots one guy with a pistol, and peter knocks out one guy then beats the other one to death.
They take the knocked out one as hostage and take 1 of the 2 canoes, and destroy the other canoe. Then they are going through really hot water when a bird flies over, then they see this white thing in the water and Nu-Nu dies, and then right before a giant fall, they see this white figure.
The last few pages of this book are missing but we do know that Pym died and Peter survived.

Mutteo and Erica reach Dracula's castle. Can they keep their sanity together?

**UPDATE** HOLY CRAP I GOT A CUP! I never thought I'd win an award but here it is, shining in it's bronze goodness! Things are looking up! Runtime: 14 minutes. There's no need to watch the first two parts to enjoy this one. Here's the scoop. After 6 long months, I finally have a flash to show. It took me forever to do and, of course, I ran into several problems. First of all the script kept changing since I started working on it and as a result you have this very strange and random episode. You'll see when you watch it. Imagine being in a Hollywood tour bus. You're driving by all these sights, but the driver is going so fast you can only see a blur of the tour. "HEY! STOP THIS BUS! I WANNA GET OFF!" The reason I say this is because I overdid both the size and length of this. The filesize is, dare I say, OVER NINE THOUSAND KIIIIIIIIIIIIILOOOOOOS! The amount of frames is approximately 15,903. It was actually much longer but my flash stopped working because I was unaware of the 16,000 frame limit. Then of course my program crashes a lot so I could spend 10 hours on something and I could lose it all like that. I admit, after a whole week trying to fix this episode, I thought I would lose all hope, but here it is! Thank the stars that my hard work wasn't a complete waste. Hm? Are you still reading this? Well I will say one more thing. I am going to try to make smaller and shorter movies. I just have this problem with restraint you see. I just go overboard with my work. I hope you like this episode. I know the load time is long, but I promise not to disappoint. My next work I hope to finish a lot sooner this time. Sorry for the long wait my 6 fans! XD
