Madnesia tackles his first Agency assignment since completing his training

--------- SPOILERS AHEAD DON'T READ UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED WATCHING THE EPISODE -------------------(5 YEARS BEFORE THE MAIN ''AGENT MADNESIA'S ADVENTURES'' SERIES) ''Well, goddamn... Today was the big day, I got in that jeep with the rest of the guys, we came here, we absolutely tore shit down and I ended up being the biggest winner from all of this! I'm so damn happy that I managed to get into the squad! And like I have planned since I got assigned to this mission, I decided to start writing this diary of sorts on this book I brought with me to keep record of whatever interesting stuff happens to me while I'm here but anyway: All those months of training with Maxer, both physically and mentally... they really paid off today, I was kicking ass like no tomorrow, nobody here could stop me.. Well, kinda.. I did end up getting hit with stuff that I still think I had no business getting hit with but... Whatever, Maxer told me I was gonna get even better eventually anyway and so far, he has been more than helpful towards me so I'm willing to believe him and put my full trust on him and his training methods, because thanks to him I managed to secure this job... and my life. I don't know how will I ever repay Maxer for his efforts but I feel that if I repeat this kind of performance during the rest of my career here at the AAHW, that will be enough to repay him... And I won't disappoint him! Though I also gotta say.. Johnny and Fran.. I also owe my success today to those two dudes, ever since I came back asking for a last chance at being in the squad, they've always been supportive of me, always cheering me on during my training and being great sparring partners, easily the nicest pair of dudes I have met so far in my tenure here at the Agency (Obviously other than Maxer hehe)But of course, there's always THAT one guy who can't help but being a total fucking asshole... One day I'll show Edua how good I've gotten and maybe kick his ass around a little bit... Even if fighting him will probably be way more difficult than either fighting the two losers I took on at the end of today's mission or Agent Shamrock... I'm willing to throw hands with that fucker if that means I would have the chance to shut his mouth up for good But yeah aside from that, today went really well.. Excellent, even. I'll admit, during the action I felt like I was gonna lose my shit again but fortunately I remained calm.. steady... focused.. Something that in previous times I probably wouldn't have been able to do even for a single second.. Once again, I thank Maxer very much for helping me in getting my shit together mentally. I think sooner or later I will be able to fully put my emotions aside during missions and be able to operate and engage enemies with 100% efficiency. Deep down though... There's still something at the back of my mind still... Making me feel like not everything is alright. Being here at the settlement makes me feel safer but once we eventually get back to base... That feeling of being watched, supervised... controlled by ''Him'' will come back. It's ridiculous, I don't even know why I feel like that towards him, I don't think he's even at the same base we reside at.. but he's just... THAT terrifying.. but I guess if it wasn't for him I... I don't know really, I should probably not give much thought about that whole thing because after all, the Great Auditor is and will always be far more important than him, and he also has to follow their orders. I'll give my best to the AAHW and the Great Auditor, and hopefully one day there will be a world without any kind of evil and chaos in it, with all of humanity living in safety under their rule... And I'll be there, reading everything that I'll eventually write on this book and being proud of a job well done.. I can't lie, I'm excited for what awaits me in the future! But for now, I'll just relax and take a well deserved break... And maybe ask Maxer if he's got more of those alfajores.'' <ul><li>My Agency Memories, Entry #1</li></ul> ________________________________________________________________________________ Don't have much to say, only that if you wish to see more of my stuff then go over to YT and check out my <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@madnesia19/featured" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">channel</a>! <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/672/iu_1672733_3807900.png" alt="iu_1672733_3807900.png" data-smart-scale="764,123"> Hope y'all have enjoyed it, Happy Madness Day! ^^

Final Fantasy - Nothing's Gonna Happen Remaster

The short Science film where im made in FlipaClip

this film im made in flipaclip the film where it showing the I created this film myself, exploring the science of magnets—specifically how magnetic power affects a sphere, causing it to be repelled by the magnetic field. The film incorporates 3D objects and a 4D object (a rotating hypercube), touching upon mathematical concepts like sine and cosine. It explains 3D principles—such as projections, camera rotation, and movement in three dimensions—and introduces a machine based on 4D logic where poles wrap around each other and flip. It discusses magnetic properties and then scales up to a planetary level, showing the poles inside our planet, before concluding with a rotation around the Moon. How would you rate my work on this science film? I drew it by hand in FlipaClip. Although I couldn't transfer the file from Viber to my PC as I usually do, I used a recording from my TikTok (captured with "Screen Rec Plus") to bypass the export issue; the quality is lower, but that doesn't really matter—the important thing is that I can now export it to Newgrounds and YouTube from my PC.(17.09.2026) now i fix the problem and finaly export my PC now its a HD version

Pastra finds a scary video and screams like a little girl

HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PASTRA!!!!🎃 Pastra is such a wholesome content creator for horror right???? Well you’re WRONG! Rumor has it Pastra made a video talking about the SCARIEST VIDEO on the entire internet and the crazy story that happened for them to get it. Pastra’s wife (Alice Angel) deleted this video before it could ever be uploaded because it puts a curse on you that in 7 days after watching it, you get turned into a muscular man, and NOBODY wants that!! So Pastra destroyed this video trillions of years ago until it was finally discovered by famous discovery person Mr.Digs-A-Lot. I was trusted with this video, saying how this is the most important video to ever created by a human being and nobody can see this EVER! So anyways, I uploaded it since I felt like it. Also yes I started making this video before Pastra released the video of them redesigning Clyde, so when I saw the video while working I was like “damn…what are the odds….lol”Also also, the Caine thumbnail makes more sense when you finish the video….💀💀 Directed/Written/Animated:Connor Wozniak Pastra and Generic Analog Horror Creature:Connor Wozniak Clyde and Lankmann designed by: Pastraspec

Musical Animatic which based on my favorite Marilyn's song over the whole time

Due to the copyright reasons I can't show the lyrics and original audio, so I changed it to <a href="https://youtu.be/pUW49uXWd8c" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MIDI cover</a>, watch the YT version on my channel for the more experience! Well...in conclusion, it's worth saying something important: Throughout this year, while I was creating this short video series, I received various comments on Newgrounds and YouTube about how strongly my work resonates with some people who have also experienced terrible things, and for whom my work not only responded but also managed to evoke certain thoughts, for me, this is very valuable. Showing dark scenes and immersing the viewer in this harsh and triggering atmosphere in order to convey a certain idea. One such comment is more valuable than any pseudo-intellectuals from Twitter to be honest. Thanks. Despite the minor flaws, I really enjoyed working on this short clip. With this work, I want to take a long break from my PS and FNF AU. I think I've said everything I wanted through my own lens and personal experiences. Now I'll focus more on my game, which isn't related to those fandoms, (Papa's Cannibalia). Also I'll be starting college very soon, and I won't have the time to draw like I used to. But thanks to everyone who left comments under my work. It's always interesting to read, even after a year! Music: Marilyn Manson - The Nobodies. The animation was done in Callipeg. Playlist with whole PS/FNF horror stuff on NG: <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/series/558587/pico-s-school-fnf-horror-au">https://www.newgrounds.com/series/558587/pico-s-school-fnf-horror-au</a> *I also noticed a small grammatical error in the YouTube version: "Somebodies" was "Sombodies." My apologies in advance.

Ekin, a strange little man, loves food and trash

This is my first animation, well, I wouldn't call it animation, but I still like it, it's not as good as I wanted, but I realized what my mistakes were and I will try to do better and make other series better. Well, I'll probably tell you about Ekin, he lives in an absurd world, and it's important for him to eat a lot in order to live, so he eats garbage, but he doesn't understand this.Because it's stupid, really stupid. Well, I don't know what else to add, but I'd be happy to hear criticism so I can figure out what else I can improve.

Ekin I'm

Watch Staci and Roni as they open their new Rat based Cafe. Life can be hard when you're doing customer service and the city’s most affluent food critic arrives on the first day. We can only hope they will weather the storm. It may not look like it but this cartoon took a very long time to make, longer than I’d like to admit. I kept chipping away at it off and on because, as odd as this cartoon is, it’s really important to me. When I started this cartoon with my good friend PsychedelicSamurai I wanted to make a cartoon that could only come from me and him. It's full of inside jokes, special interests, and rats. I love rats a lot. If you enjoy the cartoon, I would really appreciate anything you can do to help other people see it. Today I see a lot of people discouraged to create because of our technological climate and algorithm driven ecosystem. I want to take this opportunity to encourage other people to never give up on their own projects. It feels so good to release this cartoon, my only regret is that I couldn’t have shared it with you sooner. My life looks entirely different than it did when I started this cartoon and I’m really excited for what my next work will be as the artist I am today.

When did video games THEMSELVES start getting parasocial? Ew

The beginning of Final Fantasy Tactics is a fun one. You get the narration, Arazlam/Alazlam telling us about the War of the Lions and how secretly Ramza's an unknown dude who's actually pretty important. But then he goes and makes it weird by asking you about your name and birthday. This is my rendition of the music that accompanies the introduction of the game, used in my series Not The Final Fantasy, specifically the Tactics episodes. If you'd rather watch on Youtube, you can <a href="https://youtu.be/Qy9CDMSZ-YU" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">find it here</a>. Con todo esto, gracias por ver :)💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜Popee, now an adult, finds an old box containing all the things he used when he was a clown in Wolf Zirkus. Kedamono Jr. finds a photo of himself with his old friends, including Kedamono, who has been dead for over five years. That's where Popee tells her how he fell in love with Kedamono and how their story began as something more than friends...💜🩷 FUAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WE'RE BACK, GUYS 🗣I've wanted to show some scenes for quite some time now, scenes that will be more important later on. Yes, yes, yes, I know some people will be wondering, "IS KEDAMONO DEAD?!!! 😭" The simplest answer is, no, at least not entirely. This is a little promotion for the AU. As I've mentioned before, I've been thinking about doing another live stream to draw three participants from the AU event. I'm still planning a day when everyone feels free, and especially... when I'm free to start XDWell, with all that said, it's possible to start working on the chapter again. I've been wanting to compose original music, so if we fall behind on this chapter (again...), it might be because of that, but I'm not sure. With all that said, thanks for watching :)

If I do return from what I am about to do,it will not be for a very, very long time. This unfortunately means that,if someone is reading this, they have most certainly been left to fend for themselves alone in the dark…along with the rest of my beloved people. To whoever is reading this,I implore you to inherit my duty to The Void and keep your fellow man safe from the terrors of the night–” <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/621/iu_1621161_19930432.png" alt="iu_1621161_19930432.png" data-smart-scale="764,573">In The Void there exists a man,he has no past,no future and barely anything that resembles a present. The people of The Void begin to dub this strange man “The Warrenless”. If you asked him, The Warrenless would probably tell you that he considers himself a pilgrim of The Void. He tells himself and those who cross his path that his travels are in search of something important; an escape from The Void,or a safe haven from its madness,or perhaps even a one true love. He of course realises to some degree that these goals are nothing more than hopeful half-truths, for The Warrenless has no true goal in mind, he wanders The Void aimlessly in hopes that someone can finally provide him with a purpose,a wonderful purpose, one that can finally outclass the one given to him long ago by that…thing. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/621/iu_1621162_19930432.png" alt="iu_1621162_19930432.png" data-smart-scale="764,573">In The Void there exists a woman, from a very young age she has been well acquainted with her true purpose in all this. In spite of this fact, she still uses it, mostly because her employers refuse to acknowledge her as anything else but also because, as time goes on, she seems to find her true name slipping further and further away from her memories. The Inheritor is now standing directly in front of The Warrenless. She was warned countless times by her employers not to do this. That this was one accursed beast not worth adding to her little caravan of creatures. After what must have felt like an eternity of silence, The Warrenless finally asked her a question…“So…what’s your favorite color?”

Rem and Seven Have An Important Talk

BTC invites Nico to a fun game but he actually just kills Nico and tortures him

This isn't one of my best animations I don't really know how to feel about it but I am glad that I made this to create a conclusion to this storyline of Bobo the Clown Nico gets invited to eagle games WAIT NO I mean he gets invited to a fun game where he can win a burger. But this game is actually just an excuse for Bobo the Clown to torment Nico, and then he kills him and continues to torment him. Finally, Nico confronts Bobo the Bo and he dissapears for now, freeing Nico from the curse of BTC. This is kind of like a metaphor for the Bobo Cinematic Universe/my Bobo the Clown related animations (like Jojo the Pound and The Ice Age/Fobo the Freeze) and my obligation to not render it unfinished - However, I feel like I just don't feel like continuing that storyline/making those animations really important as they just aren't what I want to animate and are kind of limiting/don't give much in return for the effort that they take (because like who even is BTC like who even know what that is besides a couple of people)So Nico freeing himself from Bobo the Clown is kinda like me freeing myself from the Bobo CInematic Universe??? ig but that's not the main point of the animation that's just something that I added

Bobo the Clown's Game

Episode 5 of season 2 of my lost media animation series. Treat it as a Pilot

Important context:The indestructible man series is a little cartoon series I started working on when I was around 13 years old and learning how to animate (2016), It was a madness combat ripoff. This particular episode you are seeing is actually Episode 5 of chapter 2 (Unstoppable), each season having 7 episodes. The first chapter Indestructible as well as the 4 episodes of chapter 2 (Unstoppable) are complete lost media, since it was animated on a now defunct website called Toonator. Unstoppable 5 on the other hand has been animated on Drawn.digifi.ca a website I moved to in 2019. This cartoon has spent an insane amount of time in development hell. I started working on it in 2021 but right after starting, my computer decided to die and I didn't animate for 2 years. After that I managed to get a laptop but I was busy in general only being able to work on the animation the past year. There were a ton of technical issues relating to the built in animation editor that Drawn has, it simply wasn't powerful enough for what I wanted to do, but the creator of the website actually optimized the editor many times just for this cartoon to exist. I had to hold back A TON with the details such as backgrounds and other details like not adding bullet casings and stuff like that. This thing was animated at 13 fps (to prevent lag) and it was 95% done with my freaking mouse believe it or not. The actual plot of the animation series revolves around Danny, a lowlife criminal that was taken advantage of by one Doctor Kevlar, the brightest mind to ever exist, he gave Danny the N.P.D. (Nano-Power-Drive) a device that makes the user heal so fast you can't even register it, and it also gives the user god strenght, they live in a crime filled excluded region named Craterdome. Episode 5 doesn't show any of the main characters as it's actually a MEANWHILE episode that takes place at the same time as episode 4. This episode being so out of context is kind of a good thing in a way as I can easily modify the context for the first season and improve it since those were just a bunch of random cartoons I made growing up and this gives me the chance to overhaul the whole series. I will animate the next episode, episode 6 of chapter 2 in flash and after episode 7, I will restart form season 1 to catch up with everything, atleast that's the plan, this shit will probably take up to 10 years to recover anyways. So take this pilot as a little taste of the action that is to come. The characters and world are heavily inspired by Krinkel's Madness Combat, you can see a TON of references from weapon sprites to literal sound effect I used form that animation series. I will MOVE ON from making references to that series since I want to turn this into my OWN thing and stop using so much inspiration from madness in general. This cartoon was supposed to have an original OST but I couldn't find somebody to do it for me, so I had to use two tracks from Dusk composed by Andrew Hulshult, I hope it won't blow up the video with copyright somehow but I doubt it. Anyways hope you enjoyed this little cartoon I made and shoutout to the Drawn community for being so supportive of my work over the years, y'all are the best.Songs by Andrew Hulshult:Reflection of Violence:<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVa9B8RPw3Y&amp;list=RDvVa9B8RPw3Y&amp;start_radio=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVa9B8RPw3Y&amp;list=RDvVa9B8RPw3Y&amp;start_radio=1</a>Crypted Chaos:<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WITALqm4Cc&amp;list=RD6WITALqm4Cc&amp;start_radio=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WITALqm4Cc&amp;list=RD6WITALqm4Cc&amp;start_radio=1</a>Join Drawn and become a member of the community if you happen to stumble across this video, you are very welcome here, and you can find more Unstoppable related content on there if it peaked your interest.<a href="https://drawn.digifi.ca/account/SwagTomato" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://drawn.digifi.ca/account/SwagTomato</a>Sound effects from CturiX-Kemilon's dropbox.

UNSTOPPABLE 5: EXTERMINATION (Pilot)

This animation was made as a university project. I think is healthy to share this animated short with you. It looks quite different to my other animations but I think it looks decent. As you can see, the animation was originally made in spanish, but I added some subtitles in the "important" parts. You MAY find some references to other animators and animations.Give some feedback if you want.Have a good day.

Part 2 of the animation adaptation based on BigiGts's comic with the same title.

Here it is finally! After a very, VERY long delay, the 2nd part and finale of the animation "HoloXtra - Big N' Smol" is finally here! 😭😭😭 With Lui seemingly missing and having been dropped in an unknown location, Iroha decided to separate with Laplus and Koyori to run around the massive, garbage-filled room and look for her, not knowing that Lui had fallen inside one of Chloe's boots, waking up and trying to get out of the stinky prison by herself but to no avail.Laplus and Koyori on the other hand decided to climb Chloe's bedroom to help with the search with the idea that having a much better view of the whole room could make finding Lui much faster, that is, until Laplus decided to separate with Koyori and wake Chloe up properly to help them get to the portal. Will they succeed in each of their goals and go back to their normal size? Or will they become forever trapped within the confines of Chloe's massive room full of trash? And for the most important question: Will Chloe even try to clean her room before Sora-senpai visits?Find out in this 2nd part and finale of the animation which took me 4+ months to make! 😓😓😓 _____________________________________________________________________ This video is an adaptation from BigiGts's comic with the same name, but I decided after consulting them that I want to create some sort of epilogue after the ending part of the original comic story (we've talked/discussed about what the extra scenes' story will be like and what scenario would be added). I had to split the animation into 2 parts because the story is very long. This might be one of the challenging animations that I made for a while as I needed to animate five/six separate characters individually (which is different than just using some random mob models in my other videos), use some heavy effects (which causes so much lag and sometimes crashed MMD on my "potato" laptop, and also causes some random glitches when rendering the video, which I can't fix sadly so expect some "glitches" when watching), and specifically making Chloe's messy room (which took me more than a week to make an edit of). I also had some challenges from my IRL/health stuff (like my thumb randomly twitching due to overwork and in one time I woke up in the middle of the night where it doesn't stop twitching which is scary, random blackouts in our place which made me force to bring my potato laptop at work just to continue on the animation, and other private related matters). Anyways, sorry again for the very long delay and I hope you enjoy watching the video and the wait was worth it~! 😖😖😖 If you like my videos and wanted to show some support, you can support me on my Patreon, Subscribestar or Ko-fi. It helps me keep motivated to make more videos in the future! This is a story for the prompt "field" and a bit of "distance" i made in flash use arrow keys to toggle pages music link use arrow keys to toggle pages i tried to be a bit creative with it Special Thanks for im-leia for musicJamirot for this amazing oppurtunityand Newgrounds for their amazing website here is the story (for mobile users) : It was just a regular day at home, chilling, when I heard a voice from above — it was my mom. She told me that tomorrow we are going to take a trip to the fields with my grandparents. "OK," I said. Well, we'll see. Every month we travel to the fields in the countryside just to have a nice day with our grandparents. I really like the fields; it is a silent place to put your thoughts aside and maybe stretch or meditate. When I heard about this, I was excited to go, especially with my grandad. I loved staying with him; he always teaches me cool stuff. Like last year, where he taught me how to make a wooden tent and also taught me how to catch fish. Life here was simple and we were happy. That was until tomorrow, when my mom told me something really tragic. "So, we are going to the fields, but your grandad isn't joining us." "WHY?" I said. "Because… Because… your grandad got a heart attack and passed away," she said while she was sobbing. "WHAT? That can't be…" I said. "It's impossible." I couldn't go to the fields without my grandad. I felt my heart broken from the inside. Then we took the road to the fields. I felt depressed. Now, who would teach me how to make cool things and tell me old trivia? And now he's dead. What's the point of going anyway, you might ask? So, they're hosting my grandad's funeral in the fields. I needed to go; it will be the most important day of my life. That way, I can tell him my final goodbyes. The trip felt long, way too long than it should be. Every mile we crossed, I felt sadder, more depressed. As he was my only best friend in this whole universe, I never had any friends. Everyone likes bullying me for some reason. He was the only one who understood me; he was ME. So, finding out that he's dead just didn't feel right, but I had nothing to do. That's life — people live and die. That's why we need to live the best of it, spend every little second with your family, because you won't be seeing them again. The road went on and on, like it was stretching. It felt like eternity. "Honey, wake up," mom said. I thought we had arrived at the fields, but no — we just stopped at the gas station for a quick rest. I felt devastated. My family went inside to order a quick snack. I didn't have the appetite to eat anything; I just waited in the car. I really wanted to see my grandad one last time in my life. I felt like they took forever to finish ordering. I couldn't wait to go. I saw them exiting the gas station. "FINALLY!" I said. They came back with snacks. "Take some," my sister said while trying to give me a bag of chips. "No thanks," I said. I wasn't that hungry anyway. We took the road, driving our way to the fields — slowly but surely — crossing beautiful landscapes, giant farmlands, and stunning mountains. For a second, I forgot about everything. I was mesmerized by the magnificent views of the wilderness: giant trees, long stretching lakes, and fascinating wildlife. And before I knew it, we finally arrived at the fields. "Oh, here they are!" our grandma shouted while waving her hands. I saw her from far away. When we parked our car, we were greeted by our grandma, but something felt off, like a missing puzzle piece — my grandad was that missing puzzle piece. The trauma hit me again. I instantly remembered everything. I really missed him. I didn't have the chance to see him again. "SNAP OUT OF IT!" my mom said. My grandma led us to the house, where I saw a lot of familiar faces — my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin. "Wanna play something?" he said. "What the hell? Are you SERIOUS? It's a funeral! A FUCKING FUNERAL!" Everyone started staring at me. "Sorry!" I said, but he dragged me away anyway. We went outside in the beautiful sunset, playing soccer and passing the ball. "So, what are you into right now?" my cousin said. "Yeah, nothing, what about you?" I said. "The same," my cousin said. We were kinda just awkwardly passing the ball over and over again with basically no purpose. After passing the ball for about 20 minutes, my mom called me. "Get in here, son," she said. I went to her. "What's the matter, mom?" I said. "Your grandma wants to give you something." She said. I was curious. "What is it?" I said. "Follow me and you'll see." I followed my mom, then I saw my grandmother holding a big can of some sort. "What is this?" I asked. "It's your grandad's time capsule," she said. I was shocked — my grandad's time capsule, that's so COOL! I really wanted to open it. My grandma gave it to me and I started to open it in no time. I found a lot of vintage stuff, like old Star Wars action figures, his old yo-yo that looked SO OLD, old newspapers from the 1970s, and a letter? I picked up the piece of paper. It read: June 23rd, 1982 "Hi there, it's me. I am 15 years old now. I fell in love with this year. I met a lot of new friends and learned a lot of cool new stuff. When I grow up, I will become an engineer, establish a new family, and maybe even meet my grandchildren in the future." I was touched by it. I felt better with this letter. It felt like my grandad was still alive with us. This letter was the cure to my depression and my sadness. I challenged myself to also meet new friends, learn new cool stuff, establish a family, and someday meet my grandchildren in the future. But for now, I just sat down to observe the nature around me. "I wish I could meet you again." THE END

Franklin finds something odd in the storeroom

<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586310_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586310_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,317">VOODOO VIDS EPISODE 4: IN BRUCE WE TRUST Episode 4 is upon us and I hope you enjoy it! I'm aware that many people may not have seen the original Evil Dead movie. And you don't need to have seen it to have some fun in this episode, but there are a lot of references here that are connected to the Evil Dead series. If you want some more context before watching, maybe check out the last edition of the <a href="https://voodoovids.newgrounds.com/news/post/1619729">Spooky Zine</a>. ABOUT THE SPOOKY ZINEThe spooky zine is a once a month mini mag that explores some more of the local lore and connects with the episodes and world of voodoo vids in a way that's external to the animation. They are a bit of fun, but also can contain wider context for viewers that want to have some additional context. Or maybe you just want to read more about what's happening in the wider universe. A LOVE LETTER TO EVIL DEADThis episode is a love letter to Evil Dead and nods to the horror classic in certain ways I hope you would find nostalgic and at the same time, perhaps encourage some new people to seek out The Evil dead movies if you haven't seen them. You have to have a passion for old school splatter gore horror. But it's got a great blend of gore and comic styled over the top supernatural elements that are sure to delight, and Bruce Campbell is just brilliant as Ash Williams. I'm super excited to learn that there are rumors Bruce may even return to the movies in some capacity. I know currently Bruce is battling cancer, which is awful news, but as he said himself, "Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bitch".I along with many fans are wishing him a good battle and hope he gets well soon! I'd love to see him on the big screen in Evil Dead again! Beyond this point there will be episode 4 spoilers so return to read the rest after you've seen the episode. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586325_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586325_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,317"> BEHIND THE SCENES OF EPISODE 4This episode took a lot longer to make than the others, I hope that shows and also thank you for your patience. The script went through a few re writes and last minute changes that extended the runtime. Having every character in a single episode comes with more challenges, making sure to give each of them a good scene. But I think it was worth it as if you like any character in particular they are all present in this one. THAT ICONIC INTROIf you are familiar with Evil Dead you will have noticed I did my best to pay homage to the opener from Evil Dead 2 that explains the Necronomicon's origins. Making that was so much fun, animating the front cover of the book, combining it with some stock footage of an ocean that I tinted red, and for the "ink effect" on the page reveals I used some simple track mattes of real ink drop footage to do that. I love how it turned out.I also did the narration in the intro, I rearranged elements of the original script to work better with the set up for this parody. My goal was to allow people who've never heard of, or watched Evil dead to get up to speed as quickly as possible with the idea that "this book is bad news" TECHNICAL STUFFOne of the biggest challenges is creating new environments and props. Something you see on screen for a few seconds in a few shots has had to be created from scratch. Some times I over engineer stuff too and I probably could've made the chainsaw without an actually animated chain... but because I did, It allowed me to get some cool camera angles of it in action.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586351_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586351_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,317"> Same can be said for the shotgun that Franklin is using. it is based of the same model they used in Evil Dead 2, the original film Ash used a single barreled Winchester, but the sequel it was a 12 guage double barrel Stevens model, and later in the 3rd movie it was a double barrel Stoeger Coach Gun, which is lovingly referred to now as "The Boomstick"Ash famously saws the barrel off in Evil Dead 2. Of course I needed a forest. Not any easy set to build but I made it easy by cutting a lot of corners, the whole forest set is just a simple plane with a particle system placing tree images randomly across the surface.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586349_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586349_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,495">I made it within an hour and the lighting is doing most of the heavy lifting. which is again fairly simple. I like my renders to not take AGES. Most of the animation scenes take about 4-5 seconds per frame. So the forest was as basic as it needed to be. Paul's date cutaway was another external set that required a suburban feel to it. so I modeled some simple houses and kept camera angles to a minimum and focused only on what I needed. it was a very short scene so keeping the set small was important... but I could probably use it again in future should the need arise.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586352_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586352_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,295">Voodoo Vids itself as a set is the biggest and most detailed because I wanted a space where I can point the camera pretty much anywhere and have a great shot. A lot of time was spent on that, but it still needs work and more will come to the set eventually. Another huge time save has been using multiple cameras within the same scene and swapping between them. traditionally I would've worked on one scene per camera shot, but using Blenders camera marker system I can have multiple cameras that I can cut to whenever I need. so I can animate the whole scene in one blend file. This also makes it easier to alter small parts or fix things in post easier without having to dig through a load of different scene files. MUFFINMuffin the Dog was referenced in the <a href="https://voodoovids.newgrounds.com/news/post/1619729">Spooky Zine</a> and fun fact, he is voiced by our own dog Podrick. Recording his various noises is fun. To get his taco crunching sounds we used a Poppadom, he very much enjoys working with us when there's food involved.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586356_28415006.jpg" alt="iu_1586356_28415006.jpg" data-smart-scale="764,764">The next two episodes will probably be a little shorter again too not keep the gaps too long between them. AND for the finale there's going to be another great addition to the page that you can all experience and join in. more on that soon.We may even see some more new characters too!! FINAL NOTEThank you all for watching and a special thanks to Bruce Campbell and Director Sam Raimi for making a bonkers horror franchise that inspires fans and creators still to this day.As for Voodoo Vids please share it if you can, tell people about It! Your support is greatly appreciated with every like, vote, comment. It will be available on youtube next week, right now they remain as Newgrounds exclusives at launch. If you want to know anything else about production or things I've not mentioned here, then please ask. more than happy to answer any questions.See you in the next one! and look out for the next edition of the Spooky Zine for some more info soon!
