The September 11 attacks,[f] also, often colloquially, known as 9/11,[g] were four coordinated Islamist terrorist suicide attacks by al-Qaeda against the United States in 2001. Nineteen terrorists hijacked four commercial airliners, two of which were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City and the third into the Pentagon, which is the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense, in Arlington County, Virginia.

The attacks killed 2,977 people, injured thousands more[j] and gave rise to substantial long-term health consequences while also causing at least US$10 billion in infrastructure and property damage. It remains the deadliest terrorist attack in history as well as the deadliest incident for firefighters and law enforcement personnel in American history, killing 343 and 72 members, respectively. The crashes of Flight 11 and Flight 175 were the deadliest aviation disasters of all time, and the collision of Flight 77 with the Pentagon resulted in the fourth-highest number of ground fatalities in a plane crash in history. The destruction of the World Trade Center and its environs, located in Manhattan's Financial District, seriously harmed the U.S. economy and induced global market shocks. Many other countries strengthened anti-terrorism legislation and expanded their powers of law enforcement and intelligence agencies. The total number of deaths caused by the attacks, combined with the death tolls from the conflicts they directly incited, has been estimated by the Costs of War Project to be over 4.5 million.[16]
Or at least we think so.

INFRASTRUCTURE OFF THE RAILS - SPN Report #2

A EUSN cruiser warps off after an unsuccessful mission

The Empire of United Star Nations cruiser of the general fleet "Christina" went on a mission in the center of the Stellafirm Nebula to set up a jump gate in the Kirk system. The inhabitants of Kirk Prime had just overthrown their oppressive fascistic state in a bloody revolution. With the government in complete collapse the now free people of Kirk Prime struggle to set up a new one. This has destroyed much of the infrastructure world wide leaving many millions without power, clean water or food. Setting up a jump gate in the system would've enabled the EUSN to send aid in rebuilding their civilization. The journey through the surrounding hyper-dense nebula, rife with volatile gasses and ion storms, would otherwise be far too treacherous to navigate for any trade ships.Allas, it was not to be.The fledgling Terrig neighbours, still carving out their own territory in space, felt that setting up a trade gate near Kirk would undermine them. They feared that making Kirk Prime the main entry point for all trade inside the Stellafirm Nebula would end up making that world powerful, and the Terrigs would very much rather be considered the ONLY power inside the nebula. However, they also understood that simply annexing Kirk Prime was out of the question. Kirk was weak after their revolution and had no fleet to speak of, but the EUSN is rather protective of anyone in need of aid, so occupying the planet would've given the much more powerful EUSN with technology centuries ahead of the Terrigs a good reason to declare war.So instead of laying claim to the planet, the Terrigs laid claim to all the space surrounding Kirk Prime as territory under their protection. Because of this the EUSN and the Trade Union (who would be controlling the gate) would have to agree to set up the gate near the Terrig Home Planet, and all items coming through the gate would then be regulated and taxed by the Terrigs. An armed conflict where a much larger and more advanced empire bullies a young and upstart star nation out of some empty space they laid claim to would look really bad to the rest of the galactic community. However, the EUSN could not support the kind of iron grip state that the Terrigs have nor did they want to recognize any of the space as claimed by the Terrigs. This meant that the Christina could not fulfill its intended mission and no aid could be sent to Kirk Prime without somehow resolving the situation with the Terrigs politically, and so left the nebula. Many years ago I made a drawing of this piece of lore and posted it to DeviantArt here: www.deviantart.com/tattorack/...I was at work and doing a lot of thinking as I delivered food. Thinking about my projects and all that. Then it suddenly hit me; That spaceship drawing I made ages ago... I literally had all the assets lying around to remake it, all I had to do was assemble them together and render! It would be easy and fast to render and look damned cool too! Yeah...Rendering was entirely done in the real time renderer Eevee, but... it took a long ass time to actually complete. 12 hours in total, and not because Eevee was difficult to manage.I can easily run this scene in real time on my computer, but the freestyle... the FREESTYLE! The thing that draws toon lines all over the starship. That damned thing made the render take forever! There HAS to be a better alternative...Also I had rendered this in the WebM format and the compression of that format seems to have made a whole bunch of artifacts. Hmmm... I'm very tempted to leave it render in a different format tonight when I go to bed and see if that changed anything. How do you deal with a Troll under a bridge? More trolls.

Magus Elgar and his Apprentice Udo Malaaki have been requested to deal with people disappearing around a bridge. Trolls are notoriously territorial after all. Magus Elgar is Animated now! This is the trailer/concept art for my webseries, GLITCH. This is the rated M version and I will be posting an A version later this month. The final webseries will be 18+ In 2099 Earth is populated mostly by androids with humans relegated to bioshelters and orbiting satellites due to atmospheric toxicity. While humankind's population has plummeted they are still in full control of all android beings who are unaffected by the changes in the composition of the atmosphere. Following the Rules of Robotics, all androids are completely subservient to their organic counterparts although humans tend to stay out of everyday affairs having set up an infrastructure for them to police themselves. Chandler is an IT Detective and officer delegated to trace androids suffering from system failures that often lead to acts of extreme violence. Upon their arrest the detective brings them into the IT Reprogramming Center to fix whatever ails them with a swallowed software pill and whatever reconstruction is required. This is how he meets Kozi, an erosbot working the streets near one of his busts. During the arrest her arm is destroyed and Chandler feels indebted to her as the two grow closer. My current intention is to publish this as a webseries that includes many different formats. Sometimes I will use animation to tell the story. Other times I will use comic illustration, motion comics animatics, or even GIFs. Which ever tells that particular portion of the story best. Hopefully I will have enough content to start publishing in April or May. I intend on making it free and asking for donations or shares along with merchandising and ads to keep things afloat as long as I can. I hope you will hit that FOLLOW button to keep up to date and check out more of my concept art as things move along. Music: Epic Drums of Doom #5
