MIKITANII // rose-tinted bitter grudge // ippo.tsk

hello again all! this one's actually an archival, posted around a year ago, but I think it's one of the best stuff I've ever done haha. it's the last MV for my 2nd album, "seeyalater stratocaster" which came out 3 years ago. time really flies huh!!! I've always had the idea to make an MV that put 2D characters in a 3D world, something like CN City back in the 2000s, or early Gorillaz stuff haha. but because I am just one small bean, I ended up letting the 3D scenes dominate the composition, and only drew for a few scenes haha. drawing is tough!!! much tougher than composing 3D scenes with premade assets, I can say for myself. but I still had stupid fun in the process, and seeing everything come together was a major make-brain-and-eyes-happy-moment. this song's also the last track in the album, and I really wanted to make it feel as such - real bittersweet and stuff haha. people tell me they've cried to it, mission accomplished yay! in the end, it's a project I think I'll look back fondly on forever. :"^) and hopefully y'alls over here would like it too! hehe. enjoy!!! song and visuals by ippo.tsk (me!)https://bsky.app/profile/ippotsk.bsky.socialhttps://www.ippotsk.comget the song:on bandcampon ampwall lyrics: All of the thingsWe hold so dearLet's keep them closeFor as long as we stayBefore my mind forgets itAnd before my heart regretsLet me put some words and notesTogether as you sleepI'll join you in a bitAnd yet the town movesEver so slowAs if one's in spaceThis world can still beSo beautifulI wish I had just beenA little bit smarterBut before it comes (before it comes)The day when I'm out of range (I'm out of range)Though I fear, I still walk aheadSo thank you for all the colorsYou've breathed into this lifeDid you get some decent rest? The weather's been not so friendlyBetter days will surely come bySooner or laterBut did you worry about me?Might have been a fool, but frankly"Better" ways don't always work forSomeone like meAgain the town movesEver so slowAs if one's in spaceThis world can still beSo beautifulI wish I had just beenA little bit braverBut before it comes (before it comes)The day when I'm out of range (I'm out of range)Though I fear, I still walk aheadSo thank you for all the colorsYou've breathed into this lifeSee you some other timeBut before it comes (before it comes)The day when I'm out of range (I'm out of range)I still have to say my duesSo thank you for all the colorsYou've breathed into my lifelet's meet again somehow

I hope you understand the weight of the world

【UTAU English】though I fear, I still walk - ippo.tsk【KUROI】

if you had a kid, would you make them you?

hello!!! so a lot of really cool things happened; I got asked to write a song to feature on a Vocaloid/voice synth emo compilation, and now I've made a music video to go for it! ^ o^)9 this is my song "underneath the sun", track #6 on the "eingebrannt" compilation album!!!! come check it out, if you love singing robots and angsty rock music! hehe.https://tatsuyakitani.com/eingebrannt/ the song's about that feeling, of everything a child could say to those that brought them up, but still limits the things they can do, and the things they can be. it's something I've personally related to for a very long time, and I feel like I'm not the only one.this MV's a mix of a lot of things; B-roll travel footage, geometry, typography, character illustrations and silhouettes, 3D compositions; I feel like I can really do a lot of things with my options now hehe. I really wanted to go all-out with this. I hope you like it too! ^^ song and visuals by ippo.tsk (me!)https://bsky.app/profile/ippotsk.bsky.socialhttps://www.ippotsk.comget the song:https://ippotsk.bandcamp.com/album/underneath-the-sun-2https://ampwall.com/a/ippotsk/album/underneath-the-sun lyrics:verse:raw distance to mask the pain of the hearthow far do you wanna take this?far enough to match the way you gave up I'm ready for one more fake kisseasy to shelve, your hopes and your dreamsbut it's easier when you can shove them onto meso what's next? prechorus:don't be surprised that I'd rejectall the hands that kept me fed, upwithout asking, much less begI've spent too much, received too little if this ain't good enough, then I am as good as it will get'cause once I walk out of that door, you cannot use my name again chorus:underneath the sun, we mournreplay the tape until it fadesand your eyes grow sore'cause underneath the sun, we burnbut we are also free verse 2:"the time is up, you said you've amounted to some, how long must I keep you on the shelf?"long enough to make you proud, Oberonis this any way to treat myself?reasonable, never werebut I, too, have never learned"care can also be a curse" chorus 2: underneath the sunday morn' we play the part until we break, and it's all we knowbut underneath the sun, we burnyet we are all so free bridge:if you are someone with the meansand in no rush to be fedlet your children try their dreamsand acknowledge where they're headedbefore you say "not good enough"know that they're as good as you will get'cause even though you know best, you will never be them chorus 3:underneath the sun, we mournreplay the tape until it fadesand your eyes grow soreunderneath the sun, we burnbut we are also free remember, you are yours aloneto fly.

【MIKITANII】LOSSIER - ippo.tsk「Vocal Cover」

an umbrella won't protect you, for when you've already drowned

another MV for a song I did! the visualizer concept is veeeeeery simple; no camera movements or angles, just slightly-altered scenes that change after each section of the song. 🙂‍↕️but even like this, it's become some kind of a fan-favorite! lol. if you've ever felt down from life kicking you in the shins and waterboarding you in your own tears, then this is probably for you too!🫡🫂 lyrics: (sung by SynthV Eleanor Forte voicebank) It just dawned on you that days like thisMay have to come to an endSooner or later you'll just have to taste the rainAnd look at you, working so hardOn everything that's not yourselfYou know some clouds can back you upBut they can also take you down One too many seconds in the rainWill make you realizeThis ain't the way to beAn umbrella won't protect youFor when you've already drownedAnd seeing streetlights from underneath the wavesSo float on to the surfaceYou're never gonna miss this Oh well, you triedGet used to breathing with water in those lungs'Cause in the end we're all just fated to taste rainNow look at you working so hardOn, this time, nothing but yourselfDo you have something left to prove, yeah? One too many seconds in the rainWill make you realizeThis ain't the life for youAn umbrella won't protect youFor when you've already drownedAnd seeing streetlights from underneath the wavesSo float on to the surfaceYou're never gonna miss this I was informed of your applicationI have read through your applicationI have submitted my applicationNow I will wait for my applicationI was informed of your applicationI have read through your applicationI will have faith in my application One too many seconds in the rainWill make you realizeThis ain't the way to beAn umbrella won't protect youFor when you've already drownedAnd seeing streetlights from underneath the waves, oh So float on to the surfaceYou're never gonna miss thisIf you seek another purposeThen disregard all that I've said--- if you like it, you can find the song here at:https://ippotsk.bandcamp.com/track/taste-the-rainhttps://ampwall.com/a/ippotsk/album/seeyalater-stratocaster

our days are numbered down, is this what's left of you?

this is an old one, from 2017! woohoothis song's probably one of my favorites that I've written. it's just 2 chords, but somehow the structure flows better than most of my other stuff! music theory, is2g.and this MV is actually also one of my favorites aesthetics-wise! not much animation (if any) though, I wonder if Newgrounds would allow it lol. we can't all be Gorillaz and Jamie Hewlett amirite? /lhI'll probably find out once I wake up tomorrow, it's been a longer day and I need the zzzs, goodnight folks 😴 lyrics: (sung by Vocaloid 4 Cyber Diva voicebank) [Verse 1]She loved us all, I knowShe stood by us for too longThough she loved us all, we knewWe never got to see youOoh, we never got to see youOoh, we never got to know you [Chorus]As I walk the lane of no returnOur times are cut are burnedMy memories concernedA blinded eye looks for a sight it yearnsOur days are numbered downIs this what's left of you? [Post-Chorus]Na na na na na na na na naNa na na na na na na na naNa na na na na na na na na (Reason clouds who you areReason clouds who you are) We never got to see you [Chorus]I walk the lane of no returnOur times are cut are burnedMy memories concernedA blinded eye looks for a sight it yearnsOur days are numbered downIs this what's left of you? [Chorus]I walk the lane of no returnOur times are cut are burnedMy memories concernedA blinded "I" looks for a sight it yearnsOur days are numbered downIs this what's left of you? (She loved us all, I knowShe stood by us for too longThough she loved us all, we knewWe never got to see you)

Tengoku (MV)

everything's a haze, yet you don't seem to feel that way

at last!!!! my first new song & MV in a while, it's called "LOSSIER", with our favorite Kasane Teto! :Dlyrics-wise, it's about finding yourself stuck between the bullshit of others, the world around you, and your own self. sometimes the accumulating noise gets too much, and then your brain just cuts it out - revealing how you really think and feel about things.visuals-wise, I think you'll be able to tell which movie I've finished watching recently lmao. this is a song for the RHAPSODY Vocaloid compilation haha.https://rhapsodyproject.carrd.cohttps://ampwall.com/a/ippotsk/album/lossierhttps://ippotsk.bandcamp.com/album/lossier song and visuals by ippo.tsk (me!)https://bsky.app/profile/ippotsk.bsky.social mastered by @dismiazs!https://x.com/dismiazs hope you all like it, and after this, there'll be even more to come! 😼 thank you all for watching!---lyrics:see the wolves patrol on your goal line?the stench of their hubris be damnedthey're getting bold at your expense while they're standing mighty and highwill you stand by? or will you take your old stride leave just for a second in reflective wondereverything's a haze, but you don't seem to feel that wayyou're done to the coreif you justify the violence from bleeding, you'll save your heartyou'll run deficit but you'll see it, have some faithand go have some damn good fun, today we cave into the whims and all demands of those who could care less about our QOL, it's ROI or anything that screamsintrinsic value on worthbut just who is paying that price?I'm sure it must be nice to leave just for a second in reflective wondereverything's a haze, but you don't seem to feel that wayyou're dumb to the coreif you justify the violence from bleeding, you'll save your heartyou'll run deficit but you'll see it, have some faithand go have some damn good fun, today (take this to your grave)I know how muchyou feel you're gift from the gods That's how, I knowme just being here's a kick to your gutswelcome to real worldwhere the future's a smoke bombwe all inhale 'til the end leave just for a second in reflective pondereverything's a haze, but you don't seem to feel that wayyou're dumb to the coreif you justify the violence from bleeding, you'll save your heartyou'll run deficit but you'll see it, have some faithand go have some damn good fun, today

it seems we've had a breach in rationality

another song video project I did some years ago! :Dconcept is similar; underdog girl gives the middle finger (and more) to her bewildered aggressors. quite violent, but also quite silly!this eventually made it to my 2022 album, "seeyalater stratocaster", which you can get here hehe.https://ampwall.com/a/ippotsk/album/seeyalater-stratocasterhttps://ippotsk.bandcamp.com thanks for watching, hope you like it!

hello newgrounds! rae @ ippo.tsk here, this is a project I released some years ago, a music video for a song I wrote, featuring some synthesized vocals. :D it's about chucking billionaires into the sun or something like that! fun topic. I was really inspired by stuff like Touhou swfs, flash games, Rhythm Heaven, and other similar visual things that I loved growing up, and I really wanted to do something absolutely chaotic like that. :"^) and I thought this would be the best place to share something like that haha.hope you like it, thanks for stopping by! ^^ Here's where you can get the song "Oyasumination" and more!on ampwallon bandcamp
