Learning a programming language could be daunting, especially when you're a beginner who only knows visual scripting, such as Scratch, like I was. Lately, I've been trying out some real programming, mainly for the sake of experimenting with gamedev, and I'd say, it's pretty interesting, though the truth is, if you have your interest focused on the right programming language, preferably Python, since it's blooming in popularity recently due to its easy-to-learn nature, despite it being less performant, you could actually master programming easily, but it depends on the language you're interested in (C# is obviously too daunting, especially for beginners). The best way to learn Farsi, coming soon.

That’s right! Me and my friend Al-Minshar are creating a 2 in one Persian alphabet game! This includes both the gamesHarfbazy and Daniaye Elfba. It’s a fun Persian learning experience where you can learn lots of Persian vocabulary in one app! Specifically aimed towards Persian speaking kids, but in reality, anyone can join the fun! It’s always great to learn a new language. Both games have an accessible and easy to navigate menu, and 2 or more words for each letter. Each word has a unique design to represent its meaning, for example the word “پنكه” being a turning fan, or “بازى” being a colourful game controller. What makes it better is that each letter has a designated sound and design, along with, when clicked, a funny animation of the letter moving about as you or your child drags it to place. The letter will speak its sound in a funny and educational way where the sound can be easily recognisable. You’ll know that you or your child are learning when you play these games, and maybe it’ll be helpful, whether you are Persian and you would like your child to have an early start in words, or if you simply want to impress your friends with a few basic nouns in Persian. Maybe you’re planning to go somewhere that speaks there! But whatever it is, it’s sure to be very fun! PLEASE NOTE!The game will come as two separate games on mine and Al-Minshar’s newgrounds pages, but are shown as one game. Also this is a trailer for the game, not an ad. Even if it sounds like one XP also the song is alefba and abc

KICKSTARTER: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tvkampen/mixed-signals-animated-short-film?ref=user_menu REDBUBBLE: https://www.redbubble.com/people/Scrawnydutchman/shop?asc=u&ref=account-nav-dropdown 'Mixed Signals' is a 9 minute 2D animated film that follows the story of a little robot that comes to find out that it's very different from all the other kids. It has trouble connecting with other children, is easily overstimulated and is often confused for a troublemaker by teachers. But by learning the truth about what it is and by harnessing the power of communication, it learns that just because it's different doesn't mean it can't live a happy life with meaningful relationships. 'Mixed Signals' takes place in a world where everyone is a robot. There's no language of any kind, verbal or otherwise, and none of the characters have faces. Instead, they communicate with each other by sending visible transmissions via the satellite dishes on their heads. Different wavelength colours mean different things. They can also visually display their thoughts on feelings on their heads like television sets.'Mixed Signals' is an allegory for living on the autism spectrum. As an autistic creator myself, many of the events that take place in the film are inspired by my childhood experiences before my diagnosis. The film is already well underway. The preproduction stage has been completed and we are currently in the production stage where we develop backgrounds and character animation. The film is primarily animated using Toon Boom Harmony and features character rigs created by yours truly, but will have hints of other animation methods throughout. The film also features a small list of talent already lending their skills to production. The goal is to have the film completed by November at the very latest. 'Mixed Signals' is mainly being financed out of pocket, but more help is definitely welcome. If you'd like to make a contribution to the project, consider donating to our Kickstarter. There are multiple tiers with their share of perks on offer. If you'd like to support the film AND want something material, we also have a line of custom products on Redbubble. Get the logo in a wide selection of colours on shirts, hoodies, pins, what have you. Links to both the Kickstarter AND the redbubble will be made available anywhere the film is promoted. Any and all proceeds that we earn for the project will go towards compensating the artists helping me. Thank you for your interest and be sure to tune in for the release of Mixed Signals.

Arc Infinitum 2

A short video about new ways of teaching languages through entertaining media.

In many countries, the way languages are teached is not adapted to really learning to speak.
But what if class could be different?
What if teachers could give entertaining media such as music, TV, or books to their students?
And what if the students could choose those they liked and, as a homework assignment, write about why they liked them or simply comment on them? I've found that TV, music or books are some of the greatest tools for teaching a language, and, frankly, they're more fun than grammar. --
