Hey guys, it's Indie Animation Day again! Since I've been making tons of progress on the animatics lately, I thought I'd make this video going over what Dim Bulbs as a series is about. Dim Bulbs- Announcement Video

THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS HAS FINALLY ENDED!! The finale of the show was absolutely fantastic, so I made this to celebrate this great show’s existence! Caine is really sick and tired of the entire circus and wants to move on to different things (wow Gooseworx allegory). So he puts on one last adventure for Pomni, Ragatha, Jax, Kinger, Gangle, and Zooble to go on…which is to cancel the Digital Circus… he wants to offend the viewers so much that Glitch would cancel their show right here right now. It’s pretty weird, Statler and Waldorf show up, the US is here too, and Bubble is acting weird about avocados….but I’m sure that’s nothing…Oh btw Ribbit is best girl she is amazing. NOT FOR KIDS!! Directed/Written/Animated: Connor Wozniak Jax:‪FicoIsHere‬ Gangle: Caridoodles Everyone Else: Connor Wozniak Apologies to Gooseworx for having to deal with so much nothing burger bull crap from this fandom…

How TADC got CANCELLED on Twitter (Parody)

This is the fifth episode of Roasted Meatloaf, originally made in 2022, marking a three year gap after the previous episode. The original production behind this episode was very complicated, though weirdly this version was much easier to adapt in some respects than the previous episode's adaptation. This episode marked an art shift in the series, relying much more on Inkscape than GIMP. Initially, GIMP wasn't going to be involved at all, but then there were some issues I had to fix that were a bit complicated to fix in Inkscape so I used GIMP to help (I had gotten GIMP back on my computer by this point.) One problem with the art style here in my opinion is that a lot of things don't really have as much texture as they might have had before. It has a more flat feel. Nonetheless, I guess it was good to play around with what Inkscape could do. Both GIMP and Inkscape would continue to be used for later episodes. I did a bit of chroma key/green screen experimentation in this episode. I sort of did that in the previous episode, except not as successfully. I initially wanted to use green screen for the part where Jeff is on the TV in that episode but ultimately I just poorly composited the clip over top of it. In this episode, however, I managed to rather efficiently use green screen to put in two vehicles. Another thing I experimented with were the transition effects available from Pitivi. Only two transitions really appear, but nonetheless they were fun to play with I guess. Characters from previous episodes make some cameos as extras in a crowd, albeit most of them in a redesigned Inkscape form. Some other extras are subtle pastiches of characters from pop culture, although one or two of them were ultimately altered a bit as to not look too similar to what they were referencing. Copyright/right of publicity concerns got to me a little bit again. Speaking of copyright, the only sound I really had to change in this production was the "wee" sound, which, like in the other episodes, was originally a different "wee" sound with a conflicting license. Pretty much all the other sounds were fine. Exporting was a slightly bigger obstacle. Like the previous episode, when I exported through Clipchamp it resulted in some weird graininess in some parts. Again, I had to employ the help of Blender's video editor to get a cleaner result. Pitivi was used for the bulk of original production, but there might have been a bit of OpenShot involvement as well. I decided to include it in the credits just in case. A few different screen recorders were involved in the animation process. One of them was recordMyDesktop, which I had used in the previous episodes, but others included Deepin Screen Recorder, Peek, and VLC's built-in recorder. I think I lost access to recordMyDesktop at some point in production which explains why this occurred. recordMyDesktop would ultimately be retired from usage in later episodes as I moved towards new and better tools for making animation. The card that honors people who have died in recent years originally listed some names of notable people, but I ultimately removed the names because I felt like it wasn't necessary to elevate anyone above everyone else. One extra who appears is based on the Rush drummer Neil Peart, who had died in 2020. Originally he was going to be a pseudo-Force ghost in reference to one tribute I saw that was an edit of a Return of the Jedi frame, but ultimately I decided that might be taken the wrong way and seen as poor taste so instead I made him a guy who plays drums (the sound for which I made using Online Sequencer.) Neil had a mustache at one point so that's why the guy has a mustache; he was sort of a conglomeration of Neil's appearances in life so as to not realistically resemble him too much (due to potential publicity rights concerns.) The WHAT News broadcast also contains a small reference to Rush as another tribute. The WHAT News anchor is voiced by my dad, who is credited under a pseudonym. He also has connections with the band that created the outro song, hence its usage. Well, that's all I'll say for now. Hope you enjoy, but it's okay if you don't.

The pilot revolves around a pair of mysterious DJ cats stealing her favourite city pop vinyl record. Along with her psychic neurotypical older sister Sam (played by Bethany-Ann Lily), they enter a cat night club to steal the record back. But not without a bit of cat-astrophe. PSYCHIC MARIA - OLD Pilot Clip

Pawns and Pieces is a claymation project I began working on in 2022. I came up with the premise for the film shortly after completing Clash of the Clay back in 2020, initially titled "Clash of the Clay 2". After making A Grand Day for Fishing in 2021, this project became my centre focus of that year, through to 2022. As I developed the idea, it became more complex than the Clash of the Clay sequel I had planned. The film was to follow a chess game, the queens of either side playing to impress a mysterious creature that lives inside one of the vases of the table (the lizard-like green thing sitting in the brass goblet), with the gormless pawns and pieces going along with it, the greatest threat to the game and the entertainment of the green thing being the friendship of the White and Red Kings. The game I chose to base my story on was Game 15 of Spassky vs Fischer 1972 - the reason for this being that in order for the third act to work, I needed a game that ended on a draw with all of the kings and queens in tact. You can view the game here and compare the movements to that in the film: https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1044730 What you see here is the second act of the film, mostly animated and partially storyboarded. The first and third act were never animated, but the former was fully storyboarded. The reason I began with the second act first is because (on paper) it moved at a nice slow pace, which would allow me to ease myself into the more complex parts of the film. It was also the seemingly shortest of the three! Production was halted to work on my final University project; The Curse of Dracular. I had planned to continue working on it afterwards, but it became evident that the idea I had developed was far too large for me to complete on my own - the second act of the film coming to around ten minutes, which was only partially animated and the rest left to an animatic. In the middle of 2023, the company that produces the plasticine I use (Newclay), also announced their closure, and I’d still need tons of the stuff to complete my film (still have a bulk load knocking about somewhere, though). This spanner in the works allowed me to take a step back, evaluate the uphill battle this project was going to be, and accept that I would not be able to complete it. So for now, it is shelved. Initially I was very sad about this as I felt I had come up with some great scenes and gags that would never be brought to life, along with many sketchbooks filled with concept art and storyboards. However, I now appreciate this little venture as a great learning curve; sculpting and animating more detailed characters, prop-making and animating walk cycles. I’m sure elements of this film will also be reused in future projects. Perhaps down the line I might even reboot it with a team of people to refine it and finally get it completed! Getting this thing posted is long, LONG overdue, but getting it out there is a weight off my shoulders. I hope you enjoy! Additional music provided by Musopen.

Nubcat Cartoon | Grudge Match

We who also love brilliance know too that no one may receive brilliance all at once.

Previously considered lost media, the intro sequence for Tempered Brilliance was recently restored as a part of collaborative research efforts into early KISHAR system software.Tempered Brilliance is notable for being one of the first ontologically stable commercial softwares available for KISHAR. Unfortunately, due to the experimental nature of the system at the time, software was fragile and expected to be restored from physical backup regularly. While hypothetical storage obviates this need today, many unshelled KISHAR databases were lost in the earthquakes common at the time, and most early KISHAR software was lost as a result of over-reliance on these databases. " There once was an angel who fell down from heaven......or was it a devil who had escaped hell?...I can hardly remember anymore. It came to an island where a long forgotten god lay dormant beneath the mountain. The people of the island, in their hubris, had built a monument to the moon. The monument shone night and day so that the people might never fall under the mountain's shadow."Why do you forget the mountain?" the angel inquired."We wish to sing and dance, night and day, under the brilliance of the sun and the moon!" the island's people replied.Thinking to help the people in their desire for brilliance, the angel turned the island to the south, where the midday sun could shine on the people now unobscured by the mountain. The people had lived on the island for generations, and only the eldest among them could say why they had fled there - though they would never speak of it.Seeing the sun rise on the wrong side of the island, however, the eldest among the island's people quickly fled into the mountain's caves. All the while, the people continued to dance and sing to their monument. The sun continued its ascent. As the sun reached its zenith, the eldest looked down from the caves and saw what had become of their people. The angel, hearing the silence, looked around in confusion."Surely those who worship the moon and the sun must bear their wisdom," it said."Surely those who seek eternal brilliance are prepared to receive all of it!"The eldest and last of the people, for the first time in generations, opened their mouths to reply to the angel:"We who first fled to the island once again are what remain of our people, who in our time did also seek brilliance eternal.""We who value freedom above all else vowed silence, so that those blinded by brilliance might not be chained by our words.""We who also love brilliance, but are not blinded by it, know too that no one may receive brilliance all at once.""In our wisdom we traveled by night until we found this island, whose mountain would allow us all but the sun's greatest brilliance at its zenith.""We will never know eternal brilliance by our eyes, but we have come to know it over the eternal comings and goings of its gentle rise and set.""So it is that we came to love the mountain, for in its shade we received eternal brilliance."The angel turned away, not understanding; The eldest and last of the island's people seemed content in their fate, however, so with satisfaction the angel left the island and continued on its journey. Mario is tired of the "another castle" bull, so he takes this matter into his own hands!!

(10/15) It seems part 2 is not coming anytime in the future. ._. I lost it when I got my computer cleaned out (couldn't get it in flash drive cause of its size). But in light of my one-year anniversary since I started GHAD... well you'll see.
(7/31) A Part 2 is on the way! I've already been working on it for 4 days now and will hopefully be done in a few months. xD
EDIT: Damn, my "sympathy in another castle" line seems to be really popular. o.o
NOTE: This is a sprite/Mario movie. If you have a distaste for these kinds of movie, I'd refrain from watching.
Mario finally gets tired of Toad's "another castle" bull, so he takes the matter into his own hands! ... By kicking Toad's ass! >:D Haha! I don't know exactly how long this movie took to make, I forgot when I even started it. xD Anyway, there's the main movie, and I included 6 extra scenes! :D Enjoy!
Also, the sound on Extra Scene 3 messes up, I don't know why it does and I don't know how to fix it. <_<
