Support me <a href="http://www.patreon.com/wafellmaker" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">www.patreon.com/wafellmaker</a> Well here we are; The STPPM finale. I had so so so much fun with this project. I'm Genuinely so happy with how the finale turned out. I will leave below another little diary entry about this episode. I understand my pipeline - release infrequency does not please the YouTube algorithm, and I know of strategies I could employ to better my odds. (making smaller, easier projects, animating trending topics, etc) I believe while these strategies would better my chances of getting my art out there, they would make me disappointed in myself as an artist. I've made the conscious decision to take the hard route to make me happy with what I'm doing, even if my work is less publicly 'successful.' Despite knowing all of this, it is still extremely disheartening to spend months and months on an episode, only to release it and see it gain zero traction. So disheartening that it actually had me seriously consider giving up on Super Turbo Power Punch MAXED after episode 2. I am so glad I didn't. I am so glad I finished this series. I believe it to be something truly special to me. But before I get ahead of myself, lets talk about episode 5. This chat may leak into topics across the whole series, as at the time of writing this I just watched the series as a whole, and feelings towards STPPM as a whole certainly are flowing. Kal's redesign was planned in the script. But I didn't actually have a plan for what I wanted him to look like when he became the Keeper of Radness. I waited until I got to Damian's death before modeling Kal. I really like Kals new design. The black belt caused me some headache, but I think the result was worth it. I really like a lot of the dialog between Kal and Korloc in this episode. It's a lot of high inspired confrontational silliness. Stuff I like to imagine Kal picked up across all of his movie watching both in the vision realm and over the course of his childhood. I watched a lot of Kung-fu movies as a child. Which of course was accompanied with all kinds of action movies of all way shapes and forms. Basically everything Jet Li, Fearless, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The One, The Protector, Ong Bak, Matrix,. I could go on and on. Martial arts always attracted my interest as I am a huge action fan. My family means a great deal to me, and while I have always and continue to connect with different members of my family over different things, I spent a great portion of time watching these films with my Dad. My Dad was hugely involved in my childhood and is unquestionably the culprit in injecting an appreciation for kung fu movies into my life. (Hey what do you know, The effect you have on others, eh?) Anyways, kung fu movies hold a special place in my heart, and I thank my dad for that. The shot towards the end of Episode 4 of Kal and Damian watching Kung fu movies in the vision realm reminds me of those days with my dad. huddled in front of the family TV rewinding the VHS to watch the cool fight scene once more. A lot of Kal's kung fu is just him waving his hands around. As though all he did was perceive kung fu fights through TV rather than being trained seriously. Because that's exactly what he did. There was a time when I was a kid I used to think I could be a master just by watching TV. But after just 10 minutes of jumping around doing kung fu in the backyard, it was always easier to just go inside to watch more kung fu and daydream, much like my fellow enthusiast Kal. Kal takes his 'training' much more seriously than I ever did. But the inspiration for his character was a hyper-dramatic version of my younger self. A caricature of the 'I watch kung fu movies I know what im doing' type. The fact we did not see the lessons Kal learned in the movies directly was perhaps a strange choice for the story. It was however a conscious decision for the overall message and theme. We learn from the influences around us. Of those influences, it's our jobs as people to filter and deduce what is worth passing on to others, and what we can let go of. With this in mind, it doesn't matter what specific influences did what to Kal directly. Kal made the decision that of everything he's learned,. Being Rad is whats worth passing on. I feel I could talk all day about the nitty gritty but a lot of it is pretty self-explanatory as to what I was going for, so I leave it to you! I started writing a script for my next project back in August of 2024. I plan to start working on my new project very soon. But fear not, Another action packed story is coming. Thanks again everyone for your patience, and your loving support through my journey. I love you all dearly. Take care.Music: Approaching Black - The Reason, Feint &amp; Laura Brehm - We Won't Be Alone Sounds used: <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xK98WuAvjD59vqlHISKKC6TKY4lbjc3r4emgudgnBeI/edit?usp=sharing" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xK98WuAvjD59vqlHISKKC6TKY4lbjc3r4emgudgnBeI/edit?usp=sharing</a>

A clueless knight on a quest for glory in a strange pixelated world

Sometime back in 2007 at the suggestion of my sister I entered an "Original Character Battle" tournament. The premise is that you depict your original character against another artist's character. My character is Sir Yallow, a knight with no powers other than invulnerability (and a bit on the clueless side). The first round was executed on a piece of paper, and I barely etched out a win (I wasn't very good at creating comic book style works). After the first round, and seeing the kind of competition I would be facing I realized that my basic pencil and paper skills would have no chance, so I decided to do round 2 as a flash. Such is the result. There was a week to complete each entry, and as such this flash was created under a week. I'm a fan of the old school final fantasies and as such was the inspiration and format for how I would conduct round 2. Creating the custom sprites for my invincible knight was probably the hardest aspect (it's a bit mind numbing working with sprites). I used FF6 sprites as a base and I had a good deal of fun putting this one together. This would also be considered my 2nd 'serious' attempt at flash work, the first being the brief animation I did for my no-longer-existing website back in 2003.

Phoenix Wright enters the wacky world of Kevin Smith's "Clerks"

The newest entry in a pet project of mine of creating a long Phoenix Wright/Phoenix Wrong project of taking Phoenix Wright sprites an applying them to audio from the works of Kevin Smith and View Askew, such as Clerks. the working title of this is called "Phoenix Gone Askew", or something similar. i've already got 2 skits virtually done, myself, and this is one of them. However, i don't think this is something that i can accomplish all on my own. In particular, i need someone with expertise on how to:
1. assemble multiple flash files into one large document
2. create a decent chapter selection screen also, if anyone wants to contribute to the project, i'd more tha welcome help. i've already got several ideas for scenes from Kevin Smith movies, and have been mentally "casting" Phoenix Wright characters to View Askiew characters (for example, Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth are Dante and Randal respectively, Klavier Gavin and Sal Manella will be Jay &amp; Silent Bob, etc.) so, if you have any ideas for skits and want to contribute your own based on my guidelines, fee free to contact me either here, or in my inbox. To participate, you must have knowledge of both the Phoenix Wright series and the works of Kevin Smith.

A Short of the Most Epic thing since Madness and Portal, Madness Portal

Sorry I was not able to fully complete the Full 'Madness Portal' yet. I have my hands tied for the past few months with moving, my parents divorce, and the death of my dog (actually I don't have a dog :3 ) Though in all of that I was able to salvage something I made I while back, so I can at least SAY I put something in for madness day. "If you've enjoyed it half as much as we've been making it, then we've enjoyed it twice as much as you!"- Monty Python's Flying Circus Happy Madness Day Everyone! At least your life is better than mine! :3 Edit: Also don't forget to vote it for entry in the Madness 2008, Madness, Portal, and funny Collections. So other people can witness the comedy later on! Cheers! ;)

I changed my mind about Santa Chao, I've got better ideas, besides it wouldn't be that good.

Chaos Trick-Or-Treating

[edit]To all hard gore viewers, the reason why blood was not use in this flash was that it was a competition entry (I forget to mention) and I wanna keep gore to the minimun, and the rules was to be less than a min video [edit] hi everyone. I am from Singapore and This is one of my little Animations I did in my free time. I have others but I am not sure if they are apporiate for the NG audience cause most of my stuff are found in my DA(Deviantart) gallery. but anyway, I am not really expecting anything and I was wondering if anyone here know other singaporean Flash Artist who did flashes in NG.... Or am I the only one?

Safety At work.

EDIT: I noticed not many people can hear Fusion. THe guy didn't speak very loud, sorry guys! I didn't do the voice, he did! Here's my first entry to newgrounds. I know it isn't great, but I've seen worse flashes! Anyway, I hope it makes someone out there laugh. :) Anyway, this is about an old Dragon Ball Z fancharacter I made up which I don't use anymore. (this is excluded). I got this idea cuz a friend of mine also has a DBZ fancharacter which is a fusion of a Saiyan and a Mewtwo. Not much else to say, heh.

Chibi vs. Fusion

The toon that won me a big-ass bar. Thanks for your votes!

Wellsir, thanks to the voters both here, <a href="http://fark.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">fark.com</a>, and elsewhere, this toon won me a $6000 home bar prize pack from the Magic Hat beer company in Vermont, USA. It's already pulled from their website, so I'll stick it up the almighty duodenum of the Portal for ya instead. This toon isn't strictly part of the Retarded Animal Babies series (it certainly isn't RAB6!). Rather, it's a harmless little tangential mutant, suitable for all audiences. A lost lamb. More to the point, it's a poker-faced sellout. I knew the word 'retard' wasn't going to be within 100 miles of a winning prize, so it was changed to Magic (after the beer itself, of course) for the contest entry. Similarly, if in the future these characters ever show up it more public (read: lucrative) forums than here at Newgrounds, it's probably gonna be so watered-down you'll call me a big, fat, fat pussy. So this one's a taste of that, and regardless I'm proud of the result. And I hope you don't mind it too much either. Blah, blah, blah. Let's see how talkative I am after I wake up under that crazy bar with day-old vomit crusted on my forehead every so often for a few years.

Magic Animal Babies

Give it a chance, takes some time to see what you can see!
