Birthday 2025

A ghost tries to uncover the secrets of the mystical year of 2025.

A ghost flies across autumn to find the secrets of the universe to fix their procrastination issues, but meets the god Pomo and gets their entire perspective reframed in the final seven minutes of the first quarter century of the 2000s. To anybody else pessimistic about the 2nd quarter of the 2000s, maybe you'll laugh at this once. Or be distracted. 22-minute madness mission. Action, boss fights and unique 3D graphics.

NG and YT total of over 45k views! THANK YOU! Keep em coming :P 'When they want you dead' is a madness story with a little different view on the 'bad guy' thing. If you find the intro boring, don't worry, just sit back and wait, there's a lot of good action later. Kills: 178
Length: 22m15s (33,440 frames @ 26 fps, dynamic speed, interpolation)
No cliffhanger!
Lines of code: 4,400 It uses my own 3D animation engine. It utilizes not-so reliable but powerful features of the Flash Player. You'll need version 11.2. ====== IMPORTANT ======
There's a chance that you won't be able to start the animation at all. There's a YouTube link below the title for this reason. Also, make sure to choose appropriate quality (old/good/modern hardware). If you find the animation ridiculously slow, restart it on lower quality or rather watch it on YouTube. Happy late Madness Day 2012!

When they want you dead

Sonic free rider's story retold in 5.5 minutes

Sooo, Sonic Free riders. Dear lord, I never disliked Sonic and his friends as much as here.
I will never say that any one Sonic game or plot will "Ruin the series forever!!" since every Sonic game clearly has it's own style. But Free Riders is the ultimate example of how bad the series can get in it's most extreme cases.
(as for as the story goes that is. Can't judge the gameplay since I never understood the appeal of the flying boards, so I leave that to judge for the experts) Sonic is practically a Gary Stue character. He's awesome, he's perfect, better then everyone else. None of the other characters has a purpose.
Now, in the 2d games, this wasn't a problem, it's just your awesome hedgehog with an attitude fighting robots.
In Sonic adventure uno and duo, they did a decent job writing the story around it, and gave the supporting characters each their own little story arc, each with their own motivations, own lessons and morals to be learned and each with their own little victories.
However, ever since Sonic heroes this hasn't been the case much. Sure, the supporting cast still get's their own storylines, but they're more...well..excuses.
Characters like Shadow and Amy and all get one OBSESSION, their reason why to rush after Sonic/Eggman (The lucky supporting cast that is, some (knuckles in particular) doesn't even have that luxury) They don't have their own arc, they don't learn any lessons, they don't succeed in any goal, they do nothing. They just rush after Sonic, every dialog being nothing more then CONSTANTLY REPEATING WHAT THEY'RE OBSESSED WITH, and when they finally catch up with the main plot, they're immediately shoved to the sidelines, either begging sonic to help them or just cheering him on.
In the end, it's all about Sonic. What does this have to do with Free Riders? Every single flaw that the previous Sonic games and characters might have had, is ramped up to level 100. There's no plot in this game, nothing to distract you from from one pure, dark, bitter, violent and horrifying look into the characters.
The plot (what little there is) is all about Sonic. Sure, there's some treasure mentioned, and Vector and Wave are interested in it, maybe Team Dark too. But that's mostly played for laughs. No, the real story is that every single character is desperately trying to beat Sonic, to earn Sonic's attention and admiration. Amy's obsessed with Sonic (well, more then usual) Jet's obsessed with Sonic. Eggman's entire plan ends up him trying to impress Sonic and Metal Sonic's secret hidden agenda ends up him trying to impress Sonic.
And every dialog you get is nothing but characters endlessly repeating, endlessly screaming about their obsessions. Other then Team Dark, Cream, and maybe Tails and Wave, you'll gonna hate every one of them.

Final fantasy 7 told in 3 minutes by someone who hasn't played the game in a decade.

Fresh from Coolape.
Really bothersome, both the Coraline movie and this one's original files were damaged all of a sudden because of a broken USB stick. So I had to redo a lot of stuff, which is why there might be a few changes in this flash. And as for the Coraline flash movie, that one is wayy to damaged, so I'm afraid that movie won't be released outside of Blip. But barely anyone seemed to care for that movie I guess. Yah, so this is Final fantasy 7 in 3 minutes, or rather, Final fantasy 7 as told by someone who hasn't played the game in 10 years. So I might got a few details wrong, but mostly I'm quite sure 99% of all the plot happens because ,or is solved by, a big explosion. And of course I had to mention the second worst videogame ending ever. My prize for the really worst RPG ending ever is still for Phantasy star 2. Ugh. Thanks to Rugal and Stephany and Zody and Molly for voices. Final fantasy 7 is property of Square Enix and all that.

The First Two Minutes Of "The Waterman Movie" Starring Leslie Nielsen

UPDATE 8.1.10 - Answering Some of Your Questions (below submission description) In an effort to raise the funds needed to produce the film, CJC Entertainment and Waterman Studios proudly present the first two minutes of "The Waterman Movie" starring comedic legend Leslie Nielsen (The Naked Gun &amp; Airplane.) See first hand the beginning of a project that we can complete with your help! To contribute, please visit <a href="http://www.WatermanStudios.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.WatermanStudios.com</a> Answering Some of Your Questions Q: What is "The Waterman Movie" about?
A: "The Waterman Movie" picks up right where the "Waterman" series left off. Raccoon X. Espanosa and Devin Farmer of 16Buttons of Justice are called into their Manager's office to discuss the drastic downfall in their popularity. The duo must come up with a way to regain the love of the public or face the cruel fate of being fired. News soon breaks that Ready Espanosa (Leslie Nielsen,) famous explorer and father to Raccoon X. Espanosa, has gone missing. The duo decides to kill two birds with one stone and document the greatest rescue attempt in history to save both Ready and their careers, but mostly their careers. 16Buttons of Justice enlists the help of Waterman, Pal, Ice Cream Girl, Mr. Dillo, and everyone's favorite pet owl, Professor Hootington to aid them in their rescue. Q: Is that the voice of Morgan Freeman?
A: No, the voice you hear is that of Leslie Nielsen (The Naked Gun &amp; Airplane.) Q: Is that really Leslie Nielsen?
A: Yes, it is. Q: Why does the artistic style between the backgrounds and the character look so different?
A: As a matter of fact, the style is actually not all that different, but I can understand why some people think that. The backgrounds look so much more detailed because there is so much going on. There are literally dozens of layers. The character design is really just one layer (so to speak.) We wanted to make cleaner, more detailed versions of the "Waterman" characters for the movie but not make them look drastically different from the ones in the series. It was no easy task.

The new X-men movie, Wolverine origins, told in 1 minute.

Bit late since the movie's several months out now. Ah well.
Drew most characters in their comic styles, since they'd all look like generic guys in my art style. I know every B-movie needs the hero to lose a friend/brother/girlfriend /mentor in order to set up the climax, but geez, this movie has 9 of those deaths, wtf.
And only 2 real action scenes, is this a action movie or a slasher/ emo drama? Wolverine also seems to love killing people who aren't really the villain but only hypnotised or brainwashed against their will. First lady deathstrike in xmen 2 and now Deadpool. Ah well, anti-heroes. I'm suprised Wolverine hasn't died/ been revived in the movies yet, considering he dies and get's revived at least once every comicbook he appears in. Thanks for help to Luke and Jordan

Blasting out of 2008 with the latest in the "sonic in # minutes" series.

A theif decides he's gonna steal all the last minute shopper money on x-mas eve.

Well here it is! The second entry i've made to this Frikken sweet web site. A brief history: This story was written way back sometime in dec of '05 as a three page comic. I was intending to finish all the art and post it on the internet for my friends to check out. I got to the last page, but lo and behold christmas snuck up on me. So I did what most kids of my generation would do in that situation... i fell off the project. This past nov. I was looking over some of my unfinished pieces I have lying around and i came back across this story. I knew there was a winter flash off 'a comin' so i revised the story a lil and (revert back to first line) Enjoy!
oh, and happy holidays, and whatever Fliberdigibit WOW! I go to work and look what happens! Front page! Thanx guys for making that happen. You are all super awesome!

The Last Minute Shopper

Wait a minute, that's not how you spell organism! :O

*edit* Due to popular demand I've turned it into a screensaver for MAC and PC.
There are links in the movie to the download page. *edit* FRONT PAGE!! THANKS NEWGROUNDS!! *edit* Daily 4th!! A really high score! I wasn't sure if you'd all like it, THANK YOU!! Okay, here's the deal. Over the past year or so I've been animating morphs when I'm bored and can't think of a clever idea. They're a great exercise to get your head around keyframe to keyframe animation, you just have two drawings and draw new pictures inbetween them again and again until you have a smooth morph. Yeah, so I put one up as an animated gif in a newspost about a month ago, and Luis said I should get a group together and make "One Big Morphing Orgasm." So I did. What an amazing story... I bet they'll make a film about it one day starring Tom Hanks. So uh, thanks to all 47 of the people who made parts, the musicians for their great tunes and to all the people on newgrounds who stopped by the forum to offer their support. Watch the movie, leave a review, if you're feeling generous submit it to the collab collection, then just lean back and feel your brain melt.
It's kind of like a lava lamp, I think it makes a great screen saver.

One Big Morphing Orgasm

Luigi's reign summed up in a single minute.

*Update: Thanks for the overwhelming support. It's really cheering me up :] Hey guys. It's been quite some time. I was looking for a way to get back into Flashing, so I came up with this: a short sprite movie about that loveable green dude, Luigi. It's not my best work, I'll tell you that right now. Sitll, I did put some effort into it, so I decided to throw it on NG to, at the very least, prove that I'm still active. Anyway, I tried to sum up Luigi in a minute of Flash. I think it worked. *3rd time's a charm.

A 13 minute long film noir parody, the final official Star Syndicate flash

Thanks for the front page Tom! Happy Star Day 2008! Here is the flash you've all been waiting for. "Night in Hotlanta" is an immense 13 minute long megaflash that includes Parts 1, 2, and 3 of Dailytoon #400. This flash has been 6 months in the making, 4 months since the release of Part 1. It is undoubtedly the most effort the Star Syndicate has ever put into a flash animation. It is also most likely the LAST official Star Syndicate flash collab ever; after this, we will still be around but no longer as a crew. The style and graphics of each part varies based on the artist that animated it, but the story remains constant. Please be patient while the flash loads, it is 13 MBs so it should take awhile. But trust me, it is worth the wait. This is a DVD edition so there are some special features, including scene selection and voice actor commentary. During the movie, right click for playback controls. Thanks to everyone who helped with this. Its an incredible relief to finally get it done. Enjoy!

Night in Hotlanta

*2008 note* I once again got too busy and attempted to continue for 2008 madness day but this year I figured without a huge contribution to put forth that I'd just be disappointing everyone so now I have ahead start for next year I will hope to put forth something worth while :D please look at my profile for a couple screen captures of the next installment* I'll update gotta beat the clock!!
nice made it with 6 minutes to spare before the end of madness day. First attempt at a song
Second flash attempt
yes... yes it's short, I'm sorry Edit: I KNOW AND APOLOGIZE FOR IT BEING SHORT (apparently people still thought I didn't notice it was short) but I was trying to get it in on time for MD 2007, also noticed when I watched it through after getting some sleep that I spelled Krinkels name wrong!! so sorry! I've decided not to fix it though. Considering he never did watch or will watch it :P muahaha!! Double Edit: Disappointed with the madness day results, but... Thanks SO SO much to anyone who did actually watch and review this :), and ok ok ok ok... I'm going to continue the story as I invisioned it, though it may take a little time and I reserve the right to alter the story I had planned if I wanna :) who knows though, we'll all see eventually!
I hope you enjoyed it anyways!

Madness ness Part 1

The Thwomps are back again in this 20 minute epic!

Update: Thanks to everyone for your overwhelming support, I do read all of the reviews even if I only respond to a couple, still thanks a lot guys. :D Hey guys, this took too long to make, and I'm sorry about the huge filesize, but I don't know how I can get it down any further. So this is the follow up to Thwomps 3, taking place just after it, the only difference is this ain't about squishing people no moar. I've decided to take the characters from the old trilogy and make a real movie starring them, it's approx. 20 minutes long (that's including the credits, but still that's pretty long) and I've been working on it since November. It is a sprite movie but I tried really hard to make it a good movie, with a good story, full voice acting and... well ok-ish fight scenes. I really hope you enjoy it.

Thwomps: The Movie

This minute long segment of undead gore serves as an ode to the genre of zombie movies.

Update: Thanks Tom for the front page! I really appreciate that, and the zombie collection entry! Thank you! This minute long segment of undead gore serves as an ode to the genre of zombie movies.
The movie is mostly frame by frame and there were no bitmap images used in the production.
Inspired by 28 Days/Weeks Later. Update: Stop wasting ur reviews commenting on which movie it's based on. I don't care.
Music by: Muse. I just made the sound better.

Knee Deep in Death

Note: A lot of people don't seem to release the script is not meant to be taken seriously... Runtime - Aprox.14 minutes, so make sure you got the time to watch! Finally I am able to present to you... Mario's Revenge: Second Edition. It has been in development since march 2005, so that is about 25 months of work (on and off) It is actually a remake of my whole Mario's Revenge series which i released about 4 years back. The story may be kind of strange, but that was also in the originals, so I can't help it :P I really hope you will enjoy it. Took me a shitload of time. ENJOY!
