i spent a ton of hours on this, so you better like it mfs.The rough lines and style i went for with this animation allowed me to focus more on the movement itself, the character was really difficult to get right as it has a really complex design, but i managed to make a lot of frames keeping him consistent enough. this is definitely my best work yet.

A short loop featuring Gemma from Monster Hunter, in a full nelson position.

You can also find GIF version here I made this piece entirely frame-by-frame in Adobe Animate as part of my practice project for character animation and loop rhythm. Inspired by the Monster Hunter Wilds and its blacksmith character Gemma, I wanted to explore a mix of physical tension and atmospheric heat.Let me know what you think, and if you'd like to see other angles, interactions, or characters from the MH universe. I’m working on more experimental short loops — feedback is appreciated! Follow me on X for more!
