Hai! its been a looong time since I've posted an actual animation to NG.Mostly cause I've been super busy with school, and the majority of the work I've done there is exercises that aren't really worth posting here. This one turned out great thought i think! The characters are my own, I don't really have much lore for them yet, but expect to see more of them eventually. This was also my first time using animation in toon boom harmony, and while I definitely see the merit of it, I doubt ill be using it after i graduate, the workflow is total overkill for the projects i plan on making and it definitely slowed me down a lot with this one. (and there's no way i could ever afford it TwT)

A "modern" spin on the 1996 Donkey Kong 64 rap opening.

By trial and error, I found out Super Mario 3D Word’s Fort Fire Bros. theme goes surprisingly well with the Donkey 64 DK Rap . . . once it has been sped up a little. I always felt like the Fort Fire Bros. beat was pretty good to go with some lyrics back when I first played 3D World around a decade ago now? (Wow!) The beginning of Fort Fire Bros. reminds me slightly of Donkey Kong Country's (Super Donkey Kong's) "Island Swing," which is played in the first level of the game. Just like “Island Swing”, Fort Fire Bros, slowly builds as more instruments join into the song and eventually reaches a strong climax where the instruments all break loose. Fort Fire Bros also has some similar rhythms to "Island Swing" making it also feel fitting to mix it with. On top of Fort Fire Bros and the rap tracks, I ended up also mixing Piranha Creeper Creek on top of it as well for some extra "jungle" groove - which may be slightly overkill! Besides the soundtrack for this animation, I had attempted to animate the more "current" generation of the DK Crew. DKC: Tropical Freeze also came out over a decade ago? (What!? Where is DK?) The other Kong in DK64 have sadly been out of the spotlight since Rare was bought in the early 2000s, likely due to them being characters they created :( Sad enough to say, I felt like it made sense to replace them with the most recent recurring characters, Dixie &amp; Funky. Although Tiny, Lanky, and Chunky will not be forgotten! I consider the designs of the DK Crew, Kremlings, and other minor characters to be a more simple, stylized version from their gaming representations. DK in particular, I honed more in on the 1981 Donkey Kong arcade's design for some of DK's face while the rest is most similar to DKC's design. As far as the style of the animation goes, I tried to stress fluid transitions between scenes - if you watch the whole animation through (or even loop it), you will notice there are no cuts. Furthermore, I incorporated a lot of DKC’s platforming design elements in the animation - silhouettes, platforming layers, and vibrant jungle backgrounds full of life. Despite the Super Mario Bros. Movie coming out this year and having the DK Rap song in it was not directly inspired from that - as I had already been working on this prior. However it may have motivated me to complete this a little sooner, believe it or not, haha. Diddy Kong and Funky Kong also released in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Course Pack Wave 6 a week prior to this animation being completed, but all in all the DK series has been pretty quiet. Completionists/scavenger hunt seekers: Because DK64 is one of the biggest Collect-a-Thon games, if not the largest out of any game, I decided to hide a bunch of DK themed collectables / items / animals from the games. Here is a list of what you can find if you want to “101% this animation”:‣ KONG letters (in order of the animation)‣ 9 puzzle pieces + one extra puzzle-looking item from some other special Rare game‣ All of the animal buddies in “Donkey Kong Country” titled games‣ DK Coin‣ Kremkoin‣ Banana CoinGood luck hunting for them all! IDIOTS VS. MARIO

Tried getting into animation for the first time, was a masochist and went on 1's

I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out (especially considering I've never animated before in my life), hopefully I can do more of these later! Maybe not at 24fps though, it may be a bit overkill...

Soldiers are firing way too many rockets at weak little Scout.

Moral of the Story: Never dodge a rocket, son. Or you'll be pegged with even more rockets. This is a SFM I did a while back, so I have imporved since this, and more is probably on the way. This is a Team Fortress 2 thing, so if you have no idea what that is you should probably look it up. If you think this video is bad, go ahead. As an internet explorer (pun), you are entitled to your own opinion. This was made using a combination of Source Filmmaker and Windows Movie Maker, don't own either of those, so don't sue me. The music in this is owned entirely by Valve, so yet again, please don't sue me.

A pokemon cartoon i did. Feedback much appreciated.

Hey whats up! Pokemon Red vs Blaine: Overkill ( Pikachu Vs Ninetales) is my first cartoon and I hope you guys like it. This Pokemon cartoon is based off the game Pokemon Red and Yellow and also the anime (kinda). Reason why Red doesn't say much. I'm not going to lie but whatever script I had went out the window and I got carried away. Thanks again for taking the time to watch this Pokemon Spoof! Independence Day

Master Chief dies in battle, but that's not enough for the Covenant.

I uploaded this to Youtube as well, but this version has the original Halo music in it, the way I intended it to be. So I guess you can call this the 'special edition'.

Halo: Overkill

Another school project, though i did this for myself. I already did an environmental animation last year, so when it was assigned again, i decided to make this, it was expanded due to time constraints, if anyone puts in the comments how this thing went over board, they hit the nail on the head. This was intended to be sarcastic and over kill, i didn't want to make another serious environmental piece, especially considering how wrong that one went. anyways, i'll let the video do the talking, oh, the song is an amazing piece from Homestuck's 7th album, this is the band camp page: <a href="http://homestuck.bandcamp" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://homestuck.bandcamp</a> .com/album/homestuck-vol-
7-at-the-price-of-oblivio n
I do not claim to own any rights to the song, it just fit so well, please click the link, and buy things from the band camp because that whole damn album is incredible.
oh, and the credits at the beginning? all of the actors are fake. the sound effects and music are true though, stupid little joke i'm sure newgrounds won't let me take out so... oh well. See ya!

The Spirit Stars test their wits against video game history's legendary douchebag.

(Update: I've replaced the scrub bar with a slider and made it scrub through the movie. It should work now.) (Update: I've just been informed about the freeze up. I'm working on fixing the problem, as well as changing the script to get the scrub bar to work again.) (Update: I took out the scrub bar because it was interfering with the Flash Ads. I will add it back to the Flash once I learn how to apply it without hindering the Flash Ads.) Natalie convinces her friends, Denise, Kalina, and Lin, to play an old 8-bit video game. Tensions rise as they match their wits against video game history's legendary douche. Converting this animation from Toon Boom Studio to Flash was much harder than I thought. Toon Boom Studio being a more advanced and sophisticated version of vector animation software, trying to get a Toon Boom animation to work in Flash is the equivalent of trying to get a PS3 video game to play on a PS2 console. There's some black spots as well as off-centered text as a result of importing from Toon Boom to Flash. I managed to fix most of it. As such, I feel a better success with this animation's Youtube counterpart.<a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=MGyr4y_YsTo" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">youtube.com/watch?v=MGyr4y_YsTo</a> Thanks to Tom for allowing me to submit this.

This project has been drop im working on a flash game called Overkill.

Minecraft2D

Just a random (but in my opinion, awesome) fight scene.

Use imagination to determine a setting. Could it be a "friendly" fight, or a possessed warrior fighting himself for freedom? NOTES: The reason this is in Korean is because this was supposed to be a close tie with foreign animations. Who reads captions anyways? Press the envelope in the upper-left hand corner for quality.

Madness Overkill 1

I'm starting my first flash animation with a bang! Well not really, it's quite short though. Only worked on this flash for 12 hours, did a decent job in a short amount of time. Made this for Madness Day. Enjoy! :] Instead of saying " I surrender". He was originally supposed to say "Don't shoot! I'm a communist!".

Madness Overkill

Command & Conquer - Tiberium Ecstasy brings you the absolute C&C overkill.

"Command &amp; Conquer - Tiberium Ecstasy" brings you the absolute C&amp;C overkill. The Brotherhood of Nod wants to take over france, since GDI defeated them in Germany. During the operation the "Temple of Nod" gets destroyed. Now a lone Commando must lead his brothers to victory. Update: Hell yeah, Frontpage ! Thanks Tom ! After more than 7 months of work it is finally here. We worked very hard on this movie, in fact, i for example spent day and night making this. I invited/hired a lot of voice actors. This is our (Maniac &amp; me) biggest project we have ever made. All the Sprites have been EDITED (In this case i mean "set up" for flash, i modified them) by me per hand. Nod now has the correct colors &amp; GDI has way more sharpened sprites. You won't find those graphics anywhere, i did everything myself. The movie probably doesn't have that much action compared to Command &amp; Conquer - Tiberium Catastrophe, but it actually shouldn't be a TC clone. Voicework by Tomamoto (<a href="http://voice.tomamoto.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">http://voice.tomamoto.com/</a>) and Courtney Leacock (<a href="http://www.freewebs.com/courtneydl/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">http://www.freewebs.com/courtneydl/</a>) In this movie is more than you actually think. What I'm actually trying to say is that the SWF version has many hidden secrets that actually lead to completely different scenes. SWF version: <a href="https://www.deviantart.com/killerratte/art/Command-and-Conquer-TE-60317318" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.deviantart.com/killerratte/art/Command-and-Conquer-TE-60317318</a>
