Girlchan in Paradise Ep3

A young boy blissfully saunters through a peaceful winter paradise.

I've noticed a pattern with my flash cartoons. I start off saying, "I'm just gonna make it simple, finish it and get it on newgrounds." Then somehow I end up loading it with detail, and making life miserable for myself, and usually never finish. That was only partly true in the case of this movie. I started off simple, and then it became a hurricane of detail and complication. (I think it'll become pretty obvious where I lost my mind in this movie...) The difference here is that, first of all, I finished this one. And second, I had an absolute blast making this. This stands, unequivocally, as my proudest work to date. I put an assload of hours into this thing, but I loved every minute of it, and I think it shows through in the animation. This contains some of the best frame-by-frame work I've ever done, in my humble opinion. I hope you enjoy it. And to help you enjoy it, I took the liberty of including some playback controls! In the lower left corner of the screen are simple Stop and Play buttons, as well as Previous Frame, and Next Frame buttons. I always wish more flash authors did this, because I enjoy studying each individual frame of the animation so I can see how it all comes together. When the thing's buzzing by at 30 frames per second, its easy to miss all the little details. So take your time and go through it. And if you end up learning something from what you see, well I just couldn't be a happier donkey with a bazooka... or whatever the hell my username means... This is my first cartoon in what will hopefully be a strong year for me on Newgrounds. My 2009 submissions were an embarrassment... all one of them. This won't be my only submission this year, I promise. And now I've got almost a full 12 months to break that promise! EDIT: Y'know, I think I've gotta say something. I am BLOOOWN AWAY by the success of this movie. I never imagined getting a score as high as this, and so many positive reviews. And the awards?! There was some massively tough competition last week. Really, thanks a ton for all your kindness, everyone. I want you to know that I do read every review, even if I don't post a response to every one of them. By the way, who are Calvin and Hobbes?

"Snowfall"

..but where did he come from, this fleck of spite in an abandoned paradise?

This is the story of the last of the dashkin. The people are all gone and in a world of innocent animals, the solitude, the sadness and bitterness have corrupted his view of life. What does the future hold for such a tragic creature? Will he wander the planet, forever alone until his death? Will he always be the wild King of Brackenwood? --
It's a massive honour to be nominated for a 2nd Tank Award, thanks NG! Thank you for front page, all the great reviews and the incredible score for Daily Feature.
--
Thanks to Brackenwood fans and donors for all the support not only during the 4 weeks I spent making this, but also in the 2 years since I submitted Waterlollies. Since then I've been working on the Brackenwood feature film outline with my good friend Ryan O'Loughlin. With no plans for a new web episode in the meantime it occurred to me that Brackenwood fans could be waiting years for the feature. I didn't want to abandon them altogether, so this new movie is my way of staying in touch with them and the NG audience. This is the first Brackenwood short to break away from the "character introduction" style movies that had little or no character motivation and plot. This is a story, not only answering a lot of questions, but asking just as many new ones. I used Flash CS3, the .fla is over 300MB (half of that is audio) and it took me 4 weeks.
Don't worry I won't be leaving it another 2 years. I plan on starting storyboards on the conclusion in jan-feb 2010.

living in saiyans paradise forget the situation, frieza got me facin
I can't live normal life, i'm the best of elites
But I gotta be down with the Ginyu team,
Friggin poser posey pussys need their clocks cleanred.
I'm a elite saiyan prince, with a wish on my mind,
Gotcha your balls in my hand, and the rest I can find I'm 2 foot shorter then most other men,
but when it comes to where it counts I got 10 out of 10, Fool
Death aint nothing but a galic gun away,
I'll put you down like dog, now play dead and stay
Im gonna be trainin, will I ever hit Super saiyan
the way things is goin I don't know Tell me why are we
So blind to see
that 9000 jokes
just arnt funny We've been spending most our lives
Living in a Saiyans paradise.
We're all tough and no one cries,
Living in a Saiyans paradise.
All this hair is hard with lice
Living in a Saiyans paradise.
This spandex Chafs my thighs,
Living in a Saiyans paradise. Power up my level ,level up my the power
Chargin up ma lazer,
throw away my scouter
Think you can take, wanna have a shot?
Then Go take a number, In the line with Kakarot I guess you'll never learn,
so vegeta's here to teach you,
Beat a saiyan once, 2nd time he will beat you!
I guess you can't
I guess you wont
I guess you don't
Thats why I know im laughing at your corps fool. We've been spending most our lives
Living in a Saiyans paradise.
we're wished back when someone dies,
Living in a Saiyans paradise.

At frieza we met our demise,
Living in a Saiyans paradise. Tell me why Can't we
