PLANET // SHAPER - LOOPING THE ROOMS

Nocteon is a planet bathed in eternal night skies with ruins of a long forgotten civilization scattered through its valleys. Somehow, the flora of this planet is sustained well with its absence of a sun, yet despite this wonder, whatever intelligent life had lived here has since moved on. As a Pathfinder, it was once your goal to survey planets of interest like this. However, since the 'decommission of service' these kind of planets always seem to find their way to your travels. A video game concept I dreamed of creating one day, where the main character embarks on a journey of a cosmic scale! Exploring many crazy and impossible worlds, running on cosmic roads connected to an infinite sky! / This is the second scene for my conceptual project "RAIDHO". It was created using Blender for blocking out shapes and perspective, Procreate for the illustration and Adobe After Effects for a simple parallax animation.

Motion graphic thing to learn after effects

I hate to admit it but I have been sleeping on After Effects. Definitely much better working with 2D stuff in there than Blender or Godot or trying to write motion graphics with code with Motion Canvas like I've done before. I still used Blender for & Godot rendering some 3D planet stuff because I didn't feel like experimenting with the After Effects 3D tools just yet. And Godot will probably be a main stay as I really love the shader & rigging setup I have in there!

an isometric scene of a retro futuristic frutiger aero solar punk device

I recommend watching on fullscreen and with headphones 大家好！Hola! This is a hydroform node, made for terraforming extraterrestrial planets, a planet is bombarded with ice and water meteors to then get heated up and form clouds, a hydroform node takes the formed clouds and converts them into liquid water while distilling and purifying it from other vaporized chemicals mixed in the air, then the prepared water gets pumped out to different places of the planet. The fish is a bioindicator organism, if the fish survives the water is biologically safe, colonists use these as environmental diagnostics. for the overall design I got inspired by Frutiger aero aesthetics, and solar punk concepts for the conceptualization. I thought the result is something you would find in terraria, so i composed the soundtrack a bit like terraria's making it a pixel art Frutiger aero-solar punk mix style. I wanted to get a liminal feeling, or nostalgic feeling, I'm not sure how i got it but i did, to get it i deliberately let some elements of the composition feel off or odd, as in liminal spaces, something that has to do with the lightning, the only thing that casts shadows on this scene are the suctioned clouds and they only cast shadows within themselves, the rest is composition, for example the shadow casted by the device is actually a transparent cube, the shadows casted on the grass by the unimplied clouds are shaders, nothing casts shadows because almost every object's material has emission turned on The process i like using blender for creating 2d like stuff, playing with shaders and programming animations with geometry nodes, so a rough quick sketch took me a few hours and i got this: Then i started conceptualizing and using my references. at first i wanted to make it look as an infinite water body rendered within the boundaries of a cube but it looked as normal water but i ignored that. i used geometry nodes and the shader editor for the water, noise texture for the displacement (using geonodes) and i animated a voronoid texture for the water texturing, The caustics are a voronoid texture on a plane, also seen over the fish. animating the text was easy, i wanted it to look like a converged human language from the future, i used a font called stray (i think this font is from that game also called stray, never played it). I animated it arranging different texts and glitched versions in a 2d image, then animated the texture coordinates of the plane what will have the text.the pipes are transporting water, thats all, it may look weird but it is just moving water. i used geometry nodes for that animation specifically using a waves texture for scaling the pipe across a spline curve.the grass is just 4d noise texture setting the position of each vertex overtime.i didnt know how to make it loop perfectly so i leaved it as so. made only with blender (except the text texture, it was made using Photopea)As for the music, i wanted it to sound nostalgic and chill, i tried to get as close as the visual feeling i had at that time making the scene, So i chose the Mixolydian scale becase of the bVII, and 9th chords, a slow pace rhythm and sounds akin to the style (lofi old school frutiger, chiptune) i produced it with FL studio The sound effects are some folley, others are sounds i found in the internet and some i did with synthesizers The blend file is all yours to explore! Some other arts i've done (mostly with blender) 3D geometry dash sphere spider animated by bboybeat on Newgrounds I also make music; some of these are like the one of this animation! bboybeat's Audio. I have a Fiverr gig for music composition, no orders yet, but it exists Compose unique and immersive video game music by Just_cristopher | Fiverr. Alright finished.FIRST! The music is from an artist called:The Enigma TNG.Here's a link to his song called "Mantra" below:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xV7ACiK2Q0Aprobably my favorite of all time. I've loved his music for 6 years now. And even considered his music as an inspirational piece of my art. Like if I had a cartoon his music(or at least music that sound like his) would play in the serious moments. So please check him out. Also his songs are free for non commercial use(so yeah I didn't just get his song just out of nowhere.) This was going to be the background but honestly I wasn't feeling it tbh. It felt...generic. And even off due to shaped and colors I thought didn't really match. Si I drew a knew background to give it a more distinct style and even wanted to give it an Arabic look to it. I'm a massive fan of Arabic architecture and clothing. The buildings are honestly cool and unique to me. Like this one is a famous mosque called: Sheikh Zayed Grand MosqueMy favorite aspect of the designs are the columns, especially the top part called the arches. Though this is on another alien planet so it's not entirely the same but still the mosque served as an artistic inspiration for me. Also the 2003 Starwars the clone wars series was also an inspiration for the whole idea to begin with. I want to make more "elegant" and snapping looking fights as well. Were characters are crafty and even ZIP around the environment as they fight as well. Which is actually how Emily(my OC) fights. I love the style.Anyways this originally wasn't a huge project I was working on but I just started to really get in the zone and next thing you know it, I'm adding more scenes and adding music to go along with it.I wanted to add sound effects and even VA but I thought I was just doing way too much honestly lol.

The place may be but advanced applications of artificial intelligence allow for projected waiters to interact and inquire about what the client wants in real time at any table in a charismatic, friendly matter which can even be customized for future visits. Note that some of the more prestigious waypoint locations feature live waiters/servers/barkeeps, so those wanting top level service will likely look for the marking, which indicates a non-automatic waypoint establishment. An Aladdin story set after post-nuclear fallout

Well hello Newgrounders, long time, no see. If you've wondered where I've been all this time, well, school has been sucking up my soul. I apologize for neglecting NG all this time. it feels like forever since I submitted something. This is actually my first flash submitted since I got Flash 8. Anyways, this is an animation I made during the last semester of school at IUPUI. I originally made it for my school's biannual VisionFest contest that was being held August 16-18th of this year. Buuuut...ultimately I got beat out by an animation about bird calls. T'was a shame. What inspired me to make this flash was actually the music, Kismet by Bond. As I was listening to it one day, I was suddenly overcome by this storyline that was going through my head as the music was playing. Kinda like watching a Fantasia short. I knew what I had to do... I have to admit, this didn't turn out as majestic as I imagined it, but I guess I'm still somewhat novice in animation. Also, some of the scenes lag a little, I'm sorry. To get this done in time for the deadline, I acquired help from a fellow Newgrounds artist, Zombie-Pimp. He did a lot of the backgrounds and a few of the background people, he was a huge help, I dunno if I would of been able to finish before the deadline without him. Thanks, Man. I also gotta give a big shout-out to Tom Fulp for everything (Newgrounds, increase of size limit, sponsorship), you're just...awesome. Thanks. This flash takes place in a world after post-nuclear fallout has turned Earth into a desert planet. As a result, society is shaped accordingly and is thrown into an era resembling an Arabian setting. Well, I'm sure you're all bored of reading all this, so go ahead and start the movie. And as always, ENJOY! -Flecko- P.S. (8/21/07) I've been reading each review intensely. Each of your (fellow Newgrounders) reviews make me feel better about the past few days. I've been able to dust myself off quickly and realize that I've been able to entertain a lot of people. In a way, (I still miss that scholarship) I'm glad I lost in the VisionFest, because now I realize that I always have a place of retreat or a home here at Newgrounds and that it will never turn me away or let me down. (I know...sappy. But I had to say it) Thank you all for the awesome reviews, and Thank you Newgrounds! P.P.S. (8/23/07) A lot of users have been asking me how long this took to make. I'm gonna post the answer on here because I'm sure a lot of you are wondering. I started actual production in the middle of March (2007) and was able to finish barely before the contest submission deadline on June 1st (2007). But that whole last month of May...whew...I was pulling off up to 38 hour shifts at a time just to get this done. I was in constant panic mode pretty much. I HOPE I never have to go through something like that again, I can't imagine what kinda unhealthy side effects could result from it. Cappuccino helped too. Weeeee, cappuccino! French Vanilla!

Planet of the Shapes

You can put the bong down for this short.

This short cartoon answers a question many have asked for a long time now: what happens when some random kid throws a ball too hard, and it falls into one of those speed rings that you find in racing games and Sonic Spinball, and it travels all the way around the planet? Includes more references to tv and radio. RESPONSE TO REVIEWS: Wow. I anticipated some high votes, but not this high! It rocks to be me!! Thanks for all the feedback. For those confused about the end, sorry I didn't make that clearer. What happens is she got hit by a red ball which was thrown by those 2 guys. In the following scene you see the red ball bounce offscreen. And for anyone who didn't like her design, well, that's how I draw :). And you won't see any anime/manga style knockoff shit from me. Also, since I got this twice, the pyramid in New Mexico is based off a real life souvenir shop off the interstate shaped like a pyramid. No comments on my mock-20th Century FOX logo though?
