90's themed TV set in an apocalyptic future...

Set in a future where the environment has been destroyed, what remains of the human race lives in domes, all ran and controlled by DOTCORP. DOTCORP covers everything from the water and air, to the law and entertainment inside these domes. This piece is a mock broadcast from ''DOTCORP TV'' - This channel broadcasts minimal content, and is mostly ads, interspersed with random cartoons and shows. It also contains the ''DOTCORP SHOPPING CHANNEL'', which is a version of shopping in this future, where people pay a subscription to this channel to 'experience' what it was like to shop before the domes. I wanted it to evoke the feeling of turning on Adult Swim or Toonami at 3am, lots of ads and cartoons that didn't make sense because you were half asleep, along with a lot of influence from the weather channel. It also draws heavily on nostalgia, being set in a fuzzy 90's VHS world, but I used this to contrast the warmth a lot of us feel when seeing these things, as it hides a lot of the shady things DOTCORP is up to. In this vein, I drew a lot of inspiration from Cave Johnson in Portal 2, and that kind of corporate satire, where you're not sure if it's a joke, or to be taken seriously. The memory eraser in particular was kind of influenced by this. This piece was made for my Master's Degree in 2025, and was displayed on a looping TV, along with an interactive arcade machine, as part of the final exhibition. ( I hope none of this comes off as pretentious I just wanted to share it with you guys :) p.s the little guy on the phone at 06:26 was animated with AI but that's ONLY because I didn't have time to do it myself for the deadline at the time :( p.s.p.s apologies to every artist ever for using AI :(

For those who have been following I originally uploaded the first half of this in order to pique anyone's interest who wanted to be a part but now its finally done. I'm going to upload more episodes and animations on my youtube channel here https://youtu.be/09prlerfF00 In 2020 a lot of people say oh 2020 sucks ugh i cant go outside ugh i gotta wear a mask! no 2020 was one of the worst years of my life. I thought I had pushed two of my best friends to walk out of my life, work was piling on top of classwork for class I didn't like and HAD to take then my house floods, then covid happens then I lose all hope. Were it not for the simple pleasures of playing RDR2 couped up in a hotel room stomping rats as Arthur in a saloon for money I never would have came up with the idea for Rat Stompin Ralph and there my journey began. As I added more and more things turned around, I felt I had purpose again and suddenly, a year later I'm graduated with a full animated cartoon pilot showing at an art gallery as part of a thesis exhibition. At the very end of this journey my dear sweet Maddie passed on so this is dedicated to her as well as everyone in my life who saw the beginning and end of this journey. I'm aware its a little rough around the edges, its my first animation ever and I hope with enough support and the freedom to work on it at my own pace, free of time constraints I can continue the saga and put more work into the writing and production. I don't blame you if you think all this is overly saccharine or pretentious or that its a sob story just judge it as a first timer's foray, that's all I ask

Cyberen's Hot Date

RIP Jack Black I loved you like a dad. Early life Black was born in California, the son of two satellite engineers, Judith (née Cohen) and Thomas William Black; his mother worked on the Hubble Space Telescope.[1] Jack Black's mother is Jewish and his father converted to Judaism;[2][3] Black was thus raised Jewish.[4] On The Tonight Show he said his surname may come from the Scottish occupational name Blacksmith.[5] His parents divorced when he was 10. Jack Black had a Bull Mastiff and Rottweiler mix named Chico. Chico died of parvovirus soon after Jack's parents divorced. Black moved to Culver City with his father and frequently visited his mother's home until the end of his first year of college at UCLA when his father's family moved to France. As a child, Black appeared in an early Atari Pitfall! commercial,[6] which was later shown during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and again on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. When he entered high school, his parents suggested that he should transfer to the Poseidon School, a private secondary school engineered specifically for students struggling in the traditional school system.[7] Black eagerly accepted the proposition, afraid that he would only be bullied if he remained in public school. He also attended the Crossroads School, where he excelled in drama. Black later attended UCLA but dropped out during his sophomore year to pursue a career in the entertainment business, at which point his father discontinued his financial support. Fellow UCLA veteran Tim Robbins later cast Black in Bob Roberts. He also had recurring roles on the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show.
Acting career Black's acting career began with primetime TV. He played roles on several shows such as: The Golden Palace (Taxi Driver), Life Goes On (skinhead), Northern Exposure (Kevin Wilkins, prom king), HBO's Mr. Show, and Picket Fences (Curtis Williams). In a Season 3 episode of The X-Files, titled "D.P.O.", Black played Bart 'Zero' Liquori, friend to Darren, a teen who could cause lightning strikes, played by Giovanni Ribisi. Black appeared in an un-aired pilot episode for a show directed by Ben Stiller called Heat Vision and Jack where he played an ex-astronaut pursued by actor Ron Silver. He was accompanied by his friend who had merged with a motorcycle, voiced by Owen Wilson. Black later took on small roles in Airborne, Demolition Man, Waterworld, The Neverending Story III, The Cable Guy, Bob Roberts, Mars Attacks!, The Jackal, Bye Bye Love, Jesus' Son, Dead Man Walking, Saving Silverman, Enemy of the State, and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. In High Fidelity, he was cast in the role of Barry, the pretentious co-worker to John Cusack's record store owner, which garnered him more exposure. His career soon led to leading roles in films such as Shallow Hal, Orange County, School of Rock, Envy, Be Kind Rewind, King Kong, and Kung Fu Panda. Black starred in two films in 2006: Nacho Libre, in which he played a Mexican friar following his childhood dream of wrestling and pursuing true victory by fighting for the children of an orphanage, and Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny, a fictionalized account of the band's formation and their quest to obtain a "supranatural" guitar pick. Nacho Libre opened on June 16, 2006; Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny was released November 22, 2006. He starred alongside Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, and Kate Winslet in The Holiday, in which he played Miles, the love interest of Winslet's character. In 2007 Black starred in Margot at the Wedding, opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh and Nicole Kidman, released November 16, 2007.
Comedic style Black's comedic style combines many key elements from both sides of the traditional double act. Black typically begins a skit in which he presents an earnest introduction to a premise or subject that quickly reveals itself to be flawed or fundamentally ludicrous. Black then switches completely to a far-extreme caricature of human emotion.
