I wrote the song, and I programmed it in golang using ebiten

unboxing the stars

i wrote a program to generate text and captions, so the font file was an asset this time

I wrote the music, and the animation is demoscene video, no blender, no assets (well besides the font file for the captions), but everything else is made from, SDF/CSG so kinda like CAD but only using programming. The file is about ~300 lines of code If you like it maybe consider sharing it, idk, just hope you like it my music is all free to download

experimental (mostly) pure math animation

Tankmen Tribute Collab 2026

A ferret walks into strange corners of computational space.

I'm developing <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/4487340/Shaderland/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Shaderland</a>, a puzzle programming game about creating a world of pixels. In the game, you learn computer graphics as you guide polygonal creatures through a world made of logic, in pursuit of an occultist hacker. As a tribute to the game's <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demoscene" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">demoscene</a> inspirations, Swizzle's Journey is a PC demo: a program that creates a realtime music video. It was created using a custom animation system I built on top of Shaderland, with the music kindly provided by <a href="https://wing.kapsi.fi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Pumpuli</a> (<a href="https://thewing.bandcamp.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">bandcamp</a>, <a href="https://demozoo.org/sceners/22208/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">demozoo</a>). I released it on April 2026 at the <a href="https://2026.revision-party.net/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Revision demoparty</a> in Saarbrücken, where it received 12th place in the <a href="https://demozoo.org/parties/5512/#competition_20773" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">PC Demo compo</a> (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lw4W9V57SKs" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">full stream</a>). The game is built from the ground up using <a href="https://rust-lang.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Rust</a>, <a href="https://wgpu.rs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">wgpu</a> and <a href="https://iced.rs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Iced</a>. The node graphs generate shader programs, which determine the colour of each pixel, and the same programs are used to simulate the ferrets. In the game, you will learn to create shaders, and guide the ferrets yourself! More information on Shaderland, and this demo, will be coming very soon... Shaderland::Swizzle's Journey

Introducing my solo game project, Misfit Company!

Hey everyone! I left Newgrounds a while ago to pursue some projects, and now I want to come back to start sharing my art and other projects! I am thrilled to finally share what I have been working on through a lot of late nights over the past year! Here is a teaser of my first solo indie game, "Misfit Company."Lead a squad of specialists deep behind enemy lines in a gritty, boots-on-the-ground struggle to dismantle the enemy's war machine from the inside out. You will face down engines of war on land and in the air, all in an effort to prevent the launch of a mechanical abomination that threatens to reshape the continent. The goal of this project is to combine the handcrafted frame-by-frame visuals of the most captivating aspects of today's animated films and television shows while giving the player a seamless action-packed narrative experience where every finisher and interaction feels like a scene from a top-tier animated series. Now that I am finally sharing this project, I want to give some context on how this project has progressed over the past year. I am currently working on this project as a solo developer, and everything you see in the screenshots and teaser was created entirely by me. It's been a ton of fun but a lot to manage while balancing a full-time job and children to raise. In the fall of 2024, I was laid off and was just coming off Halo Infinite, so I took some time to reset, and after a few weeks, I was interviewing with Riot and actually received an offer to join the team down in Sydney. I sadly didn't take the job at that time because I had the opportunity to work with a few past colleagues on some really cool stuff at Meta, and it allowed my kids to stay close to their relatives here in Canada. In November, I was watching Arcane, and I had an idea for a project that hit me like a freight train, and that would become this story of a band of Misfits. As I went into 2025, I already wrote out the foundation for the story and was starting to storyboard out every cinematic the game would require while scouring my film and game libraries for as much storytelling reference as possible. As the year progressed, I started working on the prototype, but also created a large library of concept art, 3D assets, and fully polished characters that would help establish the art direction. What has been really exciting is that I am producing everything on my own with a fresh mindset towards production compared to my AAA experience, and creating a purely handcrafted experience using my 10+ years of experience in games. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming! <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/4416330/Misfit_Company/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Steam page!</a><a href="https://youtu.be/cnaLuPI_7tc" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Teaser Trailer!</a>

an isometric scene of a retro futuristic frutiger aero solar punk device

I recommend watching on fullscreen and with headphones 大家好！Hola! This is a hydroform node, made for terraforming extraterrestrial planets, a planet is bombarded with ice and water meteors to then get heated up and form clouds, a hydroform node takes the formed clouds and converts them into liquid water while distilling and purifying it from other vaporized chemicals mixed in the air, then the prepared water gets pumped out to different places of the planet. The fish is a bioindicator organism, if the fish survives the water is biologically safe, colonists use these as environmental diagnostics. for the overall design I got inspired by Frutiger aero aesthetics, and solar punk concepts for the conceptualization. I thought the result is something you would find in terraria, so i composed the soundtrack a bit like terraria's making it a pixel art Frutiger aero-solar punk mix style. I wanted to get a liminal feeling, or nostalgic feeling, I'm not sure how i got it but i did, to get it i deliberately let some elements of the composition feel off or odd, as in liminal spaces, something that has to do with the lightning, the only thing that casts shadows on this scene are the suctioned clouds and they only cast shadows within themselves, the rest is composition, for example the shadow casted by the device is actually a transparent cube, the shadows casted on the grass by the unimplied clouds are shaders, nothing casts shadows because almost every object's material has emission turned on The process i like using blender for creating 2d like stuff, playing with shaders and programming animations with geometry nodes, so a rough quick sketch took me a few hours and i got this: Then i started conceptualizing and using my references. at first i wanted to make it look as an infinite water body rendered within the boundaries of a cube but it looked as normal water but i ignored that. i used geometry nodes and the shader editor for the water, noise texture for the displacement (using geonodes) and i animated a voronoid texture for the water texturing, The caustics are a voronoid texture on a plane, also seen over the fish. animating the text was easy, i wanted it to look like a converged human language from the future, i used a font called stray (i think this font is from that game also called stray, never played it). I animated it arranging different texts and glitched versions in a 2d image, then animated the texture coordinates of the plane what will have the text.the pipes are transporting water, thats all, it may look weird but it is just moving water. i used geometry nodes for that animation specifically using a waves texture for scaling the pipe across a spline curve.the grass is just 4d noise texture setting the position of each vertex overtime.i didnt know how to make it loop perfectly so i leaved it as so. made only with blender (except the text texture, it was made using Photopea)As for the music, i wanted it to sound nostalgic and chill, i tried to get as close as the visual feeling i had at that time making the scene, So i chose the Mixolydian scale becase of the bVII, and 9th chords, a slow pace rhythm and sounds akin to the style (lofi old school frutiger, chiptune) i produced it with FL studio The sound effects are some folley, others are sounds i found in the internet and some i did with synthesizers The blend file is all yours to explore! Some other arts i've done (mostly with blender) <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/bboybeat/3d-geometry-dash-sphere-spider-animated">3D geometry dash sphere spider animated by bboybeat on Newgrounds</a> I also make music; some of these are like the one of this animation! <a href="https://bboybeat.newgrounds.com/audio" rel="nofollow">bboybeat's Audio</a>. I have a Fiverr gig for music composition, no orders yet, but it exists <a href="https://www.fiverr.com/just_cristopher/compose-unique-and-immersive-video-game-music" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Compose unique and immersive video game music by Just_cristopher | Fiverr</a>. An optimistic outlook on robots taking over our jobs

"People tend to have a pretty pessimistic view on robotics labor taking over our labor.
But I believe there's a lot of reason to be more optimistic about what might come." There's a reason I'm not making poetry, but thanks a lot to Saminat for making the cool voice lines despite of how poorly I wrote it ;) Lyrics:
Taxi robot took, my job away
realistically I look, and guess I don't have to complain
my family is supported, by basic pay
and it has been reported, it's safer anyway Flying soldier robot, came in through the door
for many years I fought, but there is no more war
the enemies I haven't seen, they're on vaca
under a palm tree, on bora bora bay Creative robot brain, took my career away
but it's producing, my next video game
and in VR I don't look the same
now I get the girls without the shame, of pretending my art isn't lame Farmer robot does my work
I'm sunbathing on the plains
No more hay on my fork
And I don't bring animals in pain
Cause the meat is lab grown, and it still tastes the same === I also want to make a post about how I made the character animations soon! (spoiler: it involves quite a lot of programming and little drawing)

What's the worst that could happen to a substitute teacher?

Mrs. Kat in her first very almost too short of a gag so don't expect too much from this. Just a Cat teach with a bunch of cameos in the class. This was also a test of me making this cartoon of all just mainly motion tweens. Bit of a test for myself some parts may be traditional tho. I had fun making as much tweens as I possibly can and taking my time creating new characters for myself and using Cameos from other shows. PS: I now have also created my own brand new Menubar for the bottom of all the rest of my animations to follow. Cause I always enjoy the original flash player this website was all about and could also be more interactive as in even finding clickable easter eggs and hidden items. Maybe someday too I'll find out how to hide the play bar so it docent get in the way of my animations to come. I'm just not great at programing like at all... But anyways on to the NEXT animation. It shall be much longer than this one I promise. Updates to come: + Working on the buttons to fix if they don't work please let me know.

The World's Most Powerful Maverick Hunter versus The Most Insidious-Immortal Reploid!

My first real try at video editing and sprite animation using stop-frame animation instead of key frame animation. I is very noob and found stop frame animating, initially, faster for me to learn. So plz be gentle. Although it took me about 37 days (a total of 156+ hrs/7 days), I had a blast making it and I learned alot! I Hope to make more animations in the future.
I'm looking forward to becoming a better animator, so tips and advise will be greatly appreciated. I will, also, be focusing on background animating and various camera angles/perspectives and P.O.V's. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is just the sprite animation portion. You can view the whole video edit and completed sprite animation on the link below. Click Here to see the full video on my youtube page:
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR8hALcZknCxV_5kmioGst0tmZ0RJABWP" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR8hALcZknCxV_5kmioGst0tmZ0RJABWP</a> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Story Thus Far...
After Years of Constant Battles and War, the Maverick Hunter, X, faces his Arch-Nemesis Sigma in the final, dark days of the Maverick Wars. The longevity of war itself has taken countless lives (humans and reploids alike) and as long as Sigma lives, there shall never be Peace. How can X defeat the never-dying Sigma?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Character Background Info: MegaMan X Unquestionably the most powerful robot in the world and Leader of the Maverick Hunter's 17th Unit (Sigma's former Squad), his incredible power potential is tempered by his sense of peace and justice, and his deep dislike of violence. He fights with everything he has for those who cannot defend themselves, but laments that so often he must take lives in order to defend them. Although a Master of weaponry and capable of advance hand-to-hand combat, his signature weapon is the X-Buster, an arm cannon capable of firing not only powerful plasma blasts, but of reading the DNA code of other Reploids and replicating their weaponry for a limited time. He can also upload new armor components warped to him by the holographic A.I. of his creator Dr. Light. Sigma The first Reploid created by Dr. Cain, Sigma was considered the finest of the Reploids and was the first leader of the Maverick Hunters; peace-keeping Reploids who defend humans against their renegade counterparts. Although he was once honorable, Sigma unexpectedly goes Maverick and rebels against humankind. He defects to the Mavericks and assumes the role of their leader. Under Sigma's command, the Mavericks grow into a legion dedicated to the extermination of the human race. Sigma instigates many of the destructive Maverick Wars, with the Maverick Hunters existing to crush Sigma and his minions. Although he has been destroyed countless times, Sigma's programming always survives and builds himself a new form, ready to menace the world once again. It is implied that he grows more insidious and vengeful with each transformation, with each successive plan becoming more and more desperate and aggressive. As long as Sigma lives, there will never be peace.

MegaMan X vs Sigma: Duel

The last half of the exercise. Notice the skill difference!

WARNING: If you haven't seen the first half, I suggest you do this now. You will appreciate this last half much more if you see the first. The purpose was to display my progression in skill level. From baby steps to full-fleged animator. Some people got confused about that in my last video. Would've uploaded this sooner, but college and work and--well, ya know. --------------------------------------- It's been months of programming, and it's finally done. I've been crazy about uploading this for so long. All the hard work that went into it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I loved making it. Practice Toons serves as the pilot for a new cartoon series that has been in development for over a year and a half. Right now I'm just gathering the necessary resources such as; the music, the sounds, the software, all the good stuff. The future series is called: "Tweaked Out" (non-canon to my music video trailer in my youtube channel) More details to come later. Stay tuned! SPECIAL THANKS to Newgrounds.com

After almost a year part one of the second chapter is here!

Abby walks around the cold streets of an old town, what will become of her this time?
_________________________
_____________________ Wow, never thought I'd put the next one up.
Anyway long story with this. Last October I finished editing the script and editing the panels for this chapter. Celx helped with the programing, and of course he had other things to take care of so this was pushed aside. I forgot about this until he brought it up a few months ago. It's going to be divided into 4 parts, and this chapter will conclude.
The art is VERY outdated in this. The rest of the parts will have the outdated are, but when the third chapter comes it'll look more like what I've been putting out.
Anyway I hope you all enjoy. More to come. Again thanks for all the help Celx.

2) If given a blank screen, reload the Movie and it should work.
3) The full size of the collab is about 40MB being loaded. Here it is people, a year and a half in the making. The third, not to mention BIGGEST, installment to the NiN10Doh! Animation Collab series. This time featuring spoofs of Nintendo games such as the Mario Sports series, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, F-Zero, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Bomberman, Mischief Makers and more! A huge collection of talented Animators, including favorites from the previous two collabs and several new ones added to the mix. Also features some special guest stars, including LittleKuriboh (Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged), HappyHarry (Saturday Morning Watchmen), Matt Mercer (There Will Be Brawl) and Kajetokun (It's Over 9000!). Major apologies for this thing taking so ungodly long to be finished. No joke, I intended for this thing to be done around this time a year ago, as the material had been written and recorded in the Summer of '09. However, due to the MASSIVE crew of people on this independent project, there were several on board that got incredibly busy with freelance jobs, real life issues to contend with and far more than you'll ever need to know the details on. That said though, they all pulled through and came out with some superb animation and I hope the likes of Nintendo fans, the folks here at Newgrounds and animation-junkies will all get a kick out of this collaborative effort; there really is something for everyone! So HUGE thanks to all of the Triple-A team of animators, artists and actors that helped me make this way overly-ambitious project come to life. Thanks as well to all the special guest animators and actors that were interested in joining the project. Thanks Richie for once again programming and designing the menu as well as making this whole thing tie together...and of course, big thanks to Tom and Mike from the Newgrounds crew for sponsoring and hosting this project, not to mention helping it work in the first place! What to say this time? Well, I'm NOT gonna say "this is the final one we will ever make, ever." because that's what I said when $00pah NiN10Doh! was released...and what happened? I found these projects way too fun to just give up forever because of worthless naysayers that wanna piss on our parade. WILL we be doing another one after this? Who knows, life gets busy for us all...but hey, we'll talk.

NiN10Doh: ToThe64thPower

A child-like vampire laments about her death and immortal life on the eve of Halloween

This is a short story that's part of a bigger story I've been writing for quite some time.
Her name is Abby, and she's a character that close to my heart.
I would have never been able to submit this without the help of Celx-Requin.
He's the guy who put the whole shebang together. Check out his stuff!
I hope you enjoy this as much as I had writing and drawing little Abby.
Happy Halloween! **EDIT**
Jesus Christ people, will you look at the credits before messaging Celx about "stolen art"? How can you people mistake my drawings in this for his? I'm not trying to be an ass, but to some of you see a sketchy style and go "OMG DAT SUMEUNES STUFF !!1111!"? The art and story is mine, Celx graciously did the programing and the panel animations. I mean come on! Read the goddamn commentary below the flash people.

A Child Vampire's Lament

An introduction to the amazing new programming revolution: Purenode.

<a href="http://www.purenode.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://www.purenode.com</a> This is the world's first node-based website programming IDE. It's a free service (premium versions are coming soon, but the free version will always exist) and it's really easy to use. This service is for anyone who has wanted to learn programming or scripting but has found it too difficult or time-consuming. Purenode is the easiest way to have full scripting-level control without having to learn a language. If you can use a mouse, you can program using Purenode. But don't be fooled: Purenode is also a tool for seasoned programmers. Even if you use one of the latest website frameworks, such as Ruby on Rails, Merb, or Zend, you could spend hours or even days making simple sites. And a Content Management System (CMS), such as Joomla or Wordpress, can be very difficult to actually get working. Installing extensions for additional functionality is an added pain. And if you want to create your own extensions, prepare to spend hours pulling your hair out just trying to learn the framework. For seasoned developers, Purenode is the mecca of Rapid Application Development and prototyping. In minutes you can have a fully-functional website. And it keeps getting better. Purenode runs on the Google App Engine, meaning your applications have the reliability and speed of Google's infrastructure. Finding free hosting is hard enough as it is... but Purenode offers free hosting on the cloud! The only downside is that is you want a custom template, you'd have to make it yourself. But heck, most people still remember HTML and CSS from the good ol' days of Myspace, so this isn't really a problem. And the proprietary template system is well-documented on the website, with two sample templates to mess with.

Programming Revolution!!!

Mario has learned how to ActionScript 3.0 to make art!

** EDIT ** OK, for those of you who "don't get it." To create an ever evolving background, the code, or actionScript, is going through a loop. it repeats over and over, redrawing shapes in various random colors. It never ends, yet it is ever changing. It repeats a pattern. To put it as basic as possible - Go take some mushrooms and watch the center of the hole for like...5 minutes. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND. This is a process art using ActionScript 3.0. I wanted to make a loop that was completely algorithmic (to demonstrate intellectual superiority, of course.... j/k) Programming can make some very interesting works, and exploring this is a great way to create art pieces. Make algorithmic art!
AND PLEASE don't vote based on length, or humor...vote based on the CODE which was used to make this :)

ActionScripted Mario

Chaos Bros. come into play. New experiments are born, and Shadow is as mad as hell!!!

***Note*** If you don't like Shadow, or the idea of Sonic losing/being beaten up. Then don't watch this series. ***Sorry about the large file size, :|*** ***ATTENTION MAC USERS*** If you have a Mac you may experiance a slowdown, mainly if you have a LOW RAM, so I'd reccomend Low Quality in this case. ***Also remember use the space-bar for the "Dialouge and Character Description parts in the movie. I can't stress that enough. So please remember that.*** Well, it's basically the next eps. in the series. This one has a lot of new twists and turns. Such as Chaos TH and his brother Kiritsu (Kiritsu is my own Character). Luigi gets kidnapped and those of you who've seen my intro know what's to come of that. Metal Sonic gets upgraded to a new body as Mecha Sonic and defies his programming as he is often one to do. Shadow ascends to his next dark level as well as makes off with a Yoshi egg. A new experiment is sure to come out of this. Also the robot plumber, Metal Mario, another robtoic experiment of Shadow's shall be brought to life from the data that was absorbed by Mecha Shadow in the previous eps. I'd say about 3 weeks to a month I've been working on this. I put a hell of a lot of time and effort into this one. I've improved with much. My sprite edits have gotten better. I took full advantage of Flash MC filters, and other things it has to offer. Let's not forget the Vcam. I tried out my Bud Alvin's 16k frame limit trick so that I don't need to worry about the number of frames I use in a movie. So since this one is over 16k frames, it will be a little longer, but with a lot of new action and twists. Well nothing left to say so, sit back, relax, maybe grab a snack, and enjoy the show. Peace Out, :D

Dawning of Darkness 4

Author's Note: As much as I love a good critique, this is submitted more for nostalgic reasons. If you want to see more recent stuff, you can check it out in the pulldown menu and see my other games that I've done. It is on those that the criticism is truely appreciated. For some very odd reason, I'm still very attached to this little animation I made. This was about a year ago when I was very new to Flash. While I had some experience with vector in illustrator, programming in Basic, and knew the animation principles by working on a traditional animation project, this was the first serious effort I put into a Flash animation. Ever. I made it for a class. The basis was to create a 12 step Rube Goldberg machine (wikipedia it for more info), and I was getting pressed by the deadline. So there are some bits which look really refined and others that look like half-baked whims in comparison. Thus is the nature of a classroom environment. Sometimes it's fun to watch, and realize just how far I've come. Music, Spin the Disk, by Good Cool. Oh man, back in the days when I thought nobody would recognize DDR tracks! Hahaha, I was such a noob back then! (Pokes old self with a pole wrapped in barbed wire and acid)

Rube Goldberg DVD

A fight between two nooblings. In 3D. i dont really like to do descriptions, so just watch it. edit:
ive had \quite some good reviews, so if you think its good, please register to my site and submit your anims:
<a href="http://e2-productions.co" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">http://e2-productions.co</a>
m many people tell me that the song sucks, so if you hate it, turn of your speakers, and still rate the anim. to reply to this review:
How did you export your movie using Blender? I have that program, but I do not know how to export it. I found out about python, but I am not a programmer or have any programming skills. Perhaps, there is a plugin for this. I do not know, obviously. in the menu bar at the bottom, go to the animation menu, and select a avi codec. when done, render. then import the avi to flash.

Nooblings #1

just something new and hopefully will open up some people to this wonderful, and very powerful programming
