First gameplay update! Space travel, galaxy map, giant mode, planet exploring and more!

Hey everyone! PC update v0.11 is now available! This update contains some of the first gameplay systems: Space travel, galaxy map, plasma pistol and the shuttlecraft. There's also a new Giant mode for characters and customisable fluid colours. For the first time you can use the shuttle to leave the ship, land on Planet X and explore an alien world. https://www.patreon.com/CaptainHardcore NEW: Space travel - select a destination in the galaxy map and the ship will take you there using its hyperspace drive.NEW: Galaxy map - Open the map from the computer screen in the bridge. You can use it to travel between locations. The ship can jump a maximum of 300 light years and you can select any destination within range. The galaxy is small for now but it'll grow once more of the gameplay systems are built.NEW: Scanner module - Used from the computer screen in the bridge, it'll reveal any nearby waypoints for the shuttle, more functions and waypoints will be added later!NEW: Shuttle that can take you down to planet surfaces. Once you've scanned the area and found a landing site you can use the shuttle in the hangar at the rear of the ship to descend to the planet's surface. To return to the ship just get back in the shuttle and press launch.NEW: Demo planet environment (Planet X). This small planet area was created to develop the look and feel of an alien planet environment.NEW: Plasma pistol (VR mode only). This is the first weapon, there's not much to shoot at yet but you can practice your aim with the bottles in the bar (don't shoot your crew members!) This is still work in progress, I've not decided how ammo will work yet so for now it has unlimited ammo. Desktop support is almost finished and will be in the next build.NEW: Weapon/Item selection menu (Opened by holding B on the right Index controller or A on Oculus). Time is slowed down while the menu is open.NEW: Customise pee and cum colour.NEW: Scale slider for all toys.NEW: Giant mode - this can be enabled on all characters and most toys. It increases the sliders range so you can create giant characters and toys!NEW: Added footstep sounds for walking on dirt.Improved: Characters now scale from their feet instead of the middle of their body, this stops them getting stuck in the ground when making them larger.Improved: ESC key now closes the main menu in desktop mode.Improved: Some tweaks to the Vive wand controls.Improved: Disabled teleport while in POV mode.FIXED: Large characters have their feet stuck in the ground when spawned.FIXED: Player falling into space when loading some scenes.FIXED: Some minor audio bugs.FIXED: Login issue caused by a bug in Patreons API.FIXED: Added "Intel OpenSSL Fix.bat" inside the FluidGame directory. If you experience crashes on an Intel 10/11th gen processor then running the game through this file instead of the .exe should fix it.Known issues: The collision settings UI can get screwed up when giant mode is enabled, but auto collision is still working.

The 14th Cyanide & Happiness Short I've worked on!

This is owned by Explosm Entertainment, but I drew and animated everything here! This is an animatic, not the final animation, but if you're interested in how it turned out, click here to watch Good Dog on YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC3_hHiXgSA This one was special to me because it was my return to shorts after what felt like a lifetime away from them. All of the shorts I've submitted so far took place in the tail-end of 2015 and into 2016. For the rest of that year, I was busting ass with the rest of the team on Season 3 of the Cyanide & Happiness show. I'll be sure to post those animatics after I've gone through this list of shorts first, but it was a challenging experience that really helped form me as a professional. I grew and learned a lot from it. Immediately after Season 3 of the show, I was also assigned to work on a show from Explosm called Purgatony. It was a refreshing change of pace from the usual stick figures that we drew, but the deadlines were extremely intensive. No fault of anyone's at Explosm, it was specifically for a weird streaming service called "Blackpill" which kept dragging their feet signing the contract while the deadline didn't move...it's a wonder those guys aren't in business anymore. Having just come off from the pressure of season 3, and now into an even more intensive project, I was suffering burnout like crazy. I worked on the introduction sequence to Purgatony and the first four episodes, before I was mercifully put back onto shorts while two animators hopped on to help out with the rest of the season. At the time it was a saving grace, and I had a sour opinion about Purgatony because of the stress, but in hindsight, it was actually a really fun project to work on. I'm happy that I got to try something new, and looking back on it, I really grew and matured because of it. As I type this, Explosm finally got the rights back to Purgatony, and they're releasing it on Youtube for free. After two years, seeing how the final product came out (apparently the French animation studio had tight deadlines too) it came out pretty good! The first episode is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocBEaoW5okc So Good Dog, which I think was completed around March of 2017, was an opportunity to return to form. Producers were quick to point out that I had been over-detailing animatics in the past, so sometimes, throughout Season 3, I would revert to what I called "Redline" which was a loose approximation to how a character should look. It was meant to be fast and sloppy. Some of that exists here, and the entirety of the dog is bluelined because I wasn't sure what design they were going to go for. There was uncertainty if there was an existing dog rig they could re-use for the short, but Jerald, our character designer, wound up creating a dog based on what I drew here. Magical trevor is back with a new trick. I just want to clear up the lyrics for some people: He's back and he's got a new trick.
Magical Trevor is 10 times as slick as the last time,
the last time you saw him,
now you can see why we really adore him.
You might think his new trick is sick,

Look at the pigeon, now it's in 2.
