There's a new doctor in town... and he's a ROBOT doctor!

For Newgrounds Robot Jam 2016 This was a lot of fun to work on! I had the extreme privilege to work again with Zeedox on backgrounds, and Tyler Landis and IAmAVoiceActor contributing AMAZING voices for this! :D More of my work: http://www.JesseJayJones.com -- EDIT (7/15/16): WOAH!!! Thank you so much for the FrontPage!! I really appreciate it! Love you guys. <3

Intern Robot Doctor

robotday

In the distant future, robots will be helping us with our jobs, so much so that many of us will forget how to do them. They're made to do things better, aren't they? --- Wow, I almost killed myself making this and i'm still late LOL Edit:
Thanks for all of the support and front page, everyone!!! After I frantically "finished" this animation, I was kinda disappointed at how poorly the ending turned out, but I'm glad many of you are still enjoying it! Unfortunately, because my schedule has picked up, I'm not sure if I can keep up with the remainder of the Summer Jams, but I'll try my best. Thanks again, everyone! --- tl;dr: I have poor time management

Robot Jobs

A video for robot day about robot domination

this animation was supossed to be for the animation Jam but because of familiar problems and bad time manegement at the end this came out but i guess is better than nothing

Robot Domination

technology is ruining society!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Jester Day

For the Animation Summer Jam. Did the animation in about 6 days, definitely wish I had another week. The other voice actor goes by WIllow you can find her on DeviantArt @ wfengs.deviantart.com

Robots Stole My Job

Yay, Happy Robot Day 2016 and a toast to another animation! Specifically for da Robot Theme Jam. lub u EDIT: OMG Thank you for the Front Paaaaage!!!!!! For more than a decade, it's been my dream to make something worthy of getting front paged here! I dunno who's behind it, but thank you to Tom and everyone else!!!!!! This only makes me want to make better stuff! EDIT 2: Added a loading screen

The Animation Teacher

Made for the 2nd round of Summer Animation Jam 2016 (and Robot Day!)

Barely made it but here I am! Since it's still processing, I'll write a bit about the process. It was a bit rough. I didn't know what to do for the first couple of days and brainstormed with friends. Then I got started on something but didn't know what to do with the ending for the longest of times. I contacted some voice actors at the beginning of the second week and asked if they wanted to do some lines. When they agreed, I finished the script and sent it to them. For a long time this animation didn't have any colors, and creating a palette for this project took a lot longer than I wanted. I was unsure about the outcome until the second-final day when I added a background overlay. Audio was a bitch with this one. Some clips were hard to find, other's had to be created by combining multiple sound effects into a single noise, but I'm glad I managed! All in all this project was a lot more fun than the last one. I had a blast streaming some of this on twitch, come visit me sometime! <3

SAJ2016: Teacher's Pet

I regret to say that I could only get this far in the project before the deadline hit me. this is only a WIP that will probably never be finished. however, I didn't want all the work I did to go to waste; so I'll be posting what did get done. I expect nothing good to come of it, but maybe i can use it's spotty progress as a means to show off my process for making an animation, should this be used in a portfolio. thank you for your understanding.

Robot Job Infomercial

An optimistic outlook on robots taking over our jobs

"People tend to have a pretty pessimistic view on robotics labor taking over our labor.
But I believe there's a lot of reason to be more optimistic about what might come." There's a reason I'm not making poetry, but thanks a lot to Saminat for making the cool voice lines despite of how poorly I wrote it ;) Lyrics:
Taxi robot took, my job away
realistically I look, and guess I don't have to complain
my family is supported, by basic pay
and it has been reported, it's safer anyway Flying soldier robot, came in through the door
for many years I fought, but there is no more war
the enemies I haven't seen, they're on vaca
under a palm tree, on bora bora bay Creative robot brain, took my career away
but it's producing, my next video game
and in VR I don't look the same
now I get the girls without the shame, of pretending my art isn't lame Farmer robot does my work
I'm sunbathing on the plains
No more hay on my fork
And I don't bring animals in pain
Cause the meat is lab grown, and it still tastes the same === I also want to make a post about how I made the character animations soon! (spoiler: it involves quite a lot of programming and little drawing)

At your service

Robots are now in control of creative industry. There are no more human.
Took me 3 days non-stop to make it.

Beep-boop. Started animating this on Friday and literally finished an hour before uploading, special thanks to Lukas and Janitor for helping with in-betweens, as well to Ryan Boone for doing the painted backgrounds.

Robot Hotline

My 2nd Newgrounds' "Summer" Animation "Bots Taking Over" toon try (good, fun practice; all done with mouse). Busy metal recycling facility is offering its first robot trainee program, till a new bot law surpasses and blue collar trainers become sick, bot trainees. Overtime pay? Happy bot day all. Comments welcome.

Trainee Blues

Robots are tired of the opression by humans.

Made for round 2 of the animation jam and robot day.
Went for a more simplistic style this time around.
Hope you enjoy it!

Fish Job

Hello. This part of the Animation Jam's 2nd Round that was about robots. I was really excited about this because I tried a new art style for my backgrounds and I wanted to see if it looked good. The Sound Effects are from the Youtube's Audio Library and my iMovie, hilariously. Body Falling Sound Effect by Iwan Sounds and DIY at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEOCQHkWn-4 I hope everyone can enjoy this shitty thing that I made.

Replaced

He wasn't born to do this job, he was built to do it

The Camera Man

A misterious man that may be called father time or technology guy creates a time machine that actually doesnt have to be real time machine but a metaphor for time passing by and as he pushes the button all his technological creations come to take people's jobs and end up being brutal and emotionless. Future doesnt seem to be fun.

Big Guy, Bigger Bot

In the year 199X robots are being entirely miss-used

Edit: Thanks for the front page! Made this in two weeks for the Round2 of the NG Summer Jam!
When i saw the theme i knew i wanted to do something with robots that are woefully inadequate at their job and having recently played MGS for the first time figured the worse thing to be terrible at is being sneaky on a top secret mission. Hopefully the voices don't sound too bad. Had to re-record them after Adobe Audition decided to banish my entire session into the void. Anyways enough rambling Happy Robot Day!
