[ANIMATION W/ SOUND] Samus Aran [METROID]

Greetings, Long time no see! This project is pretty much on the experimental side. The main part is originally only side view of the characters. Being too simple, I have come up of an idea of making a front view of Samus as a background and sync them together. This is the result. As for poor Samus, She seem to be really popular character for my audience. Maybe it's actually Ridley that is the popular one . If this is something you like. you can have them more here

Metroid : Samus has Sex

Hi, In this flash you will see the fusion of Madness and Metroid =P -This is actually my first complete flash movie, took me around 2 to 3 months to do (well since i started it i didnt go 24/7 on it =P more like an hour a week lol) and since i love metroid and madness so much i had to do it about both things combined so Plz watch and leave constructive coments that would be apreciated thx. -I had to rush the ridley fight part a lot because i had little time before madness day, so next time i will take more time to do the sequel (if there ever is one :o) -Erreip 199

Madness Prime

Hey everyone! The 3rd installment is here, earlier than expected, but here none the less. Believe it or not, alot of hard work went into this sprite movie, and when I say hard work, I mean late nights running into problems that bugged the crap out of me! But its all good now. Enjoy Metroid fans!

2026 Update While going through the original 2006 emails and project files, I rediscovered that Kagome Higurashi (Rina-chan) provided some of Samus's voice acting for this animation. Her credit was already present in the Flash itself, but she was previously only listed as "Kagome". I've updated the author comments with her full credit and the scenes she voiced. I've also been digging back through the original production history and rediscovering collaborators and voice actors I hadn't thought about in 20 years.Honestly... I may have to continue this project one day. ________________________________________________ This movie will most likely NOT be continued. If you want to know the rest of the story just google "metroid manga". Added voice actors to the co-authors list. This flash is based on the storyline from the official Metroid e-manga. It's about Samus Aran at three years old, living peacefully on planet 'K2-L' before the invasion begins. In this Epic there are a lot of; sprites which I made from scratch, edits from the originals and various sprite rips from the Metroid games. Voices:Elliarlel - Samus AranKagome Higurashi (Rina-chan) - Samus Aran in Chozo Wisdom and Chozo must go scenes (I split the lines) Fat kid - mikemetroid5565 random girl - Queenie (my sister) Choujin (old chozo) - Mental Myles/Nut lock Space Pirates - DJJ-asshole Rod - Shock Dingo Verginia - Shannon Hilchie

Edit: YAY! my first award! thanks NG! I'm proud to present my first movie in months, Metroid Rogue Formula! Samus has recently escaped from the planet zebes after investigating some activity on the surface. When she left, she gave her findings to an team of elite scientists to investigate them further. When she loses contact with them shortly after, what new threat awaits her? Only 680k! Hope you enjoy it, i might make a sequel if I get a good response.

Metroid: Rogue Formula

The conclusion of the epic story of two Space Pirates chasing down Samus for their cookies

After half a year of waiting, it's finally out! BE SURE TO WATCH PART ONE FIRST! The conclusion of the epic story of two Space Pirates chasing down Samus for their cookies! As with the first one, all the 3D animation was done in Flash without the use of any 3D programs. But with Part 2, I added some blurring effects with Photoshop that couldn't be done otherwise. Enjoy looking for Easter eggs, watching the text commentary and playing the bonus features! I hope you like it, Metroid Confusion took me a total of over a year to make!

Metroid Confusion: Part 2

Note: The blinking cursor is the next button. Sorry, I thought it was instinctive enough, guess not. Ever since the release of Metroid Prime, I planed to do this movie. Now, just after the release of its sequel Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, I give you "What if Samus Aran was kiddy?" I also put in two hidden scenes. See if you can find them. I based it of the Super Metroid, so there "might" be some nostalgia for you old-school gamers.

What if Samus was kiddy?

Two Space Pirates track down Samus Aran for Grandma's cookies!

UPDATE: About the Famicom thing, I know what it means, it's A JOKE! Anyway, this movie is not about Samus Aran, but rather from the view of two Space Pirates who were kicked out of the colony, chasing down Samus for their most prized possesion. This is the first movie that I made with pseudo-3D effects without using Swift 3D. In fact, the only program I used was Flash MX, except for the programs I used to edit sound. Be on the lookout for lots of Easter Eggs!

Metroid Confusion: Part 1

Mocktroid 2! Its finally done! My second Metroid parody!

Mocktroid 2! Here it is. part 2 to the original Mocktroid. Sorry about the file size, but, there is a pre loader so, yea. For any idiots that cant read, At the Title screen press enter, then choose from the 3 options, and when it gets around to people talking, click their speech boxes to continue. :D Enjoy Super Mocktroid! The most retarded metroid parody ever! UPDATED! For all you Mocktroid fans who dont like the fact that you have to click the speech boxes, all you have to do now is press enter to continue after someone talks. thats right, press enter instead of clicking the speech boxes. :D Enjoy! OH TO ALL WHO LOVE THIS CARTOON! Thank you for helping me win my very first award of Daily Feature! This is a very large honor for me! thanks SO much and I will get part 2 to this done ASAP! Thanks again to all the Mocktroid fans who made this award possible! :D NOW! I am going to have to clear a few things up. I have several complaints about the graphics. PEOPLE! ITS A GOD DAMN VIDEOGAME PARODY!!! They are not supposed to be artistic graphics! Its supposed to be 16 bits of stupidity! So please, stop telling me that okay? Ridley IS 16 bits, he just looks like the 8 bit ridley, i mean, watch the end where he turns back into 8 bits, there is a MAJOR color and detail difference! Four the one person that couldent get passed the Title screen. I myself had this problem, If your hitting enter, and nothing is happening, Click on the flash window itself, and then hit enter, your computer might not have the window selected. Now, a few of you have been asking, "Why did you use sprites instead of just drawing?" Well, like i said, ITS A VIDEO GAME PARODY! heh, go to the video game parody page, there are not very many that are drawn there. SO that explains the sprite use. Now, also, I am VERY untalented in flash (just go watch my other movies for god sakes, you will see how ungifted I am) And this is my third attempt at a video game parody (the first being my short lived zelda/evil dead toon, and the second being Mocktroid 1) But from the complaints so far, I can only make the next Mocktroid better. So, give me more Hints, Ideas, tell me more problems with this one and I will do my best. But I will continue to use sprites, for this is not a show off of my art, this is a Metroid parody, so please, dont point that out again. and if you must tell me i did a bad job, use constructive critisisim and tell me exactly what bothered you. I will try to meet the needs of every one of you who has taken the time out of your day to see my cartoon. Thank you very much! :) And as I said, the next mocktroid is well underway, so if anyone has suggestions, comments, ideas or anything useful for me, E-mail me. Have a good Newgrounds Day all! Keep Blammin and protectin our community from shitty work! Peace!:P UPDATED! You can now skip the typing scenes, but you still have to weatch the memories! So, if you have never seen this before, dont skip the typings, unless you REALLY want to. heh. All work and no play makes Kit a dull mouse.... UPDATED AGAIN! I took away a few buttons due to comlications and stuff. not too much. So, hah. Go see Mocktroid Fusion after this! YES IT'S DONE!!!

Super Mocktroid

Second part with Samus and Megaman fighting the Robot Masters

After about a little more than a months work, I finally finished the second part to my Samus and Megaman series. If you haven't seen the first part, it would be a good idea to check that out first. I think this one is clearly my best flash so far, and it is my longest movie so far too. This movie is a little over 8 minutes long, but it is worth watching the whole thing. At first I wasn't going to even continue the series, but after all the good reviews I got from the first, I decide to go ahead and make this part. I don't know when the third part will be out, but it will definately come out before the end of the summer. Daily Feature! I was sure I wasn't going to get it, but I guess I was wrong. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Thanks to Newgrounds, and to everyone for their votes and reviews. and look out for part 3 later this summer! (Change to medium-quality for best results)

Samus and Megaman Part 2

Samus and Megaman team up to fight Dr. Wily's robots.

I started this movie in March and worked on it off and on since then. This movie started out as a battle between Samus and Megaman, but later turned into them teaming up and fighting Dr. Wily's robots. I don't know when Part 2 will be ready, but hopefully soon. Well, I hope you enjoy it. Part 2 is out now (change to Medium Quality if running slow)

Samus and Megaman Part 1

Mario and Yoshi have a little fun with some Metroids...

Metroids On Shrooms

Before you bash the commercial end and make fun of it for being an ad, know that it was CREATED TO BE AN ADD FOR A CONTEST. The contest was to make a Nintendo related ad. So the ending is neccesary. Post whether you like the content, not whether the ad was annoying or not, please. I want to know if more people would like to see HUD View Samus movies. This is a little 2+ minute movie that I made for a contest on http://cube.ign.com one of the rules being that it is an advertisement for anything Nintendo. I had a movie idea with Samus already, so I shortened it somwhat and turned it into a sort of 'long commercial.' Don't worry, it still has great viewing value. My animation style is one of imperfection, meaning that I purposefully leave little holes around places and have wiggly instead of straight lines. I think this is much more unique and 'natural' looking, but some may think my style looks unproffessional. This is just a heads up to those of you who may. I hope to get some good scores, let me know if you want to see more HUD view Samus movies in the future, I will make them if this gets good reviews. ~MrGuru

Megaman vs samus

Hi. For the past couple of days I'd been wondering why suddenly so many people had been viewing and responding to my movie. It was today (11-10-2002) that I found out that my smash bros parody had been put in a newly formed Kirby collection. I was surprised and honored.... and still slightly concerned. I'd been mad that so many people were upset that Kirby lost. Now that I see that they only watched this movie to see the Power from Popstar wail on the Maiden of Metroid only to be crushed by his loss, I understand. You have to understand that this movie was made over a year ago when I was just teaching myself Flash. If you all give me some cool new ideas I'll start a SAMUS VS. KIRBY 2 as soon as I finish another project I'm working on now, which should be in the portal before Thanksgiving. Thank you and enjoy if you can.

Samus vs Kirby

A Dark Sci-Fi thriller staring Samus. The last Metroid has been stolen by space pirates lead by the Mother Brain. Brave Samus the bounty hunter investigates.
