ROTTEN SCARECROWS

The head honcho Cisernos get manhandled by a man in armor for being abusive

"I always knew that i shouldn't have hope. But for just one moment, i wanted to dream." Bola thought to herself, fighting the tears that threatened to burst forth by closing her eyes. The patrons begin to pour back into the cafe. "Hey Bola." That same raspy voice that lorded over her nightmares came to her ears. Bola opened her blurry vision only to be greeted with Cisernos's terrifying grin as she licked her lips inches from the maid's visage. "It's time for us to discuss your work performance." She said slowly, watching with glee as the fear and hopelessness truly etched itself on the maid's face with every word she says. Bola's third eye darted to the right. Juri stood there, a bead of sweat broke across her forehead. Her hands trembling, it was alien to Bola to see the sadistic maid in such a state. "Don't look at Juri, she isn't going to save you. Now about that client." Cisernos grabbed Bola's wrist, she didn't grab too hard or anything. Why would she? The look on Bola's dumb cute little face tells her that she isn't going to resist. "Follow me into my office-" Cisneros noticed that Bola's eyes widened and her lip started trembling as she took a wobbly step back, Juri took five steps back, the maids stood as still as a scarecrow. And that when she felt the scalding hot metal fingers wrapped around her throat. Searing the flesh off her neck. She was lifted off the ground like a toddler, the now heated metal burning into her throat. Bola fell on her butt as she stared at the raging inferno that was the armored warrior who saved her life. The Slayer has returned. Cisneros got slammed face first into the ground, cracks forming as her nose is caved in and lights flung wildly in her vision as she thrown into the window of Sweet Cream. "OOOOOHHHHHHHHH SHHHHHHHHHHIITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!" Cisneros screamed as she hit the glass back first, the shattering making all the patrons jump back. Some of the maids winced, not in sympathy, but some of them knew from first hand experience that getting hurled through a glass window hurted. Cisneros had been so kind as to demonstrate that to them whenever they got out of line. Lucky for her that she had access to a repairman that was pretty cheap. Cisneros felt the long jagged glass shards impale her all over. Luckily none of them hit too deep. The back of her head hit the counter of the bar, knocking over drinks. She blacked out for only a moment, prior experiences had hardened her to quickly snap out of a black out. Another factor that played into her recovering a little more quickly was her martial art. All Martial Art users have a higher tolerance for pain and damage. How much can they take depends from user to user. "And…thank Veju for me unlocking my Martial Art. But to more important matters…HOW THE FUCK ISN'T THIS BASTARD DEA-" The thought that Cisneros had died in her brain as she saw the towering inferno walking towards her like a warning from the Titans themselves. Cisernos grabbed her shotgun, her hands shaking, the melted flesh from her throat dripping onto the shotgun. she couldn't afford to make another pocket dimension. It would take a lot of time and energy which she damn sure didn't have right now. Hell when she got access to that giant napalm bomb courtesy of Reggie she placed it in the pocket dimension because she knew that if she ever had to finally take down that smug bastard Mikhali then that would be an instant win condition. "I knew he was tough but how the hells did he survive that?! It was a specially designed napalm bomb made in that other realm during a war. That bomb alone could wipe out an entire army! I paid half of Juri's college fund for that bomb!" She thought in a panic (she hated the fact that she of all people was losing her calm in this moment.) The Patrons scattered with only one female staying to watch what was about to happen. She was obliterated on five beers and three martinis and she never missed a good fight in her life. "Juri! Soda! Get him!!!" Cisernos roared, even if it pained her to do so, luckily her vocal cords weren't damaged too badly. Both Juri and Soda look at each other, and then at the burning warrior that slowly made his way to their boss. Each step blackening the wooden floor. Juri's hands tightened over the handle of the farenblade (a laser sword that can cut through most things, she was not eager to risk her life on this simple fact however.) and she took a step back. The sweet wholesome maid next to her named Soda hovered her hand near her gun holster before thinking better of it. "You fucking cowards, all of you are good for nothing-" Cisneros cut herself off, now wasn't the time for perfectly justified anger. Cisneros attempted to fire her shotgun but the Slayer jammed his fingers into the hole and the shotgun exploded, Cisneros's right arm exploded in pain as it became encased in ice. The feeling in her hand was already dead. The sharp ice shards tearing through her veins and muscle tissue. She screamed in agony, and did her best to blink back the tears rapidly making their way to her eyes. The one woman cheered as the maids gasped in shock and horror. Bola's eyes were as wide as dinner plates as Juri had a small smile at the sight of Cisernos's in pain. Soda grinned at the satisfying sight of her boss finally getting what was coming to her bitch ass. The Slayer grabbed her by the hair and forced her to look him in the eyes. All the patrons and maids watched with bated breath. "Who else does Mikhali have under him? It can't be just you, give me names." The Slayer told her as he lifted her up in front of everyone, powerless to do much of anything. And she fucking hated that. Cisernos grunts but figures she still have a shot of getting out of this alive with most of her body intact. "Mikhali you bastard, you might actually be in trouble." Cisernos thought with a grin. "Alright, I assume you want to be a hero to the downtrodden so i give you the names and you get the hell out of my establishment. Deal?" Cisnernos asked of the warrior. The Slayer nodded.

(VOLUME WARNING+FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED)Fuzzy and Fluffy ask a stranger for directions!~~~~~~~~~~~~Okay, creator commentary time! First and foremost, I apologize for how long this one took in coming out, as I was sick for nearly 2 whole weeks earlier this month. But luckily it all worked out and I could complete it before Halloween. This project is actually a bit of an interesting one because it's a remake of a project I did for 3D Animation class last fall when we had to do a creatures themed short for Halloween, which is why everyone here is more round as they were originally low poly Animal Crossing-style models. I came up with these killer teddy bears, their C-3POesque worrywart owl friend, a rude scarecrow who's lost his scaring mojo and his pumpkin minion. This is the first Screwypilled Tooncels short that doesn't feature Rick, Roxy, Freddy or any of what my primary characters that I dub ''The Looneywood Acres Gang''. I did have a Halloween one with them planned but again, as I fell sick I had limited time and this one was further along completion. Plus I wanted to introduce these guys because they're just one in a group of rotating cast of Animaniacs/KaBlam-inspired secondary ensemble characters. I may eventually just pull a Smiling Friends and drop that one out of season so look forward to that.... This Christmas! Or Valentine's Day... Or Easter.... Regardless, I guess Rick's Demon Dilemma can sort of count as this year's Halloween cartoon with said Looneywood Acres crew since it had demons and released close enough to October. Those with a keen eye may notice I've actually featured these guys in a couple of easter eggs in some past projects since I like to do a lot of foreshadowing and early cameos. Here they finally are in the flesh! I initially intended to make them my sort of ''B'' segment cartoon but lately I'm leaning into making them more of a Kang and Kodos/Mr.Hankey deal where they only appear during their respective holiday season. This is also the first time Clover the puppy from my Hellhounds student movie has a proper speaking appearance in this series so I guess he's officially carried over from that. I may make my next cartoon feature Snowball, the other doggie that stole the heart of my classmates back in the spring.~~~~~~~~~~Sound courtesy of Pixabay Music:"Teddy Bear Waltz" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License<a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/</a> HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vestfoDcUdI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Watch on YouTube</a>

LOOP Animation of a Girl and her allies ready to BATTLE(?)

Looks like Pai is ready to fight but its too bad it looks like she's the only one is who rarin' to go! Pumpk and Cham seemed worried! I originally created this looping test animation a year ago to see how well the character designs hold up during animation and they work quite nicely. Razz was still the most difficult though. Still, Im hella proud of this Key Image. And since I updated the character designs pretty recently, you all at Newgrounds get to see this newest version first! Background by <a href="https://sprech4.newgrounds.com" rel="nofollow">@Sprech4</a> on Twitter. When I think of THE WILL OF MONSTERS, I don't think of it as a whimsical, spooky cartoon but sorta as a JRPG with Halloween elements attached. So think Final Fantasy 9 or Bravely Default but with a different coat of paint. THE WILL OF MONSTERS is an upcoming 2D Action-Adventure Fantasy film about two Scarecrows who team up with a talentless witch to survive the night against violent and hungry enemies. You can view the teaser-trailer at the link below! <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/741968">https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/741968</a>

Scarecrows

This is a new submission in the series. Ive slightly restructured the series so this the new episode 5. Emo boy and Julia go for a walk and receive some advice from the scarecrow. Embrace your dreams! This is a short (yes short) video so plz dont comment on the shortness of it cause I dont wanna hear that. =) Happy Halloween everyone!!!

The Emo Boy 5 (new)

Scarecrow has a heart attack and lets Lion and Tin Man know exactly how he feels.

The characters you love from the wizard of oz but with more swearing. I know the scarecrow sounds like a mix between Carl from Aquateen and John Travolta, so lay off.

From the Heart

Life sure is tough for a scarecrow... Thanks for watching!
Dan I'll answer all reviews I can:) Update:
I must thank you all for such a positive response! I could never imagine it would suit so many of you, fellow newgrounders! Thank you! Update:
Maybe someone could be kind and recommend this to the "serious shorts" collection? I don't want this to just disappear like it use to. Thanks!

TC Round 2: Vs ScareCrow

Jack and his animal buddies undertake a journey to a better place.

Jack, a simple scarecrow, has been protecting the farmlands for as long as he can remember. Spending most of his time sleeping and daydreaming, he is shocked when his crow friend Tony has some big news. There might actually be someone like Jack far away and Tony guarantees it's worth the journey. Accompanied by the old rabbit Roy, the three set off to see if there really is more behind the horizon. The voiceacting is by Andy Dennis (<a href="http://www.andydennis.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.andydennis.co.uk</a>) and Laura Post (<a href="http://www.laurapost.net" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.laurapost.net</a>)
The original music is by Stile (<a href="http://web.tiscali.it/stileonline" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">http://web.tiscali.it/stileonline</a>), Jared Hudson and Andres Ciambotti NOTE: the quality button works, but you have to wait till the movie is loaded if you want to toggle it to high quality (press button 2 times). Make sure you have 2GB ram if you watch it at high quality. The quality of the drawings greatly improves though Some background info:
I know it has been over 2 years since i have submitted anything new. What happened? Well 2 years ago i started this project with great motivation, but somewhere halfway, after 5 months, i completely lost all motivation to draw and animate. This could have been done in 7 months or so but instead i took a 1,5 year break. I really needed it, to get away from it all for a while, to regain inspiration and motivation. I mainly focused on my study and social life and even though i made very little that period, i think i learned alot about art and animation by just watching and reading stuff. I plan to make a few smaller movies before i start working on episode 2 of this thing. This series is meant to have 5 episodes, but i sincerely hope the others won't take me 2 years each also lol. Anyway, Take care AITD
